Suprise 60th Birthday Party

We hosted a surprise 60th birthday bash and I knew I wanted/needed CTE involved. After working with Demetrius, he helped in bringing my vision to life with the right touch of elegance! When I consulted with Demetris and told him my idea, just like anyone else I told he wasn't too sure about what I was talking about. By the next consultation, he had done his HOMEWORK. He was already coming up with cool ideas. He has excellent customer service time response. Even in the middle of him decorating for an event he would respond back to my messages. Talk about multitasking + catering to clients at its best.

Derrick: from sending out a very DETAILED timeline bridal party/ vendors, to coordinating rehearsal and wedding, to bringing food to the bridal party photoshoot session, boy was he AWESOME!! He was very sweet, professional and just all about catering to our needs and making sure we were taken care of and had whatever we needed.

Crystal: She was there bright and early Saturday morning. Whatever we needed she made sure to provide. She was firm, yet professional about making sure vendors were keeping to schedule. And yes, she got us to church 15mins earlier and that made me extremely happy because if we weren't that would have worked me up; so THANK YOU!

Demetris: Gosh his work simply speaks for itself.I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THAT DANCE FLOOR!He created the most beautiful Hanging Garden of Babylon.When I walked into that room, it was way beyond what I actually pictured and that threw me off and I LOVED IT! In addition, Demetris was with me the entire way. If I needed some fashion advise we would bounce ideas back and forth.

I honestly can go on and on about Demetris and his team, but their work simply speaks for itself. THEY ARE SIMPLY ON TOP OF THINGS!!

Working with the folks over at Creative Touch made planning for our wedding an extremely enjoyable process. Absolutely hands down, the best vendor we were lucky enough to work with. Demetris's designs were superb and allowed us to have an elegant wedding ballroom that still fit within our budget. He worked with us for months to make sure everything was perfectly chosen and was flexible enough to account for any changes as we got closer to the wedding date. After the wedding, all of our guests could not believe how beautiful the reception decor, centerpieces and stage were. I would HIGHLY recommend you work with Creative Touch for your event!

Demetrius was exceptional to work with. He listened and understood my needs, resources and vision. He not only listened but he brought my vision to life and paired me with the perfect team member, Laci, to assist me. Between Laci and Demetrius no detail was missed. This was invaluable.

My wedding weekend consisted of two weddings. A Friday night Traditional Nigerian ceremony and a Saturday Traditional American ceremony and reception. The Creative Touch team executed full decor for the Friday wedding and provided coordination, decor (of the church and reception venue), and florals for Saturday.

My wedding weekend was phenomenal! The services that Creative Touch provided execeeded my expectations! I would suggest anyone looking to execute a wedding or any important event to work with Creative Touch.

Creative Touch did an awesome job with the decor of my wedding venue and reception. I received so many compliments. I only wish I had used them for every aspect of my wedding. Creative Touch did an amazing job with planning and designing our wedding. I have to say they went over and beyond for us. They covered every aspect of what we needed, from the design of my dress to the design of my husbands suit. Demetris put us in touch with all the top vendors and made sure we had nothing but the best service. He designed and black and white stripes and polka dot theme with a pop of yellow and it was to die for. Every one of my guest are still talking about what a great job Creative Touch did on our wedding. Our event started on time and everything ran smoothly, anything we needed his team was right there to provide. We asked for hair pins... We got them! We asked for sharpies.... We got them! We asked for safety pins... We got them! We even asked for food about 20 minutes before our wedding started and we got that too. Creative Touch truly provided The Dream Experience for us as well as our guest! We could not have asked for anything more! (And our Wedding went VIRAL) ~ Darrus and Shanna Cofield!

