    I was a little on the fence about spending the $$ on a ‘day of coordinator’ but boy am I glad I did, and even more glad I hired Jamie to do it!! Even though I wasn’t her highest paying customer and only purchased her day of package, she was ALWAYS there when I had a question or needed help with anything! She would sent me monthly reminder emails of things I should be getting done that month and those were extremely helpful. The day of the wedding though, she was AMAZING. Her and her husband really kept everything on point all day. I did not have to worry about a single thing and it was so nice! To top it off, at the end of the night, they had all the decorations put in the barn for me, and all the tables and chairs were broken down before they left. If anyone else is thinking about hiring a coordinator, I would HIGHLY recommend Jamie!!

    I have known Jamie for many years now, so when I got engaged, I called her immediately! I had day-of coordination but she regularly checked in throughout my 12 month engagement, making sure I felt supported throughout the planning process. The day-of, she truly made my vision come to life, and her calm demeanor let our families truly enjoy themselves. She was even right there when my bustle broke, helping me fix it so that I could get back to the dancing! I can't imagine our wedding without her and her team and I couldn't be more grateful for her work!

    Jaime and her team were incredibly useful! We used CJN as sort of a "month of" coordinator, and it was well worth every penny. Every little detail came together better than we could have ever imagined. She went above and beyond doing everything that was asked of her - she even put my cake together and decorated it (and did an amazing job). I felt completely at ease during the entire wedding because I was able to fully trust that Jaime would take care of all the details. If you want a stress-free wedding, I sincerely recommend CJN Event Planning!

    We used Jamie and her team at CJN for day-of wedding coordination for our Central Coast wedding, which we planned from NYC. Our wedding day was stress free, beautiful and everything we hoped it would be! Jamie was beyond helpful as we planned our big day from across the country--from advice on vendors, check in's to make sure planning was going smoothly, to seamless execution of all the little details we had planned out on the wedding day, Jamie and her husband Chris at Cork Mobile made sure everything went off without a glitch. We would highly recommend Jamie and CJN for wedding planning and day of coordination on the Central Coast, she is super easy to work with, responsive and calmly helps to make your wedding day perfection!

    Hiring Jamie Neutill as our wedding coordinator was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. Being an out-of-town bride, I wanted to work with a professional in the Central Coast who was familiar with the area and had experience with the local vendors. Jamie was mindful of our budget and made great recommendations on which vendors to work. She even handled all the scheduling and made appointments on our behalf when we visited from out of town. Communication with Jamie was very easy; I was able to call, text or email her and she was always responsive to all our questions and ideas. We definitely felt we were in good hands having her as our coordinator!

    Come wedding day, Jamie was calm, organized, and very much on top of things. She was in communication with us, our family members, and all vendors and made sure everything was moving along according to schedule. Due to cold temps in the evening, my husband and I made a last minute decision to move the dancing inside the venue and Jamie was quick on her feet to move the DJ, lighting and dance floor indoors without a hitch! We truly appreciated her flexibility and quick thinking in this situation. Even some of our family members who met Jamie were impressed with her professionalism.

    Our wedding at Spanish Oaks Ranch was perfect and seamlessly executed by Jamie and her staff. Thank you Jamie for all of your hard work! You made our wedding planning process easy and stress-free and you made our wedding day unforgettable!

    Jaime was our day-of coordinator, but her suggestions throughout the whole planning process pointed us in the direction of outstanding vendors and a perfect wedding/reception. She is an absolute professional, and dealt with our unfortunate procrastination issues without any trouble. Her experience showed in all of our interactions, and she understood when we needed some help with the planning. E.g. our shuttle buses. Almost all of our guests were from out of town. When she recognized our original plan for transporting guests to the wedding was burdensome, she quickly took it upon herself to contact the shuttle company and fix the issue. Within 2 days we were much better off, and all we had to do was send a few emails. This is how she treated everything, including the day-of coordination, decorations, family overexcitement, and vendor coordination. Throughout it all, she kept a cool demeanor that made us both feel relaxed. We highly recommend Jaime, and wish her all the best with CJN.

    Jamie provided day-of-coordination services for our recent wedding at Santa Margarita Ranch. We could not be happier with the quality of service, responsiveness, and professionalism of her and her team. We brought Jamie on once our wedding was pretty much already planned and wondered if a day-of-coordinator would really be worth the money since we had such a tight budget. Boy, were we pleased with the outcome!! From the moment she started with us, we just knew we made the right decision. When we met up with her at the venue the first time, she offered all kinds of questions and details that we would have no way of thinking about. Same with the rehearsal. Every question, issue, and anxiety we had was addressed promptly and calmly from start to finish. Her energy is so even-keeled, calm, and confident that you just immediately feel like things will be taken care of if anything goes awry, and when they inevitably did for one reason or another, Jamie was there to sort it out.

