Cynthia was great to work with throughout the process, helping me figure out what style I wanted during the trial and refining it on my big day once we had a clearer vision. I am not one who wears makeup often, and her warmth and fun vibe made the process feel easier and less intimidating. On the big day, her and her team were early and set up quickly, being flexible with getting through the bridal party schedule to keep us on time. All of my girls loved their styling and felt listened to about adjustments or inspiration pictures. I would recommend her and her team in a heartbeat! -

Cynthia and her teammate Amber were fantastic for our wedding. I can't say enough about how friendly, professional, and talented they were. From my initial trial with Cynthia, she was responsive, collaborative, and helped me figure out the perfect look for my wedding. She took my feedback on our trial and incorporated into my final look perfectly.
My bridesmaids and mom also loved their hair and makeup day-of.
I don't wear a lot of makeup day-to-day so I was nervous about feeling uncomfortable or not like myself, but Cynthia did an excellent job at picking the right makeup products and choosing a look that complimented me but didn't make me feel like I was wearing a ton of heavy makeup.
Also, they were just so friendly and humble for our getting ready day, which made the process fun and not stressful at all. They were perfectly on time too which is insanely impressive.
Overall, they made the experience amazing and I was so thankful I chose Cynthia as my H&MUA. I highly recommend her! -

Cynthia is amazing!! She made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. She was flexible with me when I wanted to make adjustments to my hair and make up, and worked with me to find the hair and make up look that I loved. I wanted a soft natural look, but still more make up than my everyday look. Cynthia knocked it out of the park. I feel like she definitely specialized in softer natural looks, so if that is what you're looking for Cynthia is your girl! She is also so sweet and kind. I 10/10 would book Cynthia (and her team) again! -

I hired Cynthia as my make-up artist and hair stylist for my wedding in August 2023, and I'm glad I did.
In short, she was so fun, endearing, professional, and helpful.
We did a trial for my engagement shoot at my house on a Sunday morning. I HIGHLY recommend a trial -- it's money well spent, trust me! She told me to take photos of my makeup at the end of the day and any changes I might want for my wedding day, and when I sent her a couple of things (such as the makeup breaking up on my chin, for instance) she was super open to the feedback and was able to remedy this situation for the wedding my day of by better understanding what products worked well on my skin.
Cynthia was one of the first vendors I saw the day of, and her calming demeanor set the tone right for my day :) She did my sister's hair and makeup first, making her look like a goddess (she's someone that usually doesn't wear makeup and for context I didn't have a wedding party but wanted my sister to get makeup, too).
She made me feel so beautiful and confident on the day of my wedding! And, even though I felt like I was wearing a lot of makeup, Cynthia warned me that it wouldn't look like that in the photos. She was absolutely correct -- the photos made me look pretty natural.
If you want to hire someone who does hair & makeup for a living BUT feels like you're just hanging with your BFF - hire Cynthia! -

Cynthia is very experienced and so easy to work with. I don't wear a ton of makeup on a daily basis and didn't want to look overly made up. The whole contour, face painted on look really isn't my thing. Cynthia understood and totally agreed. She kept my makeup natural looking, didn't over do anything and I never felt so pretty in my entire life! I also was worried my make up would melt off in an hour because I have super oily skin and it was going to be a hot humid day. NOPE.. it stayed on perfectly all day and all through the night! -

Cynthia and her team were 12/10! She was very easy to work with, always responded quickly, arrived on-time for the big day, and stayed within our scheduled timeline. I absolutely LOVED how i looked and felt so beautiful-- my hair and makeup was exactly what I hoped for and better than imagined! All of my bridesmaids also looked gorgeous and everyone said how it's nerve-wracking getting your hair and makeup done, but they were SO happy did and loved how they looked. I would highly recommend and would hire again for other events! -

Best I've Ever Looked!
Cynthia was AMAZING!!! She made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world :)
Beyond giving me absolutely perfect makeup for the wedding, she was able to please my difficult-to-please mother-in-law with a gorgeous look, as well as two of my fabulous friends' makeup.
Cynthia took care determining what tone and style me & my guests were looking for, color matched the desired lipstick, and even gave travel-sized refills for later use throughout the night.
HIGHLY recommend her for your big day! -

Absolutely perfect!!
Cynthia was everything I wanted for hair and makeup! I showed her a picture and she quickly recreated it on me and was so flexible when I wanted to make adjustments! Working with Cynthia was so much fun and she gave me exactly the look I was hoping for. I wanted a vintage glam look and she nailed it, even after I switched to an updo (wedding postponed and too hot for hair down!). I felt absolutely bombshell gorgeous and enjoyed every minute of getting my trial and my wedding hair and makeup. Cynthia was a pleasure to work with and was accommodating and quick to respond when we had to postpone. She and another artist also did hair and makeup for my mom and two bridesmaids and everyone looked gorgeous! Cynthia and Ariana were the best choice we could have made for our hair and makeup team on our wedding morning. Our ceremony was at 9am, so we had to start hair and make up at 2:45am 😩. Cynthia and Ariana arrived in great spirits and kept the getting ready process light hearted and fun, which is a challenge when everyone is so tired. I can’t recommend them enough! -

