Karen was a wonderful person who made my dress shopping experience worth while! She was patient and kind. She quickly responded if I wanted to try on a different dress than the ones I had in the room. My dress truly made me feel like a princess. This whole experience has just been truly magical.

I got my dress and veil from the Coastal Knot Bridal Boutique in Raleigh, NC. They have such an amazing selection of dresses and a beautiful store! I was very indecisive and tried on SO many dresses. They were so patient and kind throughout the whole process! Once I got my dress, they were able to store it for me after I got it altered. They steamed and cleaned it for my bridal portraits and my wedding! It was very easy to make an appointment with them for all of those occasions. I 100% recommend dress shopping here!!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and Mattea at Coastal Knot Bridal, and I am beyond thrilled with the exceptional service they provided. Leading up to my appointments, Stephanie asked all the right questions and was extremely informative and helpful. From the moment I arrived, Mattea was so compassionate and handled my situation with such great care. She made the entire shopping experience truly special for me. Throughout our time together she actively listened to my preferences, understood what styles would look flattering on my figure, and expertly guided me through the details of every gown I tried on. As we were in the dressing room I could literally see the wheels spinning in her head as I talked about features I really l liked versus details I didn't really care for. In between, while being able to Facetime with my mom and sister who live out of state, I could see her in the background taking out dresses that she knew would not work for me and bringing in more suitable styles. What stood out the most was Mattea's ability to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I felt comfortable and supported throughout my appointment. Her attention to detail and genuine interest in making sure I found the perfect gown truly set her apart. It's evident that Stephanie, Mattea, and the whole Coastal Knot team are skilled professionals who understand how to create memorable experiences for their guests. Chasity in Raleigh is Amazing!
I had someone once tell me that you will definitely find a dress at Coastal Knot and that is absolutely true! Chasity listened to a few thoughts I had on the wedding theme and dress shape I was going for and found several dresses that pulled all those thoughts together and introduced me to a new designer I now love. Every dress I tried on made me feel amazing, I ended up getting a Martina Liana gown that I am still obsessed with. The customer service was amazing at Coastal Knot, even accommodating a last minute steam on my dress the day before. I had such a wonderful experience that I can't recommend this bridal boutique enough!

Awesome experience
From my first visit, to having to return for multiple alterations, the girls in Wilmington were amazing. They were so helpful when I had to return for a second set of alterations after the first, even discounting me due to the distance I traveled for my gown and alterations, since we had only thought we needed one appointment. I loved every minute with them!

Love Coastal Knot!!
All the ladies that were in the boutique when I said year to my dress were so friendly! My consultant, Mallie, was able to help me find my perfect dress! I went in thinking I was getting all the lace and sparkles, but Mallie and my sister told me to try on a simple dress- which ended up being the one!! Mallie even helped me pick out my veil and recommend one I didn’t think I would ever wear (but I did!). I highly recommend Coastal Knot!

Beautiful Wedding Gowns and Fantastic Customer Service
I bought my dream Hayley Paige wedding ballgown from the Coastal Knot at their Raleigh location. I chose to go to Coastal Knot specifically because they were the only boutique in Raleigh who carried Hayley Paige gowns. I was not disappointed. I think I tried on every gown they had in the store designed by her. The customer service was top notch. The representative that worked with me was patient and was having just as much fun as I was. She listened to what I said I wanted and brought me several gowns and veils to try on. I spent about 3 hours in the store and purchased the very last gown I tried on. It was absolutely perfect. The Coastal Knot was the first and only place I tried on dresses. They worked with me to get it altered and it fit like a glove. I would highly recommend the Coastal Knot!