    A few examples of her work: Rain was suddenly being forecasted, and we retooled the entire ceremony in the final days to make it work perfectly. A bridesmaid's dress burst open in the back, and Jamie came right over with the sewing kit so we could fix it while we were getting ready. Our photographer went MIA and became totally incommunicado a few weeks before the wedding. We weren't even sure the photographer was going to show up, and Jamie chased her down to take care of it and put our minds at ease. When the men's boutonnieres were looking wilted and the ribbons we used were fraying, Jamie took the time to fix them so that everyone looked their best. There were so many things behind the scenes that she did to make our wedding flow and allow us to enjoy our day.

    Hiring CJN Event Planning was the best decision we made throughout this process. Highly recommend!!

    After interviewing several wedding planners, we moved forward with Jamie at CJN and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. We got married last July 4th at Santa Margarita Ranch in the Central Coast with a guest list of around 160. We were very pleased with Jamie’s knowledge of the area and local vendors, especially as we live in Los Angeles. She was always extremely professional and very prompt to respond to all of our inquiries. Jamie assisted with us from the beginning of our planning process and was more than happy to discuss every detail of wedding (which there were more than we could have imagined). Our wedding day went very smoothly, which was amazing because we just sat back and enjoyed the day. We would certainly recommend Jamie to anyone planning a wedding in the Central Coast.

    If you're looking for a no stress wedding day, I'd go with CJN! Jamie was beyond helpful in gathering a lot of our DIY decorations and making the day come together seamlessly. From making sure that everyone in our bridal party was taken care of to making sure the guests and events were moving along on time - she's a true PRO!

    I honestly don't know how we could have pulled off our 2-day wedding at Broken Earth Winery in Paso Robles without the help of Jamie and Chris!!! My husband is Indian and I'm Mexican/American so needless to say we had a huge wedding filled with LOTS of people, ~300 guests. Jamie was there every step of the way making sure we didn't miss any vital details. She gave us monthly checklists that kept us on track and was always easy to reach by email, text or gchat. There were so many different elements to our wedding weekend, from the specifics of the Hindu wedding ceremony, the rental orders, the contracts for the vendors, etc. and Jamie kept track of every detail of them the entire time!

    She also perfectly matched wedding vendors to us, which made the entire event so fun and so "us"!!! She arranged in-person and phone meetings with our vendors whenever we felt we needed them. All of our guests raved about her and her team during and after the receptions! We didn't feel a drop of stress during the whole weekend cause we knew her team would be able to handle anything! We would definitely recommend their services to anyone, small or large wedding!!!!

    Working with CJN Event Planners was easy and resulted in a fantastic wedding day. They worked with my budget to tailor their services and price to what would work personally for us, promptly answered emails, had great ideas and suggestions, and their on-site day of planner (Chris, for us) was wonderful. I did not have to worry about a thing that day, as he was on top of it all, flexible, and just knew what all had to be done. Thank you again!

    I see now why people always say that having a good wedding coordinator (definitely CJN) is so important. They are the first suggestion I make to friends who are in the wedding planning process. CJN made set-up, the day of, and tear-down run so smoothly. I loved that throughout the planning process, Jamie would send me monthly emails with updates on how things were going a list of items to help me prioritize my planning time. The best part about CJN is that they are so trustworthy that neither my parents nor I had to worry or even think twice about anything during the wedding or reception, except for enjoying every moment of the day. On our wedding day, the toasts went a bit longer than expected, which threw off our planned schedule...Jamie snuck over to me at a good moment to ask permission to change things around, and it made everything run so much smoother. There were simple details that we didn't even discuss such as moving heaters to the dance floor or making sure the car was ready to go with our luggage in it, etc. that were taken care of without me even knowing. I know there were many more things behind the scenes that made the event so perfect. I could go on and on, but the last thing to note is that I can honestly say that the most consistent comment I get from my guests regarding the wedding is, "Your wedding was the smoothest wedding I have ever been to. It was beautiful and everything was just so perfect." Thanks Chris and Jamie!

    Jamie is the best. She made wedding planning much easier and was a great help with coordination. She was always available via phone or e-mail for any of my questions or concerns. I could not imagine planning a wedding without her. She made great recommendations for vendors and had a great relationship with them. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding because she had everything under control.

    From the minute I began my wedding planning, Jamie from CJN Event Planning was there to help me with any questions that I had. Throughout my entire wedding planning process, she answered emails in a timely manner, and kept me on track with my monthly wedding checklists. On the day of our wedding, Jamie was there to help out with anything that needed tending to. She kept us on schedule for our wedding day, so that we could get to the dance floor as fast as we could (my one request was I wanted a packed dance floor throughout the night!) I would recommend Jamie to anyone that is just starting out with their wedding planning, or to someone that's just thinking about a day of coordinator. I did not realize how crucial it is to have someone like Jamie there for your wedding day. Trust me, you do not want to do this all by yourself! Thanks, Jamie!

