From the moment we saw Chestnut Ridge online, we knew this was the venue for us, and after touring in person, we had no doubt! Taylor and her team are true professionals, with incredible industry knowledge and planning resources that made the entire process so smooth.
Being a destination wedding, we wanted a venue with beautiful decor to utilize and reliable communication throughout planning… Chestnut Ridge nailed both. The venue itself is stunning and impeccably maintained. So many guests commented that it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever attended!
The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Den are spacious and stunning, with plenty of room to get ready. The mountain view from the Bridal Suite is such a calming way to start the morning!
We loved the ceremony pavilion and having our cocktail hour outside to enjoy the gorgeous Fall weather. And even if the weather hadn’t cooperated, the built-in contingency plans meant no tents were needed. The reception space is immaculate and dreamy. We had 67 guests and worried it might feel too big, but it was absolutely perfect.
We’re so glad we chose Chestnut Ridge, this venue will always hold a very special place in our hearts. 💕 -

We have NO REGRETS booking Chestnut Ridge as our wedding venue. My wedding day was the best day of my life and I am so happy it happened at Chestnut Ridge. The venue is stunning and guests absolutely loved it. The locations makes for wonderful photographs. We got married May 10, 2025 and it was the perfect time. The greens were so beautiful and it even rained slightly on our day which was absolutely magical. All of the walking areas are paved so it's very safe for any of your elderly guests.
I also can't say enough about the staff. I mostly communicated with Taylor (the owner) leading up to the wedding. (I wasn't able to use them as my planner since their planner was getting married the same day - but I would have if I could). Taylor was amazing. I don't know how she responds as quickly as she does. Everytime I met her, she was so warm and welcoming.
The day of our wedding, Taylor wasn't there, but every single member of the CR staff was friendly and helpful. We even got compliments on how nice the bartenders were. We really could not say enough great things about this venue. If you can afford it, you really won't be disappointed! -

I had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Chestnut Ridge in April 2025, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue. From the moment we booked shortly after our engagement in 2023, we received nothing but exceptional support and service from the entire Chestnut Ridge team over the course of two full years of planning.
We were incredibly fortunate to work with Emily P. as our planner—she was instrumental in bringing our dream wedding to life. Her attention to detail, creativity, and unwavering support made the entire planning process seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend utilizing the in-house planning services; they are truly worth it.
The owner, Taylor, was also an absolute joy to work with—professional, kind, and dedicated to making sure our day was perfect in every way. The entire Chestnut Ridge team is outstanding, and it’s clear how much they care about each couple’s experience.
I wholeheartedly recommend Chestnut Ridge for any wedding or special event. It is a breathtaking venue run by an exceptional team, and I’m so grateful to have celebrated our special day there. -

If you are considering Chestnut Ridge for your wedding (or event) - go ahead and request that contract! I worked in the wedding industry for ~15 years in varying capacities and to say that they exceeded my expectations in an understatement! The team that works for CR is amazing and they were incredibly prompt with their responses to my many questions. Not only was the planning process seamless and enjoyable, our guests were also blown away by the property, the views, and the teams response throughout our reception.
I also cannot praise Emily enough - we hired her as our venue coordinator and we ADORED every interaction with her from our site visit to our wedding day. My family who took home all of our personal items after the reception sang the highest praises of Emily and the CR team at how organized and quick they were to help with collecting items post the reception.
I said it in the beginning of the review and will say it again - if you are considering Chestnut Ridge for your event - ASK FOR THE CONTRACT IMMEDIATELY!!!! :) -

Stunning, seamless, amazing group of people to work with for such an important day
This venue was EVERYTHING. Besides the stunning views, long farmhouse tables, the fireplace and everything little detail they put for this venue- what truly makes it the best is their team. I had the wedding planner + venue package + opted for the decor closet first we had a different planner but she ended up leaving and there was NO worry at all once we got assigned with Whitney. She was freaking awesome: always willing to answer all my random questions and truly made it a worry free day. Besides just Whitney, there was also the Bar Manager and she was also lovely to work with & always super helpful. Lastly, with this venue they have worked with so many vendors that it was nice that my caterer, DJ, Metro Wines and florist have all worked with Chestnut Ridge’s team that everything was seamless. All my guest had nothing but praises about this venue. Thank you guys so much! -