I had the BEST experience with Coastal Knot when searching for my wedding dress!!! Stephanie and Barbara helped me find the most perfect dress, and were so kind and helpful! I tried on multiple dresses, and they had so many beautiful options. I ended up picking the perfect dress for me, but Stephanie helped me make the dress even more beautiful by suggesting to make it strapless. I immediately fell in love with that idea, and she was able to confirm that this could be done!
Fast forward to my first fitting, and the alterations were amazing!!! I could not believe how gorgeous the dress was! It was absolutely perfect. The seamstress completely re-built the top of the dress to make it strapless and had hand-sewn all of the lace! I am still in shock of how beautiful the final dress turned out - better than I could have ever imagined. Thank you so much to the awesome ladies at Coastal Knot for helping me find the most beautiful dress that just felt like “me” and made me feel so beautiful on my special day. Thank you!!!

I had a hard time finding the right dress. I finally found one online, and it said Coastal Knot had it in stock and they did!! Kirsten was my helper and she was perfect for me. She even pulled other dresses to the one similar to what I chose. Good thing she did because I liked a top of another dress better. So I asked for them to add a piece on to the first one I chose. They not only did, but made it so perfect for me! They ordered my size and I had it in just a few weeks. It fit perfect. Can't Thank you enough!!

Loved my Allure gown from Coastal Knot!
I could not be happier with my experience at Coastal Knot! COVID shut downs delayed and changed my appointment plans quite a bit, but when I finally got to go try on dresses it was such a fun experience! I explained what I was looking for and Morgan understood my vision exactly. I tried on about 6 dresses, and ended up picking the very first dress I tried on! My dress came in a timely manner and the store was great about steaming my dress before the big day!

I went to the coastal knot in Raleigh, NC as my first wedding dress appointment. The beauty of the store itself, the quiet personalized appointment, and the attentive and helpful staff made for a perfect experience. I went to try on 'Made with Love' gowns. I had a few in mind, which I tried, and the associate I worked with told me to try the Georgie crepe dress as well and im so glad I did even though it was not the orginal style I had in mind. I even went to NYC to try on more dresses and could not get the dress from coastal knot out of my head. I returned home and said yes to the dress! I paired that dress with the stevie veil. They were so helpful and friendly every step of the process and I received so many compliments on my dress. I loved absolutely loved wearing it. Can't thank Coastal Knot enough for introducing me to my dream wedding dress!

Dress of my dreams
I went to Coastal Knot in Wilmington not knowing what to expect. I had spent hours and hours watching Say Yes to the Dress and looking up dress styles online. I sent Coastal Knot photos of the style I thought I wanted and they were quick to pull dresses that they thought I would like. After trying on about 3 dresses, I found “the one”. I am typically very indecisive but this was one of the easiest wedding decisions I made. All of the girls at the salon were so friendly and helpful and the selection was great. And a bonus- we ended up paying less than we had budgeted for! I got compliments on my dress all night long and it’s all thanks to Coastal Knot.

I absolutely loved my wedding dress shopping experience with Coastal Knot...so much so that I am sad it is over! The ladies at the boutique were so kind and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. I felt heard and cared for, and I was absolutely able to find my DREAM wedding gown (within budget!). The alteration process was so smooth and they made sure I felt 1000% comfortable in the final product. I wouldn't recommend finding your wedding dress anywhere else! One indecisive fairy princess
I am not a very decisive person and picking a wedding dress was no easy task. I must have tried on 100 dresses.
Coastal Knot of Wilmington was amazing! They were so supportive and allowed me to return to the store to try more dresses on...on several different occasions. I even said "yes" to one dress only to change my mind that night. The team at Coastal Knot was so encouraging and patient as I restarted my wedding dress journey. They made sure to make me feel at ease and confident in my decision. Once I REALLY found the one, it was magical. The team helped make sure it was altered to my liking and cleaned for the big day!

Just wow! The moment I walked in to Coastal Knot I was spoiled. The whole experience was awesome and each of the ladies that worked there was amazing to work with! I highly suggest getting a dress from this shop! They were quick to answer any questions and were great with communication. Everything turned out perfectly and I can't thank the ladies enough for helping me find my PERFECT ball gown!! I added detachable sleeves that were made out of the extra lace from the top part of my gown and they couldn't have looked any better!

