Lovely and professional

This venue is absolutely stunning. From the indoor reception area to the outdoor ceremony space, every detail is spectacular. We searched high and low for a venue that checked all of the boxes. We wanted to stay away from the country barn style, but wanted a little touch of rustic charm. Keeping the catering and other venues within the budget also made a huge impact on our decision. Having Creekside in charge of everything made our day so much smoother. All I needed to worry about was decor, a timeline, and showing up to the alter. I stayed in the guest house the night before with my bridesmaids, and it was perfect! It has three bathrooms, several closets, five beds, mirrors, galore, and a kitchen. I used this space as the bridal suite, and it was everything I wanted. All of the amenities are great, but the owner's kind and honest demeanor was what sold us. From the beginning, Dan had everything organized and put together. We were provided a complete breakdown in price so we knew what we were paying and what we were going to receive before signing the dotted line. Complete transparency was not something we often came by on our search for the right venue. It was a breath of fresh air. When Covid-19 hit, Dan was understanding and allowed us to rescheduled. Our wedding party dropped off by 50%, and he was accommodating. It wasn't quite the turnout we anticipated, but they provided us with everything we needed and more. My photographer (Nowlens Photo Co.) was blown away by the creekside shots. I have to agree, it's stunning! Thank you to the Creekside staff for helping my family clean up after a wonderful evening. My husband and I both know a couple friends that have also married at this venue, and we highly recommend them, too!

Best venue, best price, best people

Creekside was amazing. My husband and I were looking for a venue that would work with us well. We were planning our wedding in the Austin area from out-of-state. Dan worked with us every step of the way. We had a meeting where we hammered a lot of details out. The rehearsal went well, and the wedding day was amazing. I felt like everything was taken care of and the day ran smoothly. The food was outstanding! We had Texas BBQ. The DJ did a great job at managing the reception time well.
I would say that everyone should book their wedding here. It was all around a great place to be at.

Guests loved the space and the food

Dan was great abouy walking us through all the options and aspects we should consider. He gave us great feedback and guidance. Staff was helpful and nonintrusive. We chose fajitas and they were a huge hit. The outdoor space is lovely. Manu options for where you want to have the officia ceremony on the grounds. Great value because most of the basics (tables, chairs, glassware, dishes, linens, bartender and food) available within contract.

We have had several events (company meeting) at Creekside. The staff is so easy to work with. They are experienced and guide you through. The food is always good and presented nicely.

Fantastic!

Creekside is a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding. My daughter loved the chandaliers inside and all the greenery outside. Having the house to get for hair and make up was perfect. Dan and his staff are absolutely the best and are with you every step of the way. Awesome experience!

Amazing Venue!

I am so happy with my choice to have my wedding at Creekside. From the very beginning Dan was a pleasure to work with. He was patient in working with us and answering all of our questions, and really I could not have asked for a better venue, service-wise. Not to mention the fact that it's a beautiful venue with a large capacity, and multiple options for ceremony location.

The value is exceptional too. They offer one-price everything included for up to 150 guests, and you pay per guest after that. We chose the BBQ dinner and it was fantastic! It's also BYOB which helps to cover some of the alcohol expenses.

The day of, they really provide you with everything that you need, you could really do without a coordinator with everything that they provide.

The only reservation I had about this location is the distance from Austin city-center, and knowing that people were drinking and needed to get home. Because of this I provided bus service for my friends and those staying in town, which worked well, but added a little bit of an expense.

I would not hesitate to recommend Creekside to anyone looking for an outside venue around Austin.

I cannot say enough good things about Creekside. Dan was amazing and his BBQ was absolutely delicious. He even put on his chef hat and helped serve the amazing food! The room is beautiful. It has beautiful chandeliers that made the room look very elegant. Our wedding was everything I could have dreamed of and more!

Dan and his team are TOP NOTCH. It rained on the day of our wedding and his team had my entire venue moved indoors in plenty of time, and the final set up still looked amazing. His staff was incredible and made the night go by seamlessly, allowing my husband, my family and I to relax and just enjoy the day. I cannot recommend this place enough! The wedding package that he offers can't be beat for the price, and the food provided is delicious. We had an absolutely amazing experience and am so glad we chose Creekside to host our wedding!