Perfect Venue
Our daughter wanted a NC mountain wedding, but not a rustic wedding. Chestnut Ridge was perfect. The setting, nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains, is stunning, and the buildings (ceremony pavilion and reception hall) are beautiful and well-planned. Owner, Taylor, and our planner, Emily, were kind, patient, and professional as we planned from a far. (the bride lives in TX and we, bride’s parents, live in Utah) Our daughter’s wedding at Chestnut Ridge was exactly what she had dreamed of. HIGHLY recommend. -

We had a small wedding of 35 people here, and it was simply MAGIC! Everything from start to finish went so unbelievable smooth, Taylor and her girls are truly masters of their craft! The ladies were quick to respond, transparent, and professional! I have actually worked in the bridal industry for 15+ myself from the beauty side, all over the US, and let me tell you, book Chestnut Ridge! Every single thing these ladies did for me went so very smoothly, and the wedding itself was just perfect! Kayla was my planner and she just will forever have a special place in my heart! Thank you Taylor for giving Bryan & I such beautiful place to start our new life together! -

My husband and I were married at CR in November 2022. We started out doing the venue and planner option, but switched to the all inclusive shortly thereafter, and i'm so happy we did. This is, hands down, the BEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL wedding venue in North Carolina! All my guests are still raving, over a month later, about how amazing and beautiful everything was. And i'm not exaggerating when I say that this was the best night of my husband's and my life! Everything was taken care of for us, by the amazing staff (and specifically Kayla, the best wedding planner ever)!! When you're planning a wedding, everyone prepares you for little mishaps and bumps in the road that are inevitably going to happen. I mean it when I say that we had absolutely ZERO hiccups (or if we had them, I was never made aware of any - that's how good CR staff is). Please have your wedding here. You won't regret it! -

My husband and I got married here October of 2022 and started planning our wedding the summer of 2021. From the very beginning Taylor and the Chestnut Ridge Team were welcoming, transparent, and so helpful! We were planning our wedding from CO as we are Asheville natives- scheduling calls with vendors and not being in the same state was a challenge, but the CR Team helped in everyway possible and worked around our schedule to ensure everything was moving smoothly throughout our planning process. As a very indecisive bride, they understood my likes and dislikes and helped narrow it down to a vision. Based on that vision they were also able to refer vendors that matched my style perfectly. They answered all the questions and concerns I had throughout the year leading up to the big day and helped keep me level headed when planning was becoming stressful. The day of could not have been more perfect or ran any smoother. These girls are a well oiled machine and have everything down to a science to ensure the day is amazing. The crew set up our ceremony and reception area better than I could have ever imagined with no help from myself- I was able to relax and enjoy getting ready with the girls feeling comfortable the team had it handled- and boy did they ever! I might be biased- but it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen and I owe it all to the CR Family. I kept waiting for a fire the day of and there never was one! They handled absolutely everything and there is nothing I would change about the day. I could not recommend this venue and the group enough! -

If you are thinking about booking Chestnut Ridge for your wedding, DO IT! This venue is worth absolutely every single penny spent, and the owner Taylor and her team are all incredible. If you've already looked at this venue, you know the view and ceremony/reception sites just speak for themselves.
My husband and I made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to Covid, and Taylor and her team handled our decision with grace and comfort. Taylor worked with us and our vendors to get another date on the books that worked for everyone.
As soon as we viewed CR over 3 years ago, we fell in love with the venue. Since we don't live in North Carolina, CR's all-inclusive option was the best option for us, and every single vendor was professional and incredible. Taylor truly cares about hand-selecting vendors she trusts, and that really showed throughout the planning process. We had absolutely amazing vendors thanks to Taylor and the CR team.
Our wedding day was beautiful, and we really could not have asked for a more perfect venue. One little story I must add is that, during our final walkthrough, Taylor was at CR planting flowers, and it was in that moment that I knew for certain we were supporting the right business - she truly cares about the venue and the couples who get married there. -

