    10/10 Best experience!!

    Brianna was absolutely amazing!!! We ended up having to do a last second change with our florist and she handled everything like a pro and made sure our day was perfect. She was incredibly responsive and made herself available whenever we needed her. She also has a ton of experience in the industry and her familiarity with all kinds of vendors was a huge relief and made for seamless communication and stress-free wedding day for us. We could not have asked for a better coordinator and cannot recommend her and the Clementine team enough!

    Best Wedding Planner Ever!

    We hired Mary Klein from Clementine as a full service wedding planner about 9 months before our June 2025 wedding; and she was our lifeline the entire time! The only vendors we had hired at that point were the photographer and venue, so needless to say, we were lost. Right away Mary got to work and helped us create our vision with clear plans of action the entire way. Mary answered countless questions (even questions we hadn't thought of yet!) and gave us solid advice throughout every step of the way. From vendor recommendations/communications to design ideas to quickly solving problems before the wedding; Mary executed our vision perfectly. Day of the wedding could not have gone any smoother for us, literally all we had to do was show up. We did not have to worry about a single thing. And for that we can thank Mary Klein and Clementine Custom Events. We could not recommend them more.

    The Best Wedding Planner

    Dana Konya is an absolute rockstar and truly helped make our wedding day and weekend a perfect dream come true. We worked with Dana for almost two years and she is one of the most caring, detailed, organized, and amazing people we have met. We were constantly impressed by how she was able to remember every detail of our vision and made sure to advocate for that vision to all of our vendors.

    She helped us execute two completely different wedding ceremonies and receptions all in one day. With her many years of experience in the wedding world, she helped us bring together at stellar vendor team. Dana helped coordinate with nearly 15 different vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page and aligned to the vision of our wedding. She took the stress off of our shoulders and also made sure our friends and family could enjoy the day without any added tasks.

    Words cannot describe how thankful we are to Dana and we will truly miss working with her! Our wedding day would not have been possible without all of her help. We could not recommend a better wedding planner than Dana and the amazing Clementine Team!

    Review for Suzy Sparacio – Clementine Custom Events

    Suzy was absolutely wonderful in helping us bring our wedding vision to life. As an interracial, intercultural marriage, I was initially nervous, but Suzy was perfect in helping us execute every detail seamlessly. You spend so much time with your planner, and with Suzy’s warmth and professionalism, she made everything feel so much easier. We had one beautiful day dedicated to traditional Hindu ceremonies and another for a non-denominational celebration, and from our first meeting, she brought genuine care and thoughtfulness to each day. Suzy felt like a true friend, and her kindness and expertise made it so easy to trust her every step of the way. My family adored her as much as I did, and it’s so clear she truly loves what she does.     Mary is the best

    Mary was literally the best ever. I used Clementine for a Day of Planner. She started working with me a month and a half out from my wedding and I swear she saved my life. Within a week from our first meeting she fixed all the last minute struggles I was having. Even all my vendors and my wedding party kept coming to tell me how amazing Mary was! She's so kind and answered my every question along the way. If for any reason I have to do this all again, you bet I'm requesting her!

    Incredible Experience Working With Mary

    Choosing Clementine and having the opportunity to work with Mary was by far one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. Mary was excellent from the moment she took over two months to the very end of our reception. She is organized, knowledgeable, efficient, and, most of all, incredibly kind. Mary's dedication and expertise helped ensure that our wedding day ran smoothly, even with an emergency, which she went above and beyond to handle! My whole family enjoyed working with Mary so much that my brother immediately contacted her about his upcoming wedding. We are so excited to have the opportunity to work with Mary again!

    Best wedding coordinator ever!

    We had the pleasure of working with Brianna as our day-of coordinator and had an unbelievable experience. I seriously could not imagine how we could've gotten through the day without her. It was amazing to have the peace of mind in the time leading up to the wedding to just sit back and enjoy the excitement, and know Brianna was taking care of all the important details. Same with the day of our wedding-- we were able to flow through the day freely while Brianna kept us on a perfect schedule and all our vendors in order without us even realizing what was happening. Countless times when I would remember a random detail and start to stress, I would turn to Brianna and she would already have it taken care of - like magic. Besides keeping everything perfectly in-line, Brianna brought her joyous positivity to every moment we spent with her. She helped us to truly enjoy this season of our lives.     Flawless experience

    I am the mother of the groom and a bit of a control freak. Brianna Kamp of Clementine released me from my micro-managing ways. She began working 8 weeks out and made sure all the contracts were in order, that we knew when and how much vendors should be paid, coordinated details with the vendors, participated in walk thrus, offered advice, provided a gratuity chart and more. For the rehearsal dinner she was indispensable: she managed the evening. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly. I can't imagine a more perfect day. And it wouldn't have happened without Brianna's coordination, attention to detail, friendly and calm demeanor. All I had to do was enjoy myself.

    Dana from Clementine is the BEST!!

    WOW, where do I even begin. Working with Dana from Clementine was hands down, the best planning decision we made for our wedding. From the first time we got on the phone, Dana was so easy to communicate with, and immediately knew exactly what we wanted, and didn't want. Every step of the way, she made sure we got done what we needed to, and let us relax/enjoy being engaged in between crunch times. Dana helped us navigate the overwhelming wedding industry, and gave so much helpful insight into dos and don'ts for the big day. She also was just so fun to talk to, it felt like catching up with a friend, not another zoom meeting we had to do (we planned our wedding remotely from SF - she was super accommodating with the time change!). When doing the walk throughs/tastings with vendors, Dana knew all the right questions to ask, and made us feel so confident in our decisions. She also helped us save money where we could. I would recommend Dana to everyone and anyone that is getting married!!

    Absolutely incredible experience with Mary!

    My husband, Dan, and I worked with Mary Klein for our big day, and we truly don’t have the right words to describe how amazing she is. We could not have done it without her. From the very beginning, she was so thoughtful, helpful, and extremely organized. We felt at ease after the first call we had with her!

    The weeks leading up to the event, she was on top of everything - getting in contact with our vendors, giving us recommendations for things we never even considered, checking in on how we were feeling. But then the day of, she went above and beyond. I felt like dan and I didn’t need to worry about a thing!!! She Was in the room with the girls to ensure we had everything we needed, she helped with a dress malfunction on my wedding dress, she walked one of the ring bearers down the aisle because he was crying, the list goes on!! I can’t write in words how valuable Mary was to the day.

    Not only did she cross everything off the box (and then some), but Mary is so genuine and kind. She never made us feel like we were asking too much or asking silly questions. She made us feel like humans and wanted us to be happy and comfortable on our most important day. Anyone is lucky to work with Mary, and I am so blessed that we had the privilege to meet her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

    Amazing to work with!

    Mary at Clementine was incredible to work with. From the beginning to the end, Mary was reliable, professional, proactive, and so so nice! She was delightful to work with!
    During the tasting and wedding, Mary was intuitive and asked detailed questions to ensure our wants/needs were met for the big day!
    With Mary's help, our day was perfect and it wouldn't have run so smoothly without her! After the ceremony, I wanted to move some floral arrangements downstairs & the venue said they couldn't do it, however, Mary made it happen!
    I appreciated her following up after the wedding to go over logistical things, as well!

    Cannot recommend Dana enough!!

    Dana is THE BEST! We could not have been in better hands for our wedding day. In the final hour of setup, the weather took a turn and there was a complete down pour. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner plan all had to shift 45 minutes before guest arrived. I don't know what we would have done if Dana and her team weren't there!! They stayed calm and transformed our 'Plan B' option into the wedding of our dreams!!

    I could not be more grateful to Dana and the whole Clementine team for they professionalism and positivity throughout the entire wedding planning process, but especially on our big day. I cannot recommend them enough! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

    I'd hire Mary and the Clementine team again in a heartbeat.

    Working with Mary was a dream. Not being from Chicago, I knew I would need a wedding planner. After speaking with 5 other vendors, I'm so glad we went with Mary and the Clementine team. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat.

    She is impeccably organized, easy to communicate with, and has brilliant ideas to help bring your vision to life. Not to mention, the vendors she connected us with were our perfect partners.