Our wedding at Creekside was just perfect from beginning to end! Dan was easy to work with and very quick to respond to any questions that we had. The venue is beautiful and the entire staff was friendly and willing to help. Thank you so much for everything!

We loved working with Creekside for our wedding. It was fantastic to find a place that had an amazing package deal. The venue is beautiful. On our wedding day as we were arriving early, a car with two sets of parents rolled down their window and asked me if I thought they should have their wedding at Creekside, and I will tell you exactly what I told them, I give Creekside my full and passionate endorsement. The team was friendly and I never worried once that we wouldn't be taken care of.

My husband and I worked with Dan and he was GREAT!!!!! He was so flexible and just an overall pleasure to work with. We both got really lucky when we found Creekside. It was an absolute gorgeous venue.

Creekside was absolutely amazing. Dan was a vital part of planning our wedding from day one. He helped us with any questions and was extremely prompt to respond. He was also very professional and helpful. The staff was incredible. They did so much to make our special day wonderful. The venue is stunning and perfect for a wedding. All our guests loved it and it provided them with beautiful scenery photos. We are very thankful to Creekside and the staff.

I will be recommending Creekside to EVERYONE I know planning a wedding. Creekside was the perfect venue, gorgeous outside ceremony site and an equally gorgeous reception hall. Dan is so extremely helpful and friendly, my wedding planning couldn't have been any easier thanks to him!

What I loved most about Creekside was that they provided pretty much everything in house! Catering, full staff, bar services, table/linens/chairs, glassware, appetizer options, and so much more - it was perfect for someone who isn't interested in working with numerous different vendors.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Creekside and Dan!

As a mom, you want everything to be perfect for you daughter's wedding especially when she's been dreaming about it most of her life. Perfection would be the word I would use to describe her wedding this last weekend at Creekside! Everything was literally perfect!! I'll start with the cottage we rented for the entire bridal party to stay at the night before and then have use of the next day for all the ladies to get ready. The kids had a great time, hung by the big fire pit, slept well on very comfortable beds and then we kicked the guys out the next morning and started to get ready. It was just a great experience! The staff were so very accommodating from the moment we walked in that morning, working around and with us as we set up table decorations all the way to the very end of the night!! I had not one worry all day because of the staff! The Food was delicious and the hand carved, (by Dan himself) juicy brisket and turkey were amazing. No one went hungry, that's for sure! The reception hall and ceremony site were beautiful. We picked this location because dear friends of ours were married there 3 years earlier and I helped the day of and worked with Dan and he was just calm and laid back which made me relax and he did it again last Sunday!! You will NOT be disappointed for choosing Creekside!!

Creekside was the perfect location for our October Nautical-themed wedding - thank you so much!!

As many Brides know, choosing a venue is not only one of the most stressful decisions, but it's one of the most important ones! We actually came to Creekside in a panic - our venue that we had originally picked (Rancho Cuernavaca, which turned out to be a sham!!) fell through and I was dead set on getting married on October 18th of this year. I had already called Dan at Creekside a few months prior to choosing our other venue, and the date we wanted was already booked up, so we moved on. However, when I called Dan again in July to see if ANYONE had cancelled, it was like the heavens opened up and God shined down on my fiance and me - the October 18th bride at Creekside had moved her date to April 2015 so the date was open again! AMEN!

Once we got the ball rolling with deposits, etc., Dan was so accommodating - I'm a Type-A bride and I didn't have a wedding coordinator, so I was doing all the planning myself. I had questions and Dan hit me back up with answers within 24 hours (many times within the hour)--- great turnaround and a HUGE help.

The crew also set up a wonderful "sneak-peak" of our meal that we chose - there was a wedding at the venue that evening and we could see the place come to life, which was super exciting.

When the rehearsal day came, Dan let us get there early on Friday to set up all our decor (which took about an hour prior to the actual rehearsal as well coordinated the rehearsal/processional for us. His calm and helpful nature made everything go so smoothly.

The day of our wedding was the most AMAZING day... from beginning to end. Everything was set up so beautifully and the entire staff was so efficient friendly toward my groom and I, as well as our guests... everyone had such a wonderful time!

