I cannot emphasize enough, run don't walk to booking Rachel!! From our initial emails Rachel made me feel right at home and worked with me every step of the way. I am not a huge makeup person but she worked with me to create my perfect look. Her services go far beyond makeup application on the day of your event. She spends time educating you on healthy skin, will offer product recommendations if needed, and check in with you to ease any nerves. She's super easy to connect with and made me and all the members of my bridal party comfortable. As for service on my wedding day, my makeup came out beautiful on the wedding day and I've never felt better. Can't thank Rachel enough!

Simply the best.
Rachel and her team are the best around for make-up and her positivity is contagious. She will make you feel comfortable and beautiful the entire time. And my girls who were in my wedding LOVED HER and her team for their own make-up as well. Rachel is my favorite of anyone who's ever done my make-up (in my whole life) and I'm so so happy I chose her for my big day. I 👏🏻 can 👏🏻 not 👏🏻 stress 👏🏻 enough. You need to book Rachel for your wedding day makeup. During my trial I showed Rachel how I normally wear my makeup - not only did Rachel take what I was comfortable with - BUT MAKE IT GLAM - every single person in my wedding party looked so so beautiful and amazing! Looking back at my pictures I feel like I looked like the best glammed out super model version of myself. Rachel and her team were so wonderful to work with, it felt like my best friends were doing my makeup.

Amazing makeup artist!
I cannot recommend Rachel as a makeup artist highly enough. Coming from someone who doesn’t know much about beauty and makeup, it was amazing to have her visualize the wedding look of my dreams from my inexperienced lens and bring that to life — and then some. From day one in reaching out to see if she was available for my wedding, Rachel was the calming, reassuring and informative expert voice I needed to make my wedding day a success. On the day of my makeup trial, she took the time to understand what I was looking for and then bring that vision to life. On the morning of the big day, she took the time with each of my bridesmaids and myself — we all absolutely loved our makeup, and each of my bridesmaids raved about how well it lasted through the day. As just the calming voice you need on the morning of your wedding, Rachel was able to take on board a last-minute addition with ease. Simply put, Rachel cares about her brides and their tribe. Amazing Makeup and Talented Professional!
Rachel is awesome! In late October I contacted Rachel to travel with me for my destination wedding in St.Lucia in February. I did not think there was a chance that she would be able to go on only a few months notice. After reaching out to her, I got an immediate response of interest not only in traveling and working together but a personal interest on hearing my story and all the wedding changes we had been through with Covid, this alone speaks

If you want to feel like an absolute STAR on your wedding day – go book Rachel right now! I am an out-of-state bride, so I was relying heavily on the before and after photos of makeup artists. Rachel is a true magician and I promise you the photos are a true reflection of her work. I have been in multiple weddings – and one thing that stood out about Rachel on my own wedding day is that she helped out with all of my girls! I had seven bridesmaids, my mother and my mother-in-law and Rachel was involved in everyone, so you really are getting her work throughout! I hadn’t had this experience with other makeup artists in weddings that I was in – so it goes to show you how passionate and caring Rachel is about her work. Amazing!! Best Makeup Artist Around
I dont even know where to start this review. My experience with Rachel and Color Me Gorgeous was perfect. I didn’t know much about the makeup industry and I was referred to Rachel by someone else. I booked a trial with her and fell in love. She is extremely sweet and did an amazing job. She answered any questions I had beforehand and ensured I received exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. There was a snowstorm the day of my wedding and the roads were awful but Rachel kept me updated (which helped a lot with my stress levels) and ensured she arrived as quickly as she could to ensure all of my girls got their makeup done and felt beautiful. Her assistant Grace was very nice and helpful as well. All of my girls loved their makeup and we were receiving compliments all night. My favorite part was that Rachel saved my make up for last and spent extra time on my look to really perfect it. She really loves and cares about her brides and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to do my make up for such a special day. I can’t say thank you enough!!! And if you’re questioning whether or not to book Color Me Gorgeous, DO IT!