    On the day of, she ensured everything went smoothly--it felt effortless. I could be totally present throughout the whole day because Mary kept everything (and everyone) on schedule and had an amazing attitude while doing so. I couldn't have asked for more.     Best Wedding Planner Ever!

    Melissa from Clementine made our dream wedding a reality! We worked with Melissa for over a year and loved every minute of it! Melissa helped us design and create a wedding that was greater than anything we could have imagined. Melissa made the planning process so easy and fun! Melissa knows all the best vendors in Chicago, knows all the details needed to host an amazing wedding, and is without a doubt the best wedding planner out there! We are so grateful to Melissa and everything she did for us; we couldn’t have done it without her! Melissa is incredibly nice, kind, sweet, knowledgeable, professional, and was always there for us when we had a question, changed our minds on something, or had a mini freak-out. She was always available for an in-person meeting, call, or email. Melissa helped us have our dream wedding, one of the best days of our lives that we will remember forever, and we are forever grateful to her!     Amazing wedding coordinating experience!

    We had the best experience using Clementine Custom Events with Mary as our wedding coordinator! Mary was calm throughout the entire process and incredibly organized, and so helpful with all the details in the weeks leading up to the wedding. I appreciated how great Mary was at communicating! She was always quick to reply to my questions, and she communicated the process clearly so that I understood it all and how the wedding weekend would flow. She also did an amazing job coordinating all of our vendors and directing us and our families throughout the weekend - I cannot recommend her enough!

    Our wedding was perfect working with Melissa at Clementine

    We absolutely loved working with Melissa and felt taken care of in every step of the process. We did the partial planning with her; my (now) husband and I truly had no idea what we were doing, and she helped formulate our perfect day from finding the right venues, vendors, and guiding us on the decisions. We were also planning this wedding remotely from San Francisco, which was difficult, but made so much easier with her.     Hire the Clementine Team!

    If you’re looking for day-of-coordinating services, we’d highly recommend working with Clementine! My husband and I got married in June 2023 and worked directly with Mary starting a couple months out from our wedding. From the start, Mary made our lives so much easier. She helped coordinate the vendor and our day-of schedules and gave us so many helpful tips/reminders we would not have thought of ourselves! Beyond that, Mary is so calm, understanding, and kind. We felt she genuinely wanted us to have the best wedding day and went above and beyond in so many moments to make that happen! From our perspective, the day ran incredibly smoothly, despite many other Chicago summer events happening near our venue. We cannot thank Mary and Clementine Events for everything they did to make our wedding vision and dreams come true.

    Hiring Brianna with Clementine Events was the best decision I made for my wedding. I planned my wedding in 6 months and at the 5 month mark, I was struggling to figure out my timeline and logistics. I immediately began interviewing wedding coordinators. After all the planning I had done, I wanted to be able to show up and enjoy my hard work rather than stress the logistics and set up… That's where Brianna came in. From first meeting, Brianna was organized, informative, and creative with her suggestions. I was sold! After hiring her, she immediately began reviewing my contracts and plans so she could know my vision. Brianna handled vendor communications and developed an amazing timeline which I could share with my entire family and wedding party. If I had concerns, she was there to handle them. She even helped me navigate change of ceremony, cocktail hour and reception locations two weeks out (Yes, all three locations changed! :D). She was AMAZING and so supportive. She asked questions to my vendors I hadn’t thought of, provided ideas for decor, and gave an honest opinion where I needed it most. I could not imagine my wedding day without her. I truly got to experience the celebration as if I were a guest. I showed up, had fun, and trusted that the details would fall into place with her coordination. Thank you Brianna!!!!!     Elegance brought to life

    Jaci W. was our wedding planner for our Sept 2022 wedding at the Chicago Athletic Association. We chose her in part because of her experience with the venue, who was extremely difficult to work with. She took away all of the stress of dealing with them and the back and forth. She provided solutions for us and fought for what we wanted. She kept our wedding on budget and let us know when things were not worth the money. Her knowledge of the industry was a strength of hers as she had vendors and suggestions for everything. This was particularly helpful when photography and hair/makeup became difficult to book with our popular wedding date. Where Jaci really shinned was her day of coordination and managing her assistant. I did not know of one issue on the day of my wedding, which I know is because of her. Everything was impeccable. She understood our vision and brought it to life. Her passion for weddings and perfection gave us our dream wedding.

    Best planner ever!

    Jaci was an amazing planner! She came in about a month before our wedding. She was so proactive with coordinating our vendors. During the wedding day, she was so helpful in tweaking the timeline and corralling umbrellas (rain on the wedding day is good luck lol). She kept everyone moving with a positive and upbeat attitude. Cannot recommend her enough!

    Incredible Wedding Planning Services!

    Jaci from Clementine Events was a dream to work with! We decided to go with the Month-Of Planning Option, and Jaci actually reached out 1.5 months in advance to set up time for us to chat and to make sure we were on the same page. She was extremely thorough, and I felt she was able to pick up my vision almost immediately, which isn't so easy as I had planned everything up until that point! She answered every single one of my random thoughts and questions, calming all my concerns (Brides - you know those little nagging questions you have - she will answer them all and more!). She is very clearly extremely experienced, and I was relieved that she already knew and had relationships with almost all of my vendors. Jaci was professional and yet so friendly - I felt like she was a second Maid of Honor actually - she was prepared with everything. On the day of, she was the one to actually bustle my dress! She truly thought of everything, and as a result my day ran 100% smoothly!

    Suzy is the best planner in the world

    WOW. Just WOW!!! I wish I could give 10 stars because 5 isn't enough. Suzy was an absolute God-send for us. I don’t even know where to start with this review because words can’t do justice to how INCREDIBLE Suzy is, and what a huge help she was to us!! I’ll start by saying Suzy is one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. She is so incredibly warm and thoughtful, and she TRULY cares about all of her clients. Suzy is amazingly efficient and competent and able to multitask in dozens of directions at once and she does it without being rattled or losing patience or cheerfulness. There were plenty of very stressful moments throughout the planning process, and Suzy masterfully worked through every single one of them to make sure our day was PERFECT!! When our hotel tried to kick us and our entire room block out just weeks before the wedding, Suzy called the hotel manager and got the issue resolved in less then 24 hours. When dress alterations were not going as planned and I called Suzy in tears, she calmed me down and found 3 other places I could go for alterations on short notice. On the day of the wedding, when the bus driver left the hotel for the reception venue with the parents of the bride and groom on board, leaving them stranded, Suzy re-worked the entire transportation schedule to add additional stops and make sure everyone got to where they needed to be on time! And when the party went later than expected and there weren’t enough hands to clear the venue at the end of the night, she called her husband to come and help!!! And there were DOZENS of other small crises that Suzy prevented and fixed, all while remaining calm, composed, and cheerful. She did this all while being a true friend to us, always listening to our concerns and making sure that we felt heard, understood, and cared for. Suzy honestly makes one of the most challenging jobs in the world look easy. I have no idea how she does it!! Not only did she manage the dozens of vendors and the incredibly complicated logistics flawlessly, she did it all with a huge smile on her face, as if it was the easiest thing in the world. The whole experience was truly incredible. Suzy went SO far above and beyond what a planner is supposed to do, for no reason other than that she has the biggest heart and wanted our day to be perfect and full of love and joy. I will be lifelong friends with Suzy, and I owe her a debt I can never repay!! We are SO SO thankful to have had Suzy by our side throughout the entire process. Hire Suzy, and it will be the BEST DECISION you make for your wedding. She is hands down the BEST planner and day-of coordinator you could ever have.

    Jaci from Clementine is the BEST

    We had Jaci has our wedding planner and she was AMAZING to work with!!! I found wedding planning a stressful activity as a whole, but every time I called Jaci she would make me SO EXCITED, calm, reassured, and took all of the anxiety away! Just hearing her voice calmed me and got me excited for the big day. Jaci always brought great ideas to the table, suggested amazing vendors and was honest about design ideas, which is exactly what you need from a planner.

