  Amazing Experience!

  Brian is delightful and upfront with everything from the price to how the food will work out in your venue. For example, I wanted the California mix, but Brian recommended the carrots since my venue didnt have an oven and broccoli tends to get mushy if left out too long after being steamed. He was so easy to communicate with and the presentation during the tasting was beautiful. Everything was set up like an elegant restaurant. The food was amazing!! The service during the reception was very good. The staff paid special attention to anyone with food concerns. I had a couple of people with Siliac's and they made sure that they had something to eat.

  The food was amazing!

  Honestly it was nice to work with the owner to perfect our menu. He got us some special cutlery for our wedding. The food was delicious, all I heard was good things.

  The quality of food and service was impeccable. We sprung for 3 mains and the cedar plank salmon is the best thing you will ever have! We still talk about how good our food was and it totally beats the bad wedding food reputation.

  I was the bar tender that worked at the wedding the lady said I service 8,9, and 10 year olds that apple pie shots. Are your for real lady. I did no such thing. It seems awful funny as the Amiee and Breanna kept telling me what a good job I was doing. Talk about two faced people. I have worked for Country Spice Catering for quite some time and I have never heard such complaining in my life. Who makes the flowers just before the wedding which was over a hour late. And the poor cake lady had no idea what to do. There was never anyone there when we had questions. And they were suppose to eat at 6:30 and the poor people finally starting eating without the wedding party. It was very poor planning on the brides side. Please people I give Country Spice Catering a 5. You should seen some of ther more elegant wedding they are beautiful.

  Country Spice was a preferred caterer through our venue, Lakeview Banquet Center. We were extremely happy with Brian and the service provided. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the process. The food was absolutely delicious at the tasting and he did not disappoint on the wedding day. The wait staff was also fantastic. People raved about the food! I would recommend Brian over and over again.

  We LOVED the food. They did a fabulous job catering our wedding. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious and beautiful, we received a ton of compliments on the catering! THANK YOU!

  Although a little late, I still want to share my appreciation for Country Spice Catering and their staff for a fabulous wedding meal in October 2017, at the Lakeview Banquet Center in Laingsburg. The food was exactly what we wanted...amazing! We chose a sit-down and plated meal and the service was top notch. We even threw in a little glitch in wanting to grow our own edible garnishes for the plates, and Brian although a little skeptical at first, never complained and made sure the nusturtiums were dried and presented every so beautifully on each plate. ALL of our family and friends commented on how wonderful the food was. The staff was very friendly and approachable and I honestly never saw any mistakes (and I come from a restaurant background). My only regret was not catching them before they left to personally thank them for EVERYTHING! From selection, to price, to tasting, to the wedding day--it was all great! It's a tough industry and Brian, a stickler for details, was very accommodating and thoughtful in all explanations, preparations and follow-through. Thank you very much!

  We had our wedding in Lainsburg and the location only worked with Brian as their caterer. I was a little worried at first because I didn’t have the option to try multiple caterers. However Brian and his team were great! The food tasting made me a little worried with the options but on our wedding day the food turned out great. Brian also was accommodating and let us add things to our dishes that normally do not go. We did plated, and there was only one mix up when the staff was asking guests what they ordered when we specifically made large place cards that stated what they ordered. But besides that the staff was very professional and the food turned out awesome. The cake cutting turned out great too. We would recommend them!

  We used Country Spice Catering for our wedding at Lakeview Event and Banquet Center. We attended the tasting event before booking and were not impressed, but we really liked the venue so we decided to go to Country Spice Catering's location to taste some of the food there. Here, it was great! Bryan gave us so much food and so many options - we were really impressed. We paid in full at that time as we did with most of our other vendors. However, when it came to the day of the wedding we had many problems.... We ordered chicken and assumed that like our tastes it would be chicken breasts, it turned out to be chicken legs and thighs which didn't match the elegance of our reception. The staff showed up in t-shirts, none of them matching, and several wearing bright pink shorts - it was TOTALLY unprofessional. They also got our food order wrong!! We ordered a different type of garlic potato and they gave us mashed potatoes and gravy. We were totally disappointed with the food. Lastly, and probably most ridiculously, was the fact that the invoices and multiple corrections on invoices they sent us were WRONG! We had to go back and forth multiple times just to get their math correct. It was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. We tried really hard to like Country Spice Catering, but in the end we were 100% disappointed.

  Awful company!

  My husband and I got married in Oct, and prior to the week of the wedding, we had a great experience. The week of the wedding we contacted to make sure everything was in place. Brian did not know who I was or what my menu was (even though we had a final count meeting the week before) The day of the wedding was a DISASTER and a complete disappointment. Country spice did not have enough appetizers for my guests, did not have enough salad for each table, did not bring the correct vegetable that we requested and PAID for and to top it off, they were SHORT 44 MEALS! 44 of my guests did NOT have food. When contacting Brian the night of the event, he was catering another event down the road, and REFUSED to come rectify the situation. my guests ended up ordering pizza, picking it up, and eating it before he sent over a tray of PICKED OVER chicken to my event to "solve the problem". When attempting to rectify our damages following the wedding Brian and Nancy were THE most unprofessional people to talk with. My father was spoken to disrespectfully by Brian and I was spoken to disrespectfully and HUNG UP on by Nancy. They refused to apologize or give any sort of compensation for what took place on my wedding day and blamed our wedding guests for "eating too much", so my husband and I took them to court. Brian didn't even show up to court, Nancy did, and she proceeded to LIE again to the magistrate. We were able to receive some compensation, but for what we had to go through emotionally and financially, was beyond the WORST experience I have had with any business. I would not recommend them to ANYONE ever for ANY event. My husband and I are EXTREMELY disappointed in the experience we received from them after paying them such a large amount of money, for our wedding day.

  I wanted to go with this caterer, but they made it impossible. Brian was completely unprofessional, and incredibly rude over the phone when we asked him about a taste testing, and when we asked about mistakes on the invoice. The contract that was presented to us was very concerning, and when we expressed our concerns, he shouted at me, over the phone, that he would just give us our deposit back, and that we would have to find a different caterer. When we went to their establishment, he sent one of his workers to give me my deposit, as if he couldn't face me himself! Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a so-called professional.

  I flew in for a wedding on August 5th in Saginaw Michigan and was more than dissapointed in this caterers service, food quality, and professionalism. The inside bartender was serving to minors as young as 13 years old that I seen with my own eyes and the outdoor bartender was rumored to have given 8 9 and 10 year old girls the apple pie monnshine shots that the bride made as party favors. Also the chef was a no show. Instead 3 young boys cooked. They did not keep the condiments refreshed. And they allowed the crowd of guests to begin eating before the bride returned from pictures. That was a first for me. Plenty of guests were talking about jow awful it was to disrespect thw bride like this. So instead of the guests waiting on the bride she waited 30 minutes by a bathroom for everyone to grab their plates. Unreal. Also when they left they took all the buns cheese and toppings for the burgers. Also unbelievable. I know the bride was also told she was getting fresh food. Everything was frozen or out of packages from Gordon food services. And the lemonade tasted like it was mixed with hard water. The kids wouldnt even drink it. Again unbelievable. Especially for the price. I honestly would sue this company if I was the bride for ruining the night I spent 25 grand on. Im sorry Brooke they did this wrong by you. Smh. Buyer beware.