    I had the pleasure of working with Jamie from CJN Event Planning for my wedding on 5/24/2014 at Still Waters Vineyards in Paso Robles. I live about 4 hours away so was not able to visit much before my wedding and she made it so easy for me to plan everything from far away. She was so efficient in returning emails with all the questions I had during the planning process. She was great at setting up meetings with vendors and making suggestions for vendors to use in the area. On the day of the wedding she set up everything perfectly, and everything truely turned out better than I could have imagined! I definitley reccomend Jamie and her team to help you plan your perfect day! Thanks Jamie!

    We hired CJN for our November wedding at Justin Winery. We engaged with them in April and by that time were fairly well underway with the venue and a few vendors. Our primary contact was Jamie and from the minute we hired her, she was fantastic to work with.

    Shortly after hiring CJN, they reviewed all of our agreements we already had with vendors and identified any gaps in information. For the vendors we didn't already have lined up, Jamie was able to point us in the right direction, often making introductions and/or appointments for us. Jamie's guidance was invaluable. She was able to save us more than 50% on our shuttle busses because of her knowledge of the area and connections.

    Leading up to the wedding, Jamie was there every step of the way for walk-throughs and check-ins. She asked great and always took careful notes, never having to ask for information more than once.

    On the day of the wedding, Jamie and Chris provided flawless execution. Jamie arrived shortly before the first vendor and I hardly saw her because she was working with the vendors throughout the day. I literally didn't have to do one logistical thing on my wedding day thanks to Jamie. And, most importantly, everything was done exactly as we had discussed.

    During the wedding, Jamie and Chris were in constant communication with the shuttle drivers, DJs, and venue, and communicated anything we needed to know. They kept us on time throughout the night and always gave us 5 minute warnings whenever something was coming up.

    Jamie and Chris even stayed for the entire after party, which was unexpected. Thank goodness they did too because we had a party crasher! When one of our friends identified the unruly man to Jamie, her and Chris quickly threw him out! This really went above and beyond!

    I can't say enough positive things about CJN. If you want a planner that will save you money; remember and execute on every single detail; and completely go above and beyond, hire CJN.

    Jamie and her husband Chris were amazing to work with. Leading up to our wedding, Jamie was very responsive and followed up on all plans being made. Our wedding day was perfect. Jamie and Chris handled everything, so we all got to relax and actually enjoy our wedding!

    CJN was very professional they did everything that they said they would do and more, Jamie Neutill made it possible for me (mother of the bride) to spend the day of the wedding with my daughter. While I did that Jamie did everything else I would have had to do, meet delivery people, set tables, stage and guide rental equipment, cake, caterers, run to store, set up bars etc...and more. Jamie is calm, she has a can do attitude and gets the job done the way you want it done.

    I'm merely echoing the great things others have said about CJN Event Planning. While I could write a much more extensive review let's just hone in some highlights:

    1) Jamie knows her s**t. Plain and simple, she's got the process, local vendor knowledge, and timing down. The number of hours, volume of emails, and quick turnaround time Jamie provided over the course of 10 months of planning made me feel like we were her only clients.

    2) Jamie is super cool - like cool as a cucumber. When I would freak out, Jamie took it in stride, had recommendations and a plan to get resolution. This woman does not get frazzled, she just gets stuff done. If you are looking for a new best friend to hold your hand, try and make you feel better, this is not the place (I really mean that in the nicest way because Chris and Jamie are warm, wonderful people). But, if you are looking for your wedding to happen the way you envision, you communicate that vision to Jamie and Chris, then you can have absolute confidence that it will happen.

    3) I've been told, if you don't have anything constructive to say, then your feedback is worthless. In this case, my constructive comment is for all of the folks who are getting married - you play a role in this, have responsibilities, need to articulate what you want, what sort of role you want Jamie and Chris to play, and communicate details that are in your head if you expect results.

    Jamie made my wedding exactly what I wanted it to be.On my wedding day all I had to do was relax get ready and enjoy. She planned with me from April until October and it was very stress free. I feel she was available to me through out the whole preparation helping with every detail. I recommend her highly for weddings or any other big party you want to throw.

    I cannot say enough good things about CJN Event Planning!!! We hired them for the entire planning and up to day-of festivities and they rocked! From helping us pick out and hire several individual vendors, to taking care of our champagne at the reception (storing it, chilling it, and serving it (!)), they never let us stress! Things went so smoothly that I am completely convinced that there is no way we could have done it without them!

    At the end, we almost felt like we had UNDER-paid them, since they went above and beyond what we had expected. We live in the Bay Area and had our wedding on the Central Coast, so you can imagine the stress we would have had without CJN. EVERY minor detail, from each timeline detail, to the type of food we wanted for our rehearsal dinner, was handled by CJN. They never took over to the point that we didn't have a say, they just made sure that every single thing was handpicked by us, and they ran with it.

    The rehearsal, the planning, the ceremony, and the reception was so seamless that we were utterly elated at the end. And, this may sound silly, but Jamie was so quick to reply, and so detailed in her questions and tasks, that we will miss not working with her any longer and being in constant contact. Maybe we will have a big anniversary party in a few years, just so we can hire her again!

