Christin was an AMAZING makeup artist for my wedding weekend! She was very communicative, very professional and so SO nice - she made me feel so comfortable while I was having jitters throughout the weekend. Her work is incredible - both nights my makeup looked amazing and everything lasted well into the night. She was able to work on different looks for me for two different events that were still cohesive and she was able to execute exactly what I was trying to envision for my looks. I would absolutely hire her for any events where makeup is needed. -

Christin is an incredible artist. She really made me feel so special and beautiful for my engagement shoot and wedding. After her work, I felt like the best version of myself. Christin is simply the best! When you hire a vendor for your wedding, you want them to be amazing at their craft, AND a pleasure to work with and be around -- and Christin is most definitely both! She was so kind and understanding as I navigated my initial decision-making around hair and makeup, providing advice and sending me recommendations to consider; she was incredibly responsive all along the way; she uses an easy online invoice payment system (this seems small, but it's not when you're navigating so many vendors with so many different invoice systems), and most of all, she's super talented...she made me, my bridesmaids, and my mom and mother-in-law feel like soft glam goddesses! Oh and she also learned I had never gotten my eyebrows threaded and that I wanted to prior to the wedding -- so she recommended a great salon and then went with me because I said I was nervous -- just so, so sweet -

I hired Christin (of Conceptual Beauty) for my makeup and hair services for my wedding, engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and bridal shower and it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! Not only is Christin an incredibly talented makeup artist, but she is a very good listener and really took into account everything I was struggling to explain about my preferences for how I wanted my makeup to be. My makeup turned out exactly how I wanted it. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law also loved how their makeup turned out. Our makeup lasted all night. On top of that, Christin is VERY fun and relaxing to be around (do not underestimate the importance of this quality on your wedding day!) Her makeup products are all top notch and her kit and materials were clean and organized). She is extremely reliable and flexible. Chris also found me an awesome hairstylist (Sarah Richards). I have already referred her to all my friends for their makeup needs and look forward to a long and happy working relationship with her (and Sarah) any time I need makeup or hair services in the future! -

Wonderful experience
Working with Christin was such a positive experience from start to finish. She made me feel comfortable throughout the session, and her smile and sense of humor also calmed my wedding jitters. I felt beautiful at my wedding, got a ton of compliments, and the photos turned out great. I would highly recommend Christin to anyone looking for an expert makeup artist! -

After other plans did not work out, I was last minute looking for a makeup artist for my wedding (1 and a half weeks before) and Christin was available. She came through!! Our trial went fabulously and she was super easy to communicate with- she immediately relieved all of the stress I had around finding a makeup artist. She gave me some skin care tricks ahead of the big day. Day of, she did a beautiful job on me as well as all of my bridesmaids and my mother. She was so fun to work with, and matched our vibe when we were getting ready in the morning. She made all of us feel like the best versions of ourselves, inside and out! I would highly recommend her to any and everyone! She was a bit expensive but after working with another makeup artist that cost less and did not work out, I would say it is 100% worth splurging a bit! -

Christin says on her Instagram that she specializes in “soft glam for everyone” and there could not be a more perfect way to describe my makeup. When I booked her, she immediately set up a call to discuss my skin type, desired look, and any other important details for her to know before doing my makeup. When a hurricane caused me to request to reschedule our date literally the day before, she did not hesitate to respond immediately early on a Sunday morning! The morning of, she had a full setup in my apartment at 5:30 am that even included a light. She followed all safety precautions in this COVID-19 world and I never felt nervous or unsure about her sanitation practices. Christin was absolutely a perfectionist and my makeup made me look like the best version of myself. I would absolutely recommend her for anyone looking to get their makeup done for a special occasion!

So grateful for working with Christin
Christin was so incredibly lovely to work with for my recent microwedding, and I couldn't recommend working with her more highly. I reached out within a week of my wedding to see if she had availability on a Monday - within 2 business hours, we had a phone chat to make arrangements for makeup, and she connected me with a colleague to do my hair when her team was unavailable on such short notice. I was primarily concerned with health and safety for both of us, given current events, and wanted to be sure we were able to wear masks when we were within six feet of each other. Christin was so helpful in figuring out what could work - and she literally ended up doing the top half of my makeup while we both remained masked, and then coached me through the bottom half of my face, using her products. (She was extraordinarily detailed in her coaching - I don't usually wear much makeup and don't know how to use these products!) She was so flexible and willing to find something that I was comfortable with and would help me look and feel my best - and I did. And her positive energy really set the tone for the day. She has my highest recommendation and so much gratitude. -

The absolute best!
Christin is the absolute best!!! She is kind, talented, professional and makes you look and feel absolutely beautiful! I couldn’t recommend her more for your wedding or any event.
I had a small wedding party (just my sister) and when I was doing research I found it hard to find makeup & hair artists who would accept me as a client--OR were very slow to respond or provide information. Christin doesn’t require a minimum amount of individuals and was engaging and responsive from Day 1. She made me feel valued even before I was her client, and didn’t rush me when I said I wasn’t ready to commit to anything immediately. I did another trial with someone else first because I thought it was a good deal...but trust me; you get what you pay for. It also made me see the value and importance of professional makeup, and honestly with her expertise and experience Christin is a steal! I appreciated her kindness and patience while I figured this all out on my own. When we finally met in person for the bridal trial she blew me and my sister away with not only her skills, but her warm and hilarious personality. In the months leading up to the wedding she was always incredibly responsive and helpful anytime I had a question. When my hair stylist fell through only a few weeks before the wedding, Christin was able to secure a very talented and experienced stylist (Britiny the Hair Concierge) for us quickly. On the wedding day, they were a ton of fun while getting ready and their work kept us looking and feeling beautiful all day.
When planning your wedding it can be tempting to cut corners on things to try and save money, but makeup should definitely not be in that category. It should be viewed as an investment in yourself and the day, and the relationship between you and your bridal beauty team really helps set the tone for the day. I couldn't have chosen a better bridal beauty team if I tried! They were the best and I wished I could work with Christin every day.
10/5 stars, A+++, two thumbs up....basically, just do yourself a favor and book Christin and her team now :) -

I never wear makeup and was worried I wouldn’t look like myself at my wedding, but from my first call with Christin I knew I was in good hands. She did such an amazing job and I kept receiving compliments all night on how beautiful my makeup looked. It was natural and but glamorous. My hair was also a huge hit!!!! I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair but with a few pictures and an expert artist, Conceptual Beauty delivered exactly what I didn’t know was perfect for my hair. I asked for minor adjustments from my trial run, and it looked incredible on my wedding day. The hours getting ready with conceptual beauty was some of the most fun I had on my wedding day. Christin’s personality is so kind and fun. I also need to mention that while preparing for my wedding, she responded within minutes of any email I sent, even the ones at late hours or on the weekends. I cannot recommend Conceptual Beauty highly enough!!!! -

Upon meeting Christin at the trial, I knew I had found someone who had the expertise to execute my vision. She and her team are professional and know their stuff- she is also fun to talk to, has great taste in music, and is easy to be around- which is important when you spend hours together on an otherwise stressful day. She worked in a timely manner, kept me calm, built a schedule, and tailored her work for ladies with different skin tones and face shapes, knowing exactly what flattered each the most. I honestly felt so beautiful but also felt like MYSELF- a really enhanced version of me ;) As someone who does not wear makeup often, she surpassed my expectations! What more could a bride ask for? -

I appreciated her talent, products she used, and ability to understand my overall "look" without much direction from me! Christin did the makeup for me, my mom and sister, and my bridesmaids and was ahead of schedule, prompt, and professional (and so much fun)!