    I was always warned that things would go wrong on your wedding day, but Jaci made it the most perfect day and weekend. She had every hour planned meticulously and everything ran beyond smoothly. I was not stressed for one second of the wedding weekend and was truly able to enjoy every single moment of the weekend/day because Jaci had everything covered behind the scenes. And there was only one thing that went wrong the entire weekend… we ran out of tequila before dinner was over at the reception BUT Jaci had a plan to resolve and immediately took care of the issue before any guest noticed. We happily enjoyed more tequila for the rest of the night :) I would highly highly recommend working with Jaci and Clementine! She is the BEST!!

    Hire Jaci Immediately

    If you are even thinking of getting a wedding planner/coordinator I could not recommend Jaci enough. Jaci has been in the business for nine years and clearly knows what she’s doing. Not only have I worked at her side for many years but now I have also been one of her brides. I have watched her make so many brides happy on their wedding day but having her on my wedding day made the day so much smoother, easier and now I have experienced what so many other brides have gone through with Jaci. I had no worries on my wedding day because I knew she had everything covered. Even my husband at the end of the night said I now understand why we paid the money to hire Jaci. Jaci is professional, organized, and the most caring person you’ll ever meet. I promise that she will make your wedding the most perfect day ever.

    On another note, her assistant Brittany was AMAZING for working with our group of men on the wedding day and assisting Jaci wherever she needed it!!!

    Thanks to Dana, my husband and I were able to sit back and enjoy our wedding day to the fullest. I’m going to miss working with her so much, because she made all the planning fun and easy. Truly was the best day of our lives and she played a huge role in making it happen.

    A great experience using Clementine Custom Events!

    We were so happy with our decision to hire Mary Klein from Clementine. It was great having her deal with all the vendors and her detailed timeline was invaluable. She has a calm demeanor and I never worried about her ability to deal with any last minute issues. She is familiar with many of the vendors and that was very helpful, especially when decided at the last moment to provide transportation for our guests. Bottom line, working with Mary allowed us to be fully present at our daughter's wedding and to enjoy the weekend. I look forward to working with her again at my other daughter's wedding in September!

    Jaci Weber was our wedding planner and she went above and beyond to make my wedding dreams come true. As a bride who paid very close to details and had a very clear vision of what I wanted on my wedding day, Jaci made it ALL come to life. She nailed every single detail. When I walked into my reception for the first time, I was at a lose of words for how happy I was. Jaci was one of the first people to come up to me and give me a hug and tell me congrats. She has a very big heart, genuine nature and loves her job. She was super responsive to emails and made sure I felt supported during the planning process. I had a sailcloth tent wedding, which requires multiple vendors, logistics and details. Jaci coordinated all of my details with all my vendors and made sure nothing was left out. She has so much experience in the wedding industry and she provided me game changing tips that truly made the day so magical.

    The day of the wedding was executed so well! I was able to enjoy the moment and truly just have fun. I am so grateful to her and Clementine Custom Events. My wedding was truly the best day of my life.

    Jaci was amazing


    We worked with Jaci for our wedding day… or Saint Jaci as I started calling her. She was our day of coordinator and we had added advice and recommendations. Meaning Jaci took over about 8 weeks out but all the while I was planning I could ask her questions. Truly calling Jaci our “day of coordinator” feels like we’re selling her short.

    Jaci got many panicked emails from me up until a few days before the wedding but was always incredibly helpful and sweet in helping me solve every problem. She was always providing insight and staying in touch throughout the entire planning process.

    Our wedding day was amazing and I wouldn’t change a single thing. Jaci made sure all of our vendors knew what to do and where to be but also our family and bridal party. All I had to do the day of our wedding was get married and have fun. At first I wasn’t sure if we would get a coordinator and now I cannot imagine our wedding without Jaci. From sewing my veil together 20 minutes before the ceremony, to making sure we had the right champagne (very important), to doing my very complicated bustle, our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without Jaci!!!

    Amazing!

    We worked with Dana from Clementine and I don't think there are enough words to express how grateful we are and how amazing she is. We booked Clementine for their "day of" planning services and I am going to recommend that to anyone anywhere planning a wedding. Dana came in about 2 months before the big day and handled pretty much everything. She created the most detailed (and amazing) timeline, coordinated everything with the vendors, and essentially set up the day to run as smooth as possible. On the actual weekend, she was there to make sure the rehearsal went on without a hitch and on the day of the wedding made sure that everything ran according to plan. If anything went wrong or I had a question to anything, she had an answer! My bustle even broke on my dress and she was able to fix it! It was the BEST money we spent throughout this process. Cannot recommend her or Clementine enough!!

    5 Stars, Cannot recommend enough!

    Where do I even start when it comes to how thankful we are to have worked with Jaci. To a "COVID Bride", she was so much more than a planner. She was a therapist, friend and overall voice of reason during a time when it seemed like our perfect wedding may never happen. Her positivity and calm demeanor always put us at ease and there was never a doubt that we were in good hands. We hired her for "Day of" planning, as well as floral and decor for our June 2021 wedding. I can't even count how many times she went above and beyond what was expected. Despite changing dates and juggling multiple weddings, Jaci always made us feel like we were her #1 priority. When our florist fell through, not only did she have a new one lined up within 48 hours, but one who knocked it out of the park on the first try. On the day of, Jaci and her assistant Anna did an amazing job making sure our wedding day went perfectly. Our vendors, wedding party and family were so impressed with their professionalism and appreciated their help as much as we did. Jaci's dedication also didn't end at the end of the night. She followed-up after the wedding to ensure everything was taken care of, so we were able to have a worry-free honeymoon. We are truly grateful for everything Jaci did for us and cannot recommend her enough!

    Amazing Grace !!!!!

    Clementine is simply the BEST coordinator out there. After postponing our wedding a few times due to COVID, we were reshuffled and placed in the gracious hands of our angel Grace. And gosh did we get LUCKY. Grace got to work before she was contracted to, arrives earlier than she needed to, coordinated with our vendors and the venue to execute the most beautiful and FLAWLESS wedding we could have ever dreamt of. Honestly, there are few words to adequately describe Grace and what she means to my husband, family, and me. We couldn't have imagined our day without her. She was a beacon of trust, strength, stability, and was always 100% in control and executing all the planning we had done. She knew how anxious I was and helped me make decisions quickly and confidently. She truly never waivered or flustered (even when we lost a bow tie). She was SO excellent, I had people coming up to me saying "wow is that your coordinator, she is ON TOP OF IT".. We are truly so grateful to Grace and the entire Clementine team.     Dana was a life saver

    I was so happy to see Dana Konya of The Clementine's email come in October about going over our December wedding. Obviously planning a wedding and adding a pandemic to the mix was nothing short or stressful, but hiring Dana was the best decision I've made.
    Throughout the process, Dana was very professional, sweet, responsive and interactive. I would discuss changes or updates with the timeline and within that day, the changes were made on my timeline. I know I wasn't the only client of hers, but she still made time for me during such a busy 2021 wedding season.

    Dana offered great referrals for hair and makeup and took care of creating a schedule for my bridal party. She also took care of a transportation crisis 2 days prior to the big day. Lastly, she was sewing dresses, tapping Flower Girl dresses minutes before my ceremony - she is truly prepared for anything that could happen and it was such a relief to have her there on my big day. I would highly recommend Dana and her services.

    Clementine - hands down best wedding planners in Chicago!

    My wedding, at The Langham went off without a single flaw because of Clementine and namely Melissa Samek. Melissa’s attention to detail, knowledge base, recommendations, and full orchestration of the day was incredible. She had every answer I needed every step of the way, and made the day of easy and flawless. Not only is she an expert at her job, she is a joy to work with and someone I would consider a friend after the year(+) of planning. It is important to choose a wedding planner that you can trust and makes you feel comfortable and calm on your big day. Melissa was nothing short of this. Truly amazing! Highly recommend for high end events and large scale weddings!

