Claire is amazing!

We cannot say enough great things about Claire! From the moment we spoke with her we felt very comfortable and knew she would be easy to work with. Claire took her time getting to know us and asked thoughtful questions about our relationship to create a personalized ceremony that truly reflected us a couple. Throughout the ceremony Claire was a calming and reassuring presence while helping us stay completely focused on each other. She told the story of our first date among other details we shared with her and struck the perfect balance of humor and emotion, weaving together a ceremony that was both touching and memorable. We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Claire and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant who will create a beautiful and meaningful ceremony!

Amazing intimate elopement, thank you Claire!!

We had the pleasure of having Claire as our JP for our intimate elopement that took place outside her home. We wanted something easy, simple but meaningful and we accomplished this with the help of Claire. She was so friendly, professional, and wrote up the most beautiful vows for us. Simply the best

Claire was an absolute savior for us when our original plans to elope to Italy were cancelled due to the pandemic. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and just genuine love for what she does made our day WONDERFUL. Eloping to Boston Public Garden wasn't an easy choice, but Claire made it so incredibly special. Looking back now, we are both so glad our wedding ended up this way. We are forever thankful to Claire and the wonderful ceremony she gave us.

Can't Thank Claire Enough!!!

I would definitely recommend Claire for your ceremony !!! She is so organized and really guided us through the entire process of putting together our ceremony. She provides so many resources, readings etc. She opened up her home (home office) to meet with us and was flexible, meeting on a Sunday morning, she even emailed me when she was on her family vacation! The ceremony was exactly hat we wanted even through we had no idea what we wanted! Not to mention she is so calm and collected she really brought such an amazing energy to the ceremony.

Everything I ever wanted

Claire was everything I hoped for in an officiant. She really got to know us and presented such a fun and heartfelt officiating. She created such a beautiful atmosphere and was just amazing. Love her to pieces.

Amazing Ceremony!

Working with Claire was one of the highlights of our wedding. She is truly a wonderful person and really takes the time to get to know you as a couple. Claire provided a questionnaire for my husband and I to fill out to be used in the ceremony; we decided to keep it a secret and hear it for the first time at the wedding. We absolutely loved what Claire created and we are still receiving compliments about our ceremony and how personal it was. We cannot thank Claire enough!

Claire is the best!

My husband and I instantly knew we wanted Claire to officiate our wedding as soon as we met her. Our guests all assumed she was an old friend or a family member because of her warm, personalized style. She's highly organized and professional, but also really fun and awesome. I would highly recommend hiring Claire to make your day extra special!

Claire gave us the most amazing wedding gift of all--a unique, heartfelt ceremony that we will remember forever. She told our story so beautifully that many of our guests asked if she was a family member or long-time friend. Claire was a dream to work with; she provided us with many resources as we planned our ceremony, and was happy to answer any questions. Claire has a beautiful personality and did and amazing job officiating our winter wedding. I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a justice of the peace. Our wedding package included an officiant and we chose to find our own instead. BEST DECISION!

We wish we could give Claire more than 5 stars. She was absolutely amazing and made our wedding perfect. After looking at countless of reviews of JPs, we found Claire and are SO happy we did. She walked us through the entire process and was so patient. She did everything from help us explore readings to explain how to file for a marriage license. We had 175 guests at the wedding and every single person commented on how amazing Claire and the ceremony was. Many people asked if she was a friend of ours. She took time to get to know us and to ensure our personalities were reflected in the ceremony. She made the planning process so simple. She definitely has a gift. THANK YOU, CLAIRE!!

I can't say enough good things about Claire. She took the time to get to know us as individuals and flawlessly told our story during the ceremony. Our guests thought she was a longtime friend of ours! She's so sweet and considerate, everyone loved how she conducted the ceremony. I was so nervous that I dropped the ring mid ceremony! Claire was so professional and sweet, she quickly recovered the situation and everyone laughed. She is amazing!

Claire was so great to work with and wrote us a beautiful ceremony! We could not be happier with our ceremony and working with Claire on creating it was a really great experience. We received many compliments from our wedding guests about how much they enjoyed the ceremony. Claire is so down-to-earth and fun to work with. She knows all of the ins and outs of her work. Never being married before, we had no idea what we were looking for, but the minute I saw her website, it explained everything anyone would need to know about officiant services. People commented at our wedding how great she was and thought we had known her before the wedding, since we were so comfortable with her.

