Fr. Jason recently officiated our wedding on 6/24/23. I was raised Catholic and my husband is not religious. Fr. Jason was a perfect compromise for us and my mom, who really wanted us to have a religious ceremony (her preference would have been a full catholic mass). Fr. Jason worked with us on picking readings and created a ceremony for us that was a good combination of religion and spirituality. It felt very personal to us and we could not have asked for a better officiant. We got lots of compliments about how great the service was. Fr. Jason was a highlight of our wedding day for sure! I don't think you could find a nicer man to officiate your wedding. -

Father Jason was an incredible find when looking for a officiant for our wedding. We wanted to have the Catholic traditions in our ceremony but also celebrate it outside. Father Jason was extremely prompt and easy to work with during the entire process. He made everything easy and not stressful and the ceremony he performed was everything I could hope for. I highly recommend Father Jason! -

The best officiant for all ceremonies!!
Father Jason was a perfect officiant for our ceremony. He was able to blend in aspects of a Catholic ceremony while also keeping it very personal to us and our relationship. We met with him multiple times and he was very receptive to our wants and needs and crafted the most perfect ceremony. -

Fr. Jason was unbelievable. I can’t believe how special he made our day. My wife and I wanted to have religion in our wedding while at the same time having a ceremony outside of the church. Being Catholics our whole life, this was a challenge for us and our families. But when Fr. Jason stepped into the process of our special day I knew all our worries were solved with his kindness, ability; and attention to every detail. Thanks again Fr. Jason as I wish you the best with all things post our special day. -

Father Jason was wonderful! We wanted to have a Catholic wedding ceremony but not a full mass, and one that allowed for a little more flexibility such as not having the ceremony in a church and adding readings that were not scripture. Father Jason was more than happy to accommodate our preferences into the ceremony and make it our own. He was very friendly, positive, and easy to work with. Absolutely recommend! -

Father Jason was fantastic! We would highly recommend him. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and put together a gorgeous ceremony and an excellent homily. He made the planning process easy and was willing to meet with us as often as we could like. He assisted us in picking our readings and was great at answering all of our questions. We're so glad we picked Father Jason to officiate our wedding! He was amazing! -

I'm so glad we hired Father Jason to be our officiant. He was a calming presence throughout the planning process and helped us put together a nice ceremony when we weren't sure what to do. He was able to meet with us whenever we needed via video calls and nailed down all the details. During the ceremony he had a good loud speaking voice so everyone could hear and injected enough personality into the proceedings to keep things fun without distracting from the ceremony. He also didn't drone on and on during the homily like some officiants I've seen and got the ceremony finished on time. Several people at the wedding commented to me how much they enjoyed him at the ceremony, from young people to stodgy older religious people, so you know he was hitting the sweet spot. Couldn't be happier we went with him! -

Father Jason was an amazing officiant for our wedding. Professional, caring, and approachable. We were very happy that he was aware of traditional Filipino Catholic practices and incorporated these elements in our ceremony. Fr. Jason was an amazing officiant for our wedding. My fiance and I are both Catholic so it was nice to have a priest officiate our wedding at our venue. Fr Jason was very professional and friendly and offers free pre-marital sessions as frequent as you would like leading up to the wedding. He was also flexible and very responsive. He made our wedding so special and personal and we received a lot of compliments. -

The best!
AMAZING! We had a contemporary wedding ceremony and Father Jason's words had the perfect balance of eloquence and hilarity. The ceremony was personal, thoughtful and had the exact amount of religion that we wanted. The wedding guests (and bride and groom) were laughing and crying. We really couldn't imagine it going any better. We had multiple guests ask how we met Father Jason because their reaction to the ceremony was that we'd known him for a long time. Guests were also asking how they could connect with Father Jason to book him for their own ceremony. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND FATHER JASON!!!! -

Fr. Jason was such a blessing to us this weekend (and the many months leading up to this weekend). My wife and I wanted a contemporary wedding with light religious elements, and he customized a ceremony that hit all of the marks, and then some.
There were many times when my wife and I didn't exactly know what we wanted, and Fr. Jason made great suggestions and helped guide us through the ceremony planning process. At no point was he ever overbearing. He never tried to use some cookie-cutter ceremony outline; on the contrary, he specialized everything just for us. We felt very taken care of, which was invaluable during such a hectic period of our lives!
Fr. Jason was easy to communicate with—my wife and I had many video calls with him leading up to the ceremony. We also had a really positive call with him where he gave us some general advice on marriage that we will remember for the rest of our lives together.
We look forward to continuing our relationship with Fr. Jason going forward! Until the next time, Father, thank you! -

Father Jason Lody created a ceremony that went above and beyond our expectations! Regarding the first meeting with Father Jason, my husband and I noticed immediately the kind and light-hearted mannerisms Father Jason had, putting both of us at ease. He is extremely easy to talk to and truly listens to what is being said. We decided to book him and liked the fact that his fee goes straight to the church. We opted for the counseling sessions, and he was extremely open and allowed us to discuss what we felt were areas that were strongest and those that could use improvement in a safe space. He allows us, for the most part, to determine how many sessions we want, what the topics of discussion will be, and advice/previous experiences. I was concerned when he said he doesn’t attend rehearsal dinners and he simply responded, “don’t think just repeat after me on that day and you’ll be fine!”. Sure enough, he was right! For the day of, he came an hour early to help set up and to meet the wedding party. His ceremony – including two readings, a unity candle lighting, blessings, a short homily, exchange of rings and vows, etc – was about 30 minutes; that was the perfect amount of time and allowed the ceremony to be short, sweet, and to the point without a dry eye in the room! Guests afterwards praised his ceremony and thought it was “perfectly us” and “the right blend of romantic and religious”. We enjoyed his presence and what he taught us that now we attend his church! If in the area, I would highly recommend Father Jason for a truly customizable ceremony that will fit any vision for the big day!

Heather Sent on 06/20/2018Fr. Jason did the most amazing job officiating our ceremony! We could not have asked for more!
He was extremely responsive throughout the entire process to questions and requests. In one instance, we had to reschedule a meeting to discuss the ceremony format because my grandmother was ill. Not only was Fr. Jason extremely accommodating and willing to reschedule, he also told me during our meeting that he and his congregation had prayed for my grandmother's health. This meant the world to me, to know that my wedding officiant truly had my family's best interests at heart!
During the day of the wedding, he was timely and eloquent, and he provided a little comic relief at all the right moments. We asked for a handfasting ceremony in addition to the abbreviated Catholic ceremony, which he practiced for us and delivered beautifully!
Everything was absolutely perfect and we are so grateful to have had Fr. Jason officiate our wedding. -

Meghan Sent on 10/30/2017In short, Fr Jason Lody made our wedding ceremony incredibly personal and engaging, and we feel so very lucky to have had him officiate. If Fr. Jason is available for your wedding, I cannot imagine anyone better to officiate your ceremony and be present as you begin your marriage. Our absolute favorite part was when he paused and encouraged us to look out at our family and friends smiling back at us. It allowed us to truly absorb the moment and for me, see everyone for the first time, since my laser focus all the way up the aisle was on my groom. After a sweet moment with just my husband and I just after the ceremony, Fr. Jason took a selfie with us and confirmed his plan to send out the signed marriage license (which he did the following day). So many guests asked if he was our parish priest, and how long we knew him. Every guest felt that the mass was simply “us,” which is all we could’ve hoped for.
We cannot say enough about him and plan to visit him in Centreville as frequently as we can. THANK YOU, FATHER JASON! -