Chestnut Ridge is an incredible venue! Absolutely gorgeous up in the mountains. The ceremony space, cocktail space, and reception space are breathtaking. The staff at CR is also incredible as they have great relationships with amazing vendors and make the day run so smoothly. Our planner, Maloree, helped us months in advance to ensure everything was thought out in complete detail. She also made the wedding day run so smoothly as she took care of any issues and ensured everything was taken care of exactly how we wanted (I don’t even know if there were any issues because they were never brought to my attention because she took care of it). I highly recommend this venue and staff to anyone looking in western NC as everything about the day was perfect for my wife, myself, and all of our guests! -

Dreamy Wedding Venue
When my husband and I toured Chestnut Ridge, it was clear this was the place we wanted to get married! The venue, the professionalism of the staff, and our wedding planner Kayla absolutely made this a one-of-a-kind experience. I truly cannot emphasize how much Kayla helped me throughout the whole entire process. She made wedding planning fun and eliminated the stress out of it all. She is efficient, kind, and SO good at her job. She made my vision come true and I know my wedding would not have been as perfect if it was not for her! Words can't express how blown away I was by all of the ladies at Chestnut Ridge! Head planner (Maloree, my girl!) made my wedding dreams come true! Everything was executed exactly how I wanted it and it was truly a magical day. All vendors were continuously communicated with and all set 30 days out! My planner was there every step of the way and she is a sweetheart. Taylor was also wonderful with communication and Maddy was amazing with anything I needed pertaining to the bar. Chestnut Ridge is a stunning venue and my wedding will forever be the best day of my life!

I don’t have enough words to explain how amazing the entire experience at Chestnut Ridge was. Our Planner, Maloree, was one of the sweetest most genuine people I’ve ever met and she worked with us every step of the way to make sure our wedding day was everything we ever wanted. The venue itself is breathtaking and all of guests were blown away by the beauty of the location, amenities, and set-up. Every vendor we used (all from their preferred vendor list) was amazing and I couldn’t have asked or imagined better. Every guest said it was the best food and desserts they have ever had at any wedding and I 100% agree! Every single detail was perfect and I would give this venue 1000 stars if I could! You would be missing out if you didn’t have your wedding here! -

Unreal venue
Wow! Where do I begin? This place is first class start to finish. They make wedding planning incredibly easy. Picking from their preferred vendors really helped narrow down the selection, and I knew I could trust any of the vendors on their list. Having the decor closet available helped save so much money and really elevated the look of the decor on wedding day without breaking the bank. Maloree is an absolute gem, and I seriously cannot recommend her enough. Girlfriend is on it and so talented. She was incredibly responsive and organized and has the cutest personality probably ever. The venue itself is stunning and beautiful even with no decor. I knew after my tour I HAD to get married there. No other place even compares in my opinion. My guests absolutely raved about the venue and said it was the best they had seen. They truly made me feel like a million bucks wedding day, and I trusted them whole heartedly to execute my vision. They did not disappoint. This place will always hold a special place in my heart. I love the CR ladies. My wedding day was absolutely PERFECT. -

My bride and I planned to look at several wedding venues over the course of a weekend. We booked 4 tour venues and Chestnut Ridge was the first of the 4. We could have saved the gas money and canceled the other 3 tours because we instantly fell in love with Chestnut Ridge. Maloree and Taylor were amazing both were always willing and wanting to assist us in every way possible. They made us feel comfortable with asking questions and seeking their assistance. Planning was so easy and a lot of it is thanks to the staff. When the big day came we didn’t have anything to worry about they took care of everything. Our job was to so up, love, and enjoy. I 100% recommend Chestnut Ridge to anyone looking to get married at a beautiful venue with amazing views and outstanding staff whose sole interest is making your special day amazing and as stress free as possible. -

I wish I could get married at Chestnut Ridge every single weekend! From the moment we set foot on the property (two years before our actual wedding date!), we knew that CR was the place we wanted to get married. Taylor and the entire CR crew go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect on your wedding day! The service they provide on wedding day is out of this world (Taylor even made an emergency beer run for us during the reception - I mean, come on!). So many of our guests commented over and over on the beautiful venue and the amazing service throughout the entire night. Our wedding day was a dream with the dreamiest venue and staff! I truly could go on and on and would highly recommend CR to any couple looking to get married in the Asheville, NC area. HOLY MOLY where do I begin- first and foremost the team at CR was absolutely wonderful to work with. They are extremely professional and truly put all of your wedding dreams together to make the perfect day. Taylor was such a sweetheart to work with from day one. As a COVID bride who had to push back our wedding 6 days before our original date, I thought this would be a nightmare, however, Taylor and her team actually found dates that worked for every single one of my vendors for a new date. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and I highly suggest using their decor closet for your big day. I truly felt like a guest at my own wedding and the stress of wedding planning was taken away with everything being included at the venue. It's a truly jaw dropping venue and was designed to perfection down to the bridal suite and the grooms den. We had the best experience and had so many compliments from our wedding guests. I cannot recommend them enough and am so thankful that my husband and I got to use their venue for our wedding! -

