The Wedding of Our Dreams
We had the absolute pleasure of booking our wedding with the Crowne Plaza team. The event coordinators we had the pleasure of working with were communicative, responded quickly, and were always willing to help or provide answers to questions as they arose. On the day of our wedding, Kristy did an incredible job of checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, but also took the time to make sure I was feeling okay because she knew how nervous I was. There was never a doubt in my mind that Kristy would make our dream wedding come true! Amanda also did an incredible job of setting up the Atrium for our ceremony and took the vision I had in mind and brought it to life. Throughout the evening, we also had incredible banquet staff members who took such good care of us and our guests. Our family and friends could not stop raving about how wonderful they were. Connor and Sapphire were on top of their game and ensured everything ran smoothly. Sapphire made sure to wrap our meals and some desserts for us because they noticed we were spending time with our guests and didn't have the chance to sit down and enjoy our meals fully. Connor took the time to attend to one of our friends who had a severe allergy and ensured everything was safe for her to eat. He also took measures to make sure there was plenty of water for our guests to hydrate with after dancing the night away. If you are considering booking your wedding with Crowne Plaza, just know you are in such great hands and you will not regret it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a memorable and incredible evening that we'll remember for the rest of our lives!-

5 Star Wedding Venue
We cannot say enough amazing things about the Crowne Plaza for hosting our wedding ceremony and reception. From start to finish, the entire day was absolutely seamless. Kristy and Amanda truly went above and beyond — every detail was perfectly organized, executed flawlessly, and handled with such care. I never once felt like a burden; instead, they made me feel supported, heard, and completely at ease. They brought my vision to life exactly as I imagined it.
Having access to the bridal suite for the entire day was a huge bonus — it was fabulous and made the day so much more enjoyable for my bridal party and me. On a day as important as your wedding, you don’t want to be sweating the small stuff, and thanks to this incredible team, I didn’t have to worry about anything.
To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious — our guests are still talking about it! I would recommend the Crowne Plaza to anyone looking to host their wedding or special event. Truly a five-star experience in every way. -

March 2024 Wedding!
The team at the Crowne Plaza helped ensure our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more! Guests were captivated by our ceremony in the Atrium, well fed with both dinner and a late night snack, and enjoyed staying the night after the party was over. Lelia was incredibly responsive to ALL my emails and helped ensure every little detail was executed as we had discussed. She coordinated with all our vendors to truly pull off our dream wedding! We stayed in the parlor suite at the hotel for a few days and that was also very worth it. I highly recommend this venue for anyone with a good size family, lots of people traveling, and looking for beautiful indoor event spaces. -

Had the best day ever!
We had our wedding in the Atrium at Crowne plaza on NYE and it was an absolutely perfect day.
Lyric and Lelia are a dream team. They are knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and they just made the whole process a breeze. Wedding planning is generally a stressful experience but anything venue related was so simple and the group menu tasting was especially fun!
Everything about our day was great. The Atrium space is breathtaking and hardly needs any decorations at all. I actually based our color palette off the room to keep it simple and elegant and that’s exactly what it was.
Our cocktail hour was in Alfred’s Lounge and people are still talking about how nice it was! Plenty of seating, but still enough space to walk around and mingle.
The reception was like a dream. Again, just stunning and the team did a phenomenal job on such a quick flip. My jaw dropped when they opened the door to introduce us. We actually did all our own flowers and I couldn’t believe how gorgeous everything looked. Honestly I hardly gave the girls any direction at all with the decorations but they killed it. Again, the space is gorgeous on its own so anything would be beautiful.
The food was delicious and the servers and bar staff were so attentive. They continued to check on us throughout the night to make sure we were actually eating or to see if we needed anything to drink. They were also super flexible with last minute changes, which is very much appreciated!
Part of the appeal to have the wedding there was everything you need is on site, including room block. Since it was a holiday, I think we filled close to 50 rooms. Kelly and Melissa were so receptive to all my requests, changes, questions and last minutes. The girls got ready in the Parlor suite and it was perfect. Plenty of space for 4 hair and makeup setups, all the girls, moms, aunts and a few others. The guys actually just used a regular executive room and it was plenty of space for all of them!
Another part of the appeal was the cost. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was in comparison to some of the other venues we looked at.
Overall, I would highly recommend booking Crowne Plaza as your wedding venue!

Wedding Venue
We couldn’t say enough great things about this venue! Our wedding coordinator, Catherine Gray, started about halfway through our planning process. We booked this venue almost 2 years out from our wedding. Catherine came on and was so attentive, energetic, supportive, and responsive. She answered any and all questions my mother and I had, which were many, and was just so amazing to work with! We had our ceremony in the Rotunda room, our cocktail hour in the Bristol room, and our reception in the Atrium room; and all were so beautiful and amazing! My wedding was an absolute dream come true and our venue had such a big role in that. Majority of our guests stayed at the hotel as well, and we were able to hang in the Crossings restaurant after the reception and had a nice buffet breakfast the morning after the wedding. They offer a complimentary shuttle to and from TF Green airport. Couldn’t say enough great things about this venue and our coordinator. You should definitely book this note for your wedding, you won’t regret it! -