    I could not have wished for a better partner than CJN Events. Both you and Chris were so helpful throughout the process.

    As you are aware, it is a challenge to plan and execute an event for 100+ people, and even more so when you do not live in the same city. You were there to answer all of my questions and make suggestions on potential vendors, even at the last minute. Setting up on the beach and taking down eliminated the stress for us and allowed us to enjoy every moment.

    You also did an amazing job organizing babysitters for our guests! The kids all had a great time, the parents got to enjoy the reception and everyone was happy. I received several positive comments from the parents.

    I can not sing your praises enough. I told all our friends about you and will be happy to make a personal recommendation to anyone considering your services.


    Our wedding day turned out great! And for that I say I say thank you!

    If I could rate Jamie and her team higher than 5's, I would. She was extremely responsive, helpful and what truely made our whole event run so smooth. My family did the majority of our wedding and we spent a lot of time planning and believed we had everything covered. Jamie found the wholes and stepped in to help us out. She contacted all of our vendors and made them seem like they were one company.

    Jamie Neutill provided elite service and veteran experience for our wedding at Santa Margarita Ranch. We had only hired her as a "day of" coordinator but got so much more than that. She took initiative by keeping open lines of communication with all our vendors well ahead of time leading up to the event. By the time our wedding came around it was as if all our vendors worked for the same organization. There was an inexplicable cohesiveness that Jamie should be credited for. Furthermore, Jamie had an intern present who ended up being a phenomenal extra set of hands and eyes. She was attentive and responsive and I'm sure will make a fine coordinator herself under Jamie's tutelage. I HIGHLY recommend her services to anyone seeking a coordinator.

    Being a destination wedding, my husband and I knew we would benefit from hiring a coordinator. After meeting Jamie and Chris at a bridal faire I knew they were perfect for us. They were incredibly easy to get a hold of and responded immediately to any emails and/or phone calls. Our appointments with vendors were arranged for us during our few planning trips to the area and we even got discounts for being CJN clients. Our big day went off without a hitch, all of our vendors were taken care of and happy and we couldn't have been any happier. Amazing value for the money I wouldn't have changed a thing!     Couldn't be happier with these two. By far the most valuable vendors we hired. Jamie and Chris made us feel like we were never alone in any of the mayhem and kept us cool, calm and confident all along the way. Too think that I tried to talk my wife out of hiring a planner is ludicrous.

    To call Jamie and Chris planners and coordinators would be a huge under statement. Their level of attentiveness and ability to carry out our wedding ideas during what is other wise a chaotic event was nothing less then professional. Many of our guests said that our wedding, especially the pace and timeline of events, was the best they've ever witnessed. We have received nothing but compliments from our guests about our wedding. My husband and I would recommend CJN Event Planning to anyone and everyone!

    Easily the best decision we made was working with CJN events. Jamie and Chris could not have been easier and more pleasurable to work with on our day. They were always available to talk, reassure and troubleshoot leading up to our wedding day. The day of they went out of thier way to think of the smallest details to make every moment go smoothly, down to bringing us snacks while out taking shots with the photographer so we wouldn't miss the cocktail food. I could not recommend CJN Events enough.

    Chris and Jamie are wonderful and helped us beyond our wedding day. They promptly answered any and all questions we had come up throughout our wedding planning process and offered us recommendations and advice when we needed it. They are very knowledgeable about various vendors and options available throughout the Central Coast and are a wealth of information. They also helped our wedding day run as smoothly as possible after my husband and I discovered some unanticipated issues with our wedding venue just one day before our big day.     First off, let me just say we would give CJN 10 stars if we could! The short and sweet of it – CJN was the best vendor we hired. Hands down. AND probably one of the best values considering the amazing level of service provided. We can’t stress enough that hiring CJN was the best decision of our wedding day outside of my husband and I getting married!

    When my husband and I first got engaged, a colleague of mine gave me his one piece of advice when it came to planning a wedding – get a day-of coordinator so that you could actually enjoy your wedding without constantly juggling the timeline of the day with demands of family, guests, and vendors. At first I figured I could do it all myself and save money, especially because I have a hard time letting go of control of something as important as my wedding. But the more we thought about it, a day-of coordinator sounded like a good idea: it still meant we got to plan our wedding and book our vendors, but it would give us help on the day-of to manage everything. Since we were looking at a guest list of 160 people, having extra help to manage everything seemed like a good idea, and it was. Choosing a coordinator can be hard however, especially trying to find someone with the right personality and work ethic. Thankfully, we were referred quickly over to CJN Event Planning, and as soon as we were in touch they never disappointed us. CJN is Chris and Jamie Neutill, an amazing couple that have built a great company around event planning. Despite my husband and I planning our wedding from out of town, we were fortunate enough to be able to sit down with Chris and Jamie in person before hiring them. That meeting was just what we needed to feel confident, combined with positive reviews we read online.

