Incredible Quality and Value for Cost!

Chris was wonderful to work with and we would definitely recommend having him as your wedding photographer! He was very easy to get in touch with and communicate with at the beginning of the process. I had researched about 30 photographers and was pleasantly surprised when we learned that Chris fit within our budget. We met via Zoom before booking, and then met in person for the engagement shoot which was a great inclusion in the package. Our engagement photos were everything we dreamed of, and Chris was extremely helpful and patient with our dog as she was a big feature in our engagement and wedding pictures. On the day of the wedding, Chris and his assistant were there on time and captured so many incredible and beautiful moments. I had given him a list of pictures I wanted to make sure we captured and he got them all! He was so incredible with our dog again, even crawling in the sand on the beach to get some beautiful shots of her. I did not think that we would be able to afford the quality of photos that Chris delivered, but it feels like we really got lucky. He turned around the (many many) photos quickly and I love that we have the rights to all of them. Definitely consider working with Chris for this once in a lifetime day!

Simply the best

Chris was wonderful! As a bride, the pictures were one of the most important parts for our wedding day. I wanted every detail to be captured! Our pictures are STUNNING!! He is easy to work with, professional, and responds quickly to any and all questions. We had to postpone our initial wedding date due to Covid-19 and he was so flexible with rescheduling! Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer!!

Venue recommendations

Photos are easily the most important thing in a wedding. You also want to have someone outgoing and easy to work with! We had a little bumpy road having to postpone engagement photos because of weather but as soon as we met Chris we knew it was going to be perfect. He definitely made us laugh even when some poses were super awkward. I can't wait to see how amazing his photos turn out. If you need a photographer that's going to be super fun and great personality hire Chris NOW!

Great Person, truly an artist

Chris was one of the recommended photographers from my venue, The Dennis Inn. I looked at his photos on instagram and his website and fell in love with the astrophotography. My husband and I booked a meeting with Chris and he was great- showed us examples of his work, went over package details and was just a genuiniely nice person. We decided to go with him right away. We later on decided to add on an engagement session, which was a great way for us to work with Chris before the wedding. Our photos came out great! We were excited to work with him again for our wedding on December 22, 2018, and we were not disappointed. Our photos came back even quicker than I expected, and they were beautiful and really captured the day. Best of all, we got a photo with the stars! Definitely recommend Chris Cook Photography to any couple!

We LOVE our wedding photos!

My husband and I got married in Chatham this past September and we could not be happier with our photos! Chris listens to what you want from a photographer and delivers. He clearly knows the cape very well and offered unique and creative photo ideas that we will cherish forever. Your wedding is only one day, your photos are forever. Chris came recommended by my venue and he was my brother's photographer at his wedding too. He did not disappoint! Chris was very professional and great to work with! We had phone calls and emails to plan everything out and he was very approachable. On the day of, he came early and he and his assistant were very detail oriented and got all of the family shots that we asked for. He was flexible and let us customize our package, which was great. We got great pre-wedding, during wedding and post-wedding family shots and sunset shots after our big day. When the photos came back to us, I couldn't have been any happier! They are absolutely stunning! I absolutely recommend him. Unfortunately, the night sky didn't cooperate so we couldn't get those fabulous night shots that he does, but when we are visiting Cape Cod again (we live in Washington D.C.), we will try to get them from him.

Chris and his assistant were amazing to work with, Chris was on time and was very prompt on answering any questions you may of had. Chris was easy going and calm during any chaos that could of arose. Chris and his team were fantastic! They had some very creative ideas for shots which turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. He and his team also worked really well with our videographer, which made for a very easy and (relatively) stress free day. Definitely one of the best decisions of the weekend!

Chris is nothing short of fantastic! We found him on Facebook a few years back and said at that point when we get engaged some day we want him to do our wedding. Well, fast forward 5 years and it finally happened. Chris just did our photos on 9/17/17 and they are fantastic! He is personable yet professional to work with. An all around great guy and even better photographer. Highly recommend Chris!

Chris is amazing. Not only does he take great photos of people, he's also an astronomy photographer. That means he can take fantastic pictures of people against the sunset or a starry sky and not miss any details of either. My husband and I shared our photo of us standing against the star-filled sky, and it knocked our family and friends' socks off. We highly recommend him!

Wow wow wow! Chris was our photographer for our wedding in May and we do not have enough good things to say. The photos he captured are simple fantastic and will be treasured forever! Chris Cook did an incredible job of capturing our special day in a series of photographs! All the advice I received ahead of the wedding was true-the day goes by in a blink and you have limited time to spend with all your guests. Chris Cook provided a valuable solution to this unsolvable problem: a comprehensive story line of pictures that retold the main events as well as the many special candid moments that we-as the bride and groom-weren’t always present to witness. Chris’ chill personality kept things relaxed and comfortable and his experience and talent kept him on task. He worked like a stealth, positioning himself in the right spot at all the right moments, without making things feel staged or uncomfortable. I’m grateful to Chris for documenting our wedding and would recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled photographer who is easy to work with!

