Stunning work

I can’t recommend Chelsea enough. My husband and I wanted our photos to feel authentic and natural so that when we looked back, we felt like we could relive each special moment in its truest sense. Chelsea did just that. She beautifully captured our love and the happiness and emotion of our guests, and did an excellent job at documenting so many candid moments that have brought us back to a feeling and a memory.

She checked in with us throughout the year, so that even though we didn’t meet her until our big day, we trusted her work and her vision. Her presence was calm and reassuring. She kept us on schedule, and ensured that amid the wedding day chaos, we could take some moments to slow down and take in the day.

Wonderful Experience Throughout!

It was a total dream to work with Chelsea for our wedding! From our initial phone call to the end of the reception, Chelsea's thoughtful, warm energy made us feel calm, confident, and excited. Chelsea is simply an incredible photographer. She's been the photographer for two of my cousin's weddings and when it came time for our own wedding we knew Chelsea was the best choice for us. Working with Chelsea was incredible from day 1. From inquiring about her service at the beginning of our vendor search to our wedding day, she truly exceeded our expectations.

Chelsea is not only unbelievably talented at capturing the most beautiful moments, she is a warm- hearted and energetic human who truly made our wedding day magical. We had a large wedding party and Chelsea was able to organize our crew to get the photos we most wanted on our day. She was so much more than a photographer- amongst the chaos, she stepped up to help the groomsmen out on their boutonnières and bustled my dress!

Dream Photographer! Look No Further

I could gush forever about Chelsea. Not only is she an absolute master of her craft, but she is a beam of light in human form. She was so easy to work with from start to finish and made my now husband and I so comfortable on the day of, which really showed through in the photos. She answered all of our questions and was very clear on pricing (no hidden anything, very upfront which I found was not always the case when getting quotes from other people). We also had a very large wedding party (21 people) and fairly large families, so the thought of the portraits was daunting (will we have enough time to finish before the ceremony? will all these people take extra time to wrangle? etc.) but Chelsea was so organized and knew how to command everyone's attention; we were so impressed and grateful for this efficiency. She made things fun and easy, and all of our friends and family commented on how incredible she was the day of. After the wedding, she posted teasers almost immediately and then we received our entire album two weeks later which was mind-blowing considering there were over 900 photos in the collection. Alex and I were in love with every photo, as were our friends and family. If you are considering working with Chelsea I would say look no further, you will be in excellent, experienced, and loving hands.

Absolutely fantastic!

Words can’t describe how amazing Chelsea was as our photographer. From the engagement shoot a year prior to the big day, she was so responsive, so kind, and really understood my vision for the big day. She captured moments I didn’t expect to love so much. She was SO flexible with the family photos and helped us figure out the most important photos to take during that time as to not waste any time. Her style and aesthetic of her photos was perfect for what I wanted: romantic, bright, and dreamy. She absolutely nailed it. I felt completely confident in her after the stunning engagement shoot and I already know I’ll be hiring her to photograph many other life events! She is unbelievably quick at sending over previews of the photos and just as fast at delivering the entire file to you! I love that she didn’t send me 9000 photos, but a perfectly curated amount of moments that mattered. It made it so easy to skim through without feeling overwhelmed. I was also surprised to have received a box in the mail a few weeks after with some small prints from the wedding and a USB drive of all the digital files! I’m not sure if that was part of the contract or not, but it was still a delight to see what our photos could look like in print! I seriously could not recommend her enough as a photographer for ANY special event you may have.

Incredible Wedding Photographer

We were privileged to have Chelsea photograph our wedding on August 6th and our engagement pictures last summer. Chelsea is a remarkable person and photographer. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, she was extremely communicative, supportive, and professional. Chelsea quickly answered my many wedding emails, eased my worries about the unpredictable Berkshires weather, and was so helpful in orchestrating our wedding day timeline. My husband and I felt so comfortable with Chelsea, it was as if we had known her years. Her calm and organized energy on our wedding day helped to make everything run so smoothly. She captured every detail of our day and our love so perfectly. Our pictures are absolutely breathtaking and we will cherish them forever. I would recommend Chelsea to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer. You will not regret it! Most organized and professional photographer who takes stunning photos!