The team at the Crowne Plaza did an amazing job for our wedding.
I worked with Talia specifically and I cannot say enough good things about her!! She helped me make my dream wedding come true. Her hard work did not go unnoticed. She responded to all my questions and requests and was super organized and on top of everything. She is also a super sweet person! You will be in good hands with her as your wedding coordinator at the Crowne!
The Atrium is a stunning venue - we got so many compliments on it from our guests as well. I couldn’t imagine a better wedding package (and I did a lot of research and venue tours). Our cake was included in the package, awesome food, the tables, chairs, ceremony patio area, hotel rooms for our guests, etc - it’s a beautiful place to get married! -

We could not be happier!
My fiancée and I cannot say enough about how beautiful and perfect our night was. We had to plan our wedding through out a pandemic and the Crowne Plaza was in touch with us the whole way. When the summer started Talia met and talked with us as much as we needed to make our day happen. Even when we moved from the atrium to the tent Talia put the room together to have it feel so intimate and special. The food and drinks all were delicious and we could not be happier! Highly recommend! -

The perfect package deal!
The Atrium at the Crowne Plaza is exactly what my husband and I were looking for and the quality of care we received from Meghan and Talia exceeded our expectations! We knew from the beginning that we needed a space that could accommodate lots of out of town guests without them having to travel between ceremony/reception locations. After visiting a few venues we decided to book the Atrium at Crowne Plaza for both ceremony and reception, and had our cocktail hour in their cozy lounge, Alfred’s. It was important that we found a location with great food, ambiance, and wanted a package deal (we did not want to have to hire a caterer, alcohol, linens, etc. separately). The Crowne Plaza provided us all of this and MORE. Meghan was extremely helpful and so attentive throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was quick to respond to emails and even met with me a few times prior to the big day. Our food tasting was to die for, even our parents were blown away by the excellent quality of food from a hotel! Meghan and her assistant Talia did everything to make our dream day come true! Even with a bit of construction going on, Meghan had the construction sites cleaned up and hidden, and the day was perfect. I had very specific requests for placement of room/table/ceremony decorations and Meghan and Talia NAILED IT! Our guests raved over the food, service, and how beautiful the Atrium is. I booked a suite for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the day of and it was just what we needed. The newly renovated rooms are luxurious and provided plenty of space for everyone to get ready. We snagged a great venue with a very reasonable package price and hotel room block pricing, and an awesome wedding coordinator! I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza, Megan, and her team to anyone looking for a beautiful location with the perfect package deal! Thank you so much for ensuring everything went just as we hoped for – my husband and I had the time of our lives and it will certainly be one of our best memories. -

Meghan and her team were fantastic! Our room was set up exactly how we wanted it, the food was great, the cake was amazing. Excellent value. Great pricing for what we got in comparison to every other venue we looked in to. We loved that beverages go towards the minimum amount which we couldn’t find anywhere else. This was great with the intimate guest list we had. The wedding package they offer is perfect. Love that we were able to get our cake on site and not have to worry about another vendor and potential transportation mishaps.Quick responses to emails and all questions answered. Meghan and Talia kept the day going smoothly for us and we’re even kind enough to help my MOH with my 60 butting bustle to keep us going on time for the reception. Would definitely have an event here again.-

Atrium Dream Wedding
We began our wedding experience at the Crowne Plaza with Maria who was great, however she accepted a new position so we continued then to work with Megan Darby and her assistant Talia.
Our experience with Megan was wonderful! She was always there for every last detail from the beginning of the process through the actual day where she was ever present her lovely energetic self. Megan took care of every last detail. She is so pleasant and so dedicated to her job it makes the experience easier and when you’re planning something of this magnitude it means a lot.
We received so many comments from numerous guests regarding the quality of food, the high level of service, and just the overall beauty of the room (Atrium) we could not be more satisfied. The decorations/staging were all done to perfection.  So many people raved about the food that we lost track, only wish we could have tried more! Tip to future brides and grooms, take your plate and go hide somewhere so you can eat :)
We can't say enough great things about Meghan and Talia, they were both so helpful and patient through the whole process and anyone that gets to work with them in the future will be extremely pleased! Meghan even came to our rescue with some scissors for the grooms boutonniere! (1st photo attached). I found out the next day we had a mirror fall off the easel, thanks to our son and nephew running (mirror prior to destruction pictured in second photo by entrance). Luckily only the frame broke but for a minute I was surprised we had no idea it happened and then it dawned on me... that is the point! There are not enough THANK YOU's in the world for Meghan, Talia and the entire Crowne Plaza staff.-

Crowne Plaza Hotel- Omg I cant say enough about the wedding coordinators Meghan and Talia!!!! They LITERALLY answer every annoying email for over a year lol. They are both super prompt, helpful, patient, detailed, thorough and sooo sweet!! They set up EVERY single thing exactly how we wanted. They made our experience phenomenal!!!! The venue itself was beautiful as we was in the Atrium room which has been updated beautifully along with the newly renovated hotel rooms!!!! It was super helpful during the “getting ready” portion of the day to have separate getting ready rooms for the guys and the girls!!! Outdoor ceremony was beautiful!!! Food was awesome!!!! The only mix up through the whole day was the hotel rooms themselves during check in at front desk, Setting aside hotel rooms mix ups, I HIGHLY recommend Crowne Plaza as a wedding venue!!!! I wouldn’t change a thing!!!!!! ❤️ -

