Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful experience with Dan and Mona.

We got married at 2941 Restaurant and they traveled to us for the ceremony. Dan’s officiant services went above and beyond. He even added in a small but important saying without us knowing. It was such a magical surprise! He’s very personable and was a pleasure to plan and work with.

Mona was our photographer and was on everything :) We felt like she used her expertise to create both artistic shots and family photos. From our sneak peak provided the day of, I’m very excited to see the final product.

Both were professional, kind, and flexible throughout the day. In addition, very reasonably priced for our area.

I highly recommend both the officiant and photography services for your big day!

Friendly and Thoughtful

Dan officiated our November 2022 wedding at Morais Vineyards & Winery. He was very friendly and professional and a pleasure to work with! He made significant efforts to help us customize our experience and spoke eloquently during our ceremony. We definitely recommend Dan to anyone getting married in the Warrenton area!

Petite Perfection

Mona & Dan are the sweetest people. Dan had no issues incorporating a hand fasting, broom jump, and our own personal vows. Mona has the perfect touch for the photography. The venue is beautiful and quaint with just the perfect touches of decor but they are A Okay with you adding a few things for your own pizzazz. The dressing room and restroom facilities had everything I needed. My favorite part was the toast and cake option. It’s perfect to carve out a little space just for the happy couple and a few close loved ones. We had a ceremony, photography session, our first dance and a champagne toast for about $600. Definitely check out their extra options in the website shop. We got some super cute postcards to announce our micro wedding too!! Thank you so much Dan & Mona!

Perfection!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, From start to finish was perfection! Mona and Dan went above and beyond to make our day feel so warm, special and full of so much love, joy and happiness! Mona captured such beautiful moments through her heart and camera when we look at them we feel the happiness, joy and love of the day all over again! Thank you Mona and Dan! Trolley Services for Wedding Party

We talked to Mona as referred by our venue for the trolley service they provide at Ciao Bella and we were on board immediately. They are super nice, and very accommodating to the needs and schedule changes we made (even the few last minute ones). Was a cute addition to our wedding day and our photos!

Perfect For Elopements

COVID shut everything down 10 days before my original March 2020 date. After three reschedules, my husband and I decided to get married with our immediate families and hold a reception when it is safe to gather again.
A friend's sister-in-law used Ciao Bella for her wedding a few years ago and she spoke very highly about them. From my first out reach to them, they were extremely responsive and supportive. They were accomdating for the type of ceremony we were going for. They made the day wonderful and my only regret is that we that we waited so long during COVID before we reached out to them.

A perfect day

If you want elegant and stress-free, this is the place for you! My husband and I were married there on 10.31.2020. Like so many others, our main celebration was postponed but then we found Ciao Bella and Dan and Mona. They were so incredibly easy to work with and just amazing. They really make everyone feel welcome and comfortable in their little chapel. Mona takes amazing photos and they can guide you effortlessly through the whole ceremony. No need for a rehearsal dinner, and no long complicated vows or readings. Very sweet, simple, and to the point. We didn't think we were going to have a stress free wedding, and it really happened!

Family and friends have been commenting ever since, that this wedding was just perfect in every way. If you and your partner just want to start your lives together, look no further than Ciao Bella. Thank you so much, Dan and Mona!

Dream Elopement Near DC

Ciao Bella Celebrations was absolutely incredible. My husband and I were looking for a small elopement company in Alexandria, VA (we live in DC), and discovered Ciao Bella Celebrations rather on accident through google. Mona and Dan were incredibly sweet and absolutely wonderful to work with. We had originally planned to have our ceremony through them but in an outdoor location across the street, but when the weather rained us out, they went above and beyond to make sure that the contingency plan of having our tiny elopement ceremony indoors at the Ciao Bella location went off without a hitch. The location itself was absolutely darling and picturesque; in fact, I'm actually really happy we got rained out and instead had our wedding at Ciao Bella. They had tea and coffee readily available as we were getting ready and were so happy to work with us on finding the right songs for walking down the aisle and setting up an impromptu first dance. My husband and I are both absolutely delighted that we found them and we couldn't possibly recommend Ciao Bella Celebrations more highly.

I should add we went with the Sweet and Simple Wedding option (since we only had our parents and siblings attending) without the photography, although Mona was kind enough to take some beautiful photos of us throughout the day as well!

We used Ciao Bella ONLY for their 14 passenger shuttle service, not photography services, and Mona and Dan did a great job. We used their Old Town Trolly service (charming 14 passenger enclosed shuttle) to shuttle our wedding passengers both on rehearsal dinner night AND wedding night from the post- dinner and post-reception "after party bar back to their hotels. They basically shuttled continually, as we needed, among the post-event Old Town Warrenton bar to the area hotel and the area Inn and back to the Old Town Warrenton bar.