We got married at the House of Seven Gables in Salem, MA. Chelsea helped our day flow seamlessly. She found the perfect light for our photos and captured all portraits within an hour. The natural candid shots she captured were so good they looked posed! I got my wedding photos in less than a month after the wedding and couldn’t be happier!

Chelsea is great!!

We are so glad we worked with Chelsea for our wedding! She was extremely responsive and personalized her process every step of the way. After an initial meeting we put down a deposit and we’re pleasantly surprised to receive a candle in the mail saying she was excited to work with us. How nice! Then she included engagement photos as part of the package, and she suggested a beautiful spot for us to use. She also sent us a survey to get to know us better, which was a fun date night activity to complete. It was great to do the engagement photos to get to know her more and spend time posing for the camera, which didn’t feel natural to us at first, but Chelsea was very fun and lighthearted and they came out great.

When it came time for the wedding, Chelsea also sent us a form to make sure she would capture all the shots we wanted and be aware of any family or guest dynamics. It looked like it might rain for our wedding and Chelsea was prepared for any weather.

On our actual wedding day she was amazing to have around! She kept us running on schedule, directed our families with ease, and when my dress got dirty she even helped me clean it before the ceremony. Chelsea helped me feel very relaxed.

All this AND the pictures came out incredible. We love reviewing them and are so happy we chose Chelsea as our wedding photographer. 10/10 we recommend!

Our experience with Chelsea was phenomenal. She was recommended to us by a friend, so our expectations were high, but she far exceeded our expectations. When we first talked with Chelsea, it was clear that she wanted to get to know us so that she could capture our wedding day in the ways that were most important to us. She learned about us and our relationship. When our wedding was rescheduled (multiple times) due to COVID, she was flexible and understanding. Chelsea had such a professional, friendly, and calming presence on our wedding day. Multiple of our friends who are planning weddings pulled us aside to ask how far Chelsea would travel. Chelsea got our photos back to us very quickly, and she somehow managed to capture every single emotion and special moment we shared on our wedding day. Wedding Photographer

Deciding to work with Chelsea Proulx as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Chelsea took our engagement photos pre-pandemic in February 2020, traveled to our hometown to photograph our intimate wedding ceremony in December 2020, and then photographed our vow renewal/wedding reception in February 2022. Her kind, warm, easy-going personality compliments any bride or groom. She creates an environment that feels comfortable even when you've just met. Chelsea is also very thoughtful and thorough in her photography. She is detail-oriented and her process allows there to be little to no questions come the day of your wedding. She will communicate with you throughout your entire wedding planning process and is always responsive to any questions you may have. Chelsea is absolutely amazing!!! She is so responsive, often answering emails within minutes, easy to work with and fun!

Chelsea was there to help me throughout the entire wedding planning process. She put together a detailed timeline for our day, helping everything to run on time and smoothly. She worked magic organizing our large and loud families for portraits and she was awesome with our pup!

And the most important part, her work is absolutely stunning. We were given a sneak peek of our day less than 24 hours later and had all of our edited images within 10 days of our wedding! There wasn't one photo that we didn't love!

The BEST photographer for our mountain micro-wedding

From the moment we met Chelsea for our engagement shoot at our wedding location, atop the summit of Mount Greylock in the Berkshires, we knew she was the photographer for us. Chelsea was willing to get "down and dirty" - literally! - on any trail, grass, trees, and more, to get the perfect shot. Not only that, but Chelsea made all of our family and friends so comfortable on our wedding day... many people told us they barely noticed her there, despite capturing amazing candid shots. The MOST incredible experience working with Chelsea

We do not have enough words to express how incredible it was to have Chelsea capture our wedding day! Right from our first initial phone call, we knew that she was the right photographer for us. She really takes her time to get to know you as a couple and capture who you are in her work. Her photos are genuine, authentic, timeless and beautiful.

Planning a wedding through the pandemic was no small task, but Chelsea remained a shining light through our whole wedding planning process! She is consistent, timely, flexible, kind, SO genuine and funny to boot! (Que her scrubbing make-up off my dress sleeve moments before I walked down the aisle with a smile on her face, as well as offering to hold onto our 120lb dog, Nellie and take pictures at the same time!) She made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Her thoughtful touches, including a welcome note and gift, and the most beautiful post wedding photo package were just the cherry on top.

We are so grateful to have found Chelsea and can't wait to continue working with her, and having her capture all the seasons of our life in the future. She is the best!!