Most Genuine People!
The women at Coastal Knot in Wilmington are the kindest, most patient and supportive people, and they made finding my dream dress one of the most fun and stress-free experiences. The store for starters is absolutely stunning and you are welcomed in immediately. Amanda, who is the most wonderful and encouraging person, asked me about my style, what silhouettes I was interested in and my budget and helped pull several beautiful gowns for me. When I found gowns I liked that were out of my budget range, she was amazing and would find me alternatives that were more affordable to make sure I never tried on anything outside of my specified budget. In the dressing room, she helped me get dressed and after actively listening to my likes and dislikes about the dress I was trying on, she would pull a new gown to reflect those requests that was exactly what I was picturing. Within 8 dresses I was in my dream dress and it was all because of her and her incredible ability to understand your style and her deep knowledge of the gowns in the store. Flash forward a few months later and I began working with the incredible Kirsten and Laura during my fittings. Laura altered my and my sister's gown - she hemmed the bottom of both our dresses, adjusted both our straps and seamlessly added covered buttons on my wedding dress. Everything turned out perfectly! Kirsten helped us through the whole process and she not only delivered both of our gowns to Wrightsville Manor on wedding day, but she hand steamed them too! Coastal Knot was the best decision and I completely recommend working with them. It has been such a wonderful experience!

When I first arrived to Coastal Knot, I had probably tried on 30+ dresses or at least it felt like it. I tried other places in town and also in my hometown and online, but I just couldn't find the right look. I was really starting to worry that I'd never find the right dress in time! I told the staff what I was looking for and what I didn't want also, and they immediately found at least five great options - like collectively those five looked way better than say the top five at all other stores combined. I ended up going with one of the first dresses that was suggested! They just really paid attention to what I wanted and I found that throughout the wedding planning process that the best vendors are this way! ;) They were super easy to work with and I didn't have to worry at all as I waited for my dress or when I had the in house alterations. The dress was perfectly altered to fit me, and I was even able to hide my comfy blue sneakers. They also have a great selection of earrings and I ended up trying like 20 looks and picked the perfect pair there. They also have a cleaning service so I'm using that to clean up from my rainy, muddy day.
Stop trying on dresses at other shops and looking online. This is your dress shop!!

Coastal Knot provided the perfect wedding dress shopping experience from start to finish. They helped make me feel beautiful, affirm my decision, and make me feel completely comfortable. There is nothing worse to me than pushy salespeople and that was never once the case with Coastal Knot. I also bought my gorgeous veil from them and they had a great selection of jewelry as well. The big trend when I was shopping was completely lace-covered dresses. I knew I wanted a chic crepe dress with clean lines, and it was hard to find. But at Coastal Knot I found my dream dress! When I saw a small stain on it after it had been altered, Coastal Knot was able to get it out perfectly for me free of charge. It was a wonderful experience!

A beautiful boutique
Although I did not purchase my wedding dress from Coastal Knot, I was so impressed by the friendliness of the staff and cozy, cheerful set-up of the store, that I returned there when it was time to purchase a veil. They welcomed me and helped me choose the right length and material for my look. They were mindful of my timeline and I was able to get the veil in time for my hair trial run. A couple days before the wedding I returned and they steamed the veil free of charge. It was such a perfect accessory and looks beautiful in the pictures. So happy Coastal Knot was able to be a part of my special day! I would highly recommend them for both wedding dresses and accessories!

Coastal Knot was my retreat from all the wedding craziness. The ladies there are just so fun, welcoming, and caring. I am so thankful I got to work with Amber and Stephanie in the Raleigh store. The Perfect Dress
I had the best experiences with The Coastal Knot teams in both Raleigh and Wilmington. I had my first dress shopping experience in the Raleigh shop. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted but through trying on dresses I was not liking what I thought I would. Casey was VERY Helpful and was making suggestions on what she thought I would want. She tried to get me to try on a dress 4 times saying I would love it, just try it, it wont hurt anything if you don't like it. Finally after several other dresses I gave in. It ended up being THE DRESS. I should have trusted Casey's opinion from the start! The Stella York Dress was absolutely perfect and I did not want to take it off!