They did a great job, came when promised, the service was very reasonable compared to other options and to keeping people safe and they dealt with passengers very well. Mona was very responsive to prior event and communication and post-event followup. The Trolley is quite charming, yet modern, clean and efficient. They were great to deal with as to the Trolley and we look forward to using with them again for the Trolley.

There are just so many good things to say I don't know where to start. Our first meeting with Mona was just wonderful. We had no idea where we were getting into searching for a photographer for our wedding. There were so many things to choose from such as the photos we wanted taken after the ceremony and the getting ready pictures. Our first meeting she sat down with us and walked up through some of the other weddings she had shot and described the photos taken. She was familiar with our venue and showed up some photos couples had taken. Once we had booked her for our wedding she would stay in contact and ask how things were going. She even helped recommended us to our vendor for our cake. The day of the wedding her and her partner were there to get shots of us getting ready before the ceremony. It allowed for the grooms and groomsmen to get some serious but funny shot before. It also allowed the bride to get some beautiful shot of the mothers helping her with her dress. With two photographers there were so many different angles of the ceremony and it was wonderful. Having two photographers were worth it and we couldn't have been happier. The photos were had been looking forward to taking was with the sparklers we had. We really loved the one with them making a heart around us we are just in love with. If you are looking for a great photographer, for the price you cannot beat, please take the time to sit down with them. You will not regret it.

Ciao Bella Photography was absolutely fantastic, and my husband and I are thrilled with our photos! Mona and Dan were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond. On the day of our wedding, they took us all around our venue for photos, and nothing stopped Dan from capturing the perfect shot - he scaled hills, stood in the mud, climbed through piles of leaves! And during the ceremony, they managed to be everywhere at once, yet not obtrusive or overbearing. Not to mention that they are just lovely people, and we really like them and enjoyed their company. They are a husband and wife team who both photograph the event which gives you a huge range of photos. We ended up with beautiful posed shots and perfect candid ones. Mona and her husband were extremely professional. They were flexible and had great ideas for photos when the rain came toward the end of the reception. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Ciao Bella Photography did a fantastic job on our wedding. We didn't want to spend forever on photos so we could enjoy mingling with our guests, and they completely respected our wishes, yet we have a ton of amazing photos. Their system of having photos online makes it very easy for family and friends to go through and pick the photos they like, download them on their own, and make their own prints as they choose. Their prices are very reasonable, the quality is high, and they are funny, pleasant people who are great at what they do. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer.

Ciao Bella Photography is amazing! They provided wonderful pictures and even specially prepared a few extras for us when it turned out a few people had closed eyes. They were creative and flexible throughout the day. Then, to top it off, Mona sent me an amazing surprise gift! I always had quick email responses and they were punctual to the rehearsal and event. I would highly recommend them! In fact, we are hoping to get pregnant, and we are hoping to work with them again for our next special event.

Ciao Bella Photography is a terrific value, and a wonderful vendor. Mona was great to work with. Ciao Bella did both our engagement photos (included with our venue reservation) and wedding photography, and we're very happy with both. The value is outstanding, especially compared to other photographers we looked into, and Mona was able to get great photos, even when the weather wasn't exactly cooperating. She got both good formal family photos and candids at the wedding, and pictures that we feel really reflect us as a couple in our engagement shoot. She was also very flexible with both the location (virtually anywhere in the DC area!) and date of our engagement photos when our original date was rained out.

In addition to the photos being available for download on their website, Mona also mailed a DVD of photos not just to me, but also to my mother and mother-in-law, and to the groom's grandmother, who had chatted with her at the wedding.

Wedding photography was one of the most important elements to us, because the photos last long after the wedding day. We are very glad we picked Ciao Bella.

Dan and Mona from Ciao Bella Photography were such an amazing addition to our special day. We planned a wedding in Virginia while living in Florida and Mona had no issue with communicating with us regarding our plans and photography needs in any possible way. We spoke over the phone, emailed frequently and she even went out of her way to accommodate meeting us the few times we traveled up for planning purposes. They were informative, responsive and assisted us with great ideas on how to make our wedding celebration picture perfect! Ciao Bella Photography is a wonderful group, and we were delighted that Mona & Dan took our wedding photos! Their prices are very reasonable, and because we were referred to them by our venue, we received a free engagement photo session. Mona and Dan were very responsive throughout our planning process. Dan came to our rehearsal dinner to work out any kinks and figure out where we will shoot the important wedding day photos.