Photos that perfectly captured our day!

Chelsea photographed our small (20 people) backyard wedding in June 2021. She was incredibly responsive and helpful as we thought through the plan for the day - asking us questions that helped ensure our wedding day exceeded even our expectations! Chelsea made everyone feel comfortable and was able to capture so many perfect little moments throughout the day. We ended up running a bit over and Chelsea was extremely accommodating and flexible to add time as needed. A great experience with Chelsea!

Chelsea was spectacular to work with leading up to the wedding and especially day of! I worked with Chelsea as a bridesmaid in a friends wedding and I knew right who to reach out when I got engaged :) She takes time to get to know you as a couple. Besides her beautiful photos - I felt supported and not judged one bit while navigating 1000 photos that day. We had to make a game time decision on our wedding day to move our ceremony inside for the weather. While we felt A LOT of pressure from our venue to go inside -- Chelsea was right by our side advocating for us and helping us predict the weather forecast. We ultimately stayed outside with out any major weather! My family had only good things to say after the wedding about Chelsea and her organization and friendliness. Chelsea is a rockstar! We are SO happy that we worked with her for our wedding. We initially contacted her in 2019 during our engagement, and she was amazingly supportive during all the 2020 changes with COVID. Chelsea was perfect leading up to the big day, helping us with some big decisions and making sure we would get all our shots in time. When my hair and makeup timeline got messed up, Chelsea rolled with the punches and made sure we still got in TONS of pictures that we wanted! A wonderful experience and great photographs

We eloped on June 9th, in a bed and breakfast in the Berkshires. As it was just the two of us, it was really important to have a photographer that could capture that special moment and help us share it with our families. Not only did Chelsea take gorgeous photos, it was very nice to have her around and we had a lot of fun during the photoshoot. She captured the real "us" and the happiness of that special day. Perfection awaits you !

Words cannot describe how truly lucky my husband and I feel to have found Chelsea. Photography was our top priority for our wedding day - we knew we wanted them to be perfect so we would have them for generations to come. Excellent Experience with Chelsea!

Chelsea is an amazing photographer! She captured every emotion as well as the natural beauty of my daughter's wedding. She was so efficient and non-invasive going with the natural flow of the event. We forgot she was there! Everyone who has seen our photographs has told me how exceptional they are. Sadly, we unexpectedly lost the mother of the groom 2 weeks after the wedding. Our experience with Chelsea capturing our wedding far exceeded our expectations! When we first reached out to Chelsea a year prior to our wedding, it was very clear we were already making the right choice. She was professional, personable, and already showed great initiative to do whatever she could to facilitate capturing our special day. In the months leading up to the wedding; she went above and beyond to get to know us as a couple and our goals for photography at the wedding. In planning, she came up with incredible and exciting ideas. On the day of the wedding, she fit right in; she had a comforting and fun presence as if she had been a close family friend for years. She was both staunchly prepared and adaptive. She blended in to catch great candids and took leadership to ensure all desired photos of the wedding party were taken. During our portraits, she again had a comfortable and fun presence that made the experience relaxing, fun, and memorable. Overall, our experience working with Chelsea exceeded any and every expectation! The photographs turned out amazing and we would strongly encourage any couple to work with her for their special day!

We absolutely loved working with Chelsea! She was attentive and organized while remaining calm and flexible to the situation. As many couples, we had to change a lot of our wedding plans during the pandemic and Chelsea was with us every step of the way. Not only was she great to work with, but her photos are gorgeous. Highly recommend Chelsea!

Hiring a photographer was one of the more difficult decisions we had to make because we wanted to make sure we were hiring someone that was not only going to produce hugh quality pictures but also work well with our families, neither of which is used to being photographed! We were referred to Chelsea by a friend and could not be happier with the referral! Chelsea is super laid back and easy to work with, but is also completely on top of things. She was always responsive and helpful giving us suggestions and guidance. We had a winter wedding and I had assumed that we would do our first look indoors but Chelsea suggested going outdoors and using the daylight that was available to get some golden hour pictures and I am so glad because they came out AMAZING. Not knowing much about photography and not having had professional pictures taken before, it was really helpful having Chelsea give us her professional opinion. I would also say that being someone who previously thought engagement pictures were a waste, I now firmly believe every couple should do them. Not only did we get to know Chelsea and her working style ahead of the big day, but we started to get comfortable in front of the camera.

