I was originally only looking at pre-loved gowns for my wedding when I met Kynda (owner) at the Wedding Expo. She asked why I wanted to go that route and assured me that my budget concerns would not hinder me from buying a new gown from her. I made an appt for after visiting 3-4 other consignment style vendors. I found dresses I did like at each one of those but ended up finding an even better *new* one within my budget when shopping at Crown Bridal!
Kynda was also my sales person and damn she is GOOD. Not only did she stay very late making sure I found just what I wanted, she guided me through the entire process making an overwhelming process simplified. She also let me make MY OWN decision without tainting my choice with her opinions which was great. The craziest part is that after I had settled on a gown, I asked her her opinion and I PICKED THE GOWN SHE HAD SECRETLY WRITTEN DOWN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE APPT!!! Talk about serendipitous but also showed me how amazing she is at her job! Also had great experiences with the other staff throughout my pickup/etc. -

I had an absolutely incredible experience at Crown Bridal! It was the first bridal shop I visited. It was such a positive experience, and I was blessed enough to say "Yes to the Dress"! I got the privilege to work with Kynda, the owner, and she is absolutely AMAZING! There was such a great variety of so many beautiful, affordable dresses. The staff there really helped me feel comfortable and special. They were also amazing in guiding me throughout the whole process. I could not recommend them enough. -

Crown Bridal was the absolute first place i should have gone wedding dress shopping at!! The environment there was absolutely insane. There were so many options to choose from and the amazing Kynda helped me pick the most amazing dresses and she found THE one I fell in love with. Her energy and skill in this industry made the process of finding and saying yes to my dress so easy. 10/10 recommend Crown Bridal!! -

I attended the Portland bridal expo, and that’s where I got my lovely beautiful dress either the worker that works for crown bridal or the volunteer of the expo event was very sweet. Very understanding. We are relatable experience because that volunteer worker that works for Crown bridal also was a cancer survivor and she told me that look amazing and I was gonna be a beautiful bride so that just like warm my heart to see that there’s still people in the world that generally care about people that are going through tragic events -

Was my first time trying on dresses and didn’t expect to find one so soon! They have such a broad range of styles and colors for gowns. I went in with a particular vintage style in mind, and was blown away when I found several vintage gowns. They don’t mark up dresses, but high makes them affordable compared to other stores! The customer service was AMAZING and they treated me like a true bride and not just trying to make a sale. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I said YES to my dream dress!!! -

Amazing, personalized experience
We had an outstanding experience at Cown bridal, and I can't thank Christy enough for her exceptional service. She gave my daughter undivided attention, patiently listened to preferences, and ultimately helped her find the perfect dress. Christy's expertise and professionalism made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. The personalized attention she provided truly made our visit memorable. I highly recommend this salon, especially with Christy as your salesperson, for a wonderful bridal shopping experience. -

From the moment my daughter stepped into Crown Bridal she was made to feel so special. Even though she had an idea of the Morilee Wedding dress she wanted Kynda made sure she tried many options just to be sure. She put my daughter at ease in her gorgeous shop which is also a Morilee Boutique for the Pacific Northwest. Crown Bridal has everything you need for the wedding party. It was wonderful my daughter was able to see Morilee bridesmaids, veils and even gorgeous Mother’s gowns for me. I would recommend this wedding experience to everyone. Thank you Kynda and everyone at Crown Bridal you are the best! -

This bridal salon was fabulous from start to finish. It was so cute when we walked inside and everything was explained to us before we started looking at dresses. Kynda my stylist and the owner was so invested in my experience and finding what worked for me. My entire group kept raving about what a wonderful experience that place was. 10/10 recommend. -

What can I say about Crown Bridal except WOW! Crown Bridal is the BEST place for brides, hands down. From start to finish, Kynda and her beautiful team (Tiffany, Mjay & Karina) were kind, attentive, and made such a big decision so much easier! When I got engaged back in 2020, I was so excited about everything, except dress shopping. Don’t get me wrong, I love clothes, but as a plus size bride, I was so worried that there would either be a limited selection of dresses for me to try on, or whatever was there would be out of date and not very flattering. I called into the salon with my concerns, and Kynda assured me that she had LOTS of plus size options, but also told me she could fit me into almost any size (within reason) to help find the perfect dress. I ended up booking the VIP appointment, (If you can ladies, do it! The store is closed for your appointment only, there is drinks and food, it is delightful), and Kynda helped me dry on dresses after dress, narrowing them down to my favorites. I have never felt SO beautiful in anything in my life when I found the one. She is SO good about reading your expression, emotions, and really hearing what you’re saying to find that perfect dress. I LOVED my dress right away, but felt it was missing that big WOW factor – more sparkles. Right away, she suggested an underskirt that could be sewn under the first layer to give the dress more sparkle and lace. It was the little touches like that that shows how much Kynda cares for her clients. I never felt rushed, or pushed, or like I didn’t matter in the salon. The whole process was easy, the dresses come in a wide range of prices for any bride’s budget, and the whole staff makes the whole experience feel like you’ve been friends for ages. I would 1000% percent recommend every bride goes here to for their dress!
We also used their tux service for the gentleman, Jim’s Formalwear, and that process was phenomenal as well! It was easy, and anyone who’s gotten married knows how hard it is to coordinate fittings with a large (or small) group of people. My now-husband and I sat down with the look books, decided on the looks, and then had all the measurements taken right there in the salon. When the suits came 3 days before the wedding, Kynda had all the gentleman try them on, and whatever didn’t fit quite right, she had a new piece overnighted so everyone was looking sharp and ready to go the morning of!
The whole process for both myself and my groomsmen was fun, and stress-free, and I felt so comfortable leaving everything in the salons hands. These ladies are so near and dear to my heart now, and it makes me sad I can’t get married again just to stop in and see them! Honestly, my photos doesn’t even do justice for how beautiful these pieces are! Thank you again Crown Bridal, you are truly the best -