Demetris Faison and CTE made my wedding dreams come true a little over 8 years ago. So I used CTE again for a 50th surprise party for my husband.
I had so many juxtaposing ideas for what I wanted and I didn’t know how I was going to pull them together. Demetris heard all of them (King of NY, a sports theme and showcasing the 50 without using gold) and pulled them together as if they were born to be together. And it was done in a way that was classy like my husband and a little over the top like myself. He remembered details about us from 8 years ago to add to the event that I would not have thought of. The level of attention that he brought to the event was incredible. And on top of that, the attention he paid to me as a planner was awe inspiring. You see, it was my husband that kept me on track for things when our wedding was planned. Since this was a surprise party for him who was going to keep me on track? The answer…Demetris. I was on my way to a meeting he set up for me to meet a vendor at the same time he was about to board a plane to meet a client and he called to say, “Kym, you should be in your car on your way to meet XYZ Caterer.” Now that is service. He was that on top of things. No request was too small. He answered me no matter where he was. He was always available.
The day of the event was flawless. I walked into each room and was awed. Our guests are still talking about how everything looked and that is exactly what I wanted. One of my friends remarked “They must be the people in charge because they look so calm.” I asked who they were talking about and they pointed out Demetris and Derrick of CTE. And that is what you want on the day of your event. People who are calm because they know what they are doing. So for top notch planning and execution, design and attention to detail as well as attention to the client call CTE. You won’t regret it.

When working with Creative Touch Events, expect to be amazed. My husband and I love both the ceremony and reception decor. Most guest didnt even realize it was the same arrangements. I asked for classy, elegant and some wow factors.. they gave me that and more. I was so happy to see everything come together. Guests are still talking about my wedding and how everything was so beautiful. I also used them for the day of service, which was the best money I ever spent. Those last 2 weeks was a breeze. I highly recommend this service or the full planning wedding service.

I'm not a good talker but a good writer so I decided to write instead of calling .
I'll like to say a huge "THANK YOU" to you all for everything you did for us before and during our wedding.
Finding a decoration and coordination company here in Charlotte as new residents was very hectic for me. Demetris you made me very comfortable the first day I spoke with you. You didn't try to teach me how to pronounce words the American way ??.
When I entered the church and saw the altar arrangements , I cried . I cried because only divine love could make a person do more than they were paid for.Everybody is still talking about the reception setup , "CLASSY" is the word they all using . The groom and bride sitting area was nothing short of "WOWWW" .
The bouquet! was the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen and I loved it. You made sure we lacked nothing and had nothing to worry about.

I got married November 12,2016. I used CTE for my wedding planning and decor, floral design, and lighting. Everything they produced was top notch. When it comes to the quality of thier events, CTE handles everything in a perfectionist manner. You WANT your hard earned money to be spent well and CTE gave me the wedding in a fairly tale book. From minor details that I never thought about to keeping me organized and communicating to my wedding party. I would recommend them over and over and over. They are the BEST in my opinion - Hands down!

Creative Touch Events oversaw the Floral and Design of my wedding on September 10th, 2016. Everything was beyond my imagination. It was so beautiful and I know that they have such a wonderful God-given gift. Our wedding guests, as well as ourselves felt like royalty. Creative Touch designs it's just an awesome business to choose as your wedding event planning. My husband and I were last minute planners. We knew pretty much the basic like the colors, how big the wedding party and what we wanted to wear. BUT no one to pull it all together in a month time. "Yes" a month for the major details for as a venue, a photographer, caterer, DJ, makeup artist and most importantly A PLANNER!!! I made one call to this young man in whom I had the chance to see him grow up from a toddler to this amazing young gifted talented along with anointed to do what he do! When I contacted Demetris Faison he was like sure I got this me and my staff don't want you to have any worries just be open to options and ready to be The Queen & Bride that you deserve to be. With in 3 days I had a venue and a caterer. Then the next 3 days I had a makeup artist and a DJ and a photographer. Oh and In that first 3 days I had my wedding invitations in hand to send out. The awesome part of it all, is they wouldn't let me settle nor be anything but a bride and they were available rather it was a text, a e-mail or a phone call they were on top of everything. I have NEVER had such an AMAZING experience like this before. I mean absolutely NO WORRIES & STRESS FREE... When I felt myself becoming stress they would quickly let me know to breath and let them handle it! Before I knew it my big day was here. When I arrived I was rushed off to my suite and the magic began all staff and other wedding professionals where. They each was letting me know that even though it rain so I couldn't have my wedding out in the garden, they were prepared and equipped to move to plan "B"! All I needed to do is stick to plan "A" be a beautiful bride. Everything was just in Awe as in AWESOME & AMAZING! The whole atmosphere was filled with LOVE & WARMTH. It was overwhelming, breath taking. Every little detail, everyone that hand their hands in it, made Clarence Charlene Watkins Day A Remarkable!