Cynthia is absolutely THE BEST. She has done my makeup and hair over 12 years - From my wacky hair requests to the yearly haircut. She is the ONLY cosmetologist I will let touch my hair and face. I would be lying if I said I hadn't driven 3 hours just to have her make me look my best. A true must-hire. Cynthia was amazing from the moment I reached out to her. She was quick at responding, answered all of my questions and made every step as easy as possible for me. She did my trial run for my hair and makeup and I immediately knew I felt super comfortable with her. She was willing to keep trying things until I loved my look. She made sure I was happy with everything. I absolutely loved the look she created for me just going based off a few pictures I had sent her. On my wedding day she was absolutely amazing. She kept me calm literally the entire day and was legit willing to help me with anything I needed. She had playlists going for music , we chatted the entire day ... she honestly just felt like having another best friend/bridesmaid with me! She allotted the perfect amount of time to ensure she could do my hair and makeup and redo it if needed before my pictures . She also did both my daughters hair ... one has super thick hair, the other super thin hair. One of my girls also had a random stye on her eye that Cynthia covered up. My girls loved every second of getting their hair and makeup done and were both perfect! I would absolutely hire Cynthia again in a heartbeat and strongly suggest her for anyone looking for an amazing artist for their wedding or any other event!!!! -

Cynthia was amazing. I planned my wedding from out of town and was only visiting the area once before the big day - she did a great job to make sure she was able to squeeze me in for my trial and I absolutely loved the results. She even followed up with me later that night to see how my hair held up so she knew what needed to be adjusted for the big day.
On the day of the wedding, Cynthia and Brenda were there on time (they beat us!) and ready to go! They both were a great team and made sure we were all absolutely stunning. Most of my bridesmaids had no idea what they wanted for hair or makeup, but this wasn't an issue - Cynthia and Brenda were able to put together the perfect look that complemented each person's style. The makeup was on point, but they all still looked like themselves. I had tears in my eyes looking at how gorgeous everyone looked.
I had Cynthia add extensions and she did an amazing job - everyone (including my husband) was surprised to hear I even had them in she blended them so well!
Throughout this whole process, I had so many random questions for Cynthia and she was always happy to answer them. I highly recommend her, she is amazing!

Cynthia was absolutely amazing. I would recommend her to any of my friends getting married. She did my hair and makeup (bride) and 6 bridesmaids hair and makeup. She was very communicative. We discussed through email and also, during the bride hair and makeup trial. She was very open minded and also gave great suggestions when I was unsure. She listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly. During the day of the wedding, she worked efficiently to complete the bridesmaid hair and makeup on time. Extremely talented artist
Cynthia is super awesome as a person and an artist. I heard about her through friends since Cynthia had done both of their hair and make-up on their wedding days. She gave me exactly what I was looking for when it came to my hair and was really accommodating when it came to my make-up. I'm pretty particular when it comes to my make-up and she was so easy to work with when it came to that. She is so naturally talented when it comes to hair and so great at coming up with styles that fits your description, desires, and features. I highly recommend her airbrush make-up since I personally felt that it looked much better in person. I have a huge tattoo on my back that I wanted to cover up as well and she was more than happy to help me out with that. Not only if she an amazing artist but a fun person. During my trial and wedding day, I felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend of mine. I would highly recommend her to any bride that is looking for the perfect look on her special day. All my friends were in awe of the way I looked at my wedding and could not stop complimenting me on my make-up and hair. -

For our wedding date, Cynthia gave up a planned weekend off (her birthday weekend!) to provide her services for my wedding party. The day-of was fun and relaxing, with everyone in the room laughing and telling stories. My hair was so much fun - a great throw-back style to match the vintage vibe of our venue - and Cynthia did a spectacular job creating something that would look good and hold all night. Cynthia was my hair and makeup stylist for our wedding and I am so grateful she was!!
I first met Cynthia for my wedding hair and makeup trial where I immediately felt comfortable and knew that she would be able to make me feel at ease an an anxious bride on my wedding day.
She arrived at our venue early on the wedding day and made sure we stuck to the timeline for the bridal party hair and makeup.
I loved my wedding hair and makeup and I received so many compliments. I highly recommend Cynthia! My family and friends also were pleased by her work and thought she was so sweet!
Side note: Cynthia also brought a second stylist with her to accommodate our entire bridal party. I highly recommend reviewing the portfolio of other stylists prior to the wedding as well to ensure that the other stylist(s) is what you are looking for. -

Cynthia was great overall. I was honored to be able to support an APIDA-identifying and women-owned business for my wedding!
I did the H&MU trial and it was awesome. I went to her location and it was clean and organized. She makes sure to not use the same items with other clients. So mindful of hygiene and making sure everything was cleaned before and after.
I am a super natural person, so I was nervous, but she made me feel comfortable and used her expertise to support with my ideas. I also appreciate being able to have conversation whenever I get something done, so I was glad that she did that with me naturally. She is just a friendly person!
She recommended I do a lot of stuff the day of my trial to "test" the makeup and hair. Thankfully, it was my bachelorette party that day, so we went out and all over. Everything was great and she was extremely flexible on my feedback.
The day of, Cynthia was early and got to work right away. My maids were done on time and it was great. My sister was working on my niece's hair and though they weren't part of the services I paid for, she helped to spray their hair and comb it to make sure they were prepped for my sister to do their hairs.
There was some miscommunication on making sure my hair was washed the day before and not the day of. As I said, I usually don't do anything, so I did not know that you cant wash your hair the day of. It worked out overall, I just mentally kept thinking that my hair was dirty.
Overall, she's awesome. I recommend her online, whenever I see someone looking to hire a H&MUA! -