Chris and his assistant were super professional, friendly, and flexible - we are so happy they were able to be a part of capturing our wedding day! We ended up with a somewhat of a crummy weather day, but the photos still turned out amazing. I only wish we had kept him longer so that we could have done a night sky photo shoot, since this is a specialty we were unable to take advantage of!

Chris was absolutely amazing!! Chris really took our wants and brought them to life in our photos. Before our wedding he sat down with us and went over exactly what we wanted captured and he went above and beyond to meet our expectations! Not only did he go above and beyond he was a great addition to our wedding- we had many laughs. His professionalism, creativity, and relaxed demeanor really blew us away. I cant say enough great things about Chris and our photos! We will have these pictures to look back on for the rest of our lives and i am so glad we chose Chris, i would recommend him to anyone!

My husband and I loved working with Chris! He was super friendly, fun and very responsive! Our first experience with him was during our E-session with our crazy dog Rebel. It was freezing cold and snowing and Rebel was being less than cooperative but Chris still managed to have a smile on his face and capture amazing shots! On our wedding day, Chris was relaxed (which made me feel relaxed) and made everyone laugh. We had so much fun and our pictures came out absolutely beautiful! We would highly recommend Chris to anyone!

Chris was a true profession, kept everyone relaxed and captured the love and fun of our family and wedding! I would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Chris was very easy to work with and managed to capture all the best moments/pictures. Unlike other photographers that I have seen/dealt with at other weddings, Chris is open to ideas from the wedding party rather than only taking certain "standard" photos. Chris also did a fantastic job at recognizing when some of the best times were for a photo and bringing my wife and I to the beach throughout the night to make sure we captured it. The photos came out amazing!

Chris Cook and his assistant are incredible. Chris captured our July 11th wedding beautifully. Trust me, you want Chris Cook and his crew covering your wedding.

Absolutely professional, remarkably kind and friendly, and able to capture every moment without being a "presence" everywhere. Chris captured my Dad's first sight of me in my wedding dress beautifully (I didn't even know he was there). He has a talent for photographing people at the perfect moment. We had a beautiful beach ceremony and a really fun reception (including lawn games), Chris took it all in and captured our fun, the details we put in to the wedding, and our smiles and reactions. My husband and I are very relaxed people and didn't give him specific queues after the ceremony, so I was excited to see the photos of our family and friends enjoying the wedding. His talent and experience shows in his photos. In particular, I will always cherish the photo of my Dad hugging me after seeing me in my mom's old wedding gown for the first time and my husband & I walking down the aisle as newly weds. Chris Cook is wonderful to work with and we love our pictures! He is not only a friendly and easy going person, but he is very professional. Chris made us feel totally comfortable with taking pictures (not our favorite thing in the world) and he made it fun and enjoyable. He is creative and he has some unique signature shots that he did with us. He offered us a very good price and he stayed with us from noon until later in the reception. Chris was a great photographer. He showed up early the day of our wedding to scope out the best locations for pics. He was mindful not to be distracting to guests while snapping away. We got some great shots and a CD that we could share with close friends and family so they could have copies. We got our pics back very quickly. Overall, very happy!

Chris Cook is a truly talented photographer, with a great eye for amazing shots! He's professional, relaxed, and easy-going, which I found to be great assets as a stressed bride playing the lead in planning her wedding! We had an engagement photography session with Chris ~5months prior to our wedding, which was not only helpful practice for us to get comfortable with working with one another but also resulted in amazing photos that we used for our save-the-dates! The pictures that he captured on our wedding day are absolutely stunning, and there were particularly a few from the bride and groom solo session that were creative and fun! We got lucky with a gorgeous sunset, and there's quite a few shots where the lighting is simply perfect. My husband and I highly recommend Chris, his talent and eye for photos is amazing! We've already decided that we will certainly reach out to him for our future family photo shoots!

Chris Cook is a SUPERB photographer! He is very professional, fun, easy going, relaxed, and genuine person! We had such a great time with him during our photo shoot on our wedding day! If you are reading this review right now, I would not hesitate not one bit on booking him for your big day! He will literally go out of his way to make your day super special! There are many unforgettable photographs that he captured that day however there is one picture where he really used his incredible talent to capture. The picture is of my husband and I down on the beach, at night, with a sky full of stars, Vineyard sound in the backyard, the beautiful Milky Way, and the Horizon! I mean it is unreal! I can't believe his talent! Chris is amazing! We have already chosen him for any and all of our future photo shoots!

My wife and I had a hard time trying to figure out the right photographer for our wedding. We had met with a few but the most important thing to us was having someone we trusted and we genuinely liked. I took a trip to meet Chris at his house and knew immediately after talking with him that he was the right fit for Amy and I. His laid back but professional approach made me feel at ease, not to mention the incredible portfolio's he shared of his work. I knew after meeting Chris that he was the right photographer for our big day, hands down.

