    Terrica helped with the day-of, or really month-of coordinating for my wedding. She and her team were amazing in making sure everything went smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. You can absolutely trust your day in her hands. She worked well with all my vendors and event venue. She is hands down the BEST for making sure your day is perfect! All of the documents she made - VIP timelines and the Event Dossier were beautiful and thought out to make sure everything went perfectly. Thank you Terrica and team!

    My husband and I live in Virginia and got married on St. Simons Island, GA. Being farther away, it was really important to us that we had trustworthy and responsive vendors in Georgia who could answer questions when needed. We also were looking for a team to do day-of coordinating. That way, our guests could enjoy the island and not spend their time helping us set up.

    Let me tell you - Cocktails & Details not only met our expectations, they went above and beyond. Terrica and Colleen stayed in touch with us throughout the whole process and helped us create a flawless day-of production timeline. Being from the DC area where everyone (including myself) are a little high strung, I sometimes got frustrated with the good ole southern/island time/I'll-get-to-it-when-I-get-to-it attitude that many of our vendors took. Cocktails & Details were the exact opposite and were BY FAR the most responsive and professional of all of our vendors. I so so so appreciated that!

    The day of our wedding, we had one small hiccup. One of our trolleys broke down and couldn't pick up our guests on time. By the time the wedding party arrived at the reception, Terrica had already researched 3 different transportation companies to pick up our guests at the end of the evening, spoken to my parents, and booked one for the end of the night. I didn't have to lift a finger or even worry.

    To add the cherry on top, Terrica and Colleen are basically the cutest ever. They have that combination of sweet and doting, yet will get to business and get REAL serious if need be.

    Hire these people! They are incredible!

    We had a big ethnic celebration/destination wedding that was full of details of my husband’s heritage (Indian) and religious traditions from mine (Spanish). We interviewed several wedding planners both American and Indian and we were most impressed with Cocktails and Details. They were very knowledgeable, prompt with communications and so easy to get along with. Because of this, we actually hired their entire team to handle our wedding day and the Sangeet and Mehendi days before the wedding to make sure we had a professional planner at the helm of each event. With over 30 vendors and 375 guests, they executed our wedding perfectly. We had a mix of vendors that were local and some flown in from New Delhi, Atlanta, New York and Orlando and so many of them told us how they were so impressed with Terrica and her team. Even my VERY hard to please mother-in-law was so happy with them that she brought them custom saris to wear for the wedding! If you have a wedding that is high end and high production, you cannot go wrong with these wedding planners. They know what they are doing and how to get things done.

    If you are looking for a team of friendly, knowledgeable, and FABULOUS planners this is the company for you! From start to finish working with Cocktails & Details was a complete dream. In a recent interview for a bridal blog I was asked what advice I would give to future brides, that was simple. Ladies making an investment with the right wedding planner was worth every penny. The expertise and professionalism was top notch, and I honestly could not have imagined my wedding going 1/2 as smooth without these ladies! A million thank you's will truly never be enough for making sure I had the wedding of my dreams! I highly recommend this company, they truly make every event fabulous.

    I knew one thing when my fiance proposed; we needed to get a wedding planner to keep from losing my mind. We are both doctors and don't have the time to spend on trying to coordinate everything ourselves without having a breakdown.

    I got a recommendation for this company from a friend of my sister's who had recently used them. Her wedding turned out perfectly, so I spoke to them and wound up hiring them.

    Throughout the 14 months we were engaged, our planner made the entire process fun and stress-free. We were actually relaxed about some of the big decisions. She took care of all of the details, large and small. Nothing was forgotten, since she knew the right questions to ask to figure out what we wanted. She was really reliable and never overwhelmed us.

    Our wedding was absolutely perfect; she thought of everything and acted as a buffer between us and our vendors. I would recommend her to anyone.

    If you are planning a wedding near the Golden Isles you must use them! My husband and I could never thank Terrica enough for the unbelievable job she did. From day one (a year before my wedding) I knew she was my perfect match because she was VERY quick to respond. I could always contact her with questions big or small and she would always provide her opinion and keep my stress level at a minimum. I did not raise one finger the day of my wedding because she took care of it all. She even somehow tamed the flower girl and ring bearer to sit still and ran up with them when it was their turn to walk. I even had trouble bustling my dress with my bridesmaids and Terrica was on the concrete on her bare knees (pregnant and all) making sure my dress looked perfect. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Terrica and my family absolutely loved her as well. Thanks for everything, Terrica. You are truly amazing!!