Covid brides listen up! Your dream wedding can still happen with every beautiful detail you have been imagining. I got married on 7/11/20 and as I'm sure all of you know planning was STRESSFUL. I was trying to do everything by myself and had multiple vendors cancel on me. I thought I was going to have to cancel my wedding but sent a last minute email to Chestnut Ridge praying they would be able to help me out... Let me tell you, my prayers were answered! I talked to the owner, Taylor, on the phone and she was so sweet and understanding of all the stress I had been going through with Covid. She invited my fiancé and I to come and take a tour. Needless to say we were absolutely blown away by all of the natural beauty CR has to offer! Maloree was assigned to be my wedding planner and immediately I knew I (FINALLY) didn't have to stress any longer. Maloree was so on top of everything and I got to relax, pop the champagne and soak in all of the beautiful dreams that were coming to life. When we arrived the day of the wedding I could hardly believe it.... EVERYTHING. WAS. PERFECT. CR put so much thought into the smallest details. Maloree was right by my side to make sure the timeline was seamless and attend to any needs I had. Do yourself a favor and give them a ring. 2020 can still be your year! -

What a fairytale of a weekend! Taylor and the rest of the team at Chestnut Ridge were so professional and easy to work with, and went absolutely above and BEYOND to make all of our wedding dreams come true. From the day of our first tour, to weeks after our wedding when we got the sweetest thank you card and post-wedding surprise, Chestnut Ridge reminded me again and again why I never chose anyone else.
ALSO, their decor closet is nothing short of incredible! Having a venue with a decor closet as copious as theirs makes transportation of decorations to the venue (or lack there of (; ) SO easy and is SUCH a huge money saver - but for as gorgeous as their decor is your guests won't know it!!
Cannot recommend this venue enough! -

Cr is a dream!
We knew as soon as we saw CR online that it would be our wedding venue, and seeing it in person for the first time was unbelievable. Even undecorated, it is breathtaking, and seeing it for the first time with our vision brought to life brought tears to my eyes. Besides it being the most beautiful venue ever, Taylor, one of the CR owners, makes you feel like family throughout the whole wedding process, and even afterwards. She is so kind and organized, which is such a blessing during wedding planning. Every space at the venue is wonderful and accommodating to any wedding size and any wedding vision. Our day was better than I ever could've imagined it, and I am so thankful we picked CR!! -

The most amazing wedding venue
We wish we could give Chestnut Ridge more than 5 stars. From the moment we got engaged we knew we wanted to get married in the Asheville area. We researched venues and Chestnut Ridge was the first on our list. As soon as we pulled up to the venue, we knew this would be the place we would get married. The views of the mountains are breathtaking. The venue alone doesn’t even need to be decorated for a wedding because it is that beautiful. You can tell that Taylor did a lot of research when building her venue. Besides the venue, Taylor has put together the best team of preferred vendors. They made planning an out of town wedding so easy. They were always available to answer any questions that we had. They also post so much on social media which was very helpful to get ideas and make decisions on what I wanted when planning the wedding since I was not local. All of our guests said it was the most amazing venue and wedding they have ever been to. They made sure every detail was taken care of and made the wedding day go smoothly. We cannot thank Taylor and her staff enough for the most amazing day of our lives. Thank you so much for everything. -