Crowne plaza what ?
I was a very detail oriented bride who want the perfect “Black tie affair” theme. Meeting with Meghan (I’m surprised she wasn’t sick of me) weekly for a year and half going over details of the theme made it perfect! She payed attention to the details that I wanted the tasting was amazing and they listened to us when we talking about food & flavor. The food was amazing and they listened to exactly what my husband and I wanted. Our guests still till this day it was the best wedding that they have attended. The service was impeccable, staff was friendly, the small details were amazing. Our wedding cake was amazing the bakery the Crowne works with is PHENOMENAL. We were very unconventional with our cake and they made my vision come true . They were absolute rockstars and I am forever thankful for the amazing day. I said then and I’ll say it now Meghan and the Crowne plaza wedding team are saints and amazing human beings to work with I am forever blessed.-

This place is awesome!
I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza for a wedding! We had an absolute blast and the Atrium is so beautiful. Meghan made sure everything we needed was ready and the way we wanted it. She did an amazing job and was awesome to work with. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. -

Wonderful for the out of state planner
We had a wonderful experience here at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick. We live out of state, but chose to wed in Rhode Island since the bulk of my partner's family was from there while mine was scattered all over. Though we contacted a few different venues, we ultimately thought the Crowne was our best choice. We loved the look of the Atrium from the get-go from their website photographs, but after speaking with them, we also felt they were the best fit because their pricing was so reasonable for what they offered. It helped us tremendously to not have to coordinate and juggle multiple different vendors to do our cake, table/chair/linen rentals, catering, etc. Not only that, they were a hotel, which meant the many out of town guests from my side could get rooms at the hotel and have one less place for which to figure out traveling.
There is a food/beverage minimum with their wedding package, but I think if your guest list is around 100 or more, you will meet it pretty easily. We had under a 100 but I was more than okay with this because I was able to add more open bar time for our guests to make our minimum.
Maria, our initial coordinator, was awesome and prompt about answering any of our questions, and things continued as smoothly when we had our coordinator change hands to Meghan when Maria left. She was just as friendly, helpful, and prompt. We felt comfortable peppering her with questions, and sometimes just getting advice on what to expect on the wedding day. My partner's mother gave us so much credit for all the work we did planning the wedding, but honestly, with so much of it done through the Crowne, I felt like we really got off easy from the whole process. On the day of, the room looked absolutely beautiful and Talia and Meghan set up the room exactly as we had requested.
Is it possible we could have had a cheaper wedding somewhere else? Perhaps. We had briefly entertained doing a backyard wedding before, and that likely would have saved money. But I really think we would have paid for that equally just in time, stress, and mental toll! So it really can come down to what matters most to you.

The Crowne Plaza
From the very beginning, coordinating with The Crowne Plaza was a breeze. From room reservations to small details, they left no stone unturned. Maria and Meaghan worked with us tirelessly to ensure that our perfect day was nothing short of pure magic. The food was excellent, even better than we experienced at the tasting and other events. All through the day and night, we were catered to and treated in such high fashion that we felt a little like royalty. We really appreciated the attentive detail that everyone from the banquet manager to the servers/waitstaff showed us. We are especially grateful to Clarence for being understanding but yet professional. It was truly appreciated at the end of a long but joyous day. All in all, we cannot thank The Crowne Plaza for making our special day absolutely perfect.

My husband and I had our reception here on July 1, 2017. Prior to booking the Crowne Plaza, we searched all over Rhode Island, and although I never pictured myself having my wedding here, we couldn't have been any happier. I am the most detail-oriented planner, however, I was put at ease immediately to realize Samantha was exactly the same way. When it came closer to the wedding, and I was stressed, Samanthat and Maria both reassured me that it would be perfect, and it ABSOLUTELY was. We chose the Crowne, because they gave you so much in your wedding package, that no other venue could beat. They even design whatever wedding cake you would like. Our reception was held in the tent, and it was everything I imagined and more. Not only was everyone raving about the food, but they couldn't stop complimenting about how beautiful the wedding was. Every single detail was taken care of, and I didn't have one worry or thing go wrong the entire evening. If I could do it all over again, I would 1000% choose the Crowne Plaza again. If you want your wedding to be everything you imagined, without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. Samantha and Maria were the absolute best, and I would recommend them planning any event.-

We just got married at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick this past October. It was absolutely perfect! The staff at the Crowne Plaza are extremely accommodating. They respond to emails and phone calls right away and they are happy to answer any of the million questions you may have. Maria, Samantha and Crystal truly have a passion for their jobs and it is reflected in the service they provide. My husband and I have zero complaints, we just wish we could do it all over again! -

