Having Coastal Rose behind our wedding day was truly the best investment we could have made - it was worth EVERY penny. We could not recommend them more and cannot imagine our wedding without them leading the charge. Tara led our month-of coordination, but we often interacted with both her and Emily. They rose above and beyond all expectations, swooping in when you need it most, thinking of reminding us of details we hadn't even thought of and planning out every second to perfection. We often found ourselves saying things like "that was worth every penny" and "I'm not worried Tara has it handled." Beyond that, both Tara and Emily were people we looked forward to chatting with throughout the process, as they truly radiate with positive energy and peace. Genuine, warm and never judgmental or pretentious. Even when there were bumps in the road with vendors given a venue that presented some big logistical challenges, Tara had it immediately handled with creativity and professionalism. You wouldn't have even known at the time of the event. They are truly the best of the best! -

Working with Coastal Rose Events was incredible. I was initially worried that our small wedding wouldn’t feel like a “real” wedding, but Emily and Tara made it so special. Working with the ladies at Coastal Rose Events was so easy and seamless. Their team is so professional and thinks through every single little detail. I hired their team for a wedding coordinator because I wanted to plan my wedding but needed logistical support because I had never planned an event this large. I ended up working with Tara on their team and she was seriously so insanely good at her job. She was so great during the planning process and when I passed over all logistics to her leading up to the wedding, she took over beautifully. On wedding day she was everywhere and no where at the same time, which was exactly what I wanted in a wedding coordinator/planner. So many of my family members came up to me after the wedding and said Tara was so good and handled every little thing with such ease. I seriously can't say enough positive things about Tara and Emily and the entire CRE team. -

Emily and her team were GREAT during our wedding planning process and day of. Emily always answered every question I had and made sure the wedding day ran as smoothly as possible. We can't say enough great things about Coastal Rose Events! On what was supposed to be a sunny day, unexpected rain (along with cold weather) threw a wrench into our outdoor reception plans. But thanks to their calm, quick thinking, and tireless effort, everything still turned out absolutely beautiful. They went completely out of their way to help us pivot and move the reception indoors seamlessly—handling logistics, coordinating with vendors, and making sure the indoor space looked just as magical as we’d imagined. What could have been a stressful moment turned into a special memory thanks to their dedication and heart. We’re so grateful to have had them by our side on our big day!

I am not even sure how to begin to write a review that does Emily and her team justice. They honored every detail and thought from the beginning. Emily helped us plan our dream wedding in California while we were at home in Chicago. She thought of everything before we even knew it was an option. She is incredibly talented, easy to work with and organized. She handled all tough conversations and let us feel at peace on our big day. Flawless Execution for our dream SB wedding weekend! Highly Recommend
Emily and her team turned our vision into a reality for our dream wedding weekend!! She was very professional and thoughtful throughout the entire process.
She is an outstanding wedding planner and can deliver under pressure. It was very evident of her detail-oriented nature, coordination capabilities, and ability to navigate many vendors and personalities. All our guests loved Emily and her team! Our wedding party size was 174 people.
Our Mission SB (catholic wedding) followed by Belmond Encanto cocktail hour & dinner reception/dancing turned out to be a perfect day and evening we will never forget (see pics).

Emily and her team were amazing! We used her month-of coordination services and it made the weeks leading up to our wedding so much less stressful than they would have been. I did most of the planning myself and had to learn as I went, so it was amazing to have someone with experience I could always shoot a quick email if I had a question. She took care of all the final communication with vendors and ensured all of our decor was perfectly placed. Our day ran seamlessly and I only found out about some of the issues she fixed for us after the fact (I forgot a few of our bar stock items and the cornhole game we bought for cocktail hour was missing bags, but she saved the day without even having to bother me). She and her team kept us on track with our timeline and constantly informed, not to mention with a drink in our hand at all times! Emily is so detail oriented and amazing at what she does, while also remaining the sweetest person. We would 1000% recommend Coastal Rose Events to any and all engaged couples! -

Emily is the absolute best!! We quickly realized that while we were having an intimate wedding (32 people), it was still a wedding and we were in over our heads. We needed help coordinating the nuances that a small wedding brought, and Emily was the person to help guide us. We are not from Santa Barbara, and having Emily by our side as not only the resident SB expert, but also an all around positive advocate for us was one of the best decisions we made. Her deep knowledge of the area and its vendors was invaluable. We trusted every vendor she sent our way, and helped to make those tough decisions no brainers. She provided us with insights and suggestions that we would have never been able to find on our own and was the utmost professional the entire time.
Communication with Emily was easy and seamless. She is extremely organized and keeps everything logged. She knew exactly what questions to ask, took the time to understand what was important to us, and listened – all of this helped us clarify our own vision for the day. She encouraged us to prioritize our desires and preferences, even if they strayed from tradition.
Emily was a rock star on the day of – we talked through the way we wanted certain items to look and feel but she really brought everything to life in a way I couldn’t have imagined. I had zero stress that day, never once did I worry about a thing. She had taken care of it all! Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more, and we have Emily to thank for that. She went above and beyond to make our day not just successful, but truly special. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Absolutely recommend!
Emily and her team are an absolute joy to work with and ensured that our day went smoothly and exactly how we wanted (as far as I know! Lol) Emily went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect - including a last minute stop at Trader Joe’s to grab roses for our recessional petal toss. She’s organized, detailed, supportive, and has great energy. Communication with her throughout the process was easy and pleasant and I’m so happy we decided to hire her as our day of coordinator. Emily was such a blessing! We’re lucky to have had her help with month of coordination for our Sept wedding. Wedding planning is extremely detailed, time intensive and can be very stressful. Emily took the stress away and handled virtually all the pertinent details and “to do’s” the month of our wedding. We’re very thankful that she was there to wrap up all the things and make sure our wedding was executed exactly as we wished. She and her team are rockstars! -