I went to the Coastal Knot located in Wilmington on Oleander Drive. This was the first place I went to when looking for my wedding dress and I cannot say enough nice things about this shop. The appointment was easy to book and the store is fantastic. I thought the dressing rooms had plenty of space and I liked that each mirror and pedestal outside the dressing rooms was sectioned off for a little privacy. The best part about the experience was my bridal consultant, Kirsten. She was amazing despite me not having much of a preference when it came to what type of dresses to try on. She let me browse the racks on my own for a bit while she went to find a few dresses she thought I would like. I never felt like she was just saying nice things or continuously agreeing with me about each dress in order to get me to buy something. She gave honest opinions and seemed genuinely invested in helping me find a dress I would love. My mom got a picture of me in the dress I plan on buying with her in the background and I can only hope my future husband looks that happy when he sees my in that dress. I would highly recommend this shop and Kirsten to anyone looking for wedding dresses in the Wilmington area, especially if this is your first time trying them on.

Everyone at Coastal Knot is SO nice and SO accommodating. From the second I walked in to my last visit the customer service was phenomenal. We looked at both the Raleigh store and Wilmington store and was torn between a dress at each location. The owner kindly offered to bring the dress in Raleigh TO the Wilmington store the next day so that I could try them on side by side. That is the kind of above and beyond service they provide. The dress I purchased was beautiful and they altered in perfectly. I even brought them my moms 80's veil and they were able to completely transform it and add lace from my dress to it. Best wedding dress shopping experience ever!!

I bought my Hayley Paige wedding gown, veil and belt in the beautiful Raleigh location. Janna and Casey were my consultants and were absolutely amazing!! They were both so friendly, kind, funny, helpful and organized!! They were also prompt in answering our questions leading up to the wedding. I looked at a LOT of dress shops and though there are many great places out there, Coastal Knot of Wilmington has the total package and I could not be any happier with the entire process with them. My dress made me feel the best I ever have and it truly was my dream dress. The lovely ladies that worked with me seemed to have y best interest in mind and were not pushy. Love this dress store. They have the most current and fresh inventory, they are always so welcoming and made me feel so special and comfortable from day 1. I love the style and how clean and relaxing the store was. All of the girls were so helpful and really wanted to help me find the right dress for me. There was an issue with my dress after alterations and the staff was so helpful and accommodating so we got the issue fixed right away. If you are looking for a dress you must stop at one of the Coastal Knot stores, they really have a welcoming staff and are constantly getting in new dresses. I went to many dress stores in Wilmington, Charleston and Raleigh and came back to Coastal Knot in Wilmington. I found not only the best staff but that the dresses were the best looking, best quality for a way better price than most. I am so happy I bought my dress from here and have been sending my friends there ever since.

5 stars is not enough for Coastal Knot - Wilmington!! I went to six other salons (most in the DC area) before going to CK, and it was a world of difference! All the CK ladies are the best of the best!! I was never rushed and felt like the CK girls customer service was incomparable. My dress came in from the designer and was too big but they let me buy the sample at a discount and threw in a belt! Alterations was quick and awesome as well! I cannot recommend this bridal salon enough for their selection of dresses or their customer service!! Thank you CKW!