Its also worth noting that Chelsea got all of our pictures back to us much faster than anticipated, and gave us teasers only days after the engagement shoot and wedding. We could not have been happier with Chelsea's services and we plan to get our wedding album through her as well. On top of it all, she has a great personality that is so easy to get along with, which makes your wedding day that much smoother!

Chelsea is AMAZING!! 100% Recommend!

Chelsea can be summed up in 1 word...AMAZING!! My husband and I live in the Boston area, but were getting married in our hometown a few hours away. Chelsea was so flexible with our schedules and was very responsive with emails. She made our engagement session so special, even though it was raining.

The day of our wedding I could not have asked for a better photographer. Chelsea helped us plan the schedule to accommodate our request for no first look. We also both had large families with lots of requests for photos after we were married. Chelsea was able to organize and efficiently get through all of the photos in plenty of time for us to still enjoy some of the cocktail hour.

And if all of that is not enough, the beautiful photos she took came so fast! We are giving gifts to our wonderful family for the holidays and the photos came so quickly there was no stress.

You found your photographer!

Hello future brides & husbands! You are probably going through your options for a potential photographer at this point in your planning process. I did the same, and before continuing your search please know, Chelsea is an absolute WIN!
She was amazing throughout the entire process of planning, up until the big day and afterwards. Prior to us hiring Chelsea as our photographer, we had a conference over the phone. That was the moment I knew she was "our one" LOL! The vibe was very easy going and it was as if she met my husband and I many times before, she was very welcoming and professional all in the same breath. There was a simple chemistry that allowed us to make the decision right after our introductory call. When I did finally meet Chelsea, they day of my wedding, I was so relieved! She was exactly as she came off on our numerous phone calls, emails, and texts that led up to the day. This for me was extremely reassuring as I was very anxious and jittery the day of, pretty much full of nerves even though it was the most exciting day of my life! She brought me back down to earth and reminded me what a beautiful bride I was and that we had a perfect day ahead.
It was a bright sunshine-y day, barely a cloud in the sky! We had our first look pictures on the beach I grew up spending my summers on. A very difficult setting considering the light, prime time of day, and reflection of the ocean. Chelsea literally conquered this difficult timing and lighting as if it was her forte. Truly she is a rockstar, an absolute pleasure to work with, and an extremely talented photographer.
I promise you will not regret your decision in hiring her. I am already looking forward to working with her on any future photographer needs!
She is an incredible photographer, likewise as an individual!

Chelsea just gets it!

My husband and I hired Chelsea as our wedding photographer after watching her work her magic at two of my cousins' weddings. We already knew she could handle large, boisterous families, of which we were about to unite two. All along the way, we stressed our desire to get nice portraits together (as a couple who had about five photos together before the wedding) but mostly focus on our families and the reunion aspect of a wedding: drinking, dancing, connecting. From the second we met up that afternoon, Chelsea was ready to go with a plan, shots she wanted, places she wanted to check out, and she did it all with amazing efficiency. Over the course of the evening, she captured every shot we wanted and more. She handled our crazy family group shots with proficiency and poise (which is a challenge when you're shooting across a busy street!) and snuck in some fun surprises. She was also very prepared for the low light in the reception venue (a restaurant), getting lots of well-lit and crisp shots of our friends and families that we will treasure forever. If you need someone who will keep you organized, get everything done, and make you laugh and feel comfortable the entire time, I absolutely cannot recommend Chelsea enough.

Chelsea was so easy and pleasant to work with throughout our planning process. She was always responsive and quick to help with answering questions, guiding us in planning our timeline, etc. Both my husband and I hate getting our photo taken, but Chelsea is great at getting you to relax and guiding you into poses that feel natural and comfortable. She works quickly and efficiently without making you feel rushed. We felt that her pricing was the best out there considering the high quality of service and obviously the high quality of the photos. The Best!!

Chelsea was the photographer for our wedding this past May. I seriously could not speak more highly of Chelsea and her work. She was so professional, friendly, easy going and skilled. She worked quickly and efficiently to make sure we got all the shots we wanted while not making photography the focus of the day. Chelsea walked us through every step of the process from providing sample timelines to called us the week before the wedding to go over the plan and all the final details. I appreciate her hard work and careful planning of photo locations, colors and our personal tastes. Our wedding photos came out absolutely beautiful and we got a sneak peak of all of our photos less then 2 weeks after our wedding! I would 100% recommend Chelsea!

