Rob did a great job at keeping everyone dancing the whole night. He also helped out by keeping the night flowing by announcing the speakers, dinner, and dances. Couldn't be happier with how my wedding ceremony andreception turned out!

We had a great experience with Class Act DJ - although we didn't have the opportunity to meet them beforehand as we live out of Banff, everything turned out great! They seamlessly gave us everything we had asked for in our request list - including a couple more specific requests for a choreographed 1st dance - and they totally picked up on what our guests were loving. They did a great job of kicking up the party! We are so happy we chose Class Act DJ - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Patrick Smiley did an excellent job at our wedding (July 8, 2016 at Emerald Lake Lodge)! From the initial phone call and emails, we knew we were in good hands. He coordinated with us and was very attentive in making sure the details of our wedding turned out the way we wanted it. He came well prepared and touched base with my wife and I to confirm everything and to ensure our needs were met. When it was time to rock n roll, he did everything professionally, including making announcements and of course playing excellent music based on our preferences! All the audio equipment he used worked well and certainly did the job. My wife and I are very happy with Patrick and would highly recommend him and Class Act DJ Service to anyone!

Class Act DJ services was the perfect fit for our wedding venue- courteous, attentive and had an endless supply of music choices. During the ceremony Patrick did an excellent job with the music and microphones and later supplied the perfect mix for our family and friends to dance the night away. I would certainly call on Class Act DJ for any of our future events and highly recommend them.

Class Act is right! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Patrick Smiley to the lead up to our wedding in Banff on July 31, 2015 at Banff Park Lodge. Patrick was very easy to work and communicate with. He answered all of my questions quickly and helped me out with suggestions on what type of service he could provide. He helped with saving me on extra costs by letting me know what he usually brings to the venue and what I really didn’t need. Patrick was also very flexible as I didn’t get a slideshow to him with our pictures until the night before the reception. I also changed my mind numerous times as to how I wanted it displayed and he was very patient and made helpful suggestions. Everyone loved the slideshow and appreciated we included pictures of our each of our guests. We originally had the DJ scheduled until 11pm but as the dancing went on so did the DJ until we were done. We were really happy that he kept the party going. I also made no suggestions on music aside from what I didn’t want and the DJ was easily able to gauge the crowd and get everyone going on the dance floor. Very pleased with our choice to hire ClassAct for our ceremony/reception music. Patrick was helpful in the organization of everything leading up to the day. For the actual event we had Rob Lavery, and he absolutely nailed it. He took the time to get a feel of the crowd and played a vast variety of really great music to keep people up dancing – and all generations of guests kept the dance floor full until the end of the night! The East Coast music hit the hearts of our guests!! We had so many compliments afterwards!! Thank you Rob and Patrick for making our wedding such a fun time for us and our guests.

I can not say enough good things about Patrick from Class Act DJ. He was extremely professional and always got back to me within a day. My now husband and I had no idea what kind of music we wanted and did not know what we needed music for and Patrick walked us through everything. My husband was supposed to do the slide show, however with a week until the wedding he had not done it. I spoke with Patrick and he was more then happy to have it done. Every one continuously commented on how great the slide show was and how much fun they had with the music. We had a lot of requests throughout the night and Patrick was sure to play all of them. Patrick was so helpful every step of the way. He was very accommodating to whatever worked best for us and our time line. He quickly got a feel for our group and their music preferences and everyone had a blast. Prices were very reasonable and the quality of his service was outstanding. We could not have been happier with Patrick and the job he did as DJ. The day of the wedding he coordinated with all those involved to ensure that he was aligned with everyone, and wasn't playing music during the ceremony at the wrong time. We are both fantasy/sci-fi geeks and had asked Patrick if he was able to, to incorporate songs from some of our favourite movies and tv shows. He did an AMAZING job, he found everything we asked for, and incorporated the songs in such a way that they didn't feel out of place at all. The music was always at a perfect volume, and the balance of fast and slow songs, as well as music for younger and older guests was perfectly balanced so everyone was able to have fun and enjoy. We received countless compliments on the job he did, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a dj!

Class Act DJ service made it really easy for us to decide to use them for our big. All of my emails were responded to very quickly and I got the answers that I needed right away. We were able to make all of our selection online at our leisure and a final touchable call happened prior to the big day just to ensure all of the details were correct. Class Act also provided a custom gobo for our reception as well as uplighting. The room looked awesome and fit our vision exactly. Thank you to both Rob and Patrick for their services!

We had Patrick Smiley as our DJ and he was wonderful. He was very accommodating to play any music requested and he sure knew how to keep the dance floor packed...... people who never dance, strutted their stuff that night. I would highly recommend using Patrick for you event.

Rob our dj was awesome and super easy to deal with. The music choices were spot on and the dance floor was full the whole night. The next day people were saying it was the funnest wedding they had ever been to, a large part due to the dj. All of our special requests were addressed and we highly recommend class act for any special event.

Rob our dj was awesome and super easy to deal with. The music choices were spot on and the dance floor was full the whole night. The next day people were saying it was the funnest wedding they had ever been to, a large part due to the dj. All of our special requests were addressed and we highly recommend class act for any special event.