    Now about their service level: Jamie was my main contact throughout the planning process, and she was superb. Incredibly prompt at responding to emails, even sending brief notes to wish us a happy Thanksgiving, etc around the holidays. Jamie also checks in on a periodic basis to see how planning is coming along, providing guidelines for when vendors needed to get booked, recommendations for vendors when requested, outlines for day-of timelines, and on and on. The big thing to stress though is that they never tried to push any particular vendor on us or to steer our planning away from what we wanted – they simply provided recommendations when asked and helped us keep on track of the planning process. They were also flexible in putting together the right day-of package for us that was a hybrid of their standard one based on our needs. Bottom line: they let us plan the wedding of our dreams and then helped us carry it out.

    Leading up to the wedding: Despite a busy work schedule themselves AND a newborn (adorable!) baby, Chris and Jamie remained very attentive to our needs. We communicated several times the week of the wedding, trading notes on what was to happen when and figuring out how to get everything where it needed to be. Jamie also checked in with all of our vendors to confirm date, times, etc with everyone and to make sure everyone had the day-of agenda.

    Day-of: We had decided to do some of the flower arrangements ourselves, and Chris and Jamie were awesome at helping us set everything up. Chris picked up the flowers from my parents house the day of the wedding (along with several other items) and got them delivered and set up as requested. Jamie texted me the morning of to say congrats on the day and to stress she was available to help with anything as needed. For someone who was concerned leading up to the wedding about getting all the details nailed down and wanted to make sure the day flowed well, I was concerned about being able to let go and just enjoy the day. Thanks to Chris and Jamie, they had built a solid level of trust and confidence by the day of that allowed me to achieve that goal of letting go – and enjoying! They were always present but not intrusive, guiding the flow of the day as we had imagined. They were courteous to everyone, attentive especially to my husband and I and our families, and always available to do anything needed. Absolutely a “can-do” attitude and VERY flexible. Never once did I feel the urge or the need to look at a clock and make sure everything was running on schedule. During the reception, Chris would gently approach us and ask if we were ready to move to the next key event and if needed, we juggled a couple items. They worked perfectly with our vendors and took charge of managing everything as needed. Even my dad (a very low-key guy) was raving about the level of service as they constantly came around to ask if we needed anything. Examples: I wanted a pair of flip flops to change into after the main parts of the reception, and not only did Jamie make sure they were available, but she reminded me they were there and had nicely placed them under the head table for me. When my dad hadn’t managed to get a slice of cake, Chris ran off to get him one. At the end of the night they helped us round up everything that was ours and get it where it needed to be.

    Bottom line: if you want to truly enjoy your wedding and not stress out about details – or have your family stress out about details – then hire Chris and Jamie! In the days following our wedding, all of us could not stop talking about how wonderful they were and how they enabled all of us to relax and enjoy what was an amazing day. As I said at the beginning – best hire EVER!

    We hired CJN event planning for a day of coordination. We were more than pleased with the service provided by Jamie and Chris. Not only were they there on the day of, but they were also present at the rehersal, the day before. They made our wedding day amazing. For our outdoor wedding it rained the entire day, up until thirty minutes before I was set to walk down the aisle. Jamie not only kept me calm, she had the entire ceremony set up in minutes. I would highly recommend CJN event planning to any bride who wants peace of mind on her big day.

    I hired CJN for the day of only and they were wonderful. they even checked on me prior to to wedding to make sure I had everything I needed and if all was going well via email. when the day came she was on site early and help with what ever our needs were. Unfortunately my son-in-laws dad died on the morning of the wedding and I have to say that CJN stepped right in and took care of everything to rearrange things that needed to change due to the situation. they worked very well with all of the vendors and were very professional. they helped with the gifts and clean up the things I needed to take home. I would recommend CJN for any of your event needs. who knows, I have another daughter someday I may need to call on them again!!!!lol

    Hiring CJN Event Planning was the simply the BEST decision we made for our wedding. They were extremely organized, super professional and took care of EVERYTHING on our wedding day.

    Ever since I got engaged, I've been searching the internet to see what other brides wished they could have done that they didn't do. One of those things was to get a "Day Of" Wedding planner, if not a full wedding planner. I highly reccommend CJN Event Planning. From the first email I sent to them they were nothing but helpful, professional, and very friendly. I never felt stressed about decisions, or pressured into anything I didn't want. I did quite a bit on my own, but without Jamie and Chris I couldn't have pulled it all together at the end the way they did. Everything went off without a hitch and it was due to their forethought, experience, and management skills. They contacted and took care of the DJ, the food vendor, the table rental company, the venue manager, and the florist. They helped set up the tables and decorations, made sure everyone was aware of the timeline to keep us on schedule, took down and put away decorations at the end of the night. They were flexible for meetings, and emailed me every couple of days, sometimes multiple times during the day to make sure there wasn't something we missed.