The best photography

Chelsea was super professional, friendly and made me and my husband super comfortable during the engagement shoot and on the wedding day! Chelsea was fantastic. From even before our pre-wedding meeting, my fiancé and I knew that we could explicitly trust Chelsea's skill on one of the most important days of our lives. You know you picked a good photographer when every one of your bridesmaids contacts you afterwards asking if they can use her for their eventual weddings. Chelsea was absolutely fantastic! She is authentic, down to earth, and incredibly experienced, as can be seen by her work. She made us feel so comfortable and captured the most heartwarming but authentic moments of our wedding - all without us ever noticing she was there. We could not have asked for more and we hope to work with her again in the future as our little family grows. There's too much to say in one review.

Chelsea is more than your photographer in the months/weeks/days leading up to a wedding. She is a solid planner. She is extremely organized. Chelsea was very supportive, confident, and possitive throughout our conversations. She made sure we had a plan, a shot list, and a style before the big day. She arrived early and ready for action on the day of. She made sure the time she spent was worth while, she didn't try to stay longer or suggest that during planning. She focused on US and our needs. Chelsea is a very confident and kind personality presence that helps to guide a very hectic (in our case Italian and Greek) set of families throughout the wedding day. Chelsea ensured to get every shot and then again. She was able to move the families around quickly and make sure they were smiling, respected, making photo taking fun, not work. She's also quick on her feet to see a great photo opportunity! She enabled us to enjoy our day in the moment because of her confidence, organization, and possitive attitude.

How were the photos? You tell me! To us they were perfect. Chelsea has wonderful timing and a great eye. We couldn't be happier with the service, results, and value. By far the most important investment we made was in a talent like Chelsea as our photographer.

Chelsea was incredible to work with and we could not be happier. She took wonderful engagement and wedding photos for us. Due to an unfortunate medical diagnosis, my wife and I needed to urgently move our wedding up unexpectedly and plan everything in four days. Chelsea Proulx Photography deserves more than 5 stars!
I used Chelsea to photograph all my events related to my wedding and I was extremely happy with everything, each picture was better than the last. It was important to me to have very natural candid photos that felt like us and not extremely formal. She even caught a few very funny ones that I treasure. Her responsiveness and flexibility with scheduling was awesome. No question went un-answered, no matter how ridiculous. Her patience and calm demeanor on the day of the wedding was very comforting, pictures can be stressful especially when it involves a lot of family and grandparents with oxygen tanks!
The best part (or most exciting) is I had all my pictures for each event within 3-4 weeks, sometimes sooner!!
It doesn't end there - Chelsea made the album process after the wedding very easy to navigate. Even though we took forever to pick out our photos and finalize everything, Chelsea did a beautiful job capturing what we wanted in just the right way.
Hands down the best service you can get in a photographer. From day one of us meeting her to the wedding day to selecting photos for our album Chelsea was there 100% for the long ride. You don't need a photographer for just the wedding day, you need one that goes way beyond that and you'll get that from Chelsea.

My husband and I found Chelsea after admiring a friend's wedding photos online. From the moment we spoke with Chelsea for an introduction through to the day of the wedding, she was nothing but professional and practical. She graciously agreed to come to NYC (a 2.5 hour drive) to do an engagement shoot and stayed to have lunch and get to know us. She made us feel comfortable with her easy laugh and good humor, and rolled with our ideas as we dragged her down city blocks. We were smitten both with the images and with the photographer. Having already spent time with her and answered questionnaires about our day-of priorities, by the time we got to the wedding itself we felt confident she knew what to do, and we were right. She worked easily through our arranged schedule, got every single shot we asked for (and more!) and kept a smile on her face the whole time. We are thrilled with the final results, and know that her images will tell the story of our favorite day for years to come. We feel like we really lucked out in finding a talented, professional and likable photographer for a competitive price. We're glad to have worked with Chelsea and feel fortunate we will be able to work with her again as we head toward other life milestones.