Rachel was nothing short of perfect for our wedding!! She is a true professional. She listens to your preferences and vision for your look and knows how to make you feel beautiful! Not sure where to even start. Rachel and her team not only made me feel beautiful, but made my friends feel their most beautiful self, seeing my friends cry over how they look after such a trying few years was more than I could ever ask for. Beyond expectations!
Absolutely amazing. I hired Rachel based off other amazing reviews for my initial 10/2020 wedding. When we postponed due to COVID, Rachel was super understanding and easily transferred everything to our new date.
As for the day of, Rachel and her assistant, Grace, were amazing. They really listed to everyone getting their makeup done, and created amazing looks. I was a little nervous about my makeup being heavy and there were a few things I wanted to change from our trial look, and Rachel took all of my concerns on board and created an absolutely beautiful look that was perfect. Not too heavy, we’ll blended, and glamorous without being over the top. She was also super easygoing and her calm vibe really kept myself and the rest of bridal party calm during a day that is full of moving parts and stress. I cannot say enough good things about her!!

Beautiful Bridal Makeup!
Rachel did an AMAZING job with bridal makeup for my wedding on 09/11/21. She did my makeup, as well as 5 bridesmaids and my mom. Originally, she was booked for my June wedding date, so when I moved it to Sept because of covid, I was thrilled that she was available! She is incredible and books up quickly because of her talent, so make sure to reach out ASAP!
I wanted a very natural look and Rachel helped me create that vision. I have sensitive skin and she was very accommodating, and made sure to make me feel comfortable with the entire process. I got so many compliments the day of the wedding! And the bridesmaids looked STUNNING! My mom had never had professional makeup done and she looked and felt like a QUEEN!

I adored my wedding day makeup look thanks to Color Me Gorgeous!
One of the best decisions I made for my wedding day was hiring Rachel and her team at Color Me Gorgeous! Throughout the booking process, Rachel was incredibly professional and flexible with me. Rachel took the time to listen to my makeup preferences and any concerns I had. On the morning of my wedding, Rachel created an assembly line to get all 14 of us- yes 14- ready in a timely fashion. By using the assembly line, each girl had makeup freshly applied before we headed to the church. Rachel took the time to listen to each of my girls and made sure that their makeup was something they loved and felt comfortable in.
I cannot emphasize how much I loved the makeup I had on my wedding day. Rachel’s work exceeded my expectations and I can’t overstate the quality of her makeup artistry. It felt light and natural, like my skin could breathe. I really felt like the best version of myself on my wedding day thanks to Rachel’s magic touch! Not only is Rachel insanely talented at her craft- her bubbly, friendly personality sets her apart. She was such a calming and fun presence on my wedding morning. Rachel did my makeup twice, and was AMAZING both times! One was for a photoshoot, and the other was for our wedding. Rachel showed up, ready to roll, both times, with no excuses. For my photoshoot she was sick with food poisoning and still showed up! The makeup for my wedding was flawless, and it stayed on all day, through the crazy heat and humidity, and all the happy tears. The best decision I made 10/10
I booked Rachel for my wedding on 7/10/2021 and I could not be happier with my make up and the entire experience. Rachel worked with me to reschedule my wedding date during COVID and was accommodating to the needs of me and my 10 person bridal party. The morning of the wedding went seamless and Rachel had a calming presence which made me (the bride) and the rest of my crew very comfortable and not nervous! My make-up was so flawless all night and at 2AM when the wedding festivities finally ended it was still perfect. Highly recommend booking Rachel and Color Me gorgeous for your make-up!!!

A total dream
Rachel was amazing! My mom and I both did a trial with her a month or two before the wedding. It was really nice because we got familiar with her style and got to trial of make up experience. I wanted a bold, orangey red lipstick that would stay put but Rachel didn't have the perfect one for me. Rachel explained that she has well-versed at mixing color to create whatever we need but encouraged me to go home and find the perfect shade of lip that I wanted. When I found it and brought it to the wedding day, Rachel confirmed it was the perfect red! Otherwise, we all wanted simple, beautiful, fresh makeup and that is what we got! No one was upset with their makeup- everyone felt like their best selves.
When applying to make up the day of, she was in the background the entire morning working but didn’t interfere with us as we got ready and bonded. Every time a girl would go up to get her make up done they had an intimate chat session with her. When it was my time to go up, I was very overwhelmed at that point. She could tell that I was and said that it’s common that by the time the bride gets their make up done they are really anxious and overwhelmed. She did a breathing exercise with me and told all of the bridesmaids but this was a special time where we needed peace and not to interrupt her when doing my make up. It was a really valuable moment so I could re-center. I couldn’t believe how in tune Rachel was in that moment. She was the perfect grounding presence I needed.
Besides her amazing personality and flawless work ethic, her work is incredible! Every girl had the perfect soft glam look. All of our make up lasted throughout the evening. I slept with mine and even wore it to our day after party and it was still perfect including my eyelashes!
Rachel is inclusive, and makes you feel comfortable. She even offered to apply a thin layer of foundation on my very butch wife, who doesn't wear makeup ever. She didn't end up choosing to do this, but it was sweet that she offered!
I was so lucky I went with Rachel and would recommend her to anyone near and far. Believe the hype.