Where do I begin??? First off, Claire is the warmest, and most welcoming person we have ever met. Upon emailing her, she greeted me with words, which were so warm it was as if I had already met her in person. We had to change our date and i was nervous about telling her, but when I did, she was fine with it and open to any date convenient to us. She offered up her beautiful home to us to host our ceremony because our budget was TIGHT! We did it on her porch and it was perfect! She is PERFECT!!! I am so so so so happy I found her profile! Thank you so much Claire for making our day so special!!!!!!

Claire did an absolutely wonderful job writing our ceremony and officiating our wedding. We wanted a completely secular ceremony, but one that had traditional elements while still feeling personal. She provided tons of examples and resources to help us create the ceremony, from readings to vows to symbolic actions. The ceremony Claire put together was perfect and we got dozens of compliments on how well it fit us as a couple. Claire was great to work with and made the process very clear and easy. She truly takes the time to get to know you as a couple and create something special.

It has been a little over a month since our wedding and our guests are still commenting on how amazing the ceremony was! Claire did an amazing job customizing the ceremony to match our personalities. I'm not sure exactly what site I found Claire's info on, but I am SO glad that we did! Claire's services where very reasonably priced. She made herself available to us throughout our year long engagement and was always prompt, prepared, and professional. We are a non-religious couple and Claire created a ceremony that really captured our story and our personalities SO well!! We used her custom ceremony service and it was amazing! All of our wedding guests raved about how original and "us" the ceremony was! It was a huge hit! I would (and will) highly recommend Claire Miller to anyone looking for a justice of the peace. She was a pleasure to work with and she truly made our special day that much more memorable!

I found Claire on Weddingwire, read her reviews and was immediately drawn to her. Check out her website, she is exactly as she portrays herself. She is so easy to talk to, and loves what she does. We knew at our first meeting we had found our JP! We opted for the custom ceremony. Claire sent us questionnaires to work on months before the ceremony so that she could gather enough information to put our love story into words and read during our ceremony. It was perfect! All our guests loved that and commented on how great she was and how they had never seen a more beautiful ceremony. Claire also offered multiple variations of readings, vows, ring exchanges, etc to help us pick out a perfect ceremony for us that would flow flawlessly. It was a success!! We wrote our own vows and Claire came prepared with them printed for us, just incase we forgot them! Claire was always available to answer any and all of our questions as our big day came close. She was like a good friend guiding you along, and when I saw her just before the ceremony and she greeted me with a big hug I knew I had nothing to worry about, all my nerves went away and I was confident we were in good hands ... And we were! :)
Afterwards she left a beautiful packet of the entire ceremony in print. What a great gift to be able to go back and read our ceremony, we will treasure that always!

Claire officiated our wedding last September and we could not be more thankful that we found her to be apart of our special day! She was amazing and we loved having her as our JP. She was so kind and the ceremony she came up with was beautiful. We opted to have her write our story into our vows by sending her surveys about our relationship. What she came up with was awesome and fit us so well. She was very responsive and always had an answer to our questions. She is very down to earth and pretty much fits right into your wedding any way you like. Says what you want, wears what you want (she wore a lovely black and purple summer dress to ours) and is there for you every step of the way. I had a lot of people come to me and ask where I found her because they loved her.

Claire was more than we could have ever imagined a justice of the peace to be. She worked so well with us, and it was like she knew us for years. She helped and guided us every step of the way with items we would have missed without her help. To this day, many of our guests comment on how wonderful claire was during the ceremony, and how her personality made the ceremony unforgettable! I met Claire in October 2013 when we worked a wedding together. From our first correspondence, I knew she was a special person. Then, when I met her, it just clicked: She would need to be the officiant when my fiance and I finally decided to make it legal. As a wedding professional, I am not the kind of person to want anything big for myself - I spend my life making other people's dreams come true (and love doing it), but that's not me. One day in March, my fiance and I were having brunch with the couple whose wedding had brought Claire and me together, and it all just fell into place. I emailed Claire that day: "Hey, our anniversary is coming up - any chance you're available to marry us in 11 days?" She was. Her enthusiastic reply was the best: "I've been hoping to hear from you!" She sent vow ideas, which we used to cobble together our own very special vows, and made me feel as if our little ceremony in her office was going to be the highlight of her year. I was a wreck from the get-go, and Claire didn't miss a beat, pausing at just the right moment for a Kleenex break. Her words, gathered from a few emails, perfectly encapsulated our 9 years together. When we finally got to the end, she announced that we were "wicked married," hugged us both, and presented us with a certificate she had printed, as well as a printout of the entire ceremony. I was so emotional throughout it that I hadn't even noticed that she referred to us by our pet names for each other. I cannot recommend Claire highly enough. She gave us exactly the kind of wedding that we wanted, and we will never forget it. (But don't even think about asking her dog, Bear, to be your ring bearer/witness; his career began and ended with us when he refused to attend the ceremony. :) )