The Chapman's were so on point and a very nice sweet family to us on our special day. The view in/out was amazing I wasn't for sure how it was going to turn out (pretty of course but just to see it with my eyes and the setup we came up with it was AWESOME). I just had an idea in my head and from pictures I viewed from other beach weddings CTE and I came up with a plan and followed that plan from the beginning to the end. I would for sure recommend CTE for any bride/groom that needs assistance on your special day.

We can't say enough positive things about CTE. Demetris and his team are absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. Demetris took our broad idea of Mint To Be and transformed it into an enchanted garden wedding at the Grand Marquise. We used CTE for our wedding planning and design. Having the team do both made it a lot easier to make decisions about every detail from the invites, programs, dresses, tuxedos, flowers, decor and many other wedding details. Any wedding detail you can think of CTE had an positive input on it. Demetris has surrounded himself with an awesome team, we specifically worked a lot with Derrick and Laci, their professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond was outstanding. We feel like our relationship with CTE has transformed from wedding planner to friends and our wedding and our lives are blessed because of this!!!

I can not say enough great things about Demetris and his team. He was beyond amazingly wonderful in the coordination and decoration of my wedding. I sent Demetris a few photos from pinterest to give him an idea of the style I liked and he created a wedding beyond my imagination. He is truly is a dreammaker of weddings! Demetris went above and beyond for me in so many different ways, I can not list them all. His creative mind and eye for design is completely insane. He was able to do a complete 180 of our venue and it def blew our minds. He captured the elegance of my parents 25 years of marriage, and was able to give our guest an experience they will never forget. Demetris and his staff discussed and delivered just what I had expected. Sooooo many great reviews from both attendees of the wedding ceremony and reception. I love Demetris and Derrick. They were attentive, very helpful, reasonably priced. Everything we asked for we got and so much more. We put our wedding in their hands and John and I were not disappointed. They found our Caterer and DJ. Made suggestions when we were unsure. They are the best. Hire Demetris and Derrick for all your party planning, wedding, anniversary, birthday or any holiday occasion you will not be disappointed. Our next event we will would not think about hiring any other company.

On January 1, 2014, the love of my life proposed to me and I knew my wedding day had to be special and amazing! The only person that could give me what I wanted on our special day was Demetris Faison and CTD team. I wasted no time contacting him as my wedding date was 7/12/14! My first consultation made me feel my dream wedding was achievable. CTD was professional and organized, Demetris is truly gifted at his profession. My wedding was stress free and PERFECT!! I would NOT change anything its amazing to have had a perfect wedding day!!! He gave me what I wanted and SOOOO much more! CTD exceeded my expectations and I'm a tough cookie...lol! Creative Touch did an outstanding job as my Wedding Planner/Coordinator and on the Floral Designs. They truly create what others dream. Their professionalism and thoughtfulness made my life so much easier. I did not have to worry about anything on my wedding day. Everything flowed and the floral arrangements were breathtaking! Creative Touch truly listens to your vision and executes your vision to perfection. They are a GREAT team to work with. I also must comment on how innovative they are in their designs. Creative Touch Designs is AMAZING in every single aspect of the word! My husband and I had been to several weddings between the time we started dating and the time we got engaged. The weddings we had been to were all beautiful ceremonies and receptions. However, we just did not want that for us. Our personalities are different and outlandish. We knew we needed something to totally match that. We also knew from the beginning of our engagement that we wanted and needed a wedding planner. Through social media we found Creative Touch Designs. All we did was tell our story, and Creative Genius, Founder and Owner of Creative Touch Designs created way more than what we dreamed of. We were just as in shock and amazed upon arrival at our own wedding. It was like we were guests at our own wedding. In the most positive way possible, everything at our wedding was a surprise. We were speechless when we got to the ceremony and just completely floored when the curtains opened at the reception. It was such a pleasure to work with such wonderful people. The staff at Creative Touch are so professional and take making things personable to a totally different level. We are so glad that we entrusted the intricate details of our special day to such a capable team. The comments that came from everyone from our wedding(including our parents) was along the lines of: "I've been to a lot of weddings before, but THIS is THE BEST, MOST CREATIVE AND COOL wedding that I have ever been to." We were so relaxed at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding because we had so much confidence that all the details were in the right hands. There is no other team like Creative Touch Designs that will literally make your dreams a reality!! The entire staff was a pleasure to work with. All of my guest said it was the best wedding they've been too!!