    Jamie & Chris were the best investment of our entire wedding. We hired them for day-of coordination after realizing how much would need to be done on the day of the wedding and not having anyone to do it. They went above and beyond what was required of them by contract, and were an absolute joy to work with. They worked with my schedule (which is not easy to work with), and were willing to communicate however we needed...phone, e-mail, or face-to-face.

    The day of the wedding, everything was perfect and went off without a hitch. Everyone was impressed by how smoothly the event went, including moving chairs, tables, guestbook, etc. from the ceremony to the reception. Jamie was there to make sure everything stayed on schedule, kept me calm, had an emergency kit, including a mending kit with every color thread under the sun! And when it was time to take stuff down, they got everything in the right car and made sure everything was cleaned up to the location's standards.

    All in all, they were perfect for our special day. I whole-heartedly recommend Jamie and Chris for your wedding day needs, and know that they will make your day wonderful too. Thanks Jamie and Chris for everything you did. I can't imagine our day without you being a part of it!

    Jamie and Chris really provide excellent service! They really do a great job at making it your special day & will do just about anything you need for that to be accomplished. I wasn't really sure I wanted a wedding planner, but I am so glad that we hired them! Jamie constantly checked in with me all the way to the day of the wedding. She was extremely helpful in dealing with all of my vendors & helped me track down the last large tent in the county when it decided to rain at the last minute! They helped set up the day before and the morning of. There were so many small details that I hadn't been able to tell them I wanted done, but they were able to get them done regardless! Everything was done beautifully and with smiles on their faces. If you asked me if you should hire them, I would say absolutely YES! It would be one of the best decisions you will ever make.

    The best wedding planner ever! Always checks in with you to make sure that you have everything done and ready to go. Very helpful and organized and relaxed. Had a timeline for the wedding day, and although none of the other vendors followed it Jamie made the day still flow smoothly.     Hello! CJN Event Planning did a great job on our wedding. Jamie is great with details... she remembers everything! And she went above and beyond... contributing lots of valuable input and addressing issues that we hadn't thought of. We knew that the things that were important to us were important to Jamie, and we didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day.     Chris and Jamie were the event planners for my son's outdoor engagement party where 80 guests greatly enjoyed themselves. The country western theme (Jamie's idea) included checkered table cloths, sunflowers, hay bales, themed balloons and outdoor twinkle lighting. Jamie and Chris spent many, many hours planning, setting up, taking care of the many details, and the taking down. Chris and Jamie were consistently calm, thoughtful and cheerful.
    It was unanimous among the guests that this was one of the most enjoyable parties they had ever been to. Due to Jamie and Chris's careful planning, my son, his fiance and I were stress-free and relaxed as we enjoyed our families and guests. I am very thankful for Chris and Jamie's very successful enterprise.

    We booked Jamie and CJN events for our wedding at Opolo Vineyards and are so happy that we did! Jamie was the first vendor that we booked after we had a great phone conversation and I read many rave reviews about her services. As we booked other vendors, we heard over and over again 'oh, you got Jamie? She's the best!'. I have never had a different wedding coordinator, but certainly believe she may be the best. We got the deluxe package and did all of the legwork for selecting and booking our vendors ourselves. That being said, Jaime was always there for recommendations and advice when we asked. She is very quick to respond to emails and well connected in the central coast wedding circuit. Then in the 4-6 weeks leading up to the wedding Jamie became essential to our planning and reduced our stress levels more than I thought possible. She knew what each vendor needed and ensured we weren't getting more or less than exactly what was neccesary. She also met several vendors at the site prior to the wedding to be sure things went smoothly the day of. She is clearly very experienced and knows what it takes to make a wedding run smoothly. It is impossible for me, as the bride, to know everything she did the day of, but I do know that I did not have to worry about anything! Our ceremony and reception looked exactly as I wanted, if not better, and that was a big question for me after months of planning but not being able to be there the morning of to do it myself! If you are planning a wedding in the Paso Robles area, she is a great asset and you are going to want her on your team!

    Though my husband and I initially planned on not having a "Day Of" coordinator, as we began planning we quickly realized that we were in way over our heads. Our wedding took place at Santa Margarita Ranch, and throughout the day we wanted to use the ranch's train to move our 200+ guests to 3 different locations-- one of which was incredibly remote. Additionally, most of our vendors were friends and/or family who had never worked a wedding before. Choosing to use CJN to help us coordinate everything was one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made-- and we've been together happily for nearly 7 years.