I wish I could give Claire more than five stars. She made the wedding. From the moment we met her she had us at ease. Claire helped us with every aspect of our ceremony and was a calming force for a very nervous bride. After the ceremony all of my guests were raving about Claire and the ceremony she wrote. After our wedding ceremony everyone asked "Where did you find her?!?". Claire left a lasting impression on us all - and I feel honored that she told our love story.

As others noted, we stumbled upon Claire while searching online for JPs. Her website was clear, modern and gave a great sense of who Claire was. When we reached out to her she was responsive and offered to meet us or Skype with us at our convenience. We went on to meet with her at her beautiful home in Grafton and knew without a doubt that we have found our officiant. We opted for a custom wedding ceremony and I cannot get over how beautifully she shared the story of our love. I am still in awe of the gift she has. We have received more compliments regarding our ceremony and our officiant than any other part of the wedding. I simply cannot say enough about how amazing Claire is - your wedding wont be the same without her.

I stumbled upon Claire's website when beginning my search for a JP to officiate at our wedding, and I am so glad I did! After our initial meeting on Facetime (super convenient), I wouldn't have dreamed of working with anyone else. Claire was so genuinely sweet and was truly interested in getting to know my fiance and I and our story. We chose to do the custom ceremony, and Claire provided us with these wonderful questionnaires that enabled us to relive how we met and how the magic started. She provided us with a number of resources for ideas for our vows, possible readings, symbolic gestures, and much more! She went above in beyond in making sure to represent our relationship in the ceremony, and even reached out to one of my fiance's best friends to get more information and stories to incorporate. She made us laugh and cry on the big day, and all of our guests commented on how lovely she was and what a wonderful job she did. My maid of honor already told Claire that she wants to work with her on her wedding, and she's not even engaged yet! Claire was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a JP for their wedding!

I found Claire on wedding wire and after reading all her amazing reviews I knew she would be perfect and set up our initial meeting. Claire was so easy to work with and made the process such a breeze. We chose the custom ceremony and I could not be more happy. She did an amazing job capturing who we were as individuals as well as a couple. The ceremony was the perfect combination of funny and emotional. We received so many compliments about how amazing she did and how perfect the ceremony was. I think we received more compliments about the ceremony then the open bar LOL! We appreciate everything Claire did, and I would highly recommond her to any future brides...you and your guests won't be disappointed!

I CAN'T SAY MORE THAN CLAIRE WAS A DREAM TO HAVE APART OF OUR DAY. She made the process smooth, easy and a very fun adventure to really customize our dream ceremony. She was so flexible and attentive. She was such a help, even tho I knew exactly what I envisioned for our day, she made the picture so vivid. It really came to life standing next to my husband... I LOVED OUR STORY BY THE WAY! I would say if you want a personalized ceremony that takes peoples breath away CLAIRE will do that!

Oh Claire!!! She made our day so incredibly special. From the first moment we met her to the day of the event, she has been such an amazing asset and resource. Her ceremony was so personal and so us! Our friends even asked, "Did you tell her your life story?" Amazing that she created such an amazing story to tell from a few questions we answered on a questionnaire. Beautiful, touching, personal, funny, are only a few words that can describe our experience. She is awesome!

I can’t say enough good things about Claire! I had a friend who had just been married suggest her, and inquiring with her was the best decision we made! We had guests raving about her the entire wedding night and asking for her contact info for future weddings! She has a wide variety of ceremony selections to choose from and is more than willing to work with couples to create the perfect ceremony for them. She was helpful with her references & very responsive with any questions or concerns we had. Our wedding was perfectly intimate as it was traditional. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding ceremony!! Highly Recommended!!!!!

We loved having Claire as our JoP. She was very quick to respond and easy to work with. When we had a request dealing with the rings, Claire was very quick to work it into our ceremony and it was great. She is a wonderful person to work with and is highly recommended by us!