Chelsea is exceptionally thorough, going above and beyond what you'd think your photographer will handle. Before the big day, she reviews a myriad of scenarios that can happen (wrangling friends for photos, weather/crisis plans, what family members maybe shouldn't stand next to each other...). Things you might not have thought of yourself but she's experienced in her many previous weddings, and wants to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible. She also helps create a timeline, again so you're as efficient or as leisurely as you wish so your day is how you envision.
Chelsea's service starts when you first contact her, and does not end at the wedding. She's there to make sure your photos are as you envisioned, and will send you sneak peeks as she edits so you're not left in the dark until they are all done.
Cannot wait to make my wedding book to cherish the photos forever :)

I think capturing how great Chelsea is in a review would be difficult but I'll try. From the very beginning she made us feel very comfortable as we talked through what we wanted from a photographer (which we were not really sure) but more importantly she talked about what she enjoyed about photography and specifically photographing weddings and what she thought worked well. We first did our engagement pictures which was a fun morning that felt relaxing and like my fiancee and I were just hanging out together on any other day. After this we were very excited to have Chelsea be a part of our day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding Chelsea made me feel very relaxed because she was very professional and organized, making sure we had a timeline that made sense for the day and that she was aware of all the pictures we wanted to capture (and suggesting some that we had forgotten along the way!). When it came time for the big day Chelsea was on time if not a little early, which is always reassuring on the day as you worry about things flowing well. Throughout the day she was very upbeat and seemed to be going with the flow while still keeping us on time. We did not want to feel like we were missing out on parts of our day and I can honestly say we did not feel like we were missed anything. One of our favorite parts from the day was when we went off with Chelsea to take pictures just the two of us and we finally felt like we had some time alone. May sound odd that we felt like we were alone but I think it goes back to how relaxed Chelsea is and easy to work with so that we felt like we were hanging out with each other able to reflect on the day a little, it felt like an unexpected little reprieve in an otherwise busy day. So far we love what we have seen of her pictures. Chelsea was our favorite vendor from the day and throughout the process and we think you could not go wrong if you chose her as your photographer.

Choosing Chelsea Proulx Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Her prices were very reasonable and she included an engagement session as part of our package. She has a true passion for photography and truly is able to capture the moment. She was more than willing to travel to NYC to do our engagement pictures in Central Park (where we got engaged). Those pictures were amazing and I knew we were in good hands for our wedding day. The day of the wedding she showed up completely prepared and with a smile on her face. Looking back at her pictures I feel like I am reliving the day as she captured all the emotions. I am so happy with her work and I couldn't believe how quickly she delivered the photos. I would highly recommend Chelsea to anyone who is looking for an amazing photographer who can truly capture the day without being obtrusive and whose passion shows in her work. From the moment my husband and I met Chelsea, we knew she was the perfect fit. Chelsea is warm and professional, and it's obvious that she loves what she does. The day we were supposed to do our engagement photos was stormy, and Chelsea proactively called us the night before to reschedule. She was flexible picking a new date and made sure we were comfortable. Chelsea has a very natural, unobtrusive style, and the result is pictures that look like how you hope everyone else sees you all the time. :) Chelsea is also super responsive to email, which is a big plus when you're wedding planning! On the day of our wedding, Chelsea was right on time and greeted me with a big hug. She was actually getting over the flu, but you would never know it! She had boundless energy all day and my friends and family loved working with her. Chelsea kept me calm going into first look pictures and good-naturedly held my bouquet whenever I had to get on or off the shuttle driving us around! Chelsea is one of a kind. She was the only photographer we met with and we didn't need to search further. She is so sweet, down to earth, makes you feel instantly comfortable while working with you, organized, responsive, and above all- insanely talented. Our engagement photo shoot had to be rescheduled due to April snow (!!) and Chelsea was flexible, accommodating, and calmed my crazy bride stress moments with ease and kindness. We adore our photos from that session. Fast forward to one week ago for our wedding- Chelsea came early to check out what locations she thought would work best for photos and then found me getting ready and got to work. My friends and family commented on how wonderful she was from the very beginning. We just got our preview photos (which she did SO fast) and cannot wait to see the rest in a few weeks. I cannot stop looking at them I love them so much. She captures the most beautiful moments in a creative and natural way. We cannot recommend Chelsea enough. You will not be disappointed !! Working with Chelsea for our engagement/wedding was a dream. We hired her very early on in our 20 month engagement period and from the minute we sent an inquiry form up until 6 weeks past the wedding, she has been nothing been responsive, friendly, flexible, and very responsive. We were referred to Chelsea through relatives who used her for their pictures and we continue to joke that a referral for her was the best wedding present we received. Chelsea had a soft-spoken way of making us feel comfortable and confident. Through our e-mails, Chelsea knew that I was extremely anxious about the day-of timeline since I was trying to pack in a lot of things at several different locations in what seemed to be a short amount of time. She was very helpful in offering feedback and helping me to create the day-of timeline. She was also really great about keeping us on schedule and making sure that we got all of the shots we had asked for in the questionnaire she had us fill out a few months before the wedding. We had some logistical changes come about the week before the wedding and it made us feel comfortable knowing that Chelsea was so responsive in her communication with us that we knew she wouldn't miss a beat despite the last minute change. We hope to use Chelsea again in the future for an anniversary shoot or family photos!