Rachel was recommended by another artist for my wedding day makeup. She was incredible, professional and easy to communicate with! My makeup came out so well and I got so many compliments. My whole bridal party had their makeup done by Rachel - Once people saw her work they also wanted their makeup done! She even graciously accommodated 2 unplanned bridesmaids. Amazing Virtual Lesson!
My mom and I both did virtual makeup lessons with Rachel. I normally don’t wear makeup so I was concerned about doing my own makeup for my microwedding this year. She made the process so easy and effortless! First we texted to figure out what makeup I needed to buy based on the natural look I was looking to achieve. Virtual Makeup -- Even for a Beginner!
Rachel from CMG was so flexible with us as COVID changed our plans. She worked with me (the bride), my sisters, and my mom to create customized makeup looks completely online, from product recommendations to virtual training sessions, coaching us through creating the looks ourselves to make sure we were ready for the big day. We are all makeup beginners, and Rachel empowered us to feel confident, authentic, and beautiful on my wedding day (not to mention my groom was floored). Let me just start by saying how wonderful Rachel has been from the very beginning. Rachel did my makeup for my engagement photos and she was very professional but very personable as well. She took her time in getting to know my husband and I's "how we met" story.
When it came to wedding day, she went out of her way to make my makeup EVEN MORE amazing than it was on the trial date. She took her time getting to know my bridesmaids with each session and Rachel is the type of person that you know she genuinely cares about her clients.
My MIL was against having her hair and makeup done and we showed her "Mom's Makeup" from Rachels instagram and she caved, she looked so beautiful and loved her make-up when she was finished.
Rachel goes above and beyond for her clients, and just as an example. One month before my wedding day, there was an issue and my hair vendor canceled on me. Rachel called me as soon as she heard and told me not to worry about finding another hair vendor, that she would find one for me. Not even a week later she texted me with two options and set up the trial for me in a matter of minutes. Rachel is the one you need for your wedding day - hands down!
Rachel Duncan is the sweetest, most talented person - I got so lucky when I chose to go with Color-Me-Gorgeous and I would recommend her to anyone looking for makeup services. I'm trying to find a way to use her again in the future - that's how amazing she is!

I would recommend CMG a million times over. I have had the joy of Rachel doing my makeup a few separate occasions now. I have loved her every time which is why I chose her for my bridal makeup! She is so professional and understands what look each of her clients is trying to achieve. She was incredible to work around having to change our date due to COVID. Color Me Gorgeous is a Dream Come True!!!!
Rachel and her team were so amazing!! They showed up early and helped create such a relaxed and fun environment for my bridal party while getting ready! She answered every crazy email and text that I sent her in a timely fashion and was always able to calm my nerves. I live in Boston and she is in New York, she drove all the way to Boston for my make up trial because we had to cancel the first one, and then traveled to Vermont for the actual wedding day . I would highly recommend her. I have never felt more beautiful in my life and what better day than on your Wedding Day to feel that way.

I don't even know where to begin... if I could give her 10 stars, I would. I hired a different artist and after some communication, realized she and I didn't vibe well so obviously I was a little anxious. Was given Rachel's name by my hair salon and by some miracle, she still had my date open with only 4 months left to go. Her instagram account already had me excited; she is so talented. She made arrangements to fit my trial in while I was home for my shower. When I met her, I couldn't be happier. She is so talented and makes you feel BEAUTIFUL. More than that though, she's interested in you and your love story which is the coolest thing. You can tell how much she loves what she does. On my wedding day, I could not have been happier to have her there. All of my girls and my mom looked amazing and felt great. She has such a calming vibe that just kept me calm all day. Plus, my makeup stayed put ALL DAY... in the heat, with tears, and lots of dancing. If you are lucky enough to secure a date with her, you will not be disappointed. Love her!