I had the absolute best experience! Marivel, the associate I worked with, was amazing! I didn't feel pressured or pushed any which way and she really listened and stayed within my budget which I was worried about initially. Not only were the dresses beautiful, all the staff made myself and my two guests feel special and welcome. It is in downtown Vancouver so parking can be tricky but it's so worth it!Crown Bridal's reply:

Every Brides Wedding Dress Shopping Dream Experience
highly recommend Crown Bridal for not only their incredible selection of gowns, but for the atmosphere, and the exceptional customer service.
I had a blast looking for gowns! My Maid of Honor and I were pulling dresses along with my consultant MJ (who I will brag on later) There were multiple appointments going on, but each bride had their own area that included pedistool, full length surround mirrors, comfortable seating and a roomy dressing room. We were even given champagne as we looked through endless gowns. Amazing!!
Ok, let me tell you about MJ my personal consultant. This girl went above and beyond to assist me with dressing. I am not a size 0, I am 180lbs 5ft 7in tall. I have lost over 40lbs since July, still have 30 to 40 to go. MJ did whatever nessessary to stuff me in a dress that I liked. Don't get me wrong, they have sizes for everyone, there was just a couple that were on the smaller side. That did not deter MJ, she stuffed, pushed, pulled, jumped, wriggled, crawled on the floor, etc... she made sure that even if the dress was clearly too small, she would do little tricks so I could look beyond the fat and visualize myself in that dress. If you know wedding dresses, you know how heavy and insane they can be. MJ did this for almost 3 hours with me. No matter how many times I wanted a different veil, or sleeve, or whatever, MJ never fretted. She is amazing!
I had finally found my dress, but it was so expensive that I didn't think I could get it, but MJ left for a minute and came back with the owner. I can't gobim to detail about what was said since every situation is different, but the owner made it possible for me to get my dream dress. After 3 hours of no emotion, they were not going to let me leave without the one dress that made me cry.
I truly believe that they really are all about the bride. Its more than a profit to them. They want you to feel like you are the most beautiful women on your wedding day, and they will do whatever it takes to make that happen.
Now, this review is only for my appointment. I have not had my measurements or received my dress so I can only attest to the appointment of finding my dress. Anything could change, as I have seen before after the "sale" is made, but I have high hopes and confidence that I will be happy through it all.
If not, you will all know about it! I am huge on reviews and if I am moved good or bad, the world will know!

Update for 12/09/21- 1st Fitting Appointment
Today was my first fitting, but if you are wondering why the time is so spread out between appointments its because I am on a weight loss kick and they want to allow me more time before my final fitting. If you have no weight to loose then appointments will be super fast.
I just can't say enough good things about Crown Bridal. I have been in customer service for over 20 years and not only do I make sure I provide exemplary CS, but I expect it as well; especially in the Bridal market. Kynda (Owner and designer of my dress shown in the pic) and MJ (my/Bridal Consultant) are just so down to earth and laid back but at the same time so on point and professional. We were chatting and having a good Ole time, but when it came to my measurements it was all business. This was because they wanted to make sure my measurements were done perfectly.
Now, to get proper measurements you have to be dressed down to your undies. I know many women may feel uncomfortable in their own skin like I do right now, but I was not uncomfortable at all! Kynda was actually the one doing my measurements at this appointment as I believe it was a measurements training session for this particular dress. Either way there were two women in there with me, but I never felt uncomfortable at all! It was fast but extremely thorough. Anyways, because I am reviewing each session separately I need keep this short. Just know that so far I am extremely happy with Crown Bridal, and any Bride who wants their dress experience to be perfect needs to start their adventure here!

The store owner Kynda is absolutely amazing! I came to her after finding a dress from a box store I wasn’t in love with and only 60 days before my wedding. She helped me find thee most beautiful dress and veil!! We also could not find bridesmaids dresses due to COVID Kynda went above and BEYOND to get them here in 2 months time! If COVID wasn’t enough my alterations ladies husband passed two weeks before my wedding and was unable to complete my dress, again Kynda was there to save the day! Called multiple alterations people to get me squared away and I had my dress the altered and ready the week of my wedding!! Kynda all I can say is it shows you truly love what you do! I consider you family! You are hands down thee best! I will continue to recommend you to friends and family getting married. Thank you for all you have done! -

Crown bridal was the only place I went to for finding my dress. There was no expectation of me leaving with a dress, but after 13 dresses, 3 hours, a mom and grandma throwing suggestions, an indecisive bride, I found the dress and it was all do to Kynda. She knew what dress I was going to leave with before I did. She took her time and made me feel comfortable. I felt that she really cared about me and my big day whether I bought a dress or not. She’s amazing! One store is all it took and I wouldn’t change a thing. -