Our bride found her dress....a Stella York....and, while not available at the Wilmington store, was sent to the Shallotte location. It wasn't 'this year's dress' but Maggie made sure to get it for a trunk show they were hosting. It isn't often that a bride sees a dress online and thinks it will be perfect....then gets it, tries it on, and realizes it truly is perfect! Definitely stop by Coastal Knot Bridal! Everyone is super friendly and they have a large selection of beautiful dresses, shoes, and earrings at good prices. I found the store after I had already purchased my gown but Kristin went above and beyond to help me find a veil that would match my dress, which was no easy task! She was able to contact the vendor and have swatches brought in so that I could find the color veil to match my dress exactly. I am not sure if this is possible with every vendor, but Kristen and the rest of the ladies are very knowledgeable of their products, and if there is anything they can do to help you find the special look you are going for, I am certain they will do everything they can to help.

Coastal Knot is such an amazing local wedding dress and accessory boutique - I began my search at their Shallotte location, but after not finding "the one" I wanted to check out their Wilmington location to hopefully find the dress. I showed her what I was looking for and the very first gown she pulled for me was exactly what I wanted!! I fell in love with the first gown I tried, but wanted to try on more gowns anyway to be sure. I tried on over 30 gowns and she helped me try each gown on and was patient and wonderful the whole time! She never pressured me to purchase anything and said for me to take my time thinking about it and give her a call when I'm ready to order. The selection of gowns is amazing! Maggie was awesome to work with - she offered suggestions but wasn't pushy at all. She made my mom and I feel totally comfortable. The ordering was a breeze and Maggie always responded quickly and professionally. I also bought my veil here. After my dress came in, I stopped in their new Wilmington store, which was beautiful. I bought a bracelet to wear on my wedding day - and it was a great price! Overall, I highly recommend a visit to this store - at either location; you won't be disappointed!

They go above and beyond to find you the perfect dress. I didn't find ''the dress'' at my first appointment, but they took it upon themselves to put so much time and effort into researching their catalogs to find me the perfect dress. I can't even remember how I found out about Coastal Knot but I'm so happy I did! Stacey was so helpful making an appointment for me, they had the exact time and date that I wanted. We were greeted by the nicest lady ever, Sue, when we walked in. We had the boutique to our self the entire time which was awesome! Sue helped direct me to gowns that looked like the pictures I brought. They have a fabulous selection. After trying on about ten gowns I said yes to the third one I tried on! Oh, and this was my first time trying on dresses! We even figured out a way to customize the dress a little to make it that much more perfect. I will recommend Coastal Knot to every bride I know! Now I can't wait for it to come in!

I loved this Boutique! I was at the beach with my mother and MOH and thought we would go look around. We were so surprised by their beautiful selection. It was just the bridal experience I had imagined. The staff was great and really listened to my style and kept my budget in mind. She really knew what would look good on me (more than I did). I would definitely recommend this boutique if you are in the area!!

I originally went to Coastal Knot with a specific dress in mind. Once it was on, it didn't live up to what I wanted for my big day. Amanda was very helpful in picking different choices and ultimately got me in my prefect dress. Her dresses were very competitively priced and she offered a good selection of bridesmaids dresses as well.

Coastal Knot was the first and last place I looked for my wedding dress. Through trying on around 50 gorgeous dresses to finding 'the one', I had a wonderful experience. It was everything I wanted that day to be and then some! I would recommend Coastal Knot to any my friends in search of the perfect dress!

I looked at 3 huge places in Charlotte and one in Wilmington before coming here and didn't find a dress that I loved. I came to Coastal Knot Boutique expecting to it to end like all the other stores. Instead I found several gorgeous dresses that were in my price range. I fell in love with one of the dresses and can't wait to get married in it!! Amanda was so helpful and helped me find the gown and veil that were even better than what I dreamed of!!