Dream Wedding Venue: Chestnut Ridge
Taylor has really outdone herself - this venue is nothing shy of perfection! Nestled up right outside of Asheville, NC - we found our DREAM wedding venue. There was not one detail that went unnoticed when crafting CR. When working with Taylor and the Chestnut Ridge family, our wedding day vision became a reality!
The very first time we had seen the venue - it was pouring down rain. Even with the less than ideal weather, we fell in love! We knew in that moment that if we loved the venue this much on a rainy day, that a warm fall day would be out of this world.
We loved the fact that the girls were spoiled in the Bridal Suite, that allowed us to have our own BEAUTIFUL space to relax and get ready in, while the boys enjoyed the Groom's Den after they participated in Shoot Skeeting on site that morning. The ceremony pavilion gives the feel of a chapel with the gorgeous pews, and is so simple, yet elegantly crafted. The cocktail hour and back patio are perfect spots for guests to enjoy throughout the day, and the reception area is STUNNING!
We loved that we got to bring our family (from Pittsburgh, PA) to our new home in NC. It became a "destination" wedding - if you will. Chestnut Ridge allowed us to bring everyone together, and keep us in one place for the entire event, which was a huge plus for us!
From the moment we arrived at Chestnut Ridge to the time we hit the buses to head home after our sendoff, the day was flawless. The entire staff, including Maloree (huge shout out!) went above and beyond to ensure every single person in the wedding party and family were well taken care of. The team made it such a breeze, and we did not worry about a single thing throughout the day. Thank you to Taylor, Maloree, and the rest of the CR Family who made our wedding day literal perfection! When can we come back and do it again?! -

Fairytale Venue!!
My husband and I recently got married at Chestnut Ridge and let me tell you- zero regrets! We originally booked this venue while traveling to our home in NYC. We literally FaceTimed Taylor, the venue owner, and said YES without seeing anything in person. Some people thought we were crazy, but we figured if we loved it this much via FaceTime, in person would only be ten times better. It did NOT disappoint. We had 150 guests attend our wedding from out of state and I can’t tell you how many people said “it was like a fairytale.” I also would recommend to anyone and everyone the all inclusive package, or at least to use ALL of the preferred vendors from CR. They truly made every part of the day come to life and they all work so well together. By the time our wedding day rolled around, we both really felt like our “friends” helped pull off our dream wedding after getting to know all of them the past two years. Whether it was Taylor, the venue owner, helping my MOH get a grass stain off my veil( which I had NO clue about until the following day- THANK YOU!), Candace, from Mingle Events, making sure every single detail of the day was planned to the minute so I had zero worries the day of, or Corey (the best caterer ever!) building my dream French Fry bar, everyone made the day beyond perfect and I am forever grateful I found this venue and all these wonderful people to help make our big day so special. -

Is it possible to give 6 stars? I can't think of a more perfect location to look back on when thinking of our wedding weekend. Every single guest was wowed by the picturesque views and the beautiful details of the Chestnut Ridge. The Greggs have really thought of everything! Taylor made my big day so special and was a literal SAINT having to deal with some post-event items we left behind. Above and beyond doesn't cover it. Chestnut Ridge is truly the perfect venue! When I got engaged I knew I wanted to get married in my hometown in Canton. From the moment I laid eyes on Chestnut Ridge I was smitten. The chapel is gorgeous - those windows at the front! The porch, back patio, and grounds are stunning. And the event barn is beyond perfect - from the wooden beams and fireplaces, to the farmhouse tables, to the amazing bar area, to the beautiful and comfortable bride and groom suites. Taylor has truly thought of everything! Here team is wonderful to work with and is accommodating - they did everything they could to make our family happy! Our big day was truly perfect. We couldn't ask for a better venue! -

Look no further for the absolute perfect wedding venue because you FOUND it. Seriously, Chestnut Ridge is a GEM and was the PERFECT location for our March wedding. They literally have everything covered. Raining? Cold? Hot? Sunny? Doesn't matter because the ceremony location can be outdoors or in a beautiful, indoor/outdoor building lined with windows with an amazing view of the mountains (see pics). Reception can be either all indoor or indoor/outdoor, as well. They've got fireplaces, fire pits, heaters (if needed), and a beautiful patio that can be open to the elements or tented up. They have an outdoor and indoor bar. They have a bridal suite and a groom's den (the den has a pool table and a TV). You can't beat this place. Our guests absolutely loved Chestnut Ridge and said throughout the night how amazing the venue was. Do yourself a favor and book Chestnut Ridge! Thank you Taylor and the CR Team for making our day so wonderful!! -