I won't lie, I was VERY reluctant to have our wedding in a hotel. But with 65% of our guests traveling in Chicago and Israel, it just made sense, so I went to view the Atrium Room at my parents' request/pressure. My then-fiance and I were only in RI for a weekend and had already seen four venues and had two others scheduled for after our tour at the Crowne Plaza, but we ended up canceling the last two immediately! We walked in the Atrium room and both immediately agreed that this was "the place" we would be married. It is BEAUTIFUL, and does NOT have that "hotel" feel at all. We also received many compliments on how delicious the food was. My dad and husband are still trying to figure out how all the filet mignon came out identically and perfectly cooked. Our guests were all also pleased with their rooms and impressed that an "airport" hotel was so nice.
Samantha Marold and her staff were also great to work with. I was planning from Chicago so it was a blessing to have Sam, Maria and Crystal on the ground in RI. They were all responsive, professional and really on the ball. My emails were replied to in a timely fashion, and they were flexible with accommodating me for the few in person meetings we had when I happened to be in RI. The day-of was executed flawlessly. I didn't have to worry or think about a thing- it was all done, and done well! I've never had to plan a wedding before, but can say with certainty that having my wedding at the Crowne Plaza made it a breeze! -

The Crowne Plaza has been both professional, kind, flexible, and impressive right from the start. The staff does an amazing job of helping brides visualize their perfect day. The packages this venue offers are also better than any in the area. From our consolations, private tasting and quick responses to all of our questions I can say with great pleasure and confidence that I know my wedding day is going to be PERFECT. -

Our wedding was on 9/17/16 in the Crowne's Pavilion and everything about the Crowne exceeded our expectations. I wanted an elegant tent wedding without the oceanside price tag and the Crowne delivered exactly that! I can't thank their wedding coordinator Samantha enough for all of her time and attention. She was such a help while planning and her calm, confident demeanor made me really relaxed throughout the 10 month process, I knew I was in good hands and that she'd make sure my vision came to life. Every detailed was managed perfectly by her. We were so pleased with everything the Crowne had to offer - from rooms for our guests, to late night snacks, even a grand piano! The venue went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes and we are forever grateful for the wedding night they created for us. -

Loved working with the Crowne! We had our reception in the Pavillon tent outside and the decor was stunning! Working with Samantha at the end was great, she made sure that we had everything that we needed and really took care of us that day! She even worked with our florist afterwards to replace my mother's bouquet after it was accidentally thrown away. The food was amazing, all of our guests are still talking about how well done the night was! We couldn't have asked for a better night! -

My husband and I had our wedding reception here a couple weeks ago. Our experience was nothing short of fantastic. We planned our wedding in just under a year, and the Crowne - especially Janet Pagan, Director of Special Events - was wonderful every step of the way. Janet answered any and all questions I had in a timely manner, and sat down with us more than once to go over the menu. She is very patient and detail-oriented. Every guest we have spoken with post-wedding raved about the food, particularly the al dente penne with pink vodka sauce. We had close to 400 guests, several with food allergies (gluten free, dairy free, shell fish allergies) as well as a few vegetarians and vegans. I have received feedback from several of those guests who praised the way the food was handled specifically for them. I would recommend the Crowne to anyone looking for a wedding reception no matter how small or how large your guest list. You will not find better food, service, or value anywhere else. Janet the head director was literally the most helpful, nice, caring individual we have talked to about wedding venues. She worked within out budget to give us exactly what we wanted. Crowne Plaza was exceptional! We used Crowne Plaza for our Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner location, as well as our Ceremony and Reception location.
Everything was beautiful. In fact, many guests have said our wedding was the nicest wedding they have ever been to! Several guests have said it was the best wedding food they have ever had!
Janet and Jessica were great to work with. Very accommodating and helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions with ease.
Janet is actually what (or who!) initially sold me on Crowne for our wedding venue. She was so real and so easy to talk to. It was like I had known her for years and as if we were friends! Every meeting and conversation was so comfortable.
The location was beautiful and everything looked great! For a winter wedding, it is hard to find much ambience in New England, but Crowne did the job well!
We even had to change our wedding date (my husband is in the service) about 6 months prior to the initial wedding date and Janet accommodated us without a single glitch. She made it as painless as possible!
Very, very pleased! Would do it all again in a heart beat! -

My daughter had the perfect wedding at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Crossings!! The facilities are lovely and I was proud to encourage my guests to stay at the hotel. Even though there were 3 other weddings at the same time, our event got the attention that was deserved and required. Living in NJ, I was concerned about making all of the arrangements long distance but Janet Pagan and her staff made the process effortless. I was able to make adjustments to the event package and menu to suit my budget and the needs of my guests. My daughter is a chef and the food lived up to her high standards... everything was delicious! Every detail was cared for with precision and the entire staff... captains, servers and bartenders... did a wonderful job! -

The Crowne Plaza did an amazing job!!! I loved working with the wedding team and the staff. I felt like they went out of their way to make my day special and seamless. They were available whenever I needed them - before the wedding, during the wedding, and even after the wedding. They were fantastic!
The food was delicious, the wedding rooms were beautiful, and the guest rooms were great. They executed everything to a T. They were very accomodating for allergies and special needs. At one point, we needed some extra hands and they were right there to lend them. They definately made me feel like a "Crowne princess".
I highly recommend them and would use them again. -

We had our ceremony and reception at the Crowne Plaza. Janet and her staff were amazing. She was always available by phone and email to answer any questions I had. She reviewed every little detail with us to make sure our day was perfect. We were able to have our wedding in the Rotunda room making the rain outside not matter.
They met every one of our needs including setting up our centerpieces and having a staff member help guests sign our gallery wrap. The catering staff was able to accommodate food allergies, even making a special cake for the bride and groom. The staff was attentive to me the entire day and even to my guests needs.

