Corey’s photos allow us to remember the gorgeous wedding of our daughter forever. I shared some of the photos on social media with friends and family, and the comments said it all: “stunning” and “beautiful photos.”
As the mother of the bride, I never once had to worry about the photographer, which was an enormous stress relief on such a big day. Corey was everywhere, yet completely invisible. She captured every moment without ever being in the way.
She went out of her way to take photos for individuals and couples who attended the wedding. My father is very hard to photograph, yet she captured a natural, true image of him that we will treasure forever.
Corey traveled all the way to Texas to capture our big day. She chose not to fly so she could bring all of her outstanding cameras and lighting.
Hands down, Corey is the best photographer our family has ever had. I am so grateful for her natural gift of photography that she shared with us. Priceless. -

My husband and I first discovered Corey Cagle when our wedding planner suggested her. It didn’t take long after reaching out for us to make the decision to have Corey be our wedding photographer and it was one of the best investments we made for our wedding. She made us feel comfortable from the start and captured our wedding day beautifully — every candid moment, every detail, every emotion. The photos are stunning and look like they came straight out of a magazine. The amount of people that have raved about our photos seems never-ending. Beyond her talent, Corey was kind, organized, and such a calming presence throughout the day. We couldn’t be happier with our experience or our photos. Hands down, hiring Corey was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We’re still in awe of how beautifully everything came together—and so much of that magic is thanks to her.
From the moment we connected, Corey stood out. Not only is she a master of her craft (seriously, her work speaks for itself), but she’s also an incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful human being who made us feel so cared for every step of the way.
Let’s start with the photos: WOW. We’re completely blown away. She captured everything—from emotional candids of our families and guests to those picture-perfect portraits that look like they belong in a magazine. Her attention to detail is unmatched; she noticed everything from the tilt of my head to a stray strand of hair, adjusted hand placement, and effortlessly guided us through every shot. In fact, one of our absolute favorite memories from the wedding day was our pre-ceremony photoshoot in front of the Biltmore—to be honest, we didn’t think it would be a fun process taking all those photos but actually thanks to Corey, it was one of the most fun, effortless, natural and enjoyable experiences of the day. We couldn’t stop smiling and laughing and it made us even more excited for the ceremony.
But what truly sets Corey apart is her heart. Leading up to the wedding, she took time to hop on detailed calls, made notes about what mattered most to us, and customized the experience around our vision. When Hurricane Helene hit and forced us to postpone our October 2024 wedding to March 2025, we were devastated. Amid the chaos, Corey—who was dealing with her own challenges living in North Carolina—was one of the first vendors to personally call us since we live out of sate. She reassured us, checked in on how we were doing, gave us real time updates on the situation and immediately committed to our new date. Her empathy and professionalism during such a difficult time, especially when she was going through so much herself, meant everything to us.
Working with Corey was a dream from start to finish. Even though we live out of state, we’ll absolutely be flying her out for any future photography needs. She's that good. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who will deliver not only stunning photos, but an unforgettable, joy-filled experience—you’ve found her. Corey is truly the best in the game.

There are not enough words to express how truly wonderful Corey has been! From the very first e-mail Corey was invested in our small elopement and made us feel like a priority. We had the pleasure of working with her for our engagement photo session and elopement. Her work is absolutely stunning and her personality is even better. She has an ability to make you feel like her closest friend within only minutes of meeting and that translates into the photos. I can honestly say we have found our forever photographer. A three and a half our drive is nothing to ensure all of our special moments are captured by Corey. Corey genuinely cares about her clients and her final product, I am still in awe of the images she captured. -

Corey is the BEST. If I could give her 500 stars, I would!
I initially hired a different photography company, but due to some mishaps with that photographer, I had to find a new photographer for my wedding with only 3 weeks left to the big day! Luckily my wedding planner has Corey on speed dial and quickly put me in contact with her. Corey was so nice and even gave up other plans to answer my SOS!
Corey was communicative from the very beginning and was so professional and personal; she even worked with me to come up with payment options since I was still working on getting my money back from the other company.
The day of, Corey showed up right on time, if not early, and she immediately ran through the game plan and got to work. She was directing posed photos while also getting candid photos and they all turned out SO wonderfully. Throughout the night, I had numerous guests come up to me during the reception and tell me how great my photographer was! Even before seeing any photos, everyone knew Corey was a wonderful photographer. After seeing and sharing the photos, I had many more people saying our pictures deserved to be in magazines - and they do because of the quality of work that Corey produces. What a huge compliment!
We had mountains, motorcycles, dogs, cookie, and sweatpants and Corey knew how to photograph all of it! She got so many wonderful photos of our guests. She edited what I asked to be edited and gave us even more than we could have asked for. Do not pass on an opportunity to work with Corey, she is absolutely tremendous! -