I could not be happier with Coastal Knot Bridal! Although I live in Wilmington, I traveled to Shallotte to look at dresses and not only fell in love with a dress, but I absolutely loved Amanda, the owner, and her amazing dress shop. Her store is organized, elegant, easy to shop in and just adorable! Even though I could get the same dress in Wilmington, I traveled to Shallotte because I was instantly connected to Amanda and her amazing service. The process was easy and Amanda did everything to make me feel special. I would highly recommend this dress shop if you are looking for gorgeous dresses and outstanding customer service! Let me just start out by saying that Amanda, the owner of Coastal Knot was so very friendly and personable that she really made my experience such a joy! The store itself has such a beautiful atmosphere and is filled with the most gorgeous, intricate gowns you could imagine. She also did alteration work on my dress and everything came out perfectly. My Mom and I had such a wonderful experience finding my dress at Coastal Knot. I will never forget it and we have Amanda to thank for that!

I love the Coastal Knot Team!!! I worked with Amanda several times and each time she was patient and super sweet! I tried on a bunch of different dresses and had a really hard time deciding. She saw the type of dress I was looking for and ordered a dress that she thought I would like. When the dress she ordered came in, I went to try it on and it was absolutely perfect!
They offered to steam my dress before my bridal portraits and before my wedding. They were also prompt about calling me when my dress and veil arrived. They were more than accommodating!
In my opinion, no amount of value can describe the amazing service I received from the Coastal Knot Team. They were professional, affordable, and made my wedding dress shopping experience one-of-a-kind!
I've heard many horror stories about wedding dress shopping and I can say FOR SURE that my experience was perfect and everything I had ever dreamed of. They made me look fabulous on my wedding day and I could not ask for more!

After hearing horror stories from other brides about dress shopping nightmares I was a little apprehensive to begin the search for my own gown. My worries quickly evaporated at Coastal Knot. Amanda was knowledgeable, patient, and very flexible through the process of choosing and ordering my wedding gown. She later ordered my bridesmaid dresses and veil too. All of these transactions were smooth and hassle free. When waiting on my dress (and the BM dresses) she was great about staying in touch and keeping me updated on delivery dates and times. Since I have out of town bridesmaids in the wedding party she was even willing to make special appointments to accomodate fittings. After dealing with numerous vendors that seemed to make me feel like they're doing ME a favor, it was so refreshing to meet someone in the industry so attentive and flexible. I also used Laura for my alterations, and they were completed very quickly and perfectly to my requests. We've had a wonderful experience right from the start at Coastal Knot, and plan to rent tuxedos from Amanda as well. I can hardly wait to see the entire wedding party looking their finest on my big day!

When I came to Coastal Knot I had no idea that I would find the dress that I had been dreaming about. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses after getting engaged, and I am normally a very indecisive person. From the very beginning Amanda made the whole experience very easy and relaxed and I felt comfortable sharing what I really thought of each dress. After trying on six dresses I tried on the last one and I didn't want to take it off! It had every element that I wanted on a dress without me realizing it by looking at it on the hanger (it was actually Amanda's pick!) Everyone loved it from that day through the wedding day and talked about how perfect it was for me. I also picked out a veil, shoes, and bridesmaids dresses that day. My bridesmaids ordered their dresses over the phone without seeing the dress, and Amanda was very helpful with sizes. When the dresses came they loved their dresses so much that they didn't want to take them off and kept trying them on before the wedding. Thank you Coastal Knot for helping me to have my dream wedding dress!

I highly recommend Coastal Knot Bridal Boutique!! It was so much fun to find my perfect dress with Amanda. The boutique has a wide selection of dress styles but is small enough to not be overwhelming or feel impersonal. Every visit there is like a visit with family! I also got my hairpiece and bridesmaids' dresses from Coastal Knot. Everything was perfect and I couldn't be happier!

From beginning to end, Amanda was magnificent! After trying several dresses, I put on the dress that I fell in love with. She was so attentive and sweet. Laura did my alterations she was amazing. She did my daughters dress from my train that I wanted cut off, it turned out beautiful and my dress ended up fitting me like a glove! Amazing service and great selection. I loved working with Amanda at the coastal knot to find my wedding dress! Her store is really nice and she has the dresses hanging up instead of being stuffed in those plastic bags. While at the store I received a lot of personal attention and she was the one that actually picked out the dress that I ended up getting. She was incredibly patient, I didn't feel rushed, and she probably would have let me try on every dress in the store.
We ordered a belt to go with my dress and when it came in, the color didn't match my dress. She worked to get it replaced, and when it still came in the wrong color, she let me trade it with any belt she had.
If you want amazing customer service and a good selection of beautiful wedding gowns then Coastal Knot is where you should go.