My husband and I wanted a destination wedding in Asheville, and the minute we arrived at the top of the mountain and saw Chestnut Ridge, we knew it was were we meant to get married. Aside from the beauty of the Chestnut Ridge, it has so much to offer. Taylor and her husband built this venue with love and paid attention to every single detail with brides and grooms in mind. With this being a destination wedding it was so helpful to have a venue that had a decor closet, because we didn't have to pack up decorations and bring to Asheville.
Hands down, the best part of CR was the people. Taylor and her team were always responsive and thinking about things that I would never think of. In the 14 months of planning, there wasn't one time I felt overwhelmed or stressed, because Taylor had it covered. We did the all-inclusive package and I think every bride needs this! CR and the vendors have such a strong network that we never worried about the communication/coordination between them all. I highly recommend Chestnut Ridge to any couple because they made our wedding dreams come to life!! -

Who doesn’t want to get married in a beautiful, scenic, mountain overlook surrounded by the sweetest, and most talented vendors east of the Mississippi? Chestnut Ridge has it all, the southern charm, seasonal climate, top-notch facilities, and the absolute best all-inclusive team. I could not have dreamed up a more picturesque wedding than April 13th, 2019 at Chestnut Ridge in Canton, NC. My husband is from Nashville, TN and my family is from Greensboro, NC we wanted to meet in the middle and hold our ceremony near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Luckily, I didn’t have to search for venues very long…one look at Chestnut Ridge and I was immediately sold! We called and booked the only spring date left on the schedule before ever visiting the property, sometimes when you know, you just know! Chestnut Ridge is more than just a beautiful venue, when you become a CR bride you become part of the family. I am forever grateful for my all-inclusive team, thanks to you guys my husband and I were able to relax and soak in every minute of our big day, knowing all the details were in good hands. We had the best time with our closest family and friends up on the mountain, and I know that you will too! -

We loved Chestnut Ridge! It was so convenient to have the bridal suite, groomsmen space, ceremony space , and reception area in one location. The sandwiches and mini-pies provided for lunch were delicious. As a nervous and introverted bride, I could not have asked for a more relaxing and private area to get ready with my bridal party. The ceremony space is simple, but that’s all you need when you’re surrounded by the beautiful mountains. The reception area has the most gorgeous fireplace and a romantic country-chic vibe. The patio area is beautiful as well. We wished the weather had been a bit warmer to take advantage of that space! To sum up, Chestnut Ridge is a spectacular venue and run by an equally spectacular couple. Chestnut Ridge was absolutely perfect! -

We could not have asked for a better venue. We loved the aspect of having a bridal suite at the venue so we didn't have to feel rushed to go from one place to the next. The lunch that was provided during the day was wonderful, and Taylor was sweet to check in on us. We have received more compliments about the venue. Highly recommend! -

Beautiful & timeless
This venue won over our hearts while it was still under construction. However, the dedication of the venue owner Taylor and her vision for it sold us immediately. This venue turned out to be more than we were promised and our special day was PERFECT!!!
The great thing about this venue is how classic it is. You really can either dress it up in glam or dress it down for a more rustic theme. Either way, the venue does all the talking!!! I didn’t worry much at all about decor because the venue and the views in itself are breathtaking. We used the decor closet as well and that had everything we’d need anyways, great deal!!!
I could really go on forever. The bridal suite and grooms den were the perfect areas for our wedding party to hang out all morning while getting ready. And they provided yummy sandwiches for lunch too!! Also, the ceremony pavilion was the most romantic little addition for our ceremony.
We are just still so over the moon with our wedding day and the venue really was the cherry on top! Love love love Chestnut Ridge and will recommend it to everyone we know. Huge thanks to Taylor and the rest of the CR team!! -

Chestnut Ridge is a gorgeous venue and is just outside of Asheville. Our daughter chose to have her service at the Basilica of Saint Lawrence so we bussed our guests up to this venue for the wedding reception but you can get married here too! This venue is spectacular with gorgeous grounds and breathtaking views surrounding you at every turn . We could not of been happier with Taylor’s vision for this place. Our happy hour was outside on the porch and on the back terrace. Fireplace and fire pits set the ambience. Inside is a beautiful stone fireplace as well as a stone bar with built in beer taps. A beautiful bridal suite and groom’s den too. No detail has been missed! If your looking for a spectacular venue this is it! I highly recommend Chestnut Ridge and any of the vendors that Taylor puts you in contact with. They are of the utmost quality and it showed. -

From the first time I saw pictures of this venue being built on Instagram I knew it was where I wanted to get married. I always wanted a white chapel, and didn't want to have to worry about weather. I love the indoor and outdoor capabilities of this venue, and especially the beautiful mountain scenery. It was everything I wanted in a venue. All of my guests commented on how beautiful the entire property was!

