GORGEOUS VENUE! Chetola boasts a one of a kind lakefront venue for both ceremony and reception. We were so lucky to get married during the beautiful fall season in Blowing Rock. Our wedding took place under willow tree and we had originally planned for our reception to be at the lakeside tent. When we downsized our wedding (due to COVID) we were able to seamlessly transition to a reception at the lakeside arbor. Jeffrey and Chassie were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the planning and replanning process. They were professional, organized and responsive to our questions and needs. Chetola's World class Chef and baker both exceeded all of our expectations. The food was the best wedding food we have ever had and all of our guests agreed! The wait staff were polite and attentive all evening. The resort is flexible and accommodating to all guest's needs and very family friendly with ample activities for entertainment. The convenient location to town and hiking made Chetola the perfect place for our guests to stay during their visit to Blowing Rock. There is nothing we would change about our perfect wedding experience at Chetola! -

Chetola was the ideal location for our dream wedding. Accommodations are second to none. From the moment you enter the grounds, it's clear this resort is a special place, run by capable staff with a passion for hospitality. Meris in particular is wonderful, very knowledgeable and prepared for anything.
The condos provide spacious, luxury accommodations for family and friends alike. During our time here we enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony, walks around the lake, and pickleball at the resort's courts.
Meris and the team worked closely with all our vendors to ensure everything went perfectly on our wedding day. Even in the face of imminent rain - which thankfully held off - the Chetola staff was prepared with several contingency plans. Every detail was thought through, nothing was missed. You're in great hands here!
We've heard nothing but praise in the weeks following our wedding from guests who thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The only problem with Chetola: you may not want to leave! -

I loved working with Chetola for my son’s rehearsal luncheon. Chassis Stone was just wonderful -so responsive, professional, flexible, polite & sweet! I received so many compliments on the venue, staff, food and especially the beauty of the resort. Due to weather we couldn’t have it at the Arbor on the Lake, but they quickly set us up in the restaurant and the rain stopped just in time to enjoy the lovely grounds. We couldn’t have been more pleased! -

Chetola was amazing!!!!! I have no complaints. Chassie and Jeffrey were awesome to work with!!! The evening was beautiful and the food was yummy!!!! -

Chetola Resort has so much to offer for weddings including its beautiful lakeside tent set on the peninsula of the lake surrounded by swans. The beautiful grounds offer over 20 amenities for guests, a spa, and restaurant. The resort also offers over 200 different accommodation types and onsite catering making the planning process seamless and easy. Chassie and Jeffrey were a great help and ensured that the event went off without a hitch. -

Chetola was the perfect location for our wedding! Since we live out of state we chose Chetola for a variety of reasons, one being the beautiful location of Blowing Rock, which provided our guests with a lot of activities for a weekend getaway. The Chetola Resort is also an inclusive venue, so we didn't need to worry about finding separate vendors for food, alcohol, or rentals.
Jeffrey, Chassie, and the rest of the Chetola staff worked with us from the very beginning and gave us the peace of mind we needed for planning a wedding from far away. They clearly know what they are doing and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! -