I had a wonderful experience at Coastal Knot Shallotte! I chose it because, according to their website, their dresses were in my price point, whereas the other locations were far above it. Leslie was so friendly and helpful. It is a smaller shop, but that made it easier for me to pick things out that I would like and make decisions. I came in on my own with a quick wedding date (just 3 months away!), and she helped me find my dream dress. I have a terrible time making decisions, but she made the process so easy.
The only downside was that, as a petite bride, it was very difficult to see myself in the dresses as many of the sample sizes do not come in smaller/petite sizing. This means my alterations cost that much more. Also, with such a quick wedding date, I could not order the dress, but had to purchase it from the rack. I am totally fine with this and completely expected it! However, the dress I did purchase, though my dream dress, was missing some beading on the straps that will need to be replaced (again, money in my alterations cost), and the bottom was very obviously dusty (considering it needs to be shortened a lot, though, this wasn't a big deal).
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Leslie, and this location is quaint. I wish they offered smaller sample sizes for smaller brides and that dresses from the rack had a bit more attention to detail paid to them. But please do not let that deter you from going here! Pricing is reasonable, and the shop is perfect for a more personalized appointment. :)

Found the Perfect Dress
This was our second stop on the search for wedding dresses. I had previously found a dress that was a top contender at another shop closer to home and was not very optimistic that I was going to find a dress to replace it at a smaller boutique. BUT, I ended up finding two dresses at Coastal Knot that I liked better than the first dress and both were much more cost-conscious. I fell in love with an Essence of Australia dress with full sleeves (perfect for my winter wedding).
Laura was amazing with my alterations and was able to add a full back and privacy panel that looked like they were each original to the dress. My bridesmaids were SHOCKED when they found out the back had been added in alterations.
Leslie was also great to work with and was not pushy at all - even when it came to veils (which I decided to forgo given all the detailing in my dress). She was extremely helpful. She listened to what I wanted and pulled dresses that could work (even if they didn't seem like they would looking at them on the hanger).
I would definitely recommend trying Coastal Knot - even if you think you may not have as much luck at a smaller shop (versus David's Bridal or Carolina Bridal World, etc.) It only takes one dress to be THE dress and you never know where that dress may be!

I got my rehearsal dinner dress and my veil from here. My rehearsal dinner dress was about in the $200 range and was completely customized to me. I chose the color and the pattern and it was made for me. Absolutely loved it. Took a little time to come in, but again it was custom and arrived in plenty of time for the wedding and got many compliments on it. I also got my beautiful veil from there. I did get a cathedral length veil and happened to have my ceremony in a wind storm, so it flew away many times, but it was gorgeous and made for some great pictures!

The service and everything was great at coastal knot! Everyone was super nice and helpful. My only complaint is that they sized me incorrectly for my dress and I ended up having to have it let out all the way down the side of the dress which was a hefty alterations bill. :/ all turned out fine though and the dress was perfect in the end thanks to my amazing seamstress!

Maggie and the rest of the team at Coastal Knot Bridal in Shallotte were a wonder! A hidden gem in the middle of the little town I grew up in! They had the line of dresses I was interested in and a nice variety of styles just in that designer alone, not to mention all the other lines they carried! I had also looked everywhere for shoes and ended up finding an adorable pair of heels there for MUCH less than I had found online AND they dyed them the exact shade of my bridesmaids dresses!!! They were so responsive, so kind and understanding, and SO helpful! When I was trying on dresses they treated me as if I was a VIP customer and they were equally kind to my mom and aunt who had come with me!