My finace` and I came to Blueberry Cove to elope! Seely was a great help! She went to the beach with us to marry us. She made a wonderful little wedding cake and incorperated our requests. We also hired a photographer and a car with a driver for our special day. Seely took the time to work with everyone to ensure things went as planned. We had a beautiful ceremony cliff side across from the Point Judith Light House. With a champagne toast and Seely even helped with the pictures! She brought a towel for us to sit on and assisted the photographer. The breakfasts were amazing! I was so glad we stayed 2 nights so we could eat breakfast twice! The first day was waffles which were outstanding, the second orange french toast made with crissants! Both days endless coffee, and juice, and yummy yogurt with apples and granola! Thank you Seely we could not be happier with our wedding weekend! I recommend the elopement package at Blueberry cove Inn. It is really affordable compared to anything else I could find. The room was very quiet, clean and relaxing! The bed was very comfortable. They have wi fi and a computer you can use as well as a tv in the room we stayed in. Thank you again! We can't wait to visit again. Hopefully when it is warmer weather! -

I used the Crowne Plaza for my ceremony and reception. We had both take place in the Rotunda room with over 125 guests. Dealing with Janet the coordinator was amazing. She was super helpful and made the planning a breeze. I never had to worry about anything because the Crowne takes care of it all. Linens, chairs, china, cake, meals, drinks you name it! My wedding was truly amazing and everything my husband and I wished for. Janet and her assitant Zac were great. They made us feel at ease that everything would be taken care of and it was. All the staff was very attentive to our needs and all our guests commented on how beautiful and conveinient the venue was. We had many out of town guest who stayed right there at the hotel and they were thrilled to be able to stay right on the property. The Crowne Plaza was amazing! The staff, the food, everything was perfect for our wedding day. I could not imagine our wedding at another location.
We had an issue with one of our centerpieces breaking in the middle of the reception and this was cleaned up so quickly.
We even had a "captain" assigned to us, who was serving us all night, our food and drinks. It was just wonderful.
Also it was so convenient for our out of town guests to stay and they got a great rate!
We loved the venue! We knew it was the place at our first visit. -

The staff at the Crowne is absolutely wonderful! We were working closely with our coordinator all along and she was such a joy. Unfortunately, she left the hotel weeks before our wedding. When I heard the news I was was worried, but they didn't miss a beat. Zac picked up where she left off and Peggy joined in to help. They followed through with promises Michele had made to us without any problems. I left detailed instructions on how to set up all of the (many!) decorations two days before the wedding, and they executed it all perfectly. From start to finish, they all made planning our wedding a dream!
The food at our wedding was incredible. Six months later, people are still telling us that the Crowne provided the best wedding food they've ever had. The service was exceptional, and our maitre d was fantastic. He took our drink orders immediately following the ceremony and anticipated our every need until the moment he walked us up to our hotel room at the end of the night.
At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to have our wedding at the Crowne Plaza becuase I wanted something more offbeat, but the lovely staff and amazing wedding package definitely changed my mind. I couldn't be happier with my decision! -

I’m pretty much a Crowne groupie. Our reception was in the Atrium and I loved that it gave us an outside feel but indoors, as one of my friends put it. From day one, I was hooked on Crowne. I originally worked with Michele for about 1.5 years! She was awesome, but sadly, a few months before the wedding, left Crowne. I was not happy but Peggy is amazing and swept right in without batting an eye. Zac is also awesome, as is Jessica who was our room block go-to person. Jessica helped me move guests into the block whenever they forgot to book within it which no complaints.
As for the reception – it was great. Crowne’s package sells itself in my opinion. It has everything! People have commented to me about how much food there was – and it was all delicious! Each course from hors d’oeuvres to the cake was great – and plentiful. They have an ice sculpture in the package, which we totally didn’t need, but we had a “knot” – completely Matt’s choice. A nod to tying the knot and also, his love of ships and pirates and whatnot. It looked great. The Crowne staff executed our vision perfectly – all decorations or small touches we brought they placed perfectly

I don't know if I can even put into words how beyond fabulous Michele, Zac, Janet, Peggy, Mike, and even Meg ( :) ) were during the entire planning process. We started working with them in August of 2007 and we always felt like we were the only couple planning an event there. We never once felt like we were just a number, even though the Crowne pumps out many, many events each month. Turning over control was a bit tough for this type A girl but I knew, everything would be wonderful, and it was more than we ever expected. Our guests raved all night about the food, the staff, the venue, and how smoothly everything went. Without Michele and her staff, we & our guests would not have had the fabulous experience that we had. I look forward to planning future events with the Crowne Plaza! -