    I have a career... What can I say? I have already planned one wedding in my life. The second time around, I was doing it the right way; and I did! With Cocktails and Details. I did not have one ounce of worry the entire planning period. And during our special evening, I experienced nothing but bliss! These people know what they're doing. That's the best way I can describe them! If I had to do it all over again (and let's hope I'll never have to), I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

    I am not sure if I could put into words how beautiful my wedding day was. We wanted something really simple but elegant and glamorous. What the team came up with was the most amazing design, ideas and concepts I had ever seen. My husband (then fiancé) even enjoyed planning with them, which was rare because he never got involved with anything regarding the wedding before. They made him feel needed and involved, and by the time it was all said and done, the four of them created a themed buffet and bar that looked like something straight out of a Parisian bistro in the 1940s. I had some overbearing family members who were HIGHLY opinionated on how our wedding should be and they stressed me out to no end because it seemed like they just could not be pleased. Once again Terrica came to the rescue by coming up with specific areas they could help and they loved it! She really knows how to bring the best out of people whether it's the vendors, family, etc. If you are planning a destination wedding with them, you will love their process. I always felt like they were right at my fingertips either by email, phone, or their app. I kind of felt like a celebrity because I had such an awesome team devoted to me who really cared about making my day special, what I thought and wanted, and really making my wedding a success. Which it most certainly was.

    We hired Cocktails & Details to plan my daughter's wedding last May. It was a wonderful experience. They helped us find all the vendors we needed and were perfectly matched. The team they built for us pulled off the most stunning wedding that went beyond my imagination. The design process was nothing short of amazing. Even with a few hiccups caused by the weather, they came up with some creative solutions that in everyone's opinion made the wedding even better. I recommend them to every bride and mother of the bride for an very easy, professional but fun process.

    Cocktails and Details has to be the best wedding planning company in the St. Simons/Jekyll Island area. We did our research and interviewed a few planners as far as Jacksonville to take on our cultural wedding. We finally settled on Terrica because she was extremely detail oriented. What she lacked in knowledge about our specific cultural ceremony traditions and requirements, she learned and researched, which really impressed my husband. She even went as far as to hold a session with us and her colleague on the west coast who did have great experience with doing our type of weddings. I think what really made us feel comfortable during the planning was that our vendors were so comfortable and spoke so highly of her. When it came time for the details to be pulled all together, I do not believe there is another master of logistics like her. From what I heard from the florist her timelines are something of legend LOL! The wedding went just the way we planned in our consultations and therefore like we anticipated. Our guests had a great time and spoke about how great Terrica and Lauren were. My mom remarked that before she could think to ask them for something or ask if something was done, they were already there with the job completed. She was really able to relax and just be my mom, which was important to me. That's what you get when you hire Cocktails and Details. I would recommend them highly to brides and grooms.

    I cannot even begin to thank Terrica and her events team for making my 10th wedding anniversary where my husband and I renewed our vows the most memorable day of our lives. I learned of Terrica through a cousin who used her services before and wanting a destination wedding, actually our first, since we went to City Hall 10 years ago, I wanted everything to be perfect. Terrica and I met and she made our vision come to life!! I had nothing to worry about as she was extremely organized, detailed, sincere and passionate, not to mention her energy and sense of humor where very much needed when I had moments of wanting to give up!! She thought of every detail, things that I could never have managed to do on my own and on those rare occassions when I felt like I had to be in the know and wanted to control the situation she just calmed my nerves and assured me everything would be taken care of. Terrica more than exceeded our expecations so much so that my husband who could care less about the tiny details was pleasantly amazed. Her team is equally fantastic. My guests were definitely in awe with our elegant, sophisticated yet chic wedding. I could never have achieved a more perfect day without her and highly recommend them to all future brides. Simply amazing!!