If you’ve been looking for a makeup artist in this area, seriously look no further! Rachel is wonderful. She was my third trial, and I couldn't have been happier to find her. I think all a bride could want on their wedding day is to look like the most beautiful version of themselves, and she made this happen for me. She set me at ease during both the trial and my wedding day. All my bridesmaids, my mom, and my husband’s mom felt beautiful and complimented Rachel on being so easy to hang out with the morning of! Here's a tip- always reach out to your dream vendors even if you think they're already booked! I've admired Rachel's work for a while but I just assumed she was busy and had a trial with another MUA that I wasn't happy with at all. A few weeks later Rachel posted that she still had MY date open and I messaged her immediately! I'm so glad I did because she made me feel like a princess throughout the whole process- from trial through the wedding day. She's fun to work with so incredibly talented. When I had questions for her, before and even during the wedding day (after she left) she was quick to respond. Stress pimple disappeared, makeup stayed on even in 98 degree heat, and I felt like the most gorgeous version of myself. I couldn't recommend her enough. For my wedding, I wanted to look like the best version of myself (not someone else) and that's exactly what Rachel delivered. I did a trial with her, which really helped both of us hone in on what I was looking for on the big day. I had such a great time with Rachel at my make-up trial and on my wedding day! She pampered me and my bridal party. We had a blast getting ready with her in the morning. She was flexible and accommodating for all the different make-up styles we requested. I really appreciated that she asked me questions throughout the process to ensure she was creating the look I wanted. It ended up perfect! I highly recommend Rachel!

I originally chose Rachel because she was one of the few vendors that was attentive and responsive right away. She answered to my emails and gave me SO much information, and was so patient with me because I truly had no idea what I was doing.
On the day of, she communicated about where she would be and at one time. She coordinated everything amongst the team and made my girls and I all feel flawless-- so that I could focus on the day that was happening in front of me, and not about how I looked or how my makeup with all the tears I couldn't help but shed that day. She also was very flexible and accommodating when I had family members that wanted to participate in hair and makeup last minute. Both she and Ashley are FANTASTIC. I could not recommend them more!

Amazing make up artist
I have known rachel since high school... middle school? Haha anyways she’s always been a nice fun girl, and seeing that she had a make up business I had to see what she could do. Now you can follow her on Instagram and see her work and it is AMAZING! I had to hire her to do the makeup for my girls and mother’s. On the day she arrived on time and had no trouble fitting in and chatting with everyone. No one felt awkward or nervous. Since I had a trial with her, I already knew how I wanted my makeup to look. If you’re still reading this review you should message her! She does amazing work and will change anything if you just ask!

After some frustrations finding a hair/makeup team for my wedding, I received Rachel as a recommendation from a friend. I could not be HAPPIER that I did! From my trial, to the day of my wedding Rachel made me feel comfortable, relaxed and of course beautiful. She's not only a talented artist, but she has a genuine, sweet personality and truly cares deeply about the work she does. She listens closely to what you want, and spends a lot of time with you making sure you get the exact look you wanted. Ashley is also amazing! Every girl's updo or hairstyle for the wedding came out looking exactly like they had wanted or described! She worked with my natural curl and kept me looking like myself which I loved. Rachel was simply amazing. She was so accommodating, informational and wonderful from trial to day of! My bridesmaids and I had stunning makeup from the second it was put on until the end of the night. Rachel is a true artist and a sweetheart. My 6 month old daughter was with me while I was getting ready and Rachel entertained her with mascara and brushes all while making me wedding ready! Fun + Glamorous Ladies!
Rachel and Ashley did an amazing job! My bridesmaids and I spent half the limo ride talking about how much fun we had with them. My friends are all athletes, we do not wear much make up nor do our hair but R+A understood our limited vocabulary and made us all glamorous. The looks they created also had amazing staying power lasting through our very long wedding day. Thank you ladies!

