The suite was beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. All requests were promptly attended to. No complaints and we would come here again!

We had a wonderful experience at the Crowne in Cleveland at Playhouse Square. Daneel was especially helpful and answered all of our questions. We even changed our floor plan the week of the wedding and she was so accommodating!

We had our wedding here 11/06/21 after pushing back our 06/05/21 wedding due to COVID. Daneel and the team made it so incredibly easy and beautiful. We loved the banquet staff and got so many compliments on the food. The bridal suite is a DREAM, and the guest rooms and location are also perfect!

We stumbled upon the Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square after having to find a new venue for our September 2020 reception in January - and I am so glad that we did! From day one, Daneel, Gayle and the staff at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square have been nothing but courteous, professional and so helpful. Daneel was always quick to respond to our seemingly never-ending list of questions. On our wedding day, Daneel was very present and checked in us to make sure that we had everything that we needed.
The setup of the reception was beautiful - we are still waiting on our professional pictures, but Daneel and her staff took my unorganized list of ideas and signs and organized them so that everything was PERFECT for our reception. Our food was AMAZING (special shout out to chef!!) and all of our guests were raving about ALL of the options (salmon, steak and vegan ravioli). Daneel had champagne and orange juice brought up to the bridal suite while the girls were getting ready (which is MASSIVE and boasts gorgeous views of downtown) as well as a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a gift waiting for us once the night was ending. It is very clear that Daneel takes pride in her profession and I am so glad that her and the entire staff at the Crowne Plaza were able to play such a pivotal role in ensuring that our reception was flawless! All of our guests had so much fun and everyone had glowing reviews of the staff, food and venue.

We ended up having our reception at the Crowne Plaza by chance and it truly turned out to be the biggest blessing in disguise. If you're thinking about booking at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square - stop thinking and DO IT! You will not regret it!

My son and daughter-in-law were married at the Crowne Plaza Playhouse Square on December 28, 2019. It was an absolutely perfect wedding! The ballroom was beautiful, the food was great and everyone truly cared about the wedding and the bridal couple. The servers at the wedding were particularly caring of each and every guest. Daneel McDaniel, the Catering Sales Manager and our contact for the wedding, went out of her way to personally ensure everything was done as requested and planned. She is experienced with weddings, understands the issues, made sure of all details, was a pleasure to work with, always returned calls promptly and followed through with everything. She is a wonderful asset to the hotel and to any couple planning a wedding.
It was a perfect day and a perfect weekend thanks to everyone at the Crowne Plaza. We highly recommend Daneel and the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse Square!

If you are looking for an all-in-one, stress-free wedding and/or reception experience, Crowne Plaza is the best choice in downtown Cleveland. Daneel and the dedicated staff at the Crowne Plaza have EVERYTHING covered in a beautiful, renovated venue with a great location.
My husband and I are both from the Cleveland area but live in Salt Lake City, Utah. We decided to get married in Ohio because that is where most of our family and many of our friends still live. Our parents visited many venues in and around the city for us when we first got engaged in 2018, but none were the total package for what we were looking for in planning a wedding from across the country.
When we visited for Christmas that year, my husband found the Crowne Plaza online, which was a venue neither of our parents had seen before. We were able to visit the next day and immediately knew that it was the place for us. Daneel, the wedding coordinator, was experienced, knowledgeable and very patient. The ballroom was gorgeous and had a beautiful view of Playhouse Square. The bridal suite was outstanding. It included a large living/dining area with its own bathroom attached to a private master suite with its own bathroom including a large vanity, jacuzzi tub, and shower. On our wedding day, we had more than enough room for both the groomsmen and the bridesmaids to all get ready together but still separated, with the guys in the bedroom and the girls in the living and dining area. My maid of honor had an adjoining room to our suite which was more than convenient and was a perfect place to keep my dress hidden from my fiance.
Along with the outstanding accommodations, Daneel was wonderful to work with and took care of almost all of the wedding details! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the hotel and the only thing we had to book ourselves was our photographer, entertainment and officiant. Daneel had great recommendations for these vendors and experience working with many of them, too.
After booking the Crowne Plaza, there were no "bridezilla" moments or arguments about silly details in any of our planning. This was in large part because Daneel had everything we needed to do organized, taken care of, and planned out in a timeline.
I was only back in Ohio for a weekend after booking the Crowne Plaza and it was for my bridal shower. That is when we had our food tasting with the AMAZING chef at the Crowne Plaza and cake tasting at Wild Flour Bakery, (which is included in the Crowne Plaza Wedding Package).
When our wedding weekend finally came in December 2019, we had no stress or worries and everything went perfectly. Our party of 130 friends and family had a wonderful time and couldn't say enough good things about their stay and how much they enjoyed our special day.