    I couldn't recommend Dana Konya more! Wedding planning was a daunting task for me and with all the covid uncertainty, I really needed help. Dana saved the day!     Best Wedding Planner

    I don’t even know where to begin with all the amazing words I have for Clementine, especially our planner Suzy. Our wedding day would not have been stress free and so smooth if it wasn’t for her! We decided to hire a wedding planner pretty last minute and had trouble finding someone we liked, however from the first initial phone call with Suzy I knew I found my planner! We booked Suzy as a day of coordinator, but started working with her two months before. She is very knowledgeable about weddings and the wedding community in Chicago, providing last minute vendor recommendations when needed. Suzy made the perfect day of timeline and used all of our suggestions, not judging when my husband wanted to eat in Chick-fil-A for lunch. Suzy was always easily accessible, both by email and by phone the week of the wedding and answered all of my questions and eased all of my concerns. She worked great with all of our vendors and made sure they all were aware of the timeline and my vision for the day. The day of our wedding, Suzy had a rehearsal for a different bride that booked before we did, meaning she would be unavailable for an hour. She and the Clementine team were so thoughtful to give us another Senior Consultant to be around for the morning while Suzy had to step away. The day of the wedding was amazing because of Suzy. She dealt with all the vendors, making sure everything was done at the right time and the way I wanted it. When we arrived to the church, we realized we forgot our money envelopes for our vendors in the hotel room. Suzy did not hesitate when asked if she could go back to the hotel to bring them. She also was a dress savior, having a white thread and needle when I had a dress emergency and spent her time helping bustle my very difficult dress!

    I honestly could go on and on with all the amazing things I have to say about Suzy, but in essence HIRE HER as your wedding planner, you will not regret it! Best wedding decision we made! Suzy helped me host the wedding of my dreams, but she also very quickly became an amazing friend!

    Dana is Amazing!! Hiring her was the best decision for our wedding!

    It was a no brainer to book Dana after our first phone conversation with her! From the very beginning of our planning once we moved forward with her, she was so organized and on top of everything. Because of COVID, we were forced to plan two weddings in two different locations as a back up. Knowing we would have Dana in our court gave us such reassurance that no matter where our wedding would take place everything would be perfect! We were able to move forward with our original plans and Dana was able to coordinate everything perfectly. Her timeline was so detailed and make it clear for all parties involved (the bride and groom, our wedding party, our families, and our vendors). She was so quick to respond to any question or detail we needed figured out and helped us to stay on task with the timely items that needed to be completed. If we ever had a hard time communicating with a vendor, she would hop right in to help facilitate the conversation with ease! When it came to our actual wedding day, she was so calm and just put everyone at ease! If anything at all went wrong, we had no idea, because she made us feel like everything was perfectly on time and great the entire day. She thought of every little thing from having back up safety pins to making sure I had access to comfortable shoes to dance in at the end of the night. She even made sure our suite was all nice and tidy to come back to after all the bridal party spent the morning getting ready in it. We seriously cannot thank Dana enough for all the hard work she put into our special day to make everything so perfect and seamless and everything we could have dreamed of! We would 100% recommend Dana and Clementine to any of our friends and family getting married in the future

    Dana from Clementine was the best!

    Deciding to use Dana from Clementine was absolutely the best decision we made about our entire wedding. She made our day completely flawless and stress free. We had a lot of vendors, wedding guests, bridal party members, and family and Dana made sure every single detail was perfect. She was responsive, prompt, and truly felt like part of our family on the wedding day! Even when our wedding party trolley got a flat tire, Dana took care of it right away and there was a new one waiting for us right away outside the church. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and knowledge of all things weddings was exactly what we needed to make our day perfect! We cannot be more thankful that she was part of our day.

    The Perfect Day Thanks to Jaci & Clementine!

    Jaci and the team from Clementine were amazing from day one. She stuck with us through it all - stress related to Covid restrictions and worries about having to change our wedding plans. She always remained positive and realistic and worked with us to think of alternative wedding plans if needed. She is personable and wanted to learn about us as a couple. Jaci is very experienced in the Chicago wedding industry and had worked with all of our vendors (some several times!) previously. It was so helpful to have her as a connection and resource when planning our wedding. The day of our wedding was absolutely stress free. Jaci handled all of the vendors and their arrivals and worked with the floral team to set up. She also set up our personal items perfectly (guest book, card box, signs, etc.) for the ceremony and reception. We highly recommend the Clementine team and Jaci!

    Dream come true thanks to Dana!

    Dana Konya was AHHHHHH-MAZING! She was unbelievably organized, prompt with responses, reliable, knowledgeable and such a sweet person! Our original wedding date was in May, but like many others we had to postpone due to Covid. As our postponed date approached we weren't sure we would be able to keep it. It was only about a month and half before the date we decide to move forward. We would have been lost without Dana. She keep track of ALL THE details leading up to the date. And the day of- oh my, she was a ROCKSTAR! She had everything organized, planned and executed before we could think it was something that needed to be done. All while having the BEST attuited and smile on her face. My husband and I are so incredibly thankful for her. It was much less stress leading up to the wedding knowing she had a handle on EVERYTHING and the day of the wedding there wasn't an ounce of stress and we were able to enjoy it 100% because of Dana.     COVID Weddings Can Be Done!

    After rescheduling our wedding (TWICE) due to Covid, we were ready to give up all together. We had a last attempt idea to throw a tented backyard wedding that would make guests feel comfortable attending. It sounds a lot easier than it is and that is where Dana Konya came in! We started worked with Dana and she turned our new dream into reality. We had 4 weeks to pull together the new plan and Dana was organized, reliable, and resilient every step of the way.     Clementine saved the day!

    We worked with Dana Konya at Clementine on the third version of our son's Covid affected wedding reception. She did a fabulous job with only a couple weeks to plan an outdoor tented backyard wedding. She was a joy to work with and a super calm, cheerful presence on their big day. I cannot recommend her more highly!

    Jaci is amazing!

    Jaci is the ABSOLUTE best. I had seen her in action and knew once we got engaged, she was the girl for me. She’s super organized, calm under pressure and just takes all your worry away on the day- so you can sit back and just enjoy! She was always there to answer questions whenever I had them via text or email. Giving last minute recommendations and referrals, etc. I have worked in events and had a vision, but Jaci truly brought it to life! She was always helpful and offered up suggestions and ideas I had not thought of. She genuinely wanted to make our day the very best for us as a couple. You can truly tell she cares about her clients and wants you to look and feel your best. I’m happy to say she’s now a friend. Would hire her again and again!

    Best decision I made! (after saying 'Yes')

    I couldn't be more grateful to Jaci Weber for all of the incredibly detailed, hard work and effort she put into my husband & my special day. My mom and I met with Jaci about a year in advance (she was recommended to us by a previous client) and immediately I knew she was the perfect fit. Jaci is incredibly detailed, organized, supportive, and proactive, on top of being the sweetest human. Over the past year, Jaci has become a true friend to me. There are so many decisions in the wedding planning process and Jaci made everything seamless and stress-free. For each vendor, whether it be photographers, florists, photobooths, DJs, etc, Jaci hand selected 3 choices that she thought shared the vision for our winter wedding that I could choose from. She took care of all of the researching, back and forth, and negotiating quotes with vendors. Her month by month wedding checklist was a God send. Each month I knew exactly what I should be working through and finalizing. With the number of items to complete in planning a wedding, it was SO nice to have Jaci keeping me organized and on track. I don't even know where to begin on her day-of wedding timeline... the minute by minute detail was incredible - all the vendors, bridal party, and family knew exactly where to be and when. She went above and beyond to make my wedding absolutely perfect and it truly was everything I'd ever hoped and dreamed it would be. Jaci is so passionate about her job, her clients, and while I know she had plenty of clients last year, she was so organized and in the details - her dedication made me feel like I was the only wedding she was planning.     Best Wedding Planner Around

    It is hard to put into words how much we appreciated the help of Jaci Weber from Clementine on our wedding day and throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was incredibly supportive and a visionary for our perfect wedding from the getco. She executed our vision of an ethereal, outdoor, fairy tale, garden wedding perfectly. She helped us brainstorm ideas and helped create a cohesive theme for our wedding. It is difficult to navigate all of the different websites, magazines, pinterest boards, opinions of family, etc. without the help of an expert in the field. Jaci was able to wean out the ideas of others and concentrate on OUR vision. She was a great listener to our ideas and was always willing to see our thoughts and concerns the whole way through the wedding planning process.
    On the day of the wedding, was when it really hit me how much Jaci was an integral part of our day. Our wedding was perfect in every way, but it definitely had it’s hiccups. Here are some of the wedding day hiccups that Jaci was able to problem solve and relieve us from having to make tough decisions about:
    Thunderstorm at an outdoor wedding venue: She made our vendor set up an indoor ceremony and outdoor ceremony just in case it cleared up last minute.
    My father didn’t know how to tie his bowtie: Jaci tied it hours before the wedding ceremony.
    My zipper on my dress broke the first moment I put it on: Jaci sewed me into it! :)
    Unfortunately, that time of the month decided to show up for me the morning of my wedding: Jaci accompanied me to the bathroom multiple times when my Bridesmaids were scattered around. I thought I would be super embarrassed from having to ask this kind of help from my wedding planner, but Jaci handled it incredibly professionally and in those moments, she also treated me like a friend.
    I am notorious for spilling drinks: Jaci purchased the cutest customized Bride tumbler from Etsy for me. I didn’t spill once on my wedding day!
    Needless to say, Jaci’s support and love during our wedding was unprecedented! We have already recommended her assistance to our friends that have gotten engaged and we will continue to do so for years to come!