This venue is absolutely beautiful! With the tin roofs a mini chandeliers accross the entire place. The BBQ was the best I've ever had.

Creekside was the perfect venue to celebrate our special day. Each aspect of the venue contained unique and beautiful touches that surpassed all of my expectations. I worked with Dan, one of the owners of Creekside, and could not have been more grateful or pleased with his professionalism and desire to make every feature of the day to be exactly how I had dreamed of. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Being outside in different shaded areas with beautiful trees and lush grass made our wedding pictures perfect! One of my biggest concerns when planning a wedding for 500 guests was that the venue will either not be large enough to be comfortable or that the venue will be so large that it does not have an intimate feel. With Creekside I was able to create both a spacious feel with still having the cherished intimacy of everyone being together. We hired Creekside to cater our reception with the best bar-b-que I have ever eaten! My wedding occurred over three months ago yet when I saw a guest from our wedding one week ago all they talked about was how delicious the food was! I would recommend Creekside to any and all brides/grooms. The pleasure of feeling comfortable with those you are working with in knowing that each request and desire that you have will be taken care of both before and on the wedding day is something to be greatly appreciated and cherished. Creekside provided this comfort to both me and my parents and we are forever grateful to Dan and all those involved for making the day so special!

Creekside is an excellent venue! We had our ceremony and reception there. Our wedding theme was natural and simple. Creekside can easily be fancy and dressed up though! The tall oaks and cypress trees, green grass, and flowing creek made for excellent pictures outside and a very peaceful ceremony! The building is beautiful and the tin ceiling with chandeliers also makes for great pictures and extends the soft candlelight throughout the room.
We were an out of town couple and Dan, the owner, was so accommodating! He made us a great deal for booking the venue the same day we visited, and was very prompt in responding to our emails and phone calls. In addition, you don't have to rent or set up or take down any linens, tables, chairs, etc. because Creekside does it all for you--which helps make the wedding weekend a little less stressful :) My sister (and MOH) is allergic to gluten, and the staff made sure she had a special plate personally delivered to her so she wouldn't get sick! The staff also bring a plate & drinks for the bride and groom, so you don't have to worry about not eating.
One thing you might not like is that if you choose Creekside as your venue, then they have to cater it. They have several different meal options that are sure to fit in with what you like, and we received so many compliments on how tasty the food was. But that's just a heads up! Looking back, I would pick this venue again! Great price, beautiful area, and friendly & helpful staff.

Words cannot express how amazing Creekside was on our big day! Everything was beautiful and could not have been more perfect. The staff was super attentive, the food was outstanding, Dan (the owner) took care of every last detail for us. It truly was the perfect wedding, I would not have changed a thing. Love this place!!!

I honestly couldn't have imagined a better place to have our wedding. The outdoor wedding setting was beautiful and natural - even though our wedding was in the middle of August (ie: HOT!), the large oak trees in the back gave us shade, and the grass was still green, which looked great in the pictures. It was a simple but beautiful, natural setting for an outdoor wedding. The indoor venue was exactly what we wanted, an open space for people to mingle and enjoy each other's company. The wood paneling and chandeliers looked beautiful in our wedding photos, and the stage and DJ set up was great. I especially appreciated the fact that Creekside took care of both the wedding/reception set up and food. Dan Sherrill and his staff were friendly and easy to work with - they made wedding planning so much easier! Couldn't have asked for a better wedding!

I can't say enough about how happy Joey and I are about our selection of Creekside for our ceremony and reception site. Dan was outstanding! He kept us in the loop and was onsight for assistance the ENTIRE day. The new outdoor vista ceremony site overlooking the creek is very romantic. We LOVED the packages they had set up where we didn't have to worry about anything. We basically showed up. They took care of everything. Their servers were professional and friendly. While we were saying our vows we could hear the water rushing. Our reception site was so pretty. You won't find anything in Austin to match their appeal. Country but modern and elegant. The rose gardens they have planted around the grounds are second to none. We will cherish the memories we made at Creekside and will be happy to send people their way. You won't be disappointed.