Chris is such a down to earth photographer that produces amazing work. Throughout the process Chris made everything so easy. From payment structure to details about the day, he was right on top of everything. The day of the wedding Chris did everything and we didn't need to worry about a thing. His calm demeanor and knowledge of the right lighting and shots that would make us look our best made it a breeze on our big day. When we had questions he was quick to respond and has a strong loyalty to his clients. His pricing was also flexible to meet our needs which is important when choosing a photographer.

When we got our first photos after the wedding we were awestruck. Chris captured every moment perfectly. From the first look, to the ceremony and the most important family moments... he nailed it! We couldn't be happier with our photos from our special day.

Chris is the best! We could not have asked for a better photographer! He captured every memory and moment so perfectly. He is professional and assertive when he needed to be but also extremely easy going and a joy to be around and have as part of our special day. I was worried about having an obtrusive photographer that I have seen at many weddings where it takes away from the wedding but honestly I didn't even notice Chris during any of the special moments yet he captured them all perfectly. He took a variety of shots from creative, fun, romantic, and candid, he is truly talented. Every picture he takes he shoots multiple shots so he never missed a good photo. There was not one picture that I didn't love or any picture that I wish he would've taken and didn't because he took them all! You could not go wrong with Chris he truly is the best!

Chris is very professional and responsive. His photographs were beautiful and captured the entire event, though he and his assistant were not intrusive or overwhelming. I loved the finished product which was available online within a few weeks. Chris is also a very nice guy and made sure to capture all the special requests we made. I have a lot of extended family, with steps halls and Chris made it very comfortable and included everyone. He is affordable compared to other photographers and I would recommend him to anyone!

Chris was absolutely fabulous from start to finish! Not only is he the nicest guy, he is extremely professional, accomodating, and creative. He captured some of the most beautiful moments and it felt like he wasn't even there! Totally worth the money. After your wedding, pictures are worth everything.

Chris did an exceptional job capturing our wedding memories!!! He covered the entire wedding ceremony and did an amazing job of documenting all our little moments such as the cake cutting and dances. I especially loved all his fresh ideas for photos. The photos he took during the event were traditional, but he also took innovative shots from different angles which turned out to by my favorite! He had great ideas for incorporating special things into our photos such as an old car my husband loves. The photos were candid and beautiful, Chris and his assistant also did a great job being patient with the children in the wedding!!! We are extremely pleased with our wedding photos and everyone always comments on how beautiful they look!!!!

Chris was amazing, I can't recommend him enough as your photographer! We met with so many different photographers and it really came down to 2 things- I felt comfortable with him, and his pictures were beautiful! We did our engagement photos and wedding photos with him, he was flexible, easy going, and creative. He was so quick to get our photos back to us too! We had them within 1-2 weeks of the wedding! If you're looking for someone who values your input, and is willing to work with you, Chris is your guy!

Chris was wonderfully flexible when it came to fitting him into our budget and we were WOWed by the photos he took!! Chris is great to work with. We did an engagement session with him first and the pictures came out great. The day of the wedding he got all the pictures that I had asked him to get and made sure the whole picture process ran smoothly. In a matter of 3 weeks we already have our pictures online to see. It's great how fast that happened.

Do yourself a favor and book with Chris. I promise you will be more than satisfied. He is talented and a pleasure to work with. We have been staring at our photos every day since we received them 3 weeks ago.... It is amazing how many details we forgot about until we saw the pictures. We are so fortunate that Chris was our wedding photographer. He captured so many of the magical moments on our wedding day without being intrusive. He was professional, respectful and very personable. Chris captured the many personal moments between my husband and I during our ceremony at the church and after we got married at a few of the Cape beaches. Our album shows that! Chris was such a pleasure! From the beginning, I was impressed by his responsiveness to inquiries and the ease of our conversations. He has a bright and fun, yet professional personality. We had one face-to-face meeting prior to our wedding and he just took it from there.

During the ceremony and reception, I actually didn't notice Chris or his assistant snapping away, but he had captured it all! His photos told a beautiful story of our wedding day. We were incredibly happy and I would recommend Chris to anyone looking for an exceptionally talented and personable photographer that clearly loves his profession.

Chris was really great to work with. He was very professional and knows how to capture a great photo. He was very responsive and quick to answer all my questions and emails, as well as timely with the return of my proofs (the online ones were up in about a week!)

My only feedback would be that I wish he was a little more assertive and took more control while we were taking photos. For example, line the bridesmaids up by height, or have them wrap their shawls the same way. These were things I wasnt thinking about while taking pictures, but obviously show up in the photos.

Other than that-- he was fabulous!

We had a very nice experience with Chris. We met with him before the wedding and felt very comfortable with him on the big day. Our pictures turn out very well and have received a lot of compliments from friends and family.
