  Michael at Coastal Lighting did an amazing job lighting our wedding at the Bel Air Bay Club. Felt like we were in a magical event space. The perfect team for the perfect day! And I can't say enough about Michael- nice, knowledgeable, and caring! Will be on my list for the next event we plan that needs a lighting expert!

  Outstanding service

  I am so glad we hired Michael from Coastal Events to provide lighting for my daughter's wedding at the Bel Air Bay Club. I had not budgeted for lighting and was not sure I wanted to spend the extra money. Also, I was worried that the lights might be too garish or Prom like. I could not have been more wrong. Michael listened and understood our vision perfectly. He made the event come to life more beautifully than I could have imagined. Moreover he seemed to be someone who truly enjoys what he does and went above and beyond to provide excellent service at every turn. We got uplighting, stage lights, dance lights, cake lights, and two custom monogram gobos. He stayed on-site all day to make sure everything was perfect. Although this was not inexpensive, it was definitely value for the money. I highly recommend Michael from Coastal lighting to take your event to the next level!

  Coastal Event Lighting was absolutely amazing and truly transformed our wedding day event space. Michael was incredibly fast with his responses from the moment we hired him and made the lighting unique to our wedding vision. We especially loved the custom monogram! Michael also was so kind to bring extra lights as we had to move our event indoors due to rain, and he and his team arrived early to ensure everything was set up properly. We couldn’t have had as beautiful of a wedding without Coastal Event Lighting and highly recommend for you to hire them for your event. Absolutely amazing service. Thank you so much Michael!!!

  Event Lighting

  We are beyond thrilled with our experience with Micheal's team at Coastal Event Lighting and Productions. We hosted a large scale event this February and the focal point was the lighting. After our first inquiry call, we knew we could trust him to deliver. Day of the event, our lighting vision came to life and it surpassed our expectations. Truly an expert and artist. We will be using him for our corporate events for years to come! We will highly recommend to friends and family as well.

It was a unique request and he made it come to life! It was quite the conversation starter with our guests because it was personal to us and we couldn’t be more appreciative. And then last minute, he came through with us wanting to add an additional service of uplighting in our reception space, and was more than happy to accommodate. Michael always responded quickly which is exactly what you want and NEED during the stress of planning and of course on the big day. Highly recommend Coastal Event Lighting!!

  Coastal Event knocked my wedding at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills out of the park! I am SUPER picky and was beyond impressed with their talent, professionalism, kindness and dedication. You would be absolutely insane to go anywhere else for lighting and production needs.
  
  I also got the Photo Booth option and John was so kind, patient, professional, and the Photo Booth was a HUGE hit with my guests.
  
  Mike stayed the whole time until the very end of my wedding and after working so hard, still welcomed me and family with a smile giving us positivity and ending on a positive note.
  
  We are super grateful for all of your dedication and kindness to the most important day of our lives Mike and John! Thank you so much - you guys are the best. See you soon for future celebrations!

  Michael was such a pleasure to work with. He did a fantastic job for our wedding at Malibu West Beach Club. He is very kind, responsive and went above and beyond for us.   Best decision made for our big day

  HIRE THESE GUYS!! The owner Micheal is absolutely amazing. I was only 1 day away from my wedding and they some how completely planned my lighting for the event. Custom projected Monogram, LED uplighting, dance lighting and cake highlight was what I had asked for. They showed up in the early morning for my evening 6pm start time to make sure everything was properly placed and ready. I even threw them a curve ball and asked they bring a dry ice smoke machine for the first dance the day of! Somehow they got it arranged and made it happen. I couldn’t believe it. It was great and was a huge relief in a rather stressful time/timeline.
  Micheal was my favorite vendor. He was so kind, appreciative of my business and really treated our wedding as it was his own. He already knew our venue inside and out including the staff. He worked with the venue and DJ to create the perfect mood for each segment, without asking turned all my party light sticks on and even sent us over 450 photos and videos of the event! Micheal will go above and beyond to make it perfect. Again, making sure we had a great time. They did not miss a beat!
  You will not be disappointed!

Their lighting really made the space (a run-of-the-mill social hall) look like a fancy event space. They were phenomenally communicative, easy to work with, and frankly, just delightful! I couldn't recommend them enough. Pricing was totally reasonable, too! They also have connections for many other vendors, if needed!

Michael is kind, patient, thorough, and genuinely fun to work with. I am a designer by trade and had a specific vision of lanterns hanging overhead in addition to string lights. Michael and his team did a spectacular job on a very big ask and I could not have been more grateful. So many people commented about how the lighting set a festive and beautiful tone and I couldn't agree more. He was kind in every interaction and made us feel like family. I am a tough critic and I genuinely could not recommend him more. We had the most amazing experience!

  Amazing experience!

  Coastal Event Lighting truly went above and beyond!! We got married at the Skirball, and Michael knew that venue inside and out. He was so easy to work with, very reasonably priced, and just extremely friendly. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and wants everything to be top notch. We couldn't decide on a color, and left the decision in Michael's capable hands. He 10000% delivered! Would highly recommend him to anyone who needs lighting for an event, whether it be at the Skirball, another venue, a private residence, etc.

  Coastal Event Lighting truly went above and beyond!! We got married at the Skirball, and Michael knew that venue inside and out. He was so easy to work with, very reasonably priced, and just extremely friendly. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and wants everything to be top notch. We couldn't decide on a color, and left the decision in Michael's capable hands. He 10000% delivered! Would highly recommend him to anyone who needs lighting for an event, whether it be at the Skirball, another venue, a private residence, etc.

  Amazing! Do not hesitate on hiring

  Micheal was absolutely incredible! I requested a next level broadway Alice in wonderland production for my wedding. He completely understood the assignment and went above and beyond. Working with him was so easy and everything went better than I could’ve ever expected. 10000000000 outta 10 would recommend for any and all events!!!

Mike is easy to work with, super responsive, and beyond friendly, and even helped me think through the best use of lighting and cold sparklers for my wedding. the company really goes the extra mile to be your partner and not just your vendor. There are also tons of lighting options they offer so you don’t feel pigeon holed to a certain selection. Definitely recommend this vendor!!

  Lights, Flags, and Drapery

  Coastal Events is absolutely spectacular AND so kind! Not only were they able to hang my paper flags in the barn, but they also contacted me a few days before the wedding letting us know they had a previous client who had lights hung and we could use them free of charge! 10/10 recommendation!

  Coastal Event Lightings did an outstanding job lighting the venue for our wedding. Our venue was large and outdoors, and definitely a lighting challenge, but Michael and his team lit the event beautifully, filling our venue with 16+ uplights that lined the walls and pillars of the venue. The lights also changed color with the beat of the music, helping bring the party to life.
  
  On top of the job we hired him for, Michael also came to the rescue at zero hour on an unrelated matter: The wedding canopy for our ceremony kept blowing over prior to start time because of the wind. He was able to provide us with sandbags to hold the canopy upright and sturdy.
  
  Michael’s professionalism and dependability offered great peace of mind when we were trying to juggle so many other aspects of our wedding. If you’re looking for lighting or other event services, I highly recommend you hire Coastal Events. You’ll be very happy you did!