    Terrica Skaggs and her team at Cocktails & Details are absolutely phenomenal. She was such a joy to work with and I was more than pleased with every single detail of our wedding day. She is extremely patient which I truly appreciated because I know I can be a worry wart at times but she always pleasantly re-assured me. Our wedding was small and on St. Andrews Beach in Jekyll Island but she never made us feel as if we were less important and I adore her for that. It was elegant, romantic, beautiful and truly a dream come true for us. She really does listen to her clients and even remembered that I did not like chocolate so there weren't on the strawberries she got for our honeymoon suite. She takes special care to every single detail so that your wedding day is exactly as you have envisioned. She has such a warm, sweet personality that makes you want to be her friend. I can't say enough great things about Terrica and her team because that would take all day. Anyone who has the pleasure of having her plan ANY event for them will NOT be disappointed.

    My mom found Terrica when my husband and I were looking for a day of coordinator for our wedding at Jekyll Island Club's Crane Cottage. My husband was initially skeptical about having a month/day of coordinator - after all the work Terrica put in, he was completely won over and so thrilled that we had her. The only thing I would change would be hiring her earlier - it would have saved me all the stress I put into the early planning stages!

    There were a lot of aspects to handle for our wedding. Our wedding was interfaith - Hindu/Christian, so it had some complicated parts that many of our vendors had never encountered before - Terrica's clear timeline and event blueprints made sure everyone was where they should be to capture the moments and make everything run smoothly, on time. We had some extra ceremonies and Terrica put in overtime making sure they were set-up properly.

    We are from New York, so we were also planning remotely - Terrica has a great group of vendors in the area and I loved everyone she recommended - the florist who did our bouquets and the make-up artist were phenomenal. I was able to be completely relaxed the entire day knowing that Terrica had a great team and everything under control. The one vendor we weren't thrilled with was our own fault - if we had employed Terrica earlier, she probably would have steered us away from that one DJ. However, it was only after the wedding that we were really aware of the issues that arose with him because Terrica made sure to handle all problems before we (or our guests) could ever be aware of them. There was only one problem she had to bring to me the day of our wedding and she just needed my sign-off on the solution. I also work in event planning in New York, so I know there's bound to be some hiccup in a large, therefore you need someone that you know & trust to solve it - Terrica is that person. She has the perfect amount of energy - she's calm when you need it and completely positive the whole day - she never, ever appears frazzled or stressed - which helps you stay relaxed & happy. You wind up getting kind of attached to Terrica because she gets just as excited for you in making sure everything happens the way you want it to.

    As a bride, I was worried leading up to the wedding that the day would be stressful and that would cause drama or I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself. Terrica made sure that wasn't the case - she made both moms happy and my confidence in her made me the most "Zen" bride (in the words of all the vendors). My husband and I were able to focus on just being at our wedding, not worrying as hosts about the details.

    I can't say enough good things about Terrica. She made our wedding day exactly what we wanted (probably even better than we dared to hope for).

    Terrica was very responsive with any issue that came up. I was having a destination wedding and she was very accommadaing with the time change. It was wonderful to work with such a professional. It was so nice to be able to relax on the day of the wedding and let someone else help, especally planning everything from so far away.

    If you are looking for a creative, energetic, and brilliant wedding planner, Terrica with Cocktails & Details is perfect for you! She is great at listening to exactly what you (the bride) are looking for and providing tons of examples and ideas to ensure that your wedding day is perfect. In addition to helping you plan every detail, from the linens to the music, her "day of the wedding" services are the best. I even had numerous guests tell me after my wedding that she did an amazing job. I was beyond impressed with everything Terrica and the Cocktails & Details staff provided and did for me throughout my entire planning process, I could not have pulled off the wedding of my dreams without them.

    IF I could give a bonus star for Value for cost I would. Terrica is amazing, I was a bride with no idea of what I wanted and she helped guide me. I changed my budget on her multiple times and she always "went with it" with out ever making me feel badly (I had to be driving her crazy! I was driving ME crazy!). She was there for me with every little detail giving advice when needed and just listening a whole lot too! With all of our challenges she handled them all and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend her. She has the patience of a saint! Fabuluxe events is first class.

    Terrica and her girls at Cocktails & Details are phenomenal! From the beginning my wedding was a little different, it had to be postponed due to my father's illness so that is why we hired some much needed help. Terrica took care of everything, including moving my wedding date with all the vendors. She was enthusiastic throughout the entire process. I know I must have sent her a thousand emails, but she was always quick to respond and happy to help me out. She has a fantastic sense of style and knew exactly what I was picturing as my dream wedding.