    JACI WAS AN 11/10 - FARRRR Exceeded Expectations

    Jaci was an 11/10. She exceeded our expectations literally in every way and we had HIGH expectations. We got married at Fourth Presbyterian on Mich Ave and the reception was at the University Club in Chicago (235 people) Jaci is extremely detailed oriented. Her follow-up is exceptional; If she says she is going to do something, she not only does it, but goes beyond the initial request and handles the follow-up items before you even ask. The value of the services she provides far exceeds what she charges for those services. On top of all of that, she is extremely kind, cheerful and relaxed - all 3 qualities are so important come wedding day. We will be recommending her to everyone.

    Suzy was incredible

    Suzy without a doubt made the days leading up to our wedding and the day of an absolute DREAM. She is so sweet and undeniably kind. My only regret is that we weren't able to start working with her sooner! She kept things right on track, and did her magic to make sure everything worked out perfectly.     Best $$ we ever spent

    We used Clementine for day-of coordinator services, and it was easily the BEST money we spent for our wedding. Dana K. was our coordinator and she was the MVP of our wedding!!! I wasn't stressed an ounce the day of my wedding because I could tell I was in AMAZING hands. Our wedding was two weeks ago and my friends (who weren't even in the wedding party) are still talking about how much they loved Dana because she kept everything running so smoothly and perfectly. I had a specific vision for what I wanted for my wedding (and at what times I wanted certain events to happen), and Dana made sure they all happened without fail. I can't recommend Dana or Clementine enough. Thank you, Dana and everyone at Clementine!!!

    Amazing Service

    We debated on using a wedding planner....I mean....how much work could a second wedding with 65 guests be? After some discussion we elected to move forward with Clementine, but smugly (and naively) felt we could handle the day- of -coordination.

    Julissa is AMAZING. She spent time getting to know us, asked all of the right questions, then made recommendations for the perfect venue, photographer, florist, musicians, even an amazing pastor...keeping our budget in mind and giving us wonderful options. Her execution is flawless. No detail is missed. She is always one step ahead and kindly keeps you on track (very detailed timeline always in hand)!

    We eventually came to the realization that we actually couldn't handle the day-of- coordination and still have a relaxed, fun day and enjoy our guests, and asked Julissa to step in. The wedding day was like a well-oiled machine. Perfection.

    The icing on the cake is Julissa herself. She is kind, fun, caring, professional, dedicated, beautiful inside and out, and goes above and beyond. We adore her as a person and feel as though we have a new friend! Best ever.

    Flawless Service

    The best decision I made in the wedding planning process was hiring Julissa of Clementine to help with planning and day-of coordination. My husband and I had a relatively short (4 month) engagement and while we were planning a small wedding, after locking down our venues we realized we needed help in selecting other vendors and pulling together the final details of our wedding. Julissa provided us with a custom proposal that hit on the nail on the head for what we needed. She was patient, professional, extremely warm, and immediately put me at ease with her competence.
    Julissa suggested excellent vendors, giving me options for each category and providing the information to help me make the final decisions. In every conversation I had with a vendor, they told me how lucky I was to be working with Julissa. Her great relationships with everyone from the transportation company to the venue are a huge asset. She worked seamlessly with every vendor. I was too busy to be involved with every detail and Julissa attended consultations for me and seemed to innately understand which decisions I wanted to be involved in (and which ones I'd rather someone else take care of) and made it possible for me to participate remotely (without me even having to ask). Julissa was always several steps ahead of me in the planning process. She anticipated our needs and always had a solution ready if an issue arose.
    When our wedding weekend rolled around, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves, all because Julissa had executed all the moving parts flawlessly. From the small things (like making sure all our personal and family items were displayed at our reception or hunting down a cake server when we forgot to bring one) to the big things (like finding us the perfect musical entertainment), I was constantly impressed by Julissa's attention to detail and true passion for creating a beautiful event that honored our personality. I highly recommend working with Julissa and Clementine.

    Amazing experience with Julissa!

    My daughter and her fiancé were recently married this past summer. It was the fairytale wedding that my husband and I have always dreamed of giving her. The wedding took place at The Chicago Illuminating Company in Chicago, Illinois. The owner, Marta Michulka, highly recommended Clementine Custom Events and specifically, Julissa Ijaola, to assist us with coordinating the wedding. I will have to say, Julissa was an early wedding gift for our family! Her attention to detail, her willingness to hear and execute our vision and her unwavering patience with our occasional bouts of anxiety were more than we could have asked for. She made the journey of wedding planning a wonderful and exciting experience. Julissa was very conscious of staying within our budget, she made excellent referrals to specific vendors and was a lifesaver when tying up the loose ends in the last six weeks before the big day!

    Jaci from Clementine is amazing!!

    We hired Jaci from Clementine Customs events almost a full year ago. We went with the “day of” option which begins 2 months prior to the wedding. We felt this was the perfect option because we had already planned our venues and most vendors.

    We meshed the instant I met her and knew she was going to be our planner. She is absolutely wonderful. Even though it was supposed to start 2 months prior, Jaci was gracious enough to answer my questions prior to that.

    She came to our tasting and helped us decide on our food as well as asked the important questions we hadn’t thought of. She kept detailed notes on everything we ate at the tasting, our likes, dislikes, and all of our ideas so she could find a way to make it possible. When it came to the details of the reception, Jaci gave us her vendor contacts to book from which was extremely helpful.

    As time grew closer to the Big Day, she started making our timeline, reached out to vendors and made everyone aware of how and when everything was going to happen. This took a huge weight off of our shoulders as we knew she was going to handle it.

    The week of the wedding, she double checked everything, made sure we were feeling good about everything, and picked up all of our items to be used at the reception(ex. mirror sign, pictures, card holder, signing book, seat assignments,etc.) days before so we could clear that clutter from our apartment and focus on other things, like family coming into town.

    The big day finally arrived and she was on it. She was the epitome of the Yes Woman. Any question I had, it was already taken care of. I literally just had to show up. Jaci and her assistants set up our entire reception hall and event space just the way we had discussed. We had an issue with flowers and she corrected it immediately. She even checked to make sure I had eaten enough. When we got to the church she steamed my veil, while it was attached to my head, just to make it perfect. She was in contact with everyone making sure everything ran smoothly. It did.

    Time for the reception came, and throughout the evening she checked on us to make sure everything was going the way we wanted. She went above and beyond in every way. I would highly recommend Clementine Custom Events, especially the lovely Jaci.

    We had the pleasure of working with Jaci Weber in planning our Chicago wedding at the LondonHouse hotel. She was amazing to work with and helped us every step of the way! With all of her experience in the industry, she helped connect us with some of the best vendors in town and went above and beyond to help bring the vision for our wedding to life.     Melissa Samek - A+ wedding planner!