From our first encounter to beyond our wedding, Michele Strobel and her team of professionals have been responsive, accommodating and effective in delivering service of the highest caliber. We utilized the Grand Ballroom and foyer for our cocktail hour and wedding reception, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. When we asked for flexibility with the menu, Michele and Chef joined us in creating a distinctively personalized and delicious menu - Our wedding was themed based on our Irish and French backgrounds--and the chef worked with us to create authentically Irish hors d'ouvres, including smoked salmon with dill cream atop rounds of Irish soda bread, lambchop lollipops and mini ruebens...the bar was complete with the additions of Guinness and Harp lager and thanks to Tom of "Art in Ice," (a partner of the Crowne Plaza), we had a unique Ice sculpture in the shape of a claddagh... Our reception meal was also personalized, as the chef took recipes from my late father and incorporated them into the meal. In addition to the reception venue, the Crowne was the home-base for us for over a week, and for many of our guests. The intimate breakfast buffet in the Newport Room on the morning following the wedding was an added bonus, planned completely by Michele. The entire staff, including Zac, Michele's assistant and Peggy, from the front desk, attended to our every need and treated us like family. We were sad to leave--and look forward to returning soon for a visit. So, in total, this venue is top notch--we highly recommend it for any occasion---from the food, to the venue, to the lodging and the personnel--this hotel is absolutely flawless! We congratulate all on a job well done. -

Excellent service! We had a traditional Indian ceremony here and the staff are incredibly well-informed about the intricacies of hosting such a wedding and are incredibly attentive to all your needs. Our guests loved the venue as well which is convenient (close to airport, close to other needs such as a mall, salons, etc) and offers a variety of rooms for the typical multi-event Indian wedding. -

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The sales and catering department was extremely helpful and patient through everything! The food was excellent, the reception room was absolutely beautiful, the service was great, and the wedding cake they provided me was amazing! They also offer great packages that include everything from h'our dourves and open bar for the first hour, an ice scuplture, wine for the table, champagne, all of the food, and the wedding cake. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a upscale wedding reception at a reasonable price. -

We had our rehearsal dinner and reception at the Crowne and couldn't be happier. There were other weddings going on that weekend but we still felt that we were given great attention. The food was great, our guests rave that it was just the best wedding. We worked with Samantha and she was so helpful, sweet and attentive. I would recommend this venue to anyone! -

Our wedding reception was in the Rotunda Room at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, Rhode Island. I loved the room, especially with the uplighting provided by our DJ company; however, the room in which our cocktail hour was held was a small, windowless room that lacked color. I worried that it was less than attractive and comfortable for our 150 guests.
According to our guests, the food was good. Although I cannot comment on this as we did not eat at the reception. One plus was that the venue actually offered cake service, which was a convenient for a very busy bride that didn’t get hung up on the details of the cake! Other than the cake cutting, I didn’t actually eat the cake, but guests enjoyed it and it was elegant in appearance.
We worked with Joanne, who was professional and to the point. The event staff was professional and friendly. Overall, I would recommend the Rotunda room at the Crowne Plaza. Just make sure to consider uplighting as it really enhanced the room’s dark features.

My husband and I could not be happier that we had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Crowne Plaza. All the staff that I came across at the Crowne, from the servers to the front desk people to the event planning staff were amazing, helpful, and so friendly. Janet (wedding coordinator) and her assistant Jessica were the most helpful and professional people to deal with. My husband and I lived in Florida, but wanted to get married where I am from and where all my family is. Planning from far away was not easy, but Janet and Jessica made it so painless. They gave advice whenever I asked, but were very flexible with us on our must haves, which most places aren't. We had about 80 guests and used the atrium room for our reception. The room looked absolutely stunning. Our ceremony was supposed to be on the back patio off the atrium room, but last minute we had to move it inside due to rain. Jessica and Janet took care of making the decision to move it inside, so I didn't have to be bothered or worried about making the decision, which I truly appreciated. And they made sure that the ceremony room was set up beautifully, with not one detail missed. The food for the reception was delicious. My grandfather has celiac disease, meaning he can't have wheat or gluten products and they made full accommodations to make sure he could eat, and even made him is own flourless chocolate cake for dessert. I could not be happier with the way our wedding day came out and am so happy we made the choice we did. Would definitely recommend this place to any bride who wants to be worry free! -

Great Experience
I got married on 10/26/19 and it was the best day of my life! I started my wedding process with Maria, but she accepted a new position. The events team at the Crowne Plaza was fabulous to work with! Janet Pagan (Director of Special Events) and her assistant, Jessica, made the planning process so easy and stress free! Both were very responsive and willing to accomodate. During the planning process, Janet was very helpful and honest, offering suggestions for vendors and planning the menu. The entire staff is very professional and friendly and the hotel is gorgeous - very classy without being stuffy!
The Crowne also provided my cake and ice sculpture - all I had to do was find a picture of both (and determine flavor of the cake) and the Crowne made it happen! Both were exactly what I picked out (and the cake was delicious)!
One feature that stood out to me over other venues was that the Crowne hosted a menu tasting for couples to sample literally EVERY appetizer, soup, entré, cake, and even wine offered - and all of it was SO GOOD!
I would without a doubt 100% recommend the Crowne Plaza (and working with Janet!) to every bride out there! -

Atrium Wedding
We absolutely loved having our wedding here. We originally book for 10/02/2020 but decided to reschedule to 05/28/2021 and Talia our wedding coordinator was the best. She made sure everything was perfect, worked closely with our other vendors and made our vision come to life. We got so many compliments from our guests on how professional and good everything turned out. The Atrium is a gorgeous modern space and our wedding turned out better than we could have ever imagined. -