Had a wonderful wedding and reception here. Even though it rained, they moved everything inside and it turned out better than it would have outside! They were always kind, understanding, and willing to work with you. Food was AMAZING, everyone commented on how it was the best wedding food they'd ever have (including the cake from Upper Crust Bakery-can't beat it). Go for the fajitas for sure, best grilled meat, all around yumminess!

Our daughter got married this past July at Creekside and it was a beautiful venue for the wedding. Dan was wonderful to work with especially since our daughter lived in Dallas and had to do a lot of the planning via phone and internet. Everyone we worked with at Creekside was very accommodating and even eased a lot of tension on the big day by being so flexible since we were not sure the weather was going to permit us to have the ceremony outside. They let us have options up until one and half hours prior to the ceremony. We would recommend them to anyone.

Creekside was great! I had another venue already chosen, but we were going to have to set everything up by ourselves and we were worried about getting everything done in time. My mother saw that Creekside was running a special on services for our wedding month, and we jumped right on it! The site is beautiful (I definitely recommend getting the lighting package where they string the lights along the ceiling, it's beautiful), and it included the food, table linens, and decorations. They were so professional, and they really took a load off of our shoulders as far as planning was concerned. Plus, the food was awesome; we had the barbeque, and the turkey was especially delicious. They were really great, I would definitely recommend them!

The staff at Creekside was wonderful! They were so kind considering I was on the verge of a bridezilla! It was such a blessing to pretty much show up, get married, and go home! They took care of all the set-up, take-down, and cleaning! They were also prepared for rain, which was pretty much iminent that day! It all turned out and was such a beautiful wedding. It was perfect!

Everyone loved the beautiful venue. The food was great and Dan was always very helpful and willing to work with us.

We had our wedding here and it was a wonderful value. Dan and his team made EVERYTHING run smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing once the wedding started. The BBQ was pretty good too! Dan was incredibly flexible with rehearsal time and set-up. The day was wonderful and I am so happy we chose Creekside as our wedding venue!

Creekside is an excellent choice for those who want a venue that not only provides beautiful scenery with multiple ceremonial sites to exchange vows, but also genuine personalized treatment to ensure your day is perfect. The owners (I had contact with Dan during my planning) and staff treat you with respect and really seem to care that you feel comfortable with everything. The food is also excellent and there are good choices as well. You are able to decorate however you want which is nice, and they also provide limited table decorations like votive holders and hurricane lanterns if you choose to use those. The bridal suite is adequate size and comfortable. It was fun sharing treats the venue provides (fruit, cheese, champagne) with my ladies. The new ceremonial site was beautiful overlooking the creek and the reception was lovely. At night the outdoor lighting on the trees adds that extra touch of elegance that provides a nice romantic glow. My wedding day could not have gone more perfectly!

We had our wedding reception at Creekside in November 2015.
Dan is awesome! He's laid back and very accommodating.
We spoke a few times over the phone prior to day of so I could have my very long list of questions answered. The contract was all inclusive and included reception space, tables, linens, chairs, dishes, stemware, flatware, buffet dinner and even bus staff and servers to cut cake! This took a HUGE burden off of me while planning my wedding and I really appreciated it.
We arrived the morning of our event and as promised all of the tables were set up for us and ready for us to decorate.
My only issue is that my day of coordinator experienced some rudeness from the woman in charge of Creekside the morning of set up, but my coordinator is a professional so she dealt with it and moved on.
The staff was great and the day of, were accommodating to a few last minute requests. The barbeque was really good, my guests loved it. The facility can accommodate for more than our little 50 person event. The facility is well kept and absolutely beautiful.

You will get the whole package for your wedding at an excellent price. I shopped around and couldn't find anyone who would give you as much stuff in a package without it costing an outrageous amount. The food is great! The new chandeliers and updated bridal suite really make the pace to romantic. Go to the open houses to check out the place, taste the food and get ideas. Listen to Dan he knows his stuff.

We had our ceremony and reception at Creekside. It is such a beautiful setting for an outdoor ceremony. They include so much in their package. Dan at Creekside was very helpful. We had so many compliments on Creekside. Everyone said that it was such a beautiful place. I agree. Thank you Creekside for an amazing wedding.