    Our wedding planner was Melissa Samek and she was an A+ wedding planner.
    First of all, Melissa, was very friendly and cheerful and extremely easy to talk with. She was knowledgeable and obviously had a network of vendors at her fingertips. Working with her became similar to simply talking with a reliable friend. All of the meetings, calls, and emails were professionally carried out with a minimum of stress. Melissa directed our rehearsal the night before the wedding because the celebrants couldn’t attend and she did an amazing job working with people she had never met. Melissa’s positive demeanor, her obvious expertise and her flair for detail make her a top-notch practitioner in her field. Also, we had a person faint at our wedding who had to be taken out by EMT and she dealt with the issue flawlessly and got the reception back on track. We would highly recommend her to anyone.

    Most magical day of our lives with a top-notch team!

    Clementine was a delight to work with. They have so much expertise, knowledge, and ties in the Chicago area (and I am sure beyond, but my wedding was in downtown Chicago, so I am speaking from my experience) that I could get recommendations and questions answered seamlessly every time. The team seems to be very close to one another, and when I needed extra help for my wedding day, Kelly even stepped in to make my wedding day hassle-free and perfect.

    As for our planner, Julissa was wonderful. She is now basically our “family” wedding planner, because it turns out that she had been the planner for my husband’s cousin two years earlier! Needless to say, she made sure we had the most special day of our lives. From finding the right vendors, understanding my specific vision for a wedding that combined elements of a Western ceremony as well as a Korean traditional ceremony, and working with me every step of the way until the big day, our wedding was magical and reflected exactly what my husband and I wanted for the day.     Clementine and Jaci were amazing!

    Jaci Weber was a lifesaver for planning our Chicago wedding! I initially thought I could do most of the planning on my own and just went to Clementine for a possible day of/month of planner. However, after my mom and I met with Jaci about a year in advance, we ended up hiring her to help us with more planning. There are so many vendors in Chicago and Jaci was so great helping me narrow in on which ones would be best. She helped me create the wedding of my dreams while still being very understanding of our budget. Jaci was great about responding immediately to many long emails with questions and ideas. My now husband says Jaci was the best money we spent on our wedding - and it's true! The day of would have been impossible without Jaci. There are so many logistics that she made sure ran seamlessly.     Suzy & Clementine were AMAZING!

    We worked with Suzy at Clementine for our wedding on 6.1.19 and we could not have asked for a better experience.     Fantastic experience!

    Hiring Clementine Custom Events for our wedding day was the best decision we could have made. We were so fortunate to get to work with Dana. She is the best, and everyone from our wedding party, the other vendors, and our guests agreed! Dana make sure that every detail was taken care of before the big day, and she was there to dissolve any small problem before it became something to worry about. Wedding planning is stressful, but Dana made it fun and she was so responsive and sweet. I felt like she had my back in making sure the day was perfect - and it was! I highly recommend!!!

    My now wife and I worked with Dana Konya at Clementine as our 'day-of' coordinator for July wedding, and it was probably the best decision we made throughout our planning process.

    From the start, Dana was far more than just a 'day-of' coordinator – she quickly took over communication with all of our vendors, ensuring schedules were coordinated, questions were answered, contracts were finalized, and a myriad of other details that my wife and I would have overlooked. She was so helpful and responsive in the last few weeks of build-up, answering countless questions and making sure that everything that we wanted was fully captured.

    Then, she ensured everything on the day of went off perfectly! From coordinating the rehearsal to arranging our first look (including making special arrangements with difficult parking attendants) to serving as point of contact for everybody involved, she was absolutely incredible. I can't count the small number of things she did and took care of. There were also several non-traditional aspects of our ceremony and reception that could have easily gone awry, but Dana ensured that they went off exactly as we hoped.

    Throughout all of this, Dana was incredibly professional, helpful, patient, and fun to work with. Our wedding went off even better than we had hoped because of her! We would absolutely hire Dana and Clementine again, and give them our strongest recommendation!!!

    Hiring Julissa Ijaola of Clementine Custom Events was the best decision my husband and I made in our entire wedding planning process (second only to the decision to marry each other, but not by much).

    We were initially planning on doing all of the wedding planning ourselves, but as we got deeper into the process, realized we could use a little extra help. I reached out to Clementine based on a rave review from a work colleague, and boy am I glad I did. From the very start, the Clementine team was prompt, professional, patient, and so kind. We were paired with Julissa (which, in case you didn't know, means "angel in human form) and after our very first phone call with her, instantly felt less stressed. She walked us through Clementine's completely customizable services and helped us build the package that was right for our needs, including figuring out transportation details and day-of coordination, among other services.

    Having Julissa with us throughout the planning was such an enormous help, but having her at the rehearsal and wedding was truly a blessing. She was constantly one step ahead, making sure everyone (from me and my husband to the bridal party to our guests to the other vendors) were where they needed to be and had exactly what they needed to make our wedding a beautiful event. She was seriously a miracle worker - she kept everyone calm and comfortable, bustled my dress, wrangled missing family members, had our favorite cocktails and snacks waiting for us when we arrived at the reception, whipped out Tums from her handy bag of tricks when I got a stomachache from eating too much wedding cake, rescued us from chatty guests, and generally made sure everything was flawless. Even my dad, a self-described "meat and potatoes kind of guy" with no idea what wedding planning entails said "Man, she's really good. I'm so glad you have her."

    Bottom line, our wedding was absolutely perfect and it's thanks to the work of Julissa and the Clementine team.

    Dana was amazing and worked with us to create the perfect wedding. It was absolutely magical thanks to Dana's hard work and attention to detail, execution, and style sense.

    As they say, the devil is in the details. And, Dana has them all covered, she'll ensure you're thinking about them to make the day come together. The two of us thought we had a lot of stuff organized and ready until we learned otherwise. With Dana's help, organization and persistence we got it all done.

    On the day of, Dana was there for everything - making sure the tables were set correctly (they looked amazing), that we didn't see each other prior to the ceremony, everyone was where they were supposed to be at the right times and that the wedding flowed perfectly. We wouldn't have enjoyed the day as much if we didn't have her there.

    In short, Clementine Events, Dana, in particular, are amazing and will make your wedding go off without a hitch. Highly recommend them.

    We tried planning everything ourselves while out of town, and quickly found it overwhelming. We decided to hire Clementine for full-service planning, and we have no regrets! Alicia was so easy to work with, and kept us on track in the nicest ways. She walked us through every step of the process. She recommended many different vendors, and even went outside of the box to accommodate our style. She understood that we were trying to save money where we could, and helped us understand what we could do without, do for ourselves, and which professionals were essential. She kept us on schedule during the planning process in the nicest way, even when we were not answering our emails in the most timely fashion. During the wedding weekend, she made sure that we were comfortable and that vendors were on track. She checked in on the entire bridal party, made sure everyone had their flowers and that there weren't any issues or questions. She made sure our handmade centerpieces were placed properly and kept us from having to worry about anything related to setting up. She made sure that everything for the ceremony and the events at the reception happened on time and flawlessly. At the end of the night, she made sure all of our personal items made it up to our room. Everything went so smoothly and we barely even noticed any of the small details while we were having fun and enjoying our wedding day. We couldn't have done it without her help and support!

    We had the pleasure of working with the beyond fabulous Loreen for day of planning for our wedding this past October. She made the process seamless and in all honestly, I would relive our wedding day a million times over because we did nothing except enjoy ourselves on our wedding day. She was always a quick email or a phone call away and was prompt in each response. She had a checklist for everything and a schedule for me to follow before she arrived for the day. She worked closely with all our vendors and took care of things that I would not even had thought of. My husband was hesitant to want to pay for a planner with the already growing wedding budget, but in hindsight, he could not have imaged the day without her there. Words cannot thank her enough for everything she did to make our day special and we would recommend both her and Clementine to anyone looking for wedding planners!!!