    Jamie and Chris were both incredibly easy-going and open to everything. Before we decided to use their services, they were willing to meet us for a consultation. They never tried to upsell us, and never tried to talk us out of any ideas, no matter how much more work it meant for them. Though they called themselves our "day of coordinators," they were so much more! They came on a walk through of the venue with us months before the event to get an idea of exactly what we envisioned for the day of. In the month before the wedding they took the time to contact each of our vendors to establish a day-of schedule, and used our notes to create a layout for the venue management. Their prices were so reasonable, they were incredibly flexible on hours, and they were willing to take on a plethora of tasks that made our wedding weekend easier and more enjoyable for us. They organized our wedding rehearsal, provided workers to lay out our seating (they literally moved over 100 hay bales onto a hill for our guests to sit on), coordinated all of our non-professional and professional vendors on the day of, made sure that the day ran flawlessly, took care of all the clean up at the wedding site, and were even willing to clean up our after-party venue.

    We are so happy that Jamie and Chris were willing to be our wedding coordinators, and we would strongly recommend CJN to anyone looking for a coordinator in the future.

    We worked specifically with Rikki and she was very helpful for planning our wedding, especially because we were planning our wedding from a distance! She was on top of it when it came to staying on our deadlines as well as helping navigate the other vendors. The day of was great, the only hiccup was the florist which Rikki did everything she could to make that go as smooth as it could based on how the florist was performing. She handled the situation nicely and everything turned out to be alright and we didn't feel like we needed to really have anyone else handling the details. She did a great job and I think she went above and beyond her duty before the wedding day in helping us nail down the details. CJN allowed us to use their warehouse/office to store some of our wedding decorations and such which was really helpful in order to make it easy for them to set out as well as us have a space to keep it all together before the event. Rikki met with us on a few occasions even to go over those items in order to make sure they were being used in the way we intended them to. We were glad to have had the help and services from Rikki with CJN. Thank you so much!

    My daughter attended college in California and we live in Oregon. I hired CJN to plan and coordinate a graduation celebration in California for me since I don't know the local vendors, etc. We had to change the venue a few months before the event and CJN was very flexible and accommodating. The CJN staff member who was in attendance at the celebration was enthusiastic and capable. CJN kept the party within budget and we were very happy with the food, bakery items, linens and flowers - my daughter really felt special at this celebration. I would definitely recommend CJN to anyone planning an event in this part of California.

    CJN Event Planning was recommended to us through our venue, Santa Margarita Ranch. We ended up going with "the works" package because we live in San Francisco and felt that it was best to have someone we could communicate with throughout the planning process. Once we picked the venue we started building our vision of the details for the wedding. My husband and I did a majority of the details ourselves including place cards, collecting vintage plates, vases, menu cards etc... We ran our ideas and plans through Jamie each step of the way. We quickly realized that while it was nice having Jamie throughout the process it was also hard to communicate our vision via text and email and was often hard to connect over the phone. We feel like the planning process worked because we were very organized and knew what we wanted but discussed multiple times that we weren't sure we would have had the wedding we imagined if we left it completely up to CJN. We ended up putting a binder together with detailed placement directions and pictures. This was mainly so that we felt good handing the details over and not stressing the day of the wedding.

    Jamie was the absolute best the week of/day of the wedding. We rented a van and brought all of our DIY projects down (some not totally complete) and Jamie took them off our hands and finished them perfectly. The day of the wedding was perfect and every detail was exactly where we asked them to place it. Jamie and Chris were super nice and helpful directing our wedding party and guests in the direction they were supposed to go and making sure that everything was on time. They also packed everything up at the end of the night and put it in our van so we didn't have to come collecting everything the morning after our wedding.

    Overall, we had a great experience with CJN and would definitely recommend them for the week of/day of the wedding.

    Jamie was awesome in the month leading up to the big day. She was on top of all we needed in securing the vendors and making sure everything was set for the day of. Chris was also great, and him and Jamie work well as a team. Would suggest that they charge more so they can hire more staff in preparing the set up for larger weddings.
    All in all, Jamie and Chris helped make our day be the most special and best day of our lives, without stressing over the details. I would highly recommend using CJN services to all brides who are getting married in the area. They are professional, always available, and easy to work with!! THANKS CJN!!!

    Jamie and Chris (as well as their assistant, Jamie) were wonderful to work with. They were always professional and were very responsive via email and phone. They listened to what we wanted in regards to set-up, decoration, and day-of coordination. They were very calm and never seemed overwhelmed by our requests. The day of the wedding, they arrived at the ranch at 9am to begin set-up. The set-up was beautiful, even though not everything was exactly as we envisioned. The coordination of the day was fairly smooth with things running a little late (as was expected). Our DJ kept us most informed of the timeline.

    Jamie and Chris were extremely helpful with take-down during and after the wedding as well as the next day. They loaded all of our things into the U-Haul my parents had rented and placed all rental items together for pick-up. They even returned the cake stand we rented back to the Cakery for us. Thank you CJN Event Planning for the wonderful work!