Rachel is amazing!
I met Rachel through my sister. I needed a makeup artist two days before my engagement photos in Oct. 2017. With luck, she had a morning opening. She glammed me up for my photos (that day was scorching, and my makeup DID NOT BUDGE) and I booked her right then and there for my wedding day!!! My trial with her was fantastic! The day of the wedding, she came in and glammed up my squad! She laughed, sang, and had fun with us! You want to book someone who you can click with, have fun with, on the morning of your wedding when you are full of excitement and nerves! Rachel is your girl! She is incredibly talented, and I can go on and on about how I am looking for a new event to go to so I can book her again! Again, I cannot stress enough how amazing she is! At the trial, she not only listened to what I wanted but was able to take what I found online and transition it into my own personal look. She did exactly what I was looking for and effortlesssly. The day of the wedding she was supportive, so friendly, and stuck to the timeline everyone needed to be on. I was not only blown away by my makeup, but byevery single girls makeuo that she did. She was able to do flawless makeup on girls of every skin tone. Skin type, and each one was gorgeous! Rachel was absolutely AMAZING! I would not hesitate to hire her! Not only is she talented, but she listens and really cares about making your vision a reality. She is also so on point that you will feel completely stress free in the beauty department on your wedding day.
I will start this review by saying that I am VERY, very picky with makeup. After a bad trial with another makeup artist I was even thinking of doing my own makeup until I stumbled upon Rachel's Instagram and liked what I saw. Rachel was extremely easy to get in touch with and to set up a trial with, she also introduced me to a hair stylist (Olya of Glamour AGoGo) who was also amazing. I felt immediately at ease once I met Rachel, she really listened to what I wanted and explained each step of the makeup process, including all the different options that I could choose from (ie: foundation versus tinted moisturizer). I felt that I could really speak up about what I liked and wanted and she totally was onboard. She gave me some amazing skincare tips too. I felt comfortable with her and admired her professionalism; hiring her was a no brainer.
On the day of my wedding Rachel went above and beyond. She took her time on every single person and just did an amazing job. My friend who works in Hollywood and goes to events and gets her makeup done frequently, said her hair and makeup were the best she's ever had. When I sat down for Rachel to do my makeup she already intuitively knew all the decisions I wanted (For instance I chose a tinted moisturizer over foundation). She totally got me and my vibe, it was awesome. I also made a small makeup change from the trial- I wanted a bit of a Meghan Markle smokey eye and Rachel delivered. Getting ready was a really fun, stress free experience and I'm glad that Rachel and Olya are part of those memories. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I only wish I had more events to go to where I needed my makeup done!

Rachel’s sense of professionalism and her ability to make the hair and makeup aspect of my wedding completely stress free was nothing to undermine. Rachel blew me away with my wedding make-up!! It was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be!! I spent a lot of time researching make-up artists in the area and as soon as I spoke to Rachel I knew she was a great fit for me. She is extremely passionate about her work and she is also a genuinely sweet person who wants the best for her clients on their wedding days. Out of all the vendors I worked with leading up to my wedding, Rachel was also the easiest to get in touch with. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. When I emailed her with a question, she would get back to me within minutes, often picking up the phone and calling me to explain lengthier responses. When I met Rachel for my trial, I learned JUST how talented she was. I LOVED my trial, but I have extremely sensitive eyes so I had some irritation afterwards as I often do when my eyes are touched a lot. On the day of my wedding, Rachel made changes accordingly and was SO careful around my eyes. I really appreciated the way she listened to my concern and did everything she could to make sure I would feel comfortable on my wedding day. The make-up that she did for all of my bridesmaids was absolutely incredible and the girls were so happy! She had all my bridesmaids looking like models. Beyond the make-up, Rachel was a calm, warm, positive presence on the morning of my big day. I really think that her wedding morning vibes set me and the girls up to have an amazing rest of the day. So, look no further and work with Rachel!!! Not only is she a talented artist, she will listen to what you want and will cater to the things that you need as an individual to make you happy on your big day!!

PERFECTION. If your goal is to become a princess, look no further. I cannot say enough about Rachel herself, and her work. She is professional, attentive, detail oriented, and wants to make your dream look come true. She was amazing to work with throughout the process: starting with my trial, and even being so patient with my mother and mother in law during their own trials. Rachel Duncan is one of my loveliest people I have EVER met. She just has a way about her that makes you feel beautiful on your big day.
Let me first state- I am not a "girlie girl". I NEVER wear makeup or fuss with my hair, so I was out of my element.
The first time I met Rachel, she reached over and touched my skin and told me how great my skin was!
I have loved her ever sense! She calls her clients her "dolls" and makes you feel like a rock star!
She has 4 of us to work on and it was so fun watching her transform us into beauties! Our 75 year old aunt Donna looked FAB!
She also introduced me to the Amazing Ashley Smith for our hair design.