    Austin and I had a wonderful experience working with JULISSA!!! She was extremely organized and did't miss a beat. Planning a wedding can be super stressful but Julissa made she we didn't miss any important deadlines. She met with us on several occasions to make sure that everything was perfect. On the wedding day everything was perfect and Julissa made sure of that! We were recommended to Julissa by another vendor.. and that says a lot!!!     Julissa was the day of coordinator for our wedding, and let me tell you, I could NOT have been happier. Julissa became so much more than our wedding coordinator over the past year, she became a family friend. Never overwhelmed, always smiling, and 100% dedicated to making our dream wedding a reality. Her communication was impeccable throughout the entire process, I honestly couldn't believe she was planning any other wedding but ours. She understood our vision from the very first meeting and everything she suggested fit our theme and made our day more magical that I could have envisioned. We had met with a few wedding planners, and my favorite part about Julissa was that she was always open to ideas and found a way to include every idea we had- if it wasn't logistically possible or within the budget, she made a suggestion to still have that concept represented in some way. How she kept it all together, I have no idea. There were multiple "surprises" from us and our parents and she was able to hide these from the respective parties flawlessly. We had almost 20 different vendors, and she was able to coordinate them all and put together a thorough timeline so that everyone was on the same page and nothing was left up to chance. Not to mention that every vendor she suggested was spot on with our vision. She had a plan, a back-up plan, and a few little things that she promised to try to make happen if timing permitted- all of which she made happen. When it came time for the day, she was on top of her game the entire night. My brother tried to hide somewhere to practice his speech and she found him and gave him a 5-minute warning, someone forgot to do something, she was right on it, and at one point, she was literally sewing my mother’s dress in the bathroom because the side-seam split. Her assistants were also wonderful and together they made the impossible happen!

    I always knew I wanted a day-of wedding planner to make sure our wedding ran smoothly, but I never could have imagined that we would be so lucky to have the All-Star wedding planner, Julissa, to make our day absolutely perfect in every way!

    I had heard about Clementine Custom Events from a friend and had followed them on Instagram to get a sense of their work, so I was thrilled to find out that Julissa was available for our May 2017 wedding.

    I met with one other wedding planning company prior to my first meeting with Julissa. I knew right away that Julissa was the one I would trust with making our wedding a success! Julissa was very sweet, friendly, organized and creative. She was familiar with our church and venue, plus she asked me many questions that helped me focus and prioritize the things that needed to get done for the wedding. Julissa was also detailed oriented, which I loved not only because I am very detailed oriented, but also because I knew that all of the minute details would be covered for the wedding.

    On the day of the wedding Julissa and her assistant were busy keeping the wedding party on schedule, making sure the venue was set up as planned with all of the decorations in place, making sure the photographer, the flowers, the band and the cake arrived on time and in place for the ceremony/reception. All of our guests raved about how lovely Julissa was and how beautiful the wedding turned out!

    It wasn't only about having everything executed seamlessly, but it was the minor things that a bride doesn't necessarily think about. Julissa was there to sew the latch on the back of my dress just minutes before I needed to leave for the church and she was there to help bustle my dress the numerous times it fell out from dancing all around.

    Julissa made our wedding day one of the best memories of our lives and I highly recommend her services! Thank you so much, Julissa and the Clementine team!!

    If you want a wedding planner who cares far more about your big day going perfectly than you ever could--work with Julissa Ijaola. She is hard-working (answering emails at the craziest time at night), extremely detail oriented, has impeccable taste and, most importantly, is so kind, nice and fun to be around. She executed my wedding weekend with 300 guests perfectly. There was not one slip up. In the middle of the chaos of trying to organize our event and vendors, she still found the time to check on the myself, the groom and both parents too many times to count. She was such a blessing to our wedding, we could not have done it without her. Thank Julissa for being awesome!

    If you are looking for someone who diligently focuses on details, can build fruitful relationships, and can provide clear expectations and hold others accountable to those expectations then Julissa Ijaola from Clementine is who you want to work with! My husband and I are both very organized people, but even the most organized person would benefit from working with Julissa. She kept us on track with her detailed outlines, anticipated our questions, and provided suggestions for various parts of our special day as we worked through the planning process. More than anything she gave us peace of mind. My husband and I were able to stay present and truly enjoy the experience of planning a wedding and particularly the day of because of Julissa's leadership and execution. I should also note that our vendors came from all over (Chicago, Maryland, New York, DC), and although most of them never met until the day of the wedding, the amount of communication Julissa had with them prior to the wedding made it a seamless transition. Working with Julissa felt like we had a counselor, advocate and cheerleader all in one. I highly recommend working with her and Clementine.

    Julissa Ijaola. Warm, focused, empathetic, & pragmatic. My wife regarded her as our North Star, the light that helped guide us through all things wedding.     When I first started the wedding planning process with my husband, I very quickly felt overwhelmed by the number of vendors and nervous that I would pick a lemon or get overcharged. I’m also a super organized and detailed person, so I knew that if I didn’t hire help I’d end up spending my entire engagement stressed and unhappy. I initially reached out to about 10 potential wedding planners to get a sense of scope and pricing. Some responded instantly to my request for a quote and called me that very same day! But then when I followed-up again -- radio silence. I was discouraged to say the least, until we met Melissa at Clementine Custom Events. Melissa was EVERYTHING we were hoping to find in a wedding planner - flexible, fun and reliable. She never left us hanging if we emailed her with a question and counseled us when we weren’t sure which direction to go. Melissa helped us come up with a budget and every vendor she recommended came in at or under budget. To top it off, the vendors she suggested were just amazing -- the photographer, the officiant, the caterer and staff, music, etc. I was actually able to let go of all the details and just enjoy the engagement and the wedding day because I knew that Melissa had it all covered. On the day of the wedding, Melissa was fantastic at keeping things moving seamlessly with a smile-- including making sure family and friends were in the right place at the right time. My husband and I had a great time working with Melissa. You won’t be disappointed if you have Melissa on your side.

    Loreen is amazing! My mother initially did the research and found Clementine through another friend's recommendation, and I am SO happy she did. We hired Loreen for day of planning and for the first 9 months before the wedding I played "wedding planner" but once Loreen stepped in a month prior to our big day, man was I so wrong. I was nowhere close to being a wedding planner! Loreen thought of absolutely everything and walked us through the entire weekend - thinking through every step and providing suggestions along the way. When you only hope to get married once, everything is new and overwhelming but Loreen made the whole process enjoyable and we absolutely loved working with her.
    The day of we did end up having very minor "glitches" but Loreen's smiling face always came in to calmly tell us what was happening, what the solution was, and that she was taking care of it. I did not stress the entire wedding weekend because of Loreen. I was able to truly take in every moment with a big smile and a full heart. Loreen, and I'm sure other Clementine planners given their wonderful reputation, are worth every penny.
    Also as a side note we had several vendors who told us that Loreen was the best wedding planner they had ever worked with. Coming from vendors who do weddings all year long this completely validated our thoughts on Loreen as being amazing as well!

    Loreen from Clementine was an absolute pleasure to work with. As MOB who lives on the east coast, this was an investment worth every penny. Loreen was focused on my daughter and now son in law, ensuring that the day was what they wanted it to be. One of our fears from attending other weddings was the sometimes "dramatic" nature of wedding planners. Loreen was calm, unobtrusive, and yet got everything done perfectly. Loved her, and highly recommend her.

    We were referred to Jaci Weber by my sister's friend who has worked with her in event planning, and thank goodness she was available to work our wedding day! Jaci is organized, fun, sweet, a decision maker, a delight. Before our wedding day, Jaci went above and beyond to make sure every detail was executed and her checklists were a lifesaver.     Planning a wedding can be so stressful. That is, if you don't have JULISSA helping you every step of the way. I cannot imagine going through that process without her. Every single detail of my daughter's wedding was perfect. This did not happen by accident. JULISSA made sure that our dream wedding came out exactly as we had planned it. I know that she had other clients that she was working with while also working with us, but JULISSA made us feel as if we were her only clients. If you want the wedding to be a success, and the planning to be enjoyable instead of stressful, then you NEED JULISSA!! JULISSA went above and beyond all of our expectations!!

    I've always been an avid Trip Advisor reviewer and have yet to post a review on Yelp, but with our recent experience with Loren at Clementine Custom events I realized I needed to up my game. My daughter and son-in-law got married on Saturday at the Ivy Room. My one goal in hiring Loren was so that I could enjoy myself on the day of the wedding. Loren not only helped me achieve that goal she went above and beyond my expectations. From the moment we hired her through the entire process, Loren was responsive, informative, helpful, pleasant and kept us all sane and organized. She was calm and kept us calm, even when I couldn't figure out how to put on the veil or bustle the dress. Loren stepped right in and performed her magic. Honestly, I don't know how she does it. Everyone that interacted with Loren said the same thing. She started the weekend by directing the rehearsal on Friday night and she was still there well after midnight on Saturday after we already departed. BEST decision we made! Absolutely a gem.