We had our dream wedding at the Wyndham in Playhouse Square. First off, we looked at a lot of venues and this was the best value. So much is included in your wedding package. You spend a lot of money on your wedding day, and it felt like they actually appreciated it and included many extra perks including the presidential suite for 2 nights, extra rooms for the wedding night for your parents, your cake (from an amazing bakery!) and complimentary valet. Also, Jill was amazing to work with. You never get a sense that you are bothering her with questions and she is always on top of everything. I spent so much time planning little details for our reception and she put everything together exactly as I had envisioned it. We also got so many compliments on the actual venue.. the ballroom is gorgeous and overlooks the chandelier and playhouse square sign. Lastly, the food is AMAZING. We had so many people say that they had never had food that good at a wedding, it is truly restaurant quality.. people were so impressed. My husband and I had a December wedding at the Wyndham. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The centerpieces were included as part of the price per person- such a great deal. Beth, the event coordinator, was so easy to work with. She was super responsive and knowledgeable. She was also flexible with our budget and things we wanted. We were able to do the reception and ceremony there- and we got multiple comments on how beautiful the venue was. The food was really good, as well. Plus, hotel weddings are convenient for guests so they can stumble up to their rooms after. I truly think this is the best value wedding in downtown Cleveland. We looked at other areas outside of downtown and it was about the same price. Highly recommend this venue.

What a dream our wedding was! Beth went way above and beyond for us. Planning was smooth - it was really nice to have so much guidance and we could tell that she really cared what we wanted and made it happen. The tasting was thorough and fun, our meetings with Beth always went well - she took detailed notes and promised the best. And she did not disappoint! The entire staff at Wyndham were wonderful (valets, front desk, etc.) and all of our decor looked beautiful the way Beth's team set it up. She really captured our vision and it was a stress-free week knowing that all was taken care of. The night was amazing - great bartenders, Beth running around making sure everything was running smoothly and all of our vendors had everything they needed, beautiful space, lovely night for cocktail hour on the patio... I could go on and on. Our guests loved the ease of having the reception in a hotel, too. Walkable area in the middle of Cleveland so people were able to go out the night before the wedding and nice being able to take an elevator upstairs to their rooms. And our honeymoon suite! Holy wow! Incredible view, HUGE room, we had an afterparty up there and there was more than enough space to accommodate a huge group without anyone needing to go into our separate bedroom or bathroom. Highly recommend.

We had our January ceremony and reception at the Wyndham Playhouse Square and it was simply wonderful. From our first meeting, Christina (the wedding specialist) reassured us, answered our myriad of questions and took exceptional care of every last request and detail. She was a calming presence for me during this whole process! The planning with Christina was easy and painless...the food was delicious (our guests are still raving), the service friendly and professional (we received a lot of feedback about how great the servers were), and the venue classy and comfortable. The banquet room is a unique space for a wedding hotel and can accommodate small, medium or large weddings. The hotel staff also was friendly and helpful - the front desk staff took such great care of our guests. It was so nice to have everything in one place, especially for a winter wedding in Cleveland - we got ready, had the ceremony and reception all at the hotel. I couldn't have asked for a more elegant, beautiful and enjoyable wedding day.

Beth at the Wyndham was great to work with. Professional and very helpful. We received many compliments on the food and the location at Playhouse made for gorgeous pictures both during cocktail hour on the Terrace and at the street level with the chandelier. Gorgeous!!

We booked over thirty rooms with the Wyndham Hotel for our wedding block and I would recommend this hotel. Candice was very helpful throughout the planning process. She kept my husband in the loop and answered all of our questions. We heard no complaints from our guests. They even accommodated my requests to give various rooms specific hotel bags. My husband and I stayed in one of the suites and had a gorgeous view of the chandelier and Playhouse Square. The room was the perfect way to end our wedding bliss. All rooms were clean, staff friendly, and the breakfast buffet was tasty. Thanks Wyndham for keeping our guest happy and comfortable.
