Amanda was amazing! She was there for every step of the process as we got close to our day. She always answered our questions and was very helpful the day before and day of. If you’re deciding whether or not to hire a planner, just do it. It’s worth the cost because we were able to enjoy our day.
Our cake was accidentally thrown out and Amanda reached out to our baker to have them make us another one. It was really nice of her and we appreciate that she went out of her way to do that for us. We love you Amanda!!! -

We loved working with Amanda as our month of coordinator! We got engaged in August and wanted a fall wedding so we were a bit pressed for time. We had all our venues locked down but, as we got close to the date, I knew we would struggle without the help of a coordinator when it came to the details, setting up the spaces, and cleaning up - despite it being a smaller wedding. Luckily Amanda was available to help us and she thought of so many little things we had forgotten or hadn't thought of - like the liquor license for the welcome dinner, ideas for how to set up the ceremony space the night before, and many other details (like adjusting my dress at the altar because I didn't have bridesmaids!). When I asked her if she'd have enough to do since it was a smaller wedding with simple decor, she pointed out that she often does more in these cases than when there is a large vendor team to manage. And she was right - she was often in two places at once and was a lifesaver! -

Wonderful Experience
We opted for the "month of" wedding coordination services with Amanda for our wedding at Meridian House and had a wonderful experience. Amanda met with us about a month out from the wedding date and she mostly focused on planning a detailed timeline for the day. As we got closer to the date, she also helped coordinate some additional logistics (like picking up small decor items and bringing those directly to the venue). She also helped us navigate some tricky conversations during our walk-through and advocated for us when our catering company was giving us a hard time about some items. And on the day of, she was so organized, kind, calm and set up everything beautifully! Amanda always responded quickly to our e-mails and was very organized, and on top of that, she really made us feel comfortable with her warmth and her kindness. -

Her responsiveness and communication skills were top-notch, as she effectively liaised with us and all our vendors. Amanda was amazing! She took care of all the details so that i could focus on being a bride. She stuck to the timeline (i was very concern about the timeline since everything was so tight). She also helped unpacked and packed all my decorations - it was a very busy day and she handled all by herself! All my guests commented what a great wedding coordinator she was . She is sweet, and has a very calm demeanor. -

Above and beyond!
We hired Amanda as our month-of-coordinator after already signing contracts and getting things in place with our other vendors, and I knew immediately from her sweet and laid back personality that she was going to be wonderful to work with! Our venue was pretty strict with arrival and departure times, and she managed to make our big day flow so smoothly within those parameters- and other unexpected circumstances, like the rainy weather from Hurricane Ian on our wedding weekend! (I didn't end up being stressed about the rain, surprisingly, thanks to Amanda reassuring that we would still be able to make it all work and have the wedding of our dreams despite the rain- and we did). Her attention to detail was truly amazing: she even went above and beyond when I accidentally left an overnight bag at the venue, by driving there and back again to my hotel that night, to make sure I had it! There was one point in the weeks leading up to our wedding where we were a little concerned about responsiveness (she was handling multiple weddings at the time) but after expressing our concern to Amanda, she was so professional in her response and we had nothing to worry about afterwards!
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would 10/10 recommend hiring Amanda for your wedding! She will make your day so easy and fun! -

We hired Colorfully Yours Events for partial planning for our May 2022 wedding. I didn't realize how much there is to do the weeks leading up and I couldn't have done it without Amanda. She worked seamlessly with all of my vendors and helped manage our over 20 person wedding party. I'm so impressed with her professionalism, organization, and patience - especially when we had to make several last minute changes due to rain. I highly recommend her!! -

We hired Amanda for "month-of" coordination and she was a lifesaver through two COVID postponements and when we finally got to have our wedding! She helped with vendor communication, making sure everything was done in advance, reminding me of the millions of details I otherwise would never have thought of, day-of set-up and clean-up, and keeping everything running smoothly for the best wedding! She's very friendly and has a calm demeanor and I would recommend her to anyone! I had the ideal wedding day where I didn't have to think about any of the details and could just sit back and enjoy the party, and Amanda was the worker behind the scenes who made that happen. -

From the very start, Amanda (at Colorfully Yours) was absolutely phenomenal. She was always professional, courteous, and valued my time. We chatted a few times on the phone and via email and she always responded right away. I was incredibly blown away by our first in-person planning meeting as Amanda went above and beyond and thought of things I never did. I chose the "month of coordination" package and couldn't be happier. I already had a vision and Amanda and her assistant executed it perfectly! I wanted a very specific setup for the tables, all of which were different. I sent some pictures to Amanda and viola, it turned out incredible with little guidance from me! Amanda truly went above and beyond in more ways than one. I would absolutely recommend her and am so grateful for her! Our wedding was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing! -

Amanda and her team at Colorfully Yours were absolutely amazing and the best choice we made when planning our wedding. When we told Amanda what we wanted from a vendor, she presented the best possible options and contracts for us. As a couple new to the area, it was a weight off our shoulders to have someone on our team with so many connections to local vendors and insight to the NOVA wedding scene. When COVID forced us to change our plans, Amanda immediately reassured us that she knew exactly how to guide us through changing plans, and she certainly did! After working with her for months, Amanda felt like a trusted friend, and she certainly fit the part. Amanda and her team had our back and ensured vendors understood what we were looking for. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful despite the change in plans, and she was a boss on our wedding weekend providing guidance to all our wedding party. The Colorfully Yours team was incredibly professional, and we could not be any happier with their work. We would recommend Amanda and her team to anyone and everyone planning a wedding. -

Amanda turned our visions to reality. Weddings during these times are extremely challenging and we needed someone with exceptional knowledge and flexibility, Amanda and her team was it. She helped us with details that we would've overlooked, coordinated with all our vendors on our changes, participated on our vendor calls, and helped set up our entire outdoor wedding. We had many nuances that were part of the wedding; a DIY decor U-haul, potential inclement weather, two MC's, multiple dessert vendors, and Amanda handled it all. We can't thank her enough :)

I had the opportunity to work with Amanda as a vendor for a very large wedding recently. I was a guest at the wedding in addition to the cake baker, and Amanda made sure each detail was in place to ensure my set up was smooth and I could make it to the ceremony on time. She communicated clearly in the days leading up to the event, and was so friendly. I recommend her for any size event! -

We could not have pulled off our special day without Amanda by our side! We had the month of package, and Amanda came through with whatever we missed. Amanda was available frequently, and didn't even mind that we planned our wedding entirely from out of state. She helped guide us with things we didn't know we even needed, and made sense of things that we were vague about. She helped to navigate our families wonderfully and keep the entire day running smoothly. Amanda never once appeared stressed or worried, and it totally helped to keep a great mood for the entire time. Amanda was an absolute DREAM to work with!!! She made the entire process so easy and was very proactive in making sure our vision came to life. Her personality is very calming and she will make sure you have the perfect day. I feel so lucky that I got to enjoy every second of my weekend because I didn’t have to worry about a thing!