    We worked with Kelly from Clementine Custom Events for our recent Chicago wedding. I was living out of the country and my husband and I were in a long distance relationship during the wedding planning stage. I interviewed a few different wedding planners and I knew that I could handle most things but wanted help the day of the wedding and for floral / decor. I was really looking for someone to be a sounding board / help reign in my many ideas for the decor side of things. Kelly put together a custom quote based on exactly what I needed and I couldn't say no. Her demeanor over the phone when talking to her was very composed and organized, I just knew that my wedding would be in good hands working with her.

    Kelly was great to work with through finding a florist and doing the floral sample at her office in Chicago. I was always limited on my availability due to living out of the country and she was able to meet me each time I was in town. We had a final meeting to go through the decor that I wanted to put together the day of the wedding (aisle decorations) as well as votives, menus, table numbers, and photo booth signs, props. We went through everything we had and were planning to pull together and she helped give us confidence in our plan and give us guidance as needed. She was there for our rehearsal to help guide everything as well as to take our many boxes of supplies so she could set up for the wedding. The day of the wedding went so so smoothly, I know it would not have been the same without Kelly. She knew where everyone and everything was, she and her assistant setup the ceremony decor and reception decor since we brought so many items. Everything came out beautifully and was packed back up after the wedding and dropped off with my aunt so she could take it home for us. Kelly knew all of the questions to ask before the wedding so that everything was handled on the day of without a hitch. Highly recommend her and her team!!

    We used Kelly for full planning services for our wedding and I cannot say enough about her and her company. Kelly is thoughtful, creative, excited, and organized. She made the process both enjoyable and easy. From the moment we walked in her office, I could tell that Kelly easily brings together a vision, as Clementine is subtly reflected throughout her office space. Kelly listened to our out-of-the-box ideas and found ways to make them work for our wedding. I felt she went above and beyond, both during the planning process and the day of. She met with the florist when we could, carried two pairs of shoes around for me on the big day, and was there to support us throughout. Kelly has clearly worked with many people in the industry and can suggest vendors based on your budget and personality. We feel lucky to have worked with Kelly and highly recommend her and her company.

    Where do I begin!!? It will be hard for me to put into words how much I love Clementine Custom Events and Julissa Ijaola but here it goes. Julissa is one of the most incredible people I've ever met. She is also the most talented person I've ever met. She will take the time to listen to you and what you have in mind for your dream wedding and then she will literally bring it to life. From the moment of your first meeting you will feel how hard she wants to work to make this your perfect day(and your fiances). She will be able to work with all the different personalities in your family and be the sweetest most professional person with each person. The most important thing to me was that I wanted to get along with my wedding planner because you will be working closely with her through the whole process and to say I enjoyed working with is an understatement, now that the wedding is over I actually miss her.     We hired Loreen as our "month of planner" for our 10/10/15 Wedding at Promontory Point. From our first meeting I had an instant connection with Loreen! She is VERY organized, detail oriented and handles every situation with a can do attitude. She also has great taste which made her an excellent person to bounce decor ideas off of. If you want a stress free wedding day (month) hire Loreen for your special day!!!

    Planning a wedding is a stressful business! As two very busy professionals, my husband and I knew we couldn't do it alone. We also happen to be two extremely picky people. I think we ended up interviewing about 8 other wedding planners before instantly clicking with Jaci at Clementine. It was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. Jaci is so friendly and super sweet, but she is certainly not a pushover. She's definitely someone you want on your side to deal with all of the vendors (and crowds when you are trying to push your way onto the Sears tower skydeck box on a busy Saturday night just to get that perfect picture!). All of my wedding party knew that Jaci was in charge - and I was pleasantly surprised when the unruly bunch actually listened to her. There were of course stressful moments (late transportation, a last minute blessing added to the schedule, etc). Jaci handled it all beautifully and kept me calm so I didn't have to worry about it. Jaci is a true professional, but also a friend that you can count on during this stage in your life. Thank you to Jaci and the team at Clementine for helping give us a beautiful day that we will never forget!

From the very start until the end, the level of communication, follow through and attention to detail was phenomenal. With all of the nerves and emotions that are involved in the planning and are present on the big day, Loreen was by my side supporting me all the way through. I knew on my wedding day everything would be handled so that I could just enjoy my wedding and not have to worry about the details of the event. Loreen is also an amazing artist and she helped us create specialized items for our wedding that added a beautiful, personal touch. Don't look anywhere else! :)

    The best money spent on our daughter's wedding was in the hiring of Clementine Custom Events. My blood pressure decreased immediately when I first walked into Kelly's tidy office to participate in a conference call with the bride who lived out of town. Kelly walked us through a list of decisions that needed to be made, offering sage advise and counsel throughout.

    I didn't see Kelly again until 45 days later when she managed to run an efficient rehearsal including plans A and B (we went with Plan B due to weather). On the day of the wedding she kept us all on schedule. I will be eternally grateful to Kelly's assistant, Anna, who got some misplaced table numbers to where they needed to be.

    These ladies were truly a class act. My husband called it insurance, I called it peace of mind. Either way, we were glad to have them on our team.

    I used Clementine as wedding coordinators for my June 20th wedding at the Chicago History Museum. Jaci Weber and Loreen Hospodar were absolutely incredible as they helped us prep and execute the wedding of our dreams! Everything went so smoothly, and my mother-in-law even commented that hiring Clementine was one of the best things we did! She was so impressed with how good they were at keeping everything running smoothly and handling all the (many, many) details.

    Clementine also handled a few last-minute crises that I never even had to know about. The day after the wedding, a guest told me that one of the altar arrangements blew over and the vase broke, which I hadn't known because Clementine and our florist, Fleur, sprang into action and fixed it right up. We also had at least one unexpected guest, who was quickly and efficiently accommodated.

    I highly recommend Clementine, especially Jaci and Loreen, for anyone planning a Chicago wedding! It's the best investment you could make in your event.

    My husband and I got married on 7/11/15 and had an INCREDIBLE experience working with Clementine Custom Events-- specifically Julissa. We had debated about getting a day-of coordinator for awhile, and as the day got closer, we decided to go for it. We met with one other coordinator outside of Clementine, but as soon as I met with Julissa it was clear she was a perfect fit for us! At the get go, Julissa was super easy to get along with and incredibly organized. Julissa attended the walk through at our event (and was able to ask all of the questions I didn't even know we should ask!), organized deliveries and vendor set-ups, and made sure everything ran smoothly. She even met me a few days before our event so that I could hand off all of our supplies! On the day of our wedding, Julissa was absolutely incredible. When our first look location (a rooftop at a local hotel) called me to tell me they could no longer accommodate our first look (30 minutes before we were scheduled to be there), Julissa worked her magic and somehow made it happen. All of our vendors (and the wedding party!) have repeatedly mentioned how great working with Julissa was, so we know we're not the only ones that loved her!

    Truly, I can't put in to words just how happy I am with our decision to utilize Clementine for their day-of coordinating skills, and I'm so thrilled that Julissa was able to help make our big day such a successful and fun event. I'm a little bit sad our wedding is over, simply because we won't be able to work with her anymore! If you're on the fence about paying for a day of coordinator, I would 100% go for it, especially if you can work with Clementine Custom Events. It was, hands down, the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process and we're so happy we had the opportunity to work with Julissa!

    We had a great experience with Melissa Samek of Clementine Custom Events. Her services were affordable and customizable to our needs, and she responded to emails with lightning speed. It was so awesome to go into our wedding week knowing that Melissa was going to handle everything. And she did. She managed a few personality conflicts with family of the wedding party with grace and professionalism, and made sure the night unfolded perfectly. I'm a type-A person with a strong "I'll do it myself" vibe. If you had told me before my wedding that I wouldn't spend a single moment of the night worrying about logistics, I would not have believed you. But that's what happened. Melissa handled everything, and I had a spectacular time. Without a doubt the best money we spent on the wedding was on hiring Clementine Custom Events.