Originally I was not going to get a wedding planner for our wedding, but when I saw the work Demetris and his staff did I just knew I had to have him! :) I was in aww of all the photos I had seen and knew Creative Touch would be able to make my vision become reality. I came up with the idea of doing a love birds & lace theme and Demetris went along with my idea and turned it into something my guest can't stop talking about. I'm very detail oriented and so are they!!

Loved that we chose them to make our day more than what we imagined.

Thanks to Creative Touch Designs...I had the wedding of my dreams. I never thought I would have a wedding as glamorous as mine was. And more importantly...it was all that I wanted. I had some wacky ideas and the team at Creative Touch help me fulfill them all. From the grand cake design (which was their idea) to the signs saying "ooohh", "aaaahhh", and "applause" that were held up during the ceremony.
If you want to have a grand wedding...please hire Creative Touch Designs. They offer wonderful services, great detail and they find wonderful vendors for you to work with in your price range.

We used Creative Touch Design for our wedding and I was more than pleased with how things turned out. We gave them a vision and they took it and expanded beyond anything we could have ever imagined. There were so many details that I couldn't find one to focus on. The floral arrangements were gorgeous. Our guest loved all of our decorations. This company has the potential to be something big and great.

Working with Demetris and his assistant Derrick, was a pleasure. I was planning my wedding from out of state, and unfortunately was not able to meet them in person, except through face-time. Despite that fact they captured my taste perfectly and transformed my wedding venue into more than I could have envisioned my self. Demetris was always highly professional and never missed a beat. They were also very accommodating to my budget, and requested changes. I hands down recommend them for anyone looking to have a beautifully decorated event!

I worked with Demetris to create the design for my wedding and the delivery was everything I dreamed of and more! He took my vision to another level and had every detail planned out. Hey fellas,
I just wanted to give you guys a quick shout out for the amazing feat you guys accomplished with the wedding for Deloris and I on 10/03/15. First of all, my new wife had been extremely stressed over planning the perfect event and the weather made her beyond upset. She was truly devastated. It hurts me to see her upset. So, we met with you guys at The Dream Center on 09/30 to discuss a change of venue. I'll tell you this: you guys really amazed us at the perfection and detail of the job you were able to completely design in THREE DAYS notice. We know that no one can predict the weather, but you made this a very smooth transition. When we arrived to The Dream Center on the day of our wedding, we, along with all of the guests, were AMAZED! Multiple guests commented on the decor and ambiance of the room. Deloris was so happy, she forgot all about the weather. I know she bumped heads with you guys a few times, but she forgot all about that too, haha. I just wanted to thank you guys for making my wife happy, and helping to make our day special. Seeing her smile made everything worthwhile. The old saying is true, "Happy wife, Happy LIFE!!" Thanks!

Jaw-dropping decor!

Creative Touch was spectacular!

A quick background to my review: The decor was the MOST important element to me for our wedding weekend. We definitely were looking for a high end decorator and were willing to allocate more in our budget towards that. We were also having a large indian wedding with three different events over 2 days with completely different color schemes and styles, which meant we required a complicated flip-over since all events were in the same ballroom.

Creative Touch was the very first vendor we met with and decided to work with (even before we finalized our venue and date). I told Demetris my ideas for each event and showed him my pinterest board. During the very first meeting, he sketched all three events designs and knew exactly what I wanted and even added his own creative elements that I would not have thought of. It was extremely impressive how he was able to take my ideas and immediately put everything down on paper. From the very first meeting, we knew that we could trust Demetris to deliver a fabulous final product.