Corey Cagle Photography is top notch. From the day we booked with her, to having an engagement session included in my package to get to know her and which type of photos we liked, to the wedding day. She was with us from the beginning and captured every single detail so well. Not to mention how quickly she was able to to get the sneak peek photos back to us, and then our wedding photos. She also takes direction very well. Highly recommend as the photos we got back were amazing! -

Our wedding planner sent us a few recommendations for a wedding photographer for our November wedding at the Grove Park Inn, and after looking at each of their websites and portfolios, Corey was the clear choice for us!
From me: I cannot say enough good things about Corey - she kept us on time, got every shot (and more) that I asked for, was responsive to emails, and, most of all, fun. You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day, and even though we were just meeting for the first time, she made everything comfortable and was just so much fun to be around. Everyone who worked with her that day loved her! I would highly recommend her!
From my husband: Corey was patient, kind, and understanding that there are men out there that don’t want 1000 pictures taken of them. Coming from someone who does not always enjoy that type of experience, she and Sean made it extremely enjoyable. Given that, she made this a tremendous experience for both of us.
We love Corey and Sean and we feel so lucky to have had them as part of our team on the best day ever. We cannot recommend them enough! -

Corey & her husband are phenomenal people and fantastic photographers. My now husband & I are not fans of posing for photos, but Corey made the wedding day incredible and enjoyable. At times I didn’t even know she was there taking photos. Getting our 1,693 album back only three weeks later, and looking through the captured moments that show a wide range of emotions & who we are as people, is a moment I will cherish forever. Looking through photos of our loved ones’ joy is also such a gift. I told her that I cared the most about capturing memories of our family together, especially our older relatives, and she delivered. My husband and I got married at the Conservatory/Walled Garden on Biltmore Estate on June 11th, 2022. We hired Corey to be our wedding photographer and we are so happy we did. Corey really went above and beyond our expectations. She was amazing to work with and worked so hard. Shawn helped out as Corey’s assistant and we were happy to work with him too because he was awesome as well. You can really tell she loves what she does and knows exactly what to do to get the best pictures! Her reactions to our pictures and how she would get emotional at times was so touching. They even took videos throughout the day since we didn’t have a videographer which was priceless and we are so thankful to have them! It was so sweet of them to do! They really helped out with everything and not just with our pictures and we are so appreciative for that! We also enjoyed working with her again the day after the wedding (we did not do a “first look”) where she captured beautiful pictures of my husband and I around the estate! We are so happy she was our photographer and we hope to use her again in the future! -

Corey Cagle Photography provided an amazing experience resulting in an epic photoshoot beyond our dreams! We contacted Corey to help us bring to life our vision of a unique destination engagement photoshoot. We wanted a waterfall out of state destination shoot that incorporated specific aspects of our heritage and capturing our love for each other and nature. She went above and beyond to make this dream come true! From the first contact she was super responsive, communicative, transparent, very reasonable/affordable and shared our excitement and had great knowledge of our desired destination down to which fallen tree would provide a great background and the best time of day to capture the right lighting! When it came time to perform, she did not disappoint. She and her assistant were in time, prepared, attentive and met the challenges of an outdoor nature shoot amongst a powerful waterfall. She took her time to patiently and creatively direct us thru pur vision. The result....omg!.....photos of a lifetime!! We and our family/friends were blown away....looked like a fairytale book cover...captured everything we wanted to convey and more! Highly recommend!! She produced magic! -

Excellent photos
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Corey. She photographed my tropical luau wedding in the mountains. Corey captured the atmosphere of our wedding, which was fun and laid back. She took great pictures of the venue and our families mingling and laughing. There were so many areas to chose from to take pictures. I would definitely book her again and definitely ask her to wear her tropical outfit. She fit right in with my wedding. -

Corey is so sweet and easy to work with. She has so many ideas and makes the process fun. We had a blast taking pictures with her. In love with our photos! We booked Corey Cagle within 30 days of our intimate wedding at Biltmore. Long story short, our original plans of an international destination wedding in May turned into a spontaneous event in NC. We are from Michigan and have never been to Asheville before; so, needless to say, we checked out many photography vendors without any bias attached. The communication among Corey and I for the short timeframe was professional, timely, and sincere. It was a bit nerve-wracking booking someone we did not know, in a city we have never been, and especially after losing money from our original wedding plans. She made the process smooth and reassuring; which is appreciated during these times. She knew the grounds of the estate like the back of her hand - which we definitely wanted since we had never been there! She was so patient throughout our day and captured many beautiful memories. Our gallery was uploaded within a timely manner and did not disappoint!!! I melt just looking at our photos. She truly makes you feel at ease when taking pictures... she provides guidance, but does not direct- which makes for more natural/intimate looking photos! I wish we lived much closer so she could do our maternity / baby / family photos! We recommend Corey, no doubt about it!

