GREAT venue! We really appreciated the ability to make our reception our own. We were able to have an outside social hour on arrival for guests to enjoy cocktails outside as we rented a canopy separately through another vendor. Our decor and food was well liked by all. Service could have been a little more efficient, but with 250 guests, to be expected with serving everyone. Definitely recommend having a layout for everything, as they are very detailed oriented and will follow your direction with planning.

Brian is great to work with! Really knows his stuff and is willing to work with what you would like. The decorations are fabulous and the food is awesome!

The Crow River Country Club venue is beautiful for a wedding and reception! The remodeled building makes the location so much better. We were able to have our entire wedding day at the Country Club with our ceremony being in the outdoor chapel and then our reception immediately following. Everything was gorgeous and our guests were pleased with the location and scenery. The food we had was delicious and was not typical "wedding food". We were very pleased with how it came out for all of our guests to enjoy. One downfall with the Country Club is the noise issues with the neighbors. We were not fully able to enjoy our dance because of this and were told we needed to end the dance early. I was very happy with everything else that was done but this was a huge damper for us.

The decorations we beautiful and the host was very accommodating. Because our wedding was larger (215 people) we had to place tables on the dance floor. There were not enough servers on staff the evening of our wedding to serve quickly as the front tables were finished the back were still waiting. As dinner went on the guests who were served first got bored, lost interest and we desired the head table (which was on the dance floor) to be taken down but there was not enough help as they were serving to do so. Some of our guests left as things did not progress as quickly as we'd liked. Also it was winter, and the venue very hot. We opened the door to the outside but were not allowed to do so as there are picky neighbors next door who complain about the noise. The door had been propped several times throughout the evening not by myself (the bride) personally and I was not aware. Finally the manager came up to me (in my wedding gown clearly marked as the bride) and sternly told me "That is the forth time the door has been propped, if we see it open a fifth we will 'pull the plug on the music and ask you to leave'" He was clearly upset but I was not aware the door had been propped and his irritation came out on me. The price was a bit steep for the amount of food served as it was portioned.