Where do you begin to talk about such a talented and beautiful soul like Rachel Duncan ? When I met Rachel in August I already had paid for my wedding day make up, she did my make up for the boudoir When I left that shoot, I felt so beautiful and had this pit in my stomach that I would regret it forever if she did not do my hair and make up for my big day, never thinking she would be available I reached out to her to ask if she would glam me up for my wedding, without hesitation she accepted and traveled free of charge to Lake George New York. In the weeks coming she stayed in communication with me ironing out the details of what I did and did not want etc. I live in DC so there was no time for a trial but it did not matter, I knew she would make me look nothing less then flawless. The day came and she arrived early with Stephanie and as always her vibrant and calming personality put an instant smile on my face, although a calm bride, the energy of everyone around me was to put it lightly... a lot! Despite the craziness of my family she made me feel beautiful and calmed me which is super important as a bride, she entertained everyones questions and input and ensured everyone that she would make everyone not only beautiful but their vision of beautiful, I never doubted it for a second but by the end of the morning everyone instantly saw why I made the last minute change... she is not only a master at her craft but one of the best souls I have had the pleasure of meeting through this wedding journey. To top it all off, she stayed through my first look to fix any make up issues and Stephanie did three hair changes for me to give me just a slight change through the morning first look and ceremony.... Rachel, Thank you will never be enough and I am so lucky to have found you. Thank you for everything you did for me over the last few months, on my wedding day, for putting up with my family and for becoming a friend. You are truly one of a kind. xo

Rachel is the best! I could not be happier that I was able to work with her. My major concern in picking a makeup artist was that I have an allergy to a common makeup ingredient and wanted to make sure to avoid any makeup that would trigger my allergy on my wedding day. Rachel went above-and-beyond the call of duty by researching multiple brands of makeup (she even called some companies directly) to ensure that specific products within a brand was free of the allergen. Rachel was unsure whether a couple of the products would trigger an allergic reaction, so she arranged for us to meet for a test run at Sephora before committing to them. I was planning my wedding from Boston and did not have many weekends home in New York. Rachel was so easy to work with and worked around my schedule. She and the hairstylist she often works with, Ashley Smith, came to my mother’s house for my hair and makeup trial. Before the trial, I shared a couple of pictures that I liked with Rachel and she completely nailed the look I was going for. She and Ashley were so sweet and easy to talk to. I felt like I was getting ready with two old friends, everyone was easy going and laughing the entire morning. There is a picture of me from the morning of my wedding after seeing my makeup for the first time. I have a huge grin and told Rachel that it was my “you exceeded my wildest expectations” face. I can honestly say that I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day.

I loved Rachel! She is so sweet and super accommodating. I struggled to find someone for MONTHS who could do a tattoo cover up, or when they said they could do them it looked terrible. I finally found Rachel and she did an OUTSTANDING job. My dress was backless and I have an all black and gray tattoo off to the center, my dress was cutting into it so I decided I wanted it covered so it didnt look funny. Rachel came right to my house for two trials and on my wedding day THE MAKE UP DID NOT MOVE. No one ever noticed and it didn't even rub off while I was dancing the night away. Highly recommend!!

When I met with her for my trial, she listened to my ideas and executed perfectly! Her lead hair stylist, Ashley is also incredibly talented and great to work with and together they are the true dream team! Can't say enough good things about Rachel and her assistant. She showed up exactly on time for both my trial and my wedding day. I don't typically wear much makeup or have a strong cosmetic vocabulary. Somehow, she figured out exactly what I wanted and created a perfect, enhanced version of me without making me look fake or caked up. I looked more beautiful than I've ever looked in my entire life. I received so many compliments about how amazing my makeup was. People said it didn't even look like I was wearing any. It lasted for over 12 hours, no issues. She made up my mom (looked about 40 when she's in her 50's) and entire bridal party. Everyone looked fantastic.
Rachel is a warm and wonderful person in addition to being a talented MUA. You should consider yourself lucky if she's available for your big day! Don't hesitate to book her!