We held our reception in the Atrium at the Crowne Plaza and it was a fantastic space that definitely matched what we wanted for our wedding. Besides some communication issues at one point, the staff was overall very helpful and friendly throughout the process. And their costs for everything were great! What started out as a nightmare, was SAVED by their coordinator Jessica St. Denis. She gets 10 stars for the work, accommodations, flexibility, responsiveness and professionalism. Before she stepped in as my coordinator I was drowning, but she really saved the day. The space was gorgeous and everyone loved the food. The wedding itself was amazing. The planning process was terrible and thats why I cannot give 5 stars, however if Jessica was my coordinator the whole year of planning, I would have! -

The rotunda room is very nice.
They have a problem where you can't fit more than 250 people in a room without paying a large surcharge to hire a fire marshall to stand by. They, of course, advertise a larger capacity, which is a bit of a bait and switch.
The bridal suite is also not that nice. Recommend traveling into Boston or Providence to a nicer hotel for the couple. -

Good choice for our wedding venue
When searching for a venue we wanted something centrally located with parking and hotels attached. The Crowne Plaza was a perfect match. We originally wanted a date in October on a Saturday but they were completely booked so we settled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving which was fine. We chose the Grand ball room because we knew we had a large guest list. A few mistakes were made during our appointments for food tastings but they were resolved resulting in us making extra trips in which our coordinator was apologetic. On the day of the wedding everything was set up perfectly and the 2 women that were assigned to my husband and I to get us drinks and make sure we had everything we needed were amazing. The food wasn’t anything to brag about but we realized that once we had our food tastings. The one thing I was very upset about was our cake. It tasted delicious but I had paid an extra hundred dollars for blush pink fondant (I sent a picture) When I walked into the room for my announcement the first thing I could see was our cake which had HOT pink fondant on it. The picture I showed was such a light shade of pink it was almost white. We had a beautiful cake topper and many pictures with the cake in it which I am embarrassed of. After the wedding, family members asked about the cake and knew it had to of been an error because it was never something I would’ve chose. Other than that, the night was great and so was the staff.-

We used Crowne for our guest room block and rehearsal dinner. Overall, they were good. The food was decent but pricey and the representatives were easy to work with. However, internal communication seems to be a little bit of a problem. We had many guests with issues booking their rooms, and it seemed that no one other than the reps assigned to our block could even see the block existed. Many guests were also forced into booking two nights initially when that was not a requirement. All issues were eventually resolved. -

I was so excited when I first started planning with Crowne Plaza...as the wedding got closer my planner and I had SEVERAL issues with Janet returning emails and phone calls...We were also not told that there would be an opening in the tent that was "fully heated and air conditioned" the heat did not work and it took two hours for them to close the opening and use the actual doors. They were very good at sales but awful at following through. Even though our night was still fun and the food was great there were things that could have been handled in a more professional manor. -

They ruined my wedding
First they broke one of my centerpieces, but didn't call me so I could bring something to fix it. Then they broke a hanging glass ball with candle and lied to me said it was broke in bag where I carefully wrapped each one in alot of bubble wrap. I knew it was a lie because I found a piece of glass on table. This caused me to have to spend extra time I did not have fixing the things. Unfortunately it was pouring rain and thunderstorm with lightening that day. We had told them we did not want the private room for the wedding party to go in when we got there. We just wanted to mingle with the guests. She took it upon herself to set one up anyway. So I ate one hors d'oeuvre and ran to my room to use bathroom and take my shoes and nylons off to put pedis on my feet for dancing it took like 7 minutes. But when me and my maid of honor got back to the room the door was locked. The venue lady grabbed me for the pictures. Photographer was waiting but I totally forgot all of out bouquets we're locked in that room. The photographer was horrible. Didn't pose us did barely any shots. I suggest not to go through Snapper Photography. Anyway my head is spinning. He should of asked if we had flowers so then I would remember. None of my pictures had my homemade bouquets in them. Then during the reception a server who I asked to turn up the AC cuz it was hot in there. Starts telling me she was hot too because she was going through menopause. I was not impressed. The Baker did not decorate the cake the way I asked and put these ugly swirl large color frosting up the side to the top. With the absolute Wrong Color. Didn't match Anything. Plus they give you two choices of cupcakes for guests and none of them were decorated at all. We cut cake but no one brought out plates and basket of forks to serve our wedding cake so we completely forgot. It was just one thing after another and the coordinator. Refused to give me Any Compensation 😓😓😓😓😓 -

When we got to the room, there was neither the bar or tub. They switched our room to one with a jacuzzi but still no bar. By the time we got back to the room at midnight, we tried to go in the tub and it wasnt working! It was dirty as all hell, 2 jets were missing and the on/off knob! It was too late to have it fixed too. Almost every guest that stayed overnight had their rooms switched also. They unpack in one room then get told they have to change rooms! During the 1 hour open bar they give you, they scam you. They take a half hour to get everyone a drink so you only have time for one. By the time we tried to order a second drink they told us no we had to line up to be introduced. They promised us 2 bottles of wine for each table in the reception and we didnt get them. They came around and offered it, when a guest asked for the server to leave the bottle he wouldn't. He was suppose too though!! We did not get the white glove service as promised either. But after all the bad stuff, the food was excellent and the cake was the best cheesecake i have ever eaten!!!! I would recommend the crowne plaza but just make sure your hotel room meets your expectations and make sure you compare the package your suppose to get with the contract before you give a deposit. Thats where we messed up. They say in your package they leave bottles of wine on the table, then in the contract they jumble the words and say it is "offered" to each table. So please if you or someone you know is getting married there, take the time to really study the contract! -