There was one element that I really wanted, a custom-built chandelier to be mounted on the ceiling of the venue. Approval for the design was a much more complicated process than we would have liked due to restrictions at the venue, and it required multiple revisions to the chandelier design. We appreciated though that Demetris put a lot of time going back and forth with the venue so he could create the vision I wanted; he knew how important the chandelier was to me. Despite the delays, we were never concerned that Demetris would make things look great.

As I mentioned, we had a complicated room flip-over. We had our wedding in the ballroom and then had a two hour cocktail during which Creative Touch had to deconstruct the wedding decor and completely change the space for a proper dinner reception. His team completed this in less than 2 hours plus we had enough time for our first look. The look was incredible the entire weekend and many of our guests said that they had never seen decor this amazing at any wedding.

Our only critique is that Demetris is sometimes a little slow to communicate, particularly by email. He is very busy with weddings most weekends. Phone is definitely a better way to communicate with him. He did always close the loop with us eventually though.

Overall, I cannot tell you how happy I am with the decor the weekend of my wedding. Thank you SO much to the Creative Touch team and to Demetris for making my wedding weekend so memorable! I am so happy that Creative Touch was able to create my vision and I highly recommend them for any event!

I definitely recommend Creative Touch for lighting, decor, and florals. But, I recommend going with a different vendor for wedding planning.

Lighting, Decor, and Florals: We used Creative Touch for our October 2015 wedding. The decor was absolutely beautiful. They transformed our kind of blah venue space into a gorgeous space. The lighting, decor, and florals MADE our pictures. If you're looking for THE people to select for your decor needs- hire them.

The only thing I think they could improve on, decor wise, are not using faux florals. They used faux florals mixed in with real florals, in my flower arrangements and bouquet. The use of faux florals wasn't mentioned anywhere in my invoices...and they weren't even real-touch faux. So I don't know what happened there.

Wedding Planning: Unfortunately, things did not go so great with Creative Touch's wedding planning of my wedding. We hired them for day-of wedding planning services, which includes preparation planning 4 weeks before the event.
2 weeks before the wedding, none of the preparation communication had been done. We also never got a reception timeline, and this led to many problems during the reception. It was like I was watching amateurs. We had several issues with the announcement of the wedding party, garter toss, timing of the toasts, cake cutting, and service of venue's food. These issues could have been easily mitigated with a planner who was quick thinking and more proactive. Part of the problem was that Derrick was our planner, but it was almost like he was afraid to make decisions without getting Demetris' approval- and Demetris was busy with decor. This left us, the couple, being aware of and feeling bad about how certain things went for our guests, during the wedding. And trust me, you don't want that feeling during your wedding.

The ceremony was to begin at 6 pm, and the venue allowed vendors to start setting up at 4:30 pm. Understandably, it was not ideal in terms of the time allotted for set-up. However, on the big day, they did not begin setting up on time. They apparently arrived early, but waited until 4:30 to begin unloading the car instead of having everything ready to go. The 30 minutes they spent unloading essentially made them late - precious time which should have gone toward setting up. The person in charge was Demetris Faison, and he was rude/unprofessional. When the my mother asked him why he was starting at 5 pm, he snapped at her and said that the venue did not allow them to enter until 4:30. Due to their late start, the ceremony started 45 minutes late, which equated into time lost during the reception later that night. Also due to their tardiness, I wasn't able to take many pictures with my wife do to the fact we had to constantly cut things short to make up for lost time. Later, when setting up the reception, Demetris dropped the photographer's flash from a flash stand when trying to hastily move it without the photographer's permission. The flash fell about 8-10 feet and the photographer was obviously upset. When confronted by the photographer, Demetris showed no remorse and walked away as if nothing happened. Additionally, Demetris insisted on taking a photo for his website after his team completed setting up the reception, although we were running 1 hour behind - and 30 minutes of that lost time was due to his tardiness. At this point, it was past time for the reception dinner to begin (the ceremony and cocktail hour had been completed), yet he did not show any sense of urgency. When confronted, he pushed hard for the photo. An argument ensued - which should have been unnecessary in the first place - and he lost his temper. It seems that he places the promotion of his business over the timeline of the wedding and the wishes of the bride and groom.