My husband and I were married by Claire Miller a little over 1 month ago, and we are so incredibly happy to have been married by her. She is an amazing person, and very talented. Over the course of about 8 months, we got to know Claire through e-mail and facetime meetings. She is the most down to earth and sweet person, with a true passion for what she does. It was so easy to relate to her and we felt as though she really got to know us as a couple. She was very sensitive to our unique situation and needs as a couple. She performed a non-religious ceremony for us, and the story she shared about us was something we will never forget. So special. Guests are still talking about our incredible officiant and we feel like she gave us something really unique that we can cherish. I highly recommend Claire. She is a lovely person and knowing her is a real honor.

Claire is an amazing person with such a warm personality and such a professional and friendly JP! She has made our small an intimate wedding ceremony exactly how we had envisioned and more. Our friends at our wedding were wondering if Claire was a close friend of ours (that's how personable she was with us) because she spoke of our relationship and love for each other in a way that only a close friend would understand, and we truly appreciated it! It was such an amazing ceremony with the way she presented our life stories (without being boring/dull) and how we met, fell in love, and getting married. Just thinking back to our wedding makes me cry a little.

We met once at a Starbucks and we spoke of the finer details. Claire was very patient with us as we try to figure out what we want for the ceremony. She also gave us a ton of great ideas for us to think about. At first, we were a bit lost in how we wanted our ceremony, but after reading through the information she gave us, we were able to make a better decision. After the initial meeting we communicated via email and face time (as we got closer to the wedding date) so she can finalize her stories and provide us with the PERFECT CEREMONY! And, on our wedding day, she arrived really early to speak to the function manager and to prepare. We loved her punctuality, professionalism, charisma, and her friendliness!!!!! =)

We have no regrets using her services for our wedding. And we will (and have) definitely recommend her for any of our friends, family, or anyone we know that will be getting married and needs a JP.

We can't thank her enough for her AMAZING services!

Claire was the officiant in our wedding on May 11th and we cannot say enough good things about her. She is so warm and was an absolute pleasure to work with, and made our ceremony so special and personalized. All of our guests raved about how lovely and personalized the ceremony was, and couldn't believe we hadn't known Claire for years. There were only two vendors we hired that we had absolutely no doubts about from day one, and Claire was one of them. From our very first meeting it was clear that she understood what we wanted from our non-traditional wedding and she was willing to make it happen.
First I have to say that the way Claire communicates is one of the main things that sold us on her. We interviewed three officiants including Claire. One seemed really grumpy on the phone, the other told us she’d snail-mail us some papers as she didn’t have a website (what??) and Claire just hopped on Skype to “meet” us. We married out of state so this was a huge deal for us.
Claire was friendly and sweet from day one. We were comfortable with her and felt able to tell her all about us so the wedding would be about us too. She was able to sort through our weird ramblings to come up with some sweet words to say that really spoke to us. I also gave her a pile of readings and quotes I liked and told her to work in whatever she thought was appropriate, and she did. She also looked over our vows for us (she probably could have warned me that my husband’s were so much better than mine, but I forgive her).
She didn’t flinch (at least I didn’t see it) when my husband surprised us both by carrying a T-Rex with him down the aisle and placing him at her feet for the ceremony. With our gifts we left us a lovely printed version of our ceremony. Best of all, she emailed us a few days before the wedding to ask if she could use the word “nerdbomber” in our vows since we use that word regarding each other a lot. It really showed us how well she listened and how she was willing to make the wedding about US, not about what other people thing weddings should be. She is the best offbeat vendor and we kind of want to be best friends with her.
I’m so impressed by the amount of work she put into making our wedding unique to us. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house and several guests came to tell us how wonderful Claire was.

Claire was such a joy to work with! She really took the time to get to know us (through in person meetings, emails and a questionnaire) and crafted an amazing personalized ceremony. She is very organized, easy to work with and a great communicator. She was very helpful throughout all the steps of the planning process and provided lots of great resources for readings, vows, and different ways to make your ceremony unique. Of all the vendors that we chose for our wedding day, Claire was by far and away our favorite. From the first time we met her she went out of her way to get to know us, understand our relationship, and design us the exact ceremony we were looking for. We specifically wanted to have someone fun, light hearted, and with subtle religious undertones. She gave us great suggestions, went over the whole process in thorough detail, and confirmed everything with us multiple times so there would be no major surprises. Come our wedding day, we couldn’t have been happier. Through the entire reception and to this day, we continue to get compliments about how lovely and personal our ceremony was. As we were going through our gifts, so even left us nice bundled up copy of the entire ceremony that we could keep and remember. I couldn’t imagine hiring anyone else, and I would recommend Claire to anyone regardless of the type of ceremony.