    Jamie from CJN Event Planning was recommended to me by a friend, and I am thankful for the referral because Jamie was there for me from the minute we began correspondence. She was consistently prompt in responding to my numerous emails and questions. She checked in with me at various stages of my planning process, which helps when you have a million things on your mind.
    In my assessment of the day-of coordination services, I would only offer that communication between the staff working with Jamie could slightly be improved. The front row of seats at our wedding was reserved for family, which I didn't have a hand in but which also makes perfect sense. The problem my husband and I had was that the front row didn't fill up with family, for some reason, so we had guests standing in the back during the ceremony. There were seats available, so we were a little disconcerted that a staff member didn't facilitate use of those seats for our guest's optimal comfort.
    Other than a couple of very small things (that had very little to zero effect on the joy of my wedding day) I was very happy with Jamie's services. Our reception space looked absolutely beautiful, and Jamie was responsible for making that happen. She paid attention to how and where I wanted things set up; I was quite pleased with the work she did, and the room looked exactly as I envisioned.
    I would recommend working with Jamie for your wedding day. I planned my wedding, but Jamie gave me the extra support and know-how that was integral to making my wedding day a very happy success!

    The only part of the wedding that was unorganized was getting guests to the ceremony on the beach, who sat, who stood and where, grooms men did not (know to) walk anyone, including moms or grandmothers to their seats.

    Jamie helped plan our wedding as a day-of event coordinator. She was great at the planning leading up to the wedding. I think she could have been a bit more proactive the day of in directing guests and the wedding party. My sister and husband ended up having to step in to get people to the right spot for the ceremony, etc.

    As another reviewer stated, Jamie & Chris are a nice couple but missed a few things that were pretty clearly expressed in a printed email the day of the walk thru at the venue. For the most part they did a decent job but we feel they didn't really execute as well as we had hoped. We just needed a "day of" coordinator & unfortunately it's hard to compare what your gonna get when you only get married once in your life time.

    I really struggled with whether or not I should get a wedding planner or coordinator, since I had done so much of the preparation and decor with my husband, but as the day grew closer, I realized I had no idea what I was doing, when to walk down the aisle, the order of events, etc. I read reviews of CJN and they seemed promising. Jamie is a really nice person, but I was disappointed in her organization and work. As a bride, I expected the coordinator to take most duties of my plate the day before the wedding. I spent hours making hanging escort cards that were different shapes and colors. I asked Jamie to hang them and we decided on a spot before the wedding. I was so disappointed to see they were laid flat on a dark piano, destroying any effect of seeing the ornaments / escort cards hanging with light bouncing off of them. I also placed the cards in boxes alphabetically and was told by guests that they were completely out of order. I wasn't demanding in what I asked of her, and this was one small but specific request that she did not deliver on. I also was heartbroken when no one was emailed about the rehearsal. It was partially an oversight on my part, but I feel like it was something that a coordinator who is running the rehearsal would help with. Looking back on an almost perfect wedding, working with CJN Event Planning is my only regret.

    Jamie and Chris are a very nice couple. However, they lack the professionalism that is to be expected with providing a personalized service. We had a destination wedding at a Paso Robles Winery and were required to have a day of wedding planner, however we hired CJN to provide full service wedding planning since we were planning our wedding in a different state. They brought their baby to our wedding without checking with us first and was carrying the baby around during set-up and the ceremony. The tables were not set up as we had directed in the diagram we had provided to them several weeks in advance. They also sent the bride down the aisle without alerting the musicians to change the music to the bridal procession. I walked down the aisle to no music and the music only started when I reached the officiant. Jamie was our main contact and she disappeared with the baby after the ceremony without a word. Chris was attentive, however we were confused by the lack of communication between our coordinator and us. There was clearly a lack of attention to detail which would be expected for the wedding day.

    My husband and I hired Jamie, the owner, and her employee Rikki for our wedding day-of coordination services, and we were extremely disappointed with 1) the services received, and 2) the very poor manner in which Jamie handled our concerns post-wedding. We could have overlooked the sub-par day-of service delivery; however, from start-to-finish Jamie's customer service was very lacking and the way she left us after the wedding day was unprofessional, negligent, and traumatizing.

    To be more specific, though we were disappointed with the day-of services received (or not), my husband and I didn't want to jump to conclusions about CJN and make unfair assumptions, so we requested to speak with Jamie. Unfortunately, every attempt we made to speak with Jamie on the phone was shot down; instead Jamie sent us half-baked responses via email that didn't address any of our concerns. After several days, we were finally able to get Rikki on the phone instead, where she acknowledged many of the issues that took place, but didn't take ownership of any of them. Instead, both Rikki and Jamie did something very uncharacteristic of any professional across any industry - they repetitively threw our other vendors under the bus by casting all the blame on them instead of owning up to any responsibility on their end.

    After hearing from Jamie and Rikki that everything overlooked on our wedding day was due to our other vendors, we requested a conference call between all parties. Our other vendors immediately agreed to setting up a call. That was when Jamie let us know that she was no longer interested in resolving our concerns and that any issues/concerns we had were for us to handle.

    Jamie's conduct as a business-owner was absolutely appalling, and we were so very disappointed and heartbroken that our wedding memories will forever be stained with these terrible events.
