Cecily and Suzanne helped me whenever I needed and answered any questions that I thought of. They were very tentative to me and my needs all the way till the end of the wedding day and will work with any budget to make sure you get what you want!

We were so pleased to find this venue as it was absolutely beautiful, excellent service and food. I was constantly in contact with them regarding questions that I had about my daughter's wedding and concerns and they were very quick to respond and happy to accommodate all of our needs. Would definitely recommend this venue to everyone!

We got married at Coley Hall and had a great experience. Cicely and Suzanne were easy to work with and very responsive during the planning process. Coley Hall was a great venue with a beautiful courtyard that we used for our ceremony. We moved inside for the reception and had the rustic charm and character we were looking for. All of our friends from out of town commented on how much they enjoyed Coley Hall and Elkin. I definitely recommend this venue for your wedding!

We celebrated my daughter’s this weekend and it was perfect! They held the ceremony in the courtyard and the reception in Coley Hall and we could not have asked for a more perfect venue. The venue is unique and beautiful, the management was awesome to work with, the food was great and the servers worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. Would highly recommend!

We just had our wedding at The Liberty & we had an amazing time. They were not only helpful, but very easy to work with and very flexible. They were great about emailing us & answering our questions. We also got our food catered from them, and it was delicious & exactly what we asked for. Everything we needed was taken care of. They even set up a Bridal room for us with amazing lights & music on the day of.

I would definitely recommend this place for your wedding! We had an amazing day & loved every second of it.

The only thing that I would suggest for them is to have more room for other people in the wedding party to hang out and relax before the wedding. There is a basement, but it isn't finished yet & could easily be turned into a more comfortable place to be.

We had our wedding reception held here on December 13, 2014 and everything was perfect! The staff was helpful in our planning and communicated with us during the whole process! We held our rehearsal dinner at The Liberty the night before as well and then we did some pre-decorating! Our guests were delighted the venue! Would highly recommend it!

Caroline was a great director. Susan and cicely were also great to work with. The venue is gorgeous and practically decorates itself.

The Liberty is a gem of a venue in Elkin! The staff was great to work with and were flexible in accommodating our needs and requests. It's a perfect mix of old charm and new facilities, keeping the old character of the building with modern amenities. Douglas, Cicley and Erika were great to work with and we had so many compliments on the space and the food! Loved it!!

My daughter chose Coley Hall for her wedding and reception on April 25, 2024. The facility offers a rustic ambiance that offers an amazing backdrop for wedding pictures. It is unfortunate that this is where the storybook wedding story ends. There were a few shining stars that provided outstanding service and support to my daughter and the wedding party throughout the event. The venue manager was NOT one.

She interrupted the pre-wedding photoshoot to accuse "someone" of bringing an open bottle of alcohol into the venue. When pressed for specifics she had opened a closed backpack that contained a wedding gift of an UNOPENED bottle of hard-to-find alcohol.

Later this was followed up with a passive-aggressive interaction, with the same manager, regarding final payment of the venue. This had already been discussed with the booking agent that the payment would be made within three days after the wedding. She did not bring this up with the groom, but with my daughter. She told my daughter that there was an issue with the final payment, but she should take it up with the groom. Why would anyone make such a comment during the reception!! The manager did not want to hear about the payment situation that had been worked out with the booking agent.

Food!! Using this facility you are forced to use their catering service. This is without a doubt the worst food I have even had. Hors d'oeuvres were 2-3 crackers and cheese bites from a bag. The meal was chicken alfredo. The penne noodles were so overcooked, they were mush. The alfredo sauce was more like white water with a little cheese flavoring. Rolls were flat, cold, and tasteless. Chicken was available for those who wanted to add chicken. It was cold and had been setting so long that the broth/fat had congealed around the pieces. A side salad was provided, but I would not refer to this as a salad. Each salad plate had maybe 10 leafy greens which were easily drowned with a tablespoon of dressing. Any vendor serving such food indicates that they are all about the profit and could care less about the quality of food. There was no water available at any of the tables. All drinks, including water, had to come from the bar. Cost for the food, gratuity, and service (two people spooning out this mess) cost over $4K. They should be ashamed to take this much money for such poor quality of food.

Think carefully before spending money at this venue. The ambiance is amazing, but this is where the value ends.