My husband Chris and I could not have picked a better JP to lead our wedding ceremony! From the day we met Claire up until the wedding (and even after the wedding) she has been so great to work with. Claire is exactly what we were looking for in a JP - friendly, responsive, organized and extremely informative! She wanted our ceremony to be "our" ceremony, so she asked that we fill out questionnaires about eachother and our realtionship. From that, she created an amazing story that she incorporated in the ceremony and it couldn't have been said any better! During our reception, guests were asking Chris and I if Claire was a good friend or family member because the story she told made it seem like she's known us forever! Claire was so wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her to be your JP!

Claire Miller was instrumental in making our wedding day perfect. We knew from the start that she was the JP for us. Claire has a way about her that is so warm and welcoming. She really put us at ease! We loved how she took the time to get to know our "story" and really seemed to care about us as individuals. It's easy to see how much Claire was meant to be a JP - not only by how perfectly she crafted our ceremony - but also, by how all of our guests reacted to her service. They just loved her!!! Claire is incredible! Originally my wife and I were going to go with another JP, but we are so glad it did not work out and we found Claire. She made us feel so comfortable and gave us tons of guidance. We got to choose our own wedding vows, ring exchanges, and poem verses. Plus she also has great advice on ways to incorporate our family. Our ceremony turned out great and Claire helped to make it special.

Sean and I could not have pictured a more perfect, sweet, and touching ceremony. We met Claire and instantly knew that she was the one we wanted. She is absolutely lovely. Claire immediately made us feel comfortable and for the first time we were beginning to feel excited about crafting our ceremony rather than overwhelmed. She shared so many wonderful resources and ideas and really got to know us, which was evident in our ceremony. We incorporated a wine box/love letter event in our ceremony, which hit the perfect note for us since we love wine tasting! After filling our personal questionnaires about each other we were able to meet with Claire to review everything one more time! (we had also been emailing back and forth too!) We opted to have Claire review just the outline of the ceremony, so that way there would be some little surprises for us to hear the day of. Wow - the day of we could not have been happier. The ceremony, the story she told of our love, and her beautiful speaking style made our day even better than we could have hoped for. Claire definitely has a way of learning about you and is able to weave everything together so seamlessly. You will most definitely love working with her.

We both felt totally comfortable and confident having Claire lead the ceremony! We've received many compliments from both the Publick House staff, DJ, and family/friends about the ceremony and specifically about Claire!!! She made our day absolute perfection! I highly recommend Claire as a professional, personable, sweet, kind, creative, and knowledgeable JP that will far exceed your expectations and make your day just as memorable as ours.

From the first email we received back from Claire, we knew she was the one for us... when we met, it was love at first sight! She made us feel at ease from the first hello and was so much fun to be around. Her patience, creativity, wealth of knowledge and professionalism is profound. From countless emails and multiple meetings, we never felt as though we were an annoyance and she always responded quickly but not only with every answer, she included suggestions, helpful hints and always took the time to ask how we were doing on a personal level. We never worried about anything because we knew Claire was beyond competent. Our ceremony was PERFECT, everyone said it was the most intimate they had ever been a part of. She provided the perfect combination of love and humor which was exactly what we had hoped for. Claire was FANTASTIC!!!!! My wife and I decided to drive from Florida to Boston to get married. I found Claire here on the Knot and decided to take a chance, and I am soooo glad that I did. She recommended the perfect place for us to have our ceremony and even though it rained, I couldn't have picked a more perfect location. Claire was genuinely enthusiastic and professional. We used Claire Miller as our Justice of the Peace. For all of the stress of planning a multi-faith wedding, Claire was great at working around our needs, and we never had to worry about her role. Claire is wonderfully warm and accommodating. She is genuinely happy and excited to join people together. She provided the extra service of mailing our wedding license to city hall by registered mail so we could track it for a quick turn-around. If you choose to have your ceremony there, her home is located in the hills of Grafton with a gorgeous view. I wholeheartedly recommend Claire as an officiant, and would use her again (but I hope I'll never have to!).