I had my wedding there two years ago and it was fabulous! Dan is the man! Very professional and very polite. Family and friends were taken by the place and said the BBQ was great! Everyone who attended said they had fun and commented about it again just a few weeks ago.

We loved having our wedding at Creekside. We definitely enjoyed the service and everything turned out beautiful! Also, the food was amazing and everyone still talks about it! I'd definitely recommend having your wedding here!

Creekside was a great place to get married. The staff was professional and the space looked great for our ceremony and reception. The food was great! (we got fajitas) The facility was clean, the grounds of Creekside were well-groomed and comfortable. The owners were easy to talk to, patiently answered our many questions and seemed flexible to our requests.
The only complaint: During our reception, one of our guests accidentally tripped and broke a window. Thankfully she was not injured. The owner's response left something to be desired - he immediately took her to the office of the building and began to sternly review with her replacement costs of the window DURING the reception. She properly ignored this discussion and told him to discuss it with her later. Everything with Creekside was excellent except for this one disappointment.

The wedding coordinater was always available to answer our questions and to make our wedding as enjoyable as possible. My only suggestion would be to post on a stencil or posterboard the menu for the evening. I think that would be most beneficial and classy overall.

Dan did a great job for the Cook/Roy wedding. We had fajitas which were delicious, and an open bar. The wait staff was very courteous. The venue was great for our 150 guests, the only thing you need to do is review your pricing very closely to make sure you understand what's provided and what is extra.

Creekside was everything we wanted - we got to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and had the reception right on site. We experienced no major issues and got everything we were promised.

Keeping in mind that our experience was positive overall, I would truly only recommend Creekside for weddings of 200-250 or more. We had approximately 98 people actually attend our wedding, and the reception hall was a bit large for a crowd of our size. The outdoor setting worked perfectly, but the reception felt a bit empty when people were standing in groups and chatting.

Creekside was very responsive as far as us visiting the location multiple times before and after we had officially selected it as our venue. I did not give quite as high a rating for professionalism because it's two brothers who own Creekside and they are fairly relaxed. Don't get me wrong - relaxed was fine by us, but I felt like one of the owners was the salesperson while the other owner was the one who become our point of contact after the contracts had been signed.

We got what we wanted - a ceremony and reception site in one. However, I feel like the pricing reflects the two-in-one concept as a convenience for the bride and groom. Obviously, it wasn't completely out of our budget or we wouldn't have selected Creekside as our venue. However, I also don't think that it was necessarily a bargain either.

Finally, the package we used wasn't open to negotiation, which was somewhat disappointing. We didn't specifically desire all of the features included in the package, but we wanted enough of them that we ended up paying for the package offered to us.

All in all, we don't have any specific regrets about selecting Creekside. We had a beautiful, wonderful outdoor ceremony, which was probably the most important aspect to the both of us. The reception hall provided a nice background for the vendors we selected, and we had a great evening. I would recommend Creekside, but, as I stated before, probably only for a wedding group on the larger side.

We held our reception at Creekside Pavilion & it was beautiful! Dan was very easy to work with & was very helpful when it came time to decide what would be best for the number of people we had invited. My family had never planned a wedding before so we weren't sure how to judge for the people who don't RSVP & come anyway & the people who RSVP yes, but don't show up. Dan's experience in this department was priceless. The whole thing ran so smoothly; it was like a dream! I'd recommend this venue to any couple getting married or even for company events.

We had our Ceremony and Reception at Creekside. We planned this wedding from Houston so a lot of things were by phone or email. We went to a tasting and then to finalize paperwork. We originially met with Paul who was very nice but then we dealt with Dan for the remainder. We had a lot of compliments on food and the venue grounds. We were able to bring stuff the day before wedding which helped a lot. My only complaint was communication it was great at first but it diminished after full payment was received. My emails were no longer answered. I had to call several times to get ahold of someone. I had asked for someone to call when the final check was received to make sure it got that and no one ever did. I only knew they had gotten the check since it was cashed. Other than all that everything was smooth the day of and they were very accomidating. I would reccomend this venue in the end.