Mona & Dan have done many weddings at our venue and were very knowledgeable regarding the scenery, lighting, etc. We felt very comfortable with them, and had fantastic photos as a result! We received our proofs & CD relatively soon after the event, as well as a few display items. Overall, we were SOOO pleased to have Ciao Bella shoot our wedding photos and help us capture all of the excitement surrounding our wedding!

You won't find a better photographer, especially for the $$!! Mona and Dan were so great to work with, they made everything about our wedding day easy and stress free. The quality of the photos are AMAZING and so beautiful, they caught many special moments that were "in the moment" and I am so thankful they were able to capture for us to remember for many years to come. I was an out of town bride trying to plan my wedding from across the country and Mona even offered to give some suggestions on other vendors in the area and was so pleasant throughout the entire process! Also one thing that we thought was extremely endearing was the fact that this husband and wife team worked so well together, they were truly an inspiration on our wedding day of married life with the "I got this one hun" type of comments that just helped to give a great warm feeling about them. They were very responsive from day 1. I was surprised they wanted to come to the rehearsal to make sure they knew what the light would be like on the day of the wedding and to touch base one last time about any specific photos that we wanted. The value for the photos and service we received was unparalleled. We could not have asked for more at a more affordable price. I went to multiple weddings after mine and the photographer was always in the way of the most important moments. Ciao Bella was everywhere and yet you never knew it.

An amazing and wonderful couple! Mona and Dan were extraordinarily both professional as well as fun. They made it easy to take pictures, almost natural at times, and their pictures are some of the most beautiful I could ever imagine (no, not "just because" of myself or my husband!) Great company. I love the fact that is family owned. Mona and Dan are wonderful. The day of Mona was pushed and pulled by my bossy family and she survived with a huge smile on her face the whole time. They did are engagement photos as well and the quality is great. Mona and Dan were amazing! we got married on July 29, 2011 outside and had a tented reception, and it had to have been the hottest day of the summer so far! They captured so many memories that when I look at some of the candid shots, I know what I was thinking or what was going on! The pictures are coming out beautifully and I am receiving many compliments on them! I can't wait to see how the rest turned out! Thank you again Mona and Dan! WOW- that's about the best way to describe my experience with Mona and Ciao Bella. Mona was incredibly easy to work with. She was professional and responsive. I highly recommend her company.

Most importantly, I felt relaxed with her the minute I met her. That made the entire wedding day experience so much more fun and comfortable.
We had an evening wedding in a chapel that was all glass. The lighting was strange and the reflections were problematic. Mona shot some great shots even with the difficult environment! Thanks

The team at Ciao Bella photos is wonderful. My pictures came out beautiful, and the value for the cost cannot be beat. Being that they are a husband and wife team, you actually get 2 photographers for the price of one. They are very easy to work with and came out to the rehearsal dinner to get a feel for the venue. They are open to requests for shots. I felt my pictures were a great mix of candid and posed shots. I would recommend them to anyone.

There is so much to say about this wonderful couple! I must say, I could not be more pleased with what we got from Ciao Bella... We had our engagement pictures done by them as well as our wedding photos. They were willing to drive all the way to our house to take our engagement pictures and then drove around with us to get some great shots in different corn fields and wheat fields... They were just stunning!! Our wedding pictures are just gorgeous! The quality is amazing and they are not just photos, but they are truly captured moments of a day that we will both never forget!! They went above and beyond for us and they were SO easy to work with!! For the price, you cannot beat it AND you get TWO photographers instead of one! Mona and her husband, Dan, were a pleasure to work with! They provided both our wedding photography and did an engagement photo session with us as well. The quality of their pictures is stunning. I have many photos which look like they belong in a magazine! They are easy going, flexible, and have a wonderful eye. We looked at several photographers and the cost of their services, combined with what they offer, cannot be beat throughout the whole Northern Virginia, Rappahonnack Valley Area. I would encourage everyone to use them, not only for wedding, but for any other photos you may want taken. Excellent.

I highly recommend Mona and Dan! They did the photography for our engagement sitting and wedding. They were fantastic to work with and I love all of our wedding photos! My husband and I could not be more pleased with the service from Ciao Bella Photos. We were first introduced to Ciao Bella Photos (Mona & Dan) at a wedding they did for family members of ours. Then it was our turn and we went with Mona and Dan. 2 years later, and an addition to our family and we are still using Ciao Bella Photos for our family photos. The quality of service is the best, they really make you feel like celebrities. The communication service is great also. The cost, I can guarantee you, you will NOT find anyone close to their great deal, along with the great service. I would highly recommend Ciao Bella to anyone. I could not have been more pleased with the services provided by Mona and Dan. They are a pleasure to work with and the quality of their photos are incredible. They know what they are doing and it shows in their work. We had the engagement session and used them for the wedding. Although I have not yet picked out my photos for the wedding album, the photos they posted on the website are great. Lots of posed and candid shots. I had several people comment on how much they loved the photographers. Anytime someone asked them to take a photo, they dropped what they were doing and immediately took the requested posed picture. They were a pleasure to work with. I can't wait to dig through all of the photos they posted and pick the photos for my album! Also, I interviewed 10 other photographers before chosing Mona and Dan. They, by far, offer the best package and value for cost. Highly recommended!!