Hiring Corey was probably one of the best decisions I made through our wedding! Despite everything happening, she was on board and completely available for anything and every question I had. I did a photo shoot with her prior to the wedding, and instead of rushing to get it done, she allowed us to take our time and feel completely comfortable with her behind the camera. At the wedding, when all we wanted to do was say hello to everyone, she made sure to keep us on point to get these beautiful photos we're going to love and cherish for the rest of our lives (and she delivered them back to us so quickly and easily!). WOW! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH: Corey was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Finding and working with vendors for a destination wedding can be difficult and time consuming, but Corey made it SO easy. From our first phone call, she was professional and knowledgeable, and made sure she knew exactly what we were looking for in our wedding photos. She was incredibly flexible- she took phone calls while on vacation to talk through wedding-day details and was always quick to respond to emails. Her flexibility persisted throughout our entire wedding day. She easily fit in with our loud/weird wedding party, but also worked incredibly well with our more reserved grandparents and older guests. She took picture requests when time permitted, but also knew when we needed to push on. She also has a knack for adding a personal flare. For example, there was a moment of comedic relief involving a very loud fire truck causing our officiant to pause mid-ceremony. While taking pictures downtown, Corey noticed a fire truck pulling into the fire station nearby and made sure we snapped a photo in front of it. Her candid photos are stunning, her attention to detail is impeccable, and she captured our personalities beautifully. I am SO happy with our wedding photos and cannot recommend her enough. Corey did a great job of handling our wedding from start to finish. She did a phenomenal job of touring us around the photo spots at our venue, as well as putting us at ease and ensuring we enjoyed the process. This was great, especially since I’m uncomfortable in front of a camera, but she made the day enjoyable throughout. Our second shooter Tori was also excellent, and the quality of photos the two of them took were beyond our expectations. We really cannot recommend them enough. -

Let me first start off and explain how freaked out my husband is out getting his pictures taken. You know that one person who can smile so cute, but if they see a camera, the smile turns into this freaked out grin, with big teeth, and scared terror in their eyes...that’s him. He doesn’t photograph well, and he knows it. So finding the right photographer for the wedding day was my worst fear, because I wanted those amazing photos, but his camera smile...made me wanna cry, almost didn’t book a photographer. We even found three friends who took our engagement photos everywhere, just to practice, and he was grumpy and miserable the whole time, he hates the camera. What was I supposed to do for the wedding day?! Corey came recommended by our wedding planner Mary Bell, who is simply the best. We talked for a few hours on the phone discussing my issues, wants, needs, and even Game of Thrones. She tried to talk me down from how sad I was about his camera smile. Which only grew worse after getting the engagement photos. I honestly have no idea what she did on my wedding day, if she hypnotized him, bribed him, who knows, but on the wedding day, he felt so comfortable, relaxed, and had his smile from our first date on his face the entire night. Yes, you are thinking he is happy because it’s our wedding day, nah huh, he was 3 days into the flu, he was miserable, man-flu you know. But Corey had this presence around her that just light up a room! She took so many photos that it’s the toughest thing to narrow down my top 100! She was nonstop getting all these amazing photos. And after a couple photos, she would check the last couple of shots before moving on, or restaging, and she would just give out these contagious giggles, giddy jumps, and almost wanna cry eyes face because she was able to capture an amazing photo. She truly loves doing her job. And that shows! It spread through the entire day and night. She made my husband feel so relaxed, giddy, and so carefree. It took all i had to not cry that day, because she made me feel like a beautiful princess. Yes, I was in a white dress, but I didn’t feel comfortable. She gave me these boosts of confidence that lasted all night. The photos turned out amazing, that I bawled my eyes out at work. She knows just the best angels and shot ideas! Thanks to Corey, I have thousands off photos that show how perfect my wedding day was. I would never have gotten these amazing photos with his smile if it weren't for Corey. I owe her so much, that I will never be able to repay her. She truly is amazing. I love this woman. Book her, you will never regret it.

We met up with her before our rehearsal on Friday for a very belated engagement shoot (our scheduling issue, not Corey) and had so much fun getting to know her and vice-versa. She was there with us during our rehearsal dinner and bonfire party and you would have never known that she was there!! The day of, she was such a calming presence for me. Photos were quick, fun and DIFFERENT - which I adored. She stayed till the very end (we went over by about 45 minutes - oops) and anyone or anything in the place that was photo worthy I am certain she got it. Corey and her assistant were everywhere - but they were stealth and non-intrusive. By the end it was like she was part of the party!! Again, she was amazing and I would recommend her to anyone that's getting married anywhere in the country. So easy and laid back - why wouldn't someone want to work with a photographer like that!?! Can't wait to see my proofs :)