I LOVE RACHEL DUNCAN!!! She is a bride's best friend. I was having trouble coordinating times and working it out so that everyone could get their make-up done at a timely manner and she was so accommodating. She always made me feel important and that my opinion mattered.
A couple (ok many!) things I loved about her:
1- She washed all her brushes before using them on me.
2- She looked at my face and used my pink undertones to choose the right colors for me to use. She could have just chosen the make-up colors she loves to use, but she knew dark would not look good on me.
3- She listened! I said I didn't want to look too different than how I look now and she completely agreed. My husband was marrying me, not some stranger.
4- She stayed late and did touch ups on people's cheeks and lips. She was all packed up to go and my mother asked to have her lip color re-applied. Rachel was wonderful even though she was all set and ready to go.
Everyone loved my make-up. It was so beautifully done. Rachel, I love you so much for not only my make-up, but for being there for me when things with my hair dresser went awry. You made me feel at ease about the morning of my wedding because of your kind words and willingness to work with me. Thank you again!

As a girl who has never worn makeup, I wasn't even sure I wanted to get makeup done for my wedding. I was referred to Rachel by another make up artist and it could not have worked out better if we tried. At my makeup trial, Rachel explained everything to me and was so thoughtful and considerate in planning what make up to use. I have never felt so beautiful ever. Imagine a week before your destination wedding and your hair/makeup professional cancels on you. Then by the luck of the universe, Color Me Gorgeous is able to squeeze you into their schedule. Rachel (make-up) and Ashley (hair) are AMAZING/CALM/GENEROUS/CAREFUL/EASY GOING. I emailed (through Wedding Wire) and Rachel texted me back within 30 minutes (maybe even faster than that). We texted images of what i wanted for H/MU and a few images of my dress - obviously no time for a trial - and honestly probably wouldn't have wanted a trial b/c the day of was such a great surprise, i wouldn't have wanted anything different.
Communication throughout was a BREEZE! Day of, Rachel and Ashely arrived earlier than expected (which was good since she was squeezing me in anyway.. gave us a few more minutes together). They both set up and became working simultaneously. I had hair extensions with me, which Ashley effortlessly put in and curled. Rachel used her amazing palatte of colors and her INCREDIBLE talent to make me up. All my friends who were with me in the room flipped out when they saw. Seriously, everyone said how gorgeous I looked. My hair - ON POINT, full, luxurious, exactly what i wanted. My make-up (airbrushed fyi) was BEYOND! When I saw myself in the mirror, my jaw dropped. My sister (who critiques this stuff like crazy) said she's never seen me look better in my life. Not overdone too. Just exactly perfect. I had my trial with Rachel this past weekend before my bridal shower. Rachel was so much fun to get ready with in the morning! I felt beautiful for my shower and I received endless compliments on my makeup. She is also super professional and responsive. I'd highly recommend her to any bride!

Rachel was absolutely amazing and professional to work with. She did my makeup for my cousins wedding and gave me a flawless, glowing face with the perfect lip. My makeup was complimented all night long! The look she gave me is still my favorite look to this day! I will certainly work with Color Me Gorgeous again in the near future.

Rachel was my second makeup trial. I tried another makeup artist that did the airbrush and I hated it! I told Rachel that I didn't want airbrush and that I wanted something very natural and that's what she gave me! Not only that but she came to my house for the trial which was very accommodating! Prices are very very reasonable and she was super sweet! Can't wait till the big day now knowing my makeup will be the way I want it!

Rachel has done my makeup on several occasions for a variety of events and she consistently exceeds my expectations. She is great to work with and always willing to accommodate her clients requests. Rachel has been one of the best makeup artists I've had. She did my makeup for a Wedding I was in as a Bridesmaid and was able to really capture the theme of the wedding as well as my own personal style into the makeup look. It the end result made me feel beautiful and also like myself. Can't wait to use her services again!

Rachel is amazing. She has a huge heart and a passion for what she does, and that comes through in her make up. She did me up for a charity gala, since I wanted to see her skills before deciding who to use for my wedding, and I received tons of compliments for my make up. She was also very respectful of my wishes! I would 100% recommend her for any event, and will be using her for my own wedding.

I would absolutely recommend Color Me Gorgeous! I had a girl cancel for my make up 40 days before my wedding. Rachel was there to save me! She incredibly wonderful! My girls and I had nothing but complments my whole wedding night! Thank you for making me such a beautiful bride! ?

Rachel did such an amazing job with my make up for my wedding day. She was very personable and professional and has good range from doing my 12 year old sister to my mother. I don't wear that much make up at all and she still had me look like myself as opposed to being overdone. I would highly recommend her!
