We wanted a small cutting cake for our wedding ceremony to go along with a dessert buffet. We're so happy we went with Costeaux! Karah was so fun to work with, was very responsive, and the cake was gorgeous and delicious.
The cake tasting experience was also quite fun. She presented us with a variety of options and sent us home with the leftovers. We were married on a hot weekend in June in a totally outdoor wedding and Karah was very knowledgeable and helpful with tips to keep the cake fresh and what would work best.
Candidly speaking, we entered into this experience thinking "no one really wants to eat wedding cake" and left the experience saying "we wish we would've eaten more of our wedding cake!"

Our cake from Costeaux was absolutely delicious and was exactly what we were hoping for. However, the best part of using Costeaux was the service we received from Kara. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up between our wedding caterer/coordinator and and we thought we had our cake ordered. Upon contacting Costeaux shortly before the wedding we realized that the reservation hadn’t been made! They were fully booked with wedding cakes already but Kara was so sweet and offered to help accommodate what we were hoping for. She was willing to overbook their schedule (including delivery) to ensure that we received the cake of our dreams. She was extremely responsive when it came to planning the final details and was honest about the delivery piece being a bit challenging. Of course I TOTALLY understood as she was doing us a huge favor by making our cake for us. We were very flexible with when the cake was delivered and they still managed to deliver the cake, complete it, and have it displayed by the start of the reception! We had chocolate champagne cake and regular champagne cake- both were equally delicious. The cake was moist and delicious and the frosting was rich and not overwhelming sweet. I’m sure it will still taste great when we have the top tier on our first anniversary! We are truly grateful to Kara and her team for making our day so special. It would not have been the same without their beautiful cake and we appreciate everything they have done for us. Thank you! -

Jacquelyn Sent on 01/04/2015Oh. My. Gosh. The wedding cake that we purchased from Costeaux was absolutely the best wedding cake I have ever tasted. And, it was absolutely beautiful!! Our wedding theme was modern vintage, so we went with a 3-tier vanilla cake with ivory, vanilla buttercream icing. Doug came up with a stunning design that fit with our theme perfectly. And seriously, I cannot stress how delicious it was! I highly recommend Costeaux!! -

We were one of those couples that thought cakes for wedding were obscenely over priced. Doug proved us wrong when he had us in for a tasting of Costeaux's delicious cakes. They were light, uniquely flavored and above all - delicious! Doug was knowledgeable, friendly and helped us get the perfect cake for our wedding. On the big day, it looked exactly how we envisioned and tasted just as good as we remembered. People raved about the cake. Good thing our friends choose Costeaux for their wedding in a few weeks so we can have it again. -

User926646 Sent on 09/08/2012Costeaux was absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process and the actual event. I held my reception here and had their pastry chef do the cake. The food was beyond delicious and people were beside themselve over the cake-the best cake they ever had period let along wedding cake. Chris took me through all the planning over several months of emailing back and forth and he was very patient and very flexible. They made every last thing perfect and we felt very fancy indeed with the plated service, amazing food, and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere-perfection. -

My fiancé and I did not want anything fancy or complicated and Karah was open to anything. we ended up getting 3 different kinds of sheet cakes and a 2 tiered cake because we could not decide which flavors we liked best!! People loved trying all 4 flavors and raved about the cake. -

User938709 Sent on 09/18/2012We loved our cakes and desserts from Costeaux, they were truly delicious! Everything was easy, from ordering and tastings to delivery. The baking team was helpful and sweet! We did a tasting and while our order was unconventional, they were helpful and flexible. The only warning I would give is that the delivery fee is a big steep if you're not in the Healdsburg area.