    Most importantly, Terrica delivered impeccable service from beginning to end. There were some issues with the florist which could have turned into a catastrophe on the day of the wedding. Instead, Terrica came up with a FABULOUS solution to the problem and made it beautiful. She was a great friend to me throughout the process and I will never forget her! I still get compliments that my wedding was one of the most beautiful that my guests had ever attended, and the most fun! I could not recommend someone more highly :)

    Terrica was absolutely WONDERFUL! I wasn't sure if I would need to hire a wedding planner or not, but Terrica was worth every penny. I enlisted her services 7 weeks before my destination wedding. I had most of my vendors already lined up, but for the ones that were not, Terrica made some excellent recommendations. I wish I had her recommendations for the rest of my vendors. During the wedding, Terrica went above and beyond the call of duty. At 5 months pregnant, she was running around and left nothing undone. The whole event flowed smoothly because of her. I would recommend Terrica to anyone who wants a flawless event!

    Terrica is great to work with and SO much fun! I would recommend her to any bride. I never imagined I would feel as relaxed as I did on the wedding day, but I knew Terrica had everything under control. There was even a huge issue with one of the groomsman's pants that I didn't know about until after the wedding. No complaints!

    We hired Cocktails & Details about 4 months prior to our wedding when we realized our current planner would not work out. Our wedding was in Jacksonville, FL and we found Cocktails & Details on a video from the DJ company we were using. We spoke with Terrica the owner several times and she was very prompt and responsive. Their website was also very professional. Their day of planning services were twice as much as all other planners we looked at, however, we figured we had already spent so much on the wedding we should not skimp on a planner because we wanted everything to go perfectly. We booked Cocktails & Details and unfortunately we did not get the top of the line service we had paid for. Honestly, given the reviews on wedding wire you would think we hired a completely different company. The week before the wedding a vendor contacted me at work stating she had never heard from Terrica or received a timeline about when she could set up for the wedding. I contacted Terrica immediately and she contacted the florist with the timeline but then 2 days later another vendor called with the same complaint. When Terrica was asked as to why we were even receiving calls from vendors the week of our wedding, she implied it was our fault because we hired these vendors. Another vendor complained that the information they received was so basic and minimal she contacted me because she did not feel comfortable with so little information. That vendor was the make up artist who according to the schedule was supposed to arrive at 2-2:30 pm which would have made it impossible to do 7 people's make up and be ready for pictures by 3:30. Because of that everything ran late and we were unable to get sufficient pictures prior to the ceremony. She totally forgot the aisle runner for the ceremony. She did not utilize the hostesses at all. Honestly there was so much other stuff that went wrong and not enough space on here to type it. I would not recommend her services for the price.

    Cocktails & Details's reply:

    We appreciate the feedback regarding your wedding earlier this month! Your event was very important to us and we worked very hard on it, so we are very saddened to hear of your unhappiness. We worked diligently to confirm all thirteen of the vendors; two of which had issues receiving and reviewing it, which we quickly remedied, through strenuous methods. It is never the client’s fault when a vendor does not perform responsibly and this is never something for which we would find fault in a client. Our production schedules are 11 pages long with detailed information for every vendor. In review of the approved timeline from 5.30.15, there is no 2 or 2:30 slot— Styling was set to start at 12 PM upon the bridal party’s arrival (page 5); Entry and gate information was listed on page 3 on the event overview, our arrival was scheduled at 2 PM as setup was already conducted the day before (page 10). If after review of our production schedule, a vendor has issues with our scheduling, we always ask them to contact us. We were excited for and knew how important your wedding was to you which is why we went above and beyond for your event (bringing additional staff at no extra charge, doing the hostesses' duties when they did not show up at the appointed time, working with a relative as an additional planner at the insistence of the matron of honor, picking up a steamer and 140 sparklers on the way to the event which caused a delay in communications and our arrival from Georgia). Though there were some misplaced expectations, we worked hard to fill in the gaps where duties were unassigned or unfulfilled by other parties. All feedback is constructive and welcome and it helps us grow— as our other reviews and awards reflect, we take client service very seriously and apologize if there are needs that were left unmet at your wedding. Please know that we do wish you all the best!