Colleen Sent on 06/16/2018I can't say enough about Taylor and the Chestnut Ridge staff. My husband, parents and I first toured in February 2017 before the venue was finished. We knew that Chestnut Ridge was going to be something special and booked right away. Taylor and the CR team was prompt in communication leading up to the wedding. Chestnut Ridge has truly thought of all details needed on a wedding day - my husband accidentally had mimosas dumped on him at lunch prior to the wedding and was able to take a shower in the grooms den! Our wedding day was seamless - from the gorgeous bridal suite and lunch provided for the bridal party, to the numerous locations to take beautiful pictures, the attentiveness of the staff and their flexibility and ability to help with anything needed. We initially were going to get married on the patio but due to inclement weather we switched to the chapel; Chestnut Ridge was one of the only venues that we toured in Asheville that had excellent indoor and outdoor locations. Best of all, I did not need to worry about any of the details on our big day and was just able to enjoy. I have zero regrets about getting married at Chestnut Ridge. I will highly recommend this venue to my family and friends and wish The Greggs and Chestnut Ridge the best!

Taylor was a breeze to work with and communication was never a problem. We toured the property while still under construction and just knew it was the perfect place to say “I do!” Although it was cold and rainy on the wedding day, our guests stayed warm and dry. CR was beautiful and perfect for us in every way!

Chestnut Ridge is absolutely breathtaking with their mountainous view and beautiful white barn. It has exactly the rustic chic feel I was going for. March 24th 2018 can't come fast enough! -

Taylor, Preston and their team at Chestnut Ridge were so accommodating and helpful, and they have put together an amazing venue for a turn key wedding. You want it, they got it or can help you find it. The venue itself is perfect, I know there are tons of spaces out there and they are probably all very nice, but we can't imagine a better set up. We loved our separate places to get ready, we even had some weather but it didn't bother us at all because of how well planned out the space is. Our guests came up to us all night and commented how amazing our wedding was and "how did you find this place?!?!?!". Perfect day and we couldn't be happier.

Our wedding was absolutely amazing due to an amazing team that was super hands on and helpful through the entire experience. Also, the views are SPECTACULAR! Our guests still cannot get over how gorgeous the venue and the view. This is listed as a farm/barn type of venue but it is way more than that as it has so much elegance and beauty that you don't even consider this a "barn". If you want to wow your guests then this is the venue to pick! -

Chestnut Ridge is a beautiful venue, unfortunately that is it. You are paying for the barn, tables and chairs. It was brought to my attention from a guest at the wedding there were some dirty chairs which was very disappointing to us. What you’re not getting with this venue is any sort of communication. We booked with Chestnut Ridge in June of 2018, after booking there were many changes which were not communicated to us. These included no longer offering fireworks to more than 1 bride a month. We were very disappointing to learn this as we were looking forward to the traditional fireworks, instead we were able to use the fountain fireworks. The fountain fireworks were also beautiful but not what we had originally hoped for. After booking the venue, they had sent us home with recommendations for vendors which we choose including our rental company. We had signed a contract and put a deposit down for us to learn at our 60 day walk through from our planner that Taylor now charges a fee to use that company. This caused a bunch of stress and was not fixed until 10 days before our wedding day. We were extremely disappointed about the fireworks as it was one of the reasons we choose the venue. During our 6 month walk through we were brought on a tour since that’s what they thought we were there for. Our families flew into town for our Chestnut Ridge employee not to even know we were booked already. Wedding day I did not receive any hello from the owner Taylor but instead asked about a check. Ironic since it took her well over the contracted 5 days for her to return our security deposit. On wedding day there was another bride’s tour/walk through happening despite my SPECIFIC instructions for that NOT to happen per our contract. She completely ignored my request to have the venue to ourselves as our contract specified. The lack of communication we experienced cause a lot of stress in planning our wedding day.