If not getting married on site, look elsewhere
When my (now) husband and I started the search for a hotel for our guests, our venue listed The Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick as one of their preferred vendors. We met with Crystal onsite and she was absolutely lovely; showed us around, explained how they were going through renovations and explained our contract top to bottom. Sadly our venue was incorrect and had outdated information; they no longer provided shuttles to the Warwick Country Club, since it was just outside of their radius for that service - eh no big we would figure that part out later.
Once everything was settled we went on our way, contacted signed and dated. As we were about to send our Save the Dates, we were provided a little card from the hotel to give our guests about directions, pricing, etc. When we received them, the pricing seemed funny but did add up to the total we agreed upon so we just thought that's how it was meant to look (our fault for not asking then and there).
About a week or so later a few family members starting contacting me asking why the pricing on the card (lower amount) was not what was being charged (higher amount) when they called to book the hotel. I scrambled to call Crystal but received her assistant Talia instead. She explained that higher pricing is correct and said that's how it should have been explained when my guests called the hotel. I informed her no, that isn't what is being explained and asked how they planned on fixing it. Talia explained I can either call ALL of my guests or she would send me new cards to mail out to ALL of my guests with the higher pricing explained. I said neither, that's not correct since they goofed the pricing and I understood we didn't catch it but that's just poor customer service. She said those were my only options and left me with that. My (now) husband luckily got in touch with Crystal who noticed Talia did the pricing wrong on the card, fixed it to match the (lower) pricing, amended our contact to match and profusely apologized. 10 points for Gryffindor!
We moved on from that and said "things happen" but little did we know it was just the start of the hot mess express....
Whenever we spoke to the hotel we had to go thru Talia, who never gave our messages to Crystal. Who then would follow up with emails asking why we haven't gotten back to her. We'd explain we did and just that Talia didn't hand over said messages. That just make a bigger CF when trying to get in touch with people.
We were contacted a few times before we even sent out our invites asking when we could release our rooms; which I understand after the fact a wedding party fell through and the hotel had to eat the costs but constantly asking when we could release rooms before people have even fully booked was just pushy/rude. They had two conferences that needed rooms and ours were holding up their desire to book and they seemed to be more important.
We dealt with two other women regarding breakfast coupons, Meghan and Laura. Meghan was lovely when we spoke via email but then handed off our request to Laura who was subpar with responses. Still to this day 0 response asking if she got our authorization form and asking if we can just pick them up when we arrive (spoiler: they did get the form and we got the coupons when we checked in but only after the man at the front desk scrambled around for a good 5-10mins looking for them all while repeatedly saying "I have something for you, hold on, they are here somewhere...")
Once we are fully checked in, we pop up to our room and luckily on the lovely renovated floor. In our room I look to hang up my wedding gown and there is 0 places to hang it. So we kept the trolly so at least it wasn't all smashed in the tiny closet.
Following day we get the keys to the connecting suite, once again, I go to hang up my dress and 0 places for it to be hung. At this point all I can do is laugh. Finally we find ONE near the windows (hidden behind the valance). Great. Good. Away we go. My bridesmaid notices that the hook is so high up, half my dress is covered, so we go to the front desk to see if they can unscrew it and re-screw it down lower. Explain everything at the front desk and same man who had issues finding out breakfast coupons, explains they hung that SPECIAL just for me, shrugs and doesn't see what else they really can do. I ask if they can send someone up to look and he agrees to that.
Enter Mark (the engineer, as he was called) very kind, young and slightly clueless. He processed to use black electrical tape and put two wrenches together, loop it onto the hook them my gown (on the hanger). He is VERY happy/pleased and exists the room. My bridesmaid and I laugh until tears are running down our face, remove it and heard to Target. Luckily we found zip-ties that did the trick over the provided two, taped together wrenches.
The morning of the big day, photographer, make-up and flowers struggled to locate us because the front desk had 0 idea which room we were in (granted we were in one suite getting ready, where the men were in another but they said they'd put notes on the rooms to help guide our vendors - guess not).
There was also no mirrors (only in the bathroom) very limited lighting, but luckily hair/make-up were pros and could work in anything and that all went off without a hitch.
In the end of this journey my (now) husband and I agreed overall it was just Meh. The site, rooms and dealing with some people (i.e. Crystal) in person are absolutely lovely. But their main focus is on site conferences and/or on site weddings. It seemed like we were more a bother than welcomed guests. In the end, if you are looking to get married on site, go for it. If you are just using the hotel as a place to get ready/have guests stay, look somewhere else. -

TERRIBLE ... so many issues it won't let me put them all it's too long! We tried to work our issues out within a Crowne Plaza and we were offered an overnight stay or 3 $50 gift cards to their restaurant to replace all the stress, emotional issues and the money loss. Do not recommend to any couple -