I could not have found better photographers than Mona and Dan. They covered everything from posed family shots to hundreds of candid shots of the ceremony and reception. Their photos are gorgeous and they were so easy to work with. Mona also did our engagement photo. All of this for a very reasonable price!

The photographers of Ciao Bella Photos were great to deal with. They were very good with communication prior to and post wedding. Provided ample amount of references that were more than happy to give a glowing review. The quality of service was outstanding. We had a very strict wedding coordinator assigned to us from our church, but both photographers were able to work with everything with no problems. The quality of their photos are outstanding. The value for the amount to services that we received was amazing. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with their professionalism, quality, value, and flexibility.

We couldn't have been any more pleased with Ciao Bella Photography. Mona and her assistant (she told us she uses two photographers for every wedding) were an absolute pleasure to work with. They documented the event instead of trying to direct it, which was a must for me--I can't stand bossy photographers! (Horror story time: My cousin got married in October 2006, and their photographer was a nightmare. He was pushy, bossy, in your face, and rather rude. The pictures did turn out beautifully, but now they have the memories of this jerk marring the day.) Far from the ordeal that some less personable photographers can make them, even the posed photos were a breeze with Ciao Bella; the photographers' flexibility ensured that at no point did they bring the proceedings to a grinding halt "to get pictures." They went with the flow of the day in the best possible way.

Another good thing about Ciao Bella is that they give you the option of purchasing the rights to the digital images, which they will give you on CD to do with as you wish. A lot of photographers don't even give you the option of buying the rights/negatives (in the case of regular film) because they want to squeeze every last drop out of you by charging for prints. Ciao Bella will happily sell you prints and albums and such, but we were extremely happy to be able to buy the rights so we can shop around and do whatever we like with our pictures.

I would happily recommend Ciao Bella to anyone planning a wedding in the area. Their courtesy and skill added nothing but happy memories to our wedding day, and we have some beautiful photos to treasure forever.

Both our engagement and wedding pictures turned out wonderful. Also, they arrived to our wedding earlier than they needed to and got some extra shots of the bridal party getting ready, which was great. I really enjoyed working with Mona for my wedding photos. She is such a warm and comfortable person to be around, I felt like she was family. She and her husband took absolutely beautiful pictures at our outdoor wedding. She went out of her way to make sure the lighting was going to work out given that our wedding was at dusk. Our engagement photo session was great, she went to a special park that we both loved and took some very creative shots with unique lighting. We looked for a long time for a photographer and were very worried about the high prices we were finding. Mona definitely was a better value than most and I feel that her pictures were completely professional and beautifully done. I'd recommend her to everyone!

Ciao Bella Photography did an incredible job with the photography for my wedding! I was planning the wedding from a distance and they were very patient with the numerous questions I had throughout the wedding planning process. I really liked the fact that one of the photographers came to the rehearsal to see how the process for the wedding would flow and to plan ahead in terms of where the best positions for taking pictures would be. I also though it was great that there were two photographers, allowing for two different angles of the same scene. It rained most of my wedding day, but I was impressed at their professionalism and ability to improvise on where and when to take pictures, since we weren't able to take as many outdoor pictures as originally planned. I couldn't have been happier with the way all of the pictures turned out; I've had such wonderful compliments on my wedding pictures! The Ciao Bella photographers even surprised me with a special photo album of some of my favorite pictures in the mail that I didn't even order. I highly recommend Ciao Bella Photography!

Mona & Dan were great to work with. They handled a gray rainy summer wedding day very well! The wedding was at a Remington, VA venue where they had worked before so that was helpful. Their wedding services are great value. On the day their teenage daughter was also there as an assistant and was very professional - it was great to have so many people to help with the photos.

Mona and company at Ciao Bella were a pleasure to work with and a great value. We did a combination of indoor and outdoor pictures and were very happy with the results. Ciao Bella was very flexible with how we used them, taking pictures of friends, family, and of course the bride and groom. The pictures were unique, original, and expressed the fun we all had that day. The combination of our own web based album and CD of pictures in the mail allowed us to created our own photo book for family. Thanks, very happy with the results on our special day.