My husband Matt and I had our DREAM wedding because of all of the help from Emily. Emily is so incredibly detail oriented and relieved us of all the stress with wedding planning. We communicated over text, email, and zoom meetings and it was so great how quick and responsive Emily was during the entire process. She constructed a well thought out time line, made sure all of our contracts and vendors were taken care of, and most importantly that we enjoyed our day without any stress! Her organizational skills are truly impecable and I don’t know how she does it. She recommended the best vendors and we constantly were complimented about how great our florists, musician, and photobooth were. Her team is incredible and I’m so lucky to have gotten the pleasure of working with her for our wedding day. Emily wasn’t just my coodinator, she felt like my friend that was there beside me all day. She seamlessly orchestrated everything from start to finish in 60 days; my guests were in disbelief at how well everything turned out, saying it couldn’t have been any better had I been planning for 2 years. She is extremely organized, has great planning tools, communicates well, and above all has great taste. As a caterer, I loved working with Emily and highly recommend her! Providing quality planning and coordination for a wedding or event can be very challenging, especially when planning from afar, which was the case of our mutual clients’ wedding in Illinois. Emily did a phenomenal job! She is very easy to communicate with and just really fun and a pleasure to be around, which makes for an amazing event!

Emily is the BEST Coordinator Out There!
If you are looking for a wedding coordinator in Ventura County, look no further! Emily went above and beyond, meeting with me whenever I needed her. Holding my hand throughout the whole planning process. Recommending amazing vendors that were exceptional on my big day. She is very professional, sweet, and is great at making fast decisions. We planned on the majority of my reception to be outdoors but it was too cold, and Emily was able to move everyone swiftly inside without any guests noticing. She even spent at least 10 minutes trying to get my stuck veil out of my head! Lastly and very importantly, she made sure my husband and I were fed and had a drink in our hand the entire evening. She is just amazing, can't recommend her enough :) -

A perfect day and experience with Coastal Rose Events!
We cannot say enough good things about Emily and Coastal Rose Events! From our initial meeting, all the in between and planning meetings and meet ups, and all the way to the day of, Emily made us feel comfortable, heard, and calm. My husband and I wanted a smaller and more intimate wedding (60 people) but to still have many of the aspects we always see at a larger wedding. Emily never judged what we wanted and only welcomed and encouraged our vision for our day. She is patient, detailed, responsive, positive, smart, knows Santa Barbara and the surrounding areas like the back of her hand, and is a genuine joy to be around. She helped provide ideas, encouragement, and support throughout all of the planning. She was always on top of everything when we met with just her and with vendors, and helped us ask the questions needed during those meetings. We walked out of every call/meeting with her feeling less stressed and more excited!
I can't even tell you how perfectly the day of our wedding went. From start to finish, the Coastal Rose Team made sure everything went smoothly, was organized, communicated with our vendors to make everything look perfect, stayed on track with the timeline she created, and communicated to us and our families throughout the day (even just to make sure we were doing great and if we needed anything). Our day turned out better than we could have imagined in every way, and it is because we had Coastal Rose Events on our team!
We feel truly lucky to have had Emily on our team for our wedding day - it could not have been as amazing as it was without her help with planning and coordinating! I highly recommend Coastal Rose Events for your special day, big or small! -

Amazing coordinating service
Emily helped make our intimate wedding everything we could have hoped for. We had approximately 50 guests at an air bnb for our ceremony and reception. Emily is so creative and did a great job making the space work for us and our needs.
Throughout the planning process she was patient, extremely helpful, and organized. My husband and I always left our conversations with her feeling 100x less stressed about the planning process.
At our small rehearsal and actual wedding day she was easy-going and delightful to be around. She was able to delegate family members and vendors efficiently AND KINDLY. All those who spoke to her only had great things to say. She was quick to problem solve when there were hiccups (ex: our main bathroom’s pipes getting clogged 2 hours before the ceremony, and running low on alcohol during our reception). We did not have to answer a single question or intervene. For this, we could not be more thankful. My husband and I were both so relaxed and had the best time at our wedding due to her professionalism. I highly, highly recommend Emily and her coordinating services. -

Working with Emily was a dream from beginning to end. She is a rock star! We were really struggling to find a coordinator who was patient, calm, flexible, an active listener and reasonably priced. It was by chance that we found her and I am so thankful we did. Emily was very communicative. If she was going to be out of office she would let us know.