Chelsea was amazing! Not only are her photos amazing, but she took care of everything the day of the wedding! Chelsea was so great for both our wedding engagement and big day photos! We were horribly late for our engagement session and she still took the time to get in as many shots as possible which was so appreciated! For our wedding day, we had a very large wedding party and group of friends and family which made corralling us for photos quite a challenge. But, she did successfully and our photos were gorgeous. In a word: fantastic. Chelsea was everything we could have asked for in a photographer. My now-husband and I weren't sure how a "traditional" photography session would fit with our fairly non-traditional wedding -- no bridal party, no cake cutting, etc. -- but Chelsea went above and beyond to customize the photography package to fit our needs. She had no reservations about driving all the way up to the New Hampshire coast for our (complimentary) engagement session and then hiking back up to the Granite State for the wedding itself. We were continuously impressed by her creativity and, most importantly, her ability to make people who aren't naturals in front of the camera feel completely at ease. The resulting photos of the big day came out beautifully -- Chelsea's talent and skill really shine in each of her pictures. We were so lucky that she was available to capture these memories! And, I won't spoil the surprise, but her presentation and packaging of the final DVD was above and beyond -- Chelsea really is in a class above the rest!

Chelsea was the best! I reluctantly agreed to do an Engagement shoot, albeit 2 months before the wedding, since it was included in the package and couldn't have been more pleased. It gave us an opportunity to get to know Chelsea and have Chelsea get to know us. During the shoots, Engagement and Wedding, her directions were very clear. She was very warm and genuinely happy to be a part of our day. She never showed sings of being or feeling frustrated. My favorite part was that she knew exactly what she wanted us to do and when to do it. No time was wasted, and we were able to enjoy time with our friends and family. Highly recommend Chelsea. Chelsea captured our day perfectly! She was a pleasure to work with. Not only was she organized,thorough and professional in all communications, she was also so sweet - it was very clear that she wanted you to feel comfortable and happy. My husband and I are both uneasy about picture taking, but as soon as we finished our engagement session with her, we were completely at ease. During the weeks leading up to our wedding, Chelsea helped us develop our timeline and coordinated with our vendors. She sent out a questionnaire that covered anything and everything you could think of regarding the details of your day, your family, your wedding party, the desired pictures, etc., which really helped streamline the planning process. The day of the wedding, Chelsea was incredible. She was the only photographer for our 160+ person wedding, but she seemed to be everywhere; we do not regret our decision to go without a second shooter. Not only did Chelsea take beautiful photos, but she helped coordinate our day when a few minor issues arose. Chelsea is so talented and has such a great eye, our group pictures were done efficiently and with enough time for us to join the cocktail hour! All the pictures felt natural, not staged. We were also so grateful and so surprised at how quickly Chelsea produced a sneak peak and a blog post. Our pictures were ready to view about a month after our wedding, a week later we received a lovely gift box from her with our pictures on DVD. We highly recommend Chelsea to anyone. We could not have been happier with Chelsea. She was perfect. She was barely seen during the ceremony, but still got incredible shots. She also was very patient and accommodating for the group pictures. She is not a photographer that needs to take thousands of shots for a few good ones. I wanted to take a moment (several months too late) to recognize the exceptional job Chelsea did photographing our wedding. Chelsea is a friend of my wife's from college and both me an my wife had seen what she was capable of from her extensive portfolio, so we knew going in she would do a great job. What expectations we did have going in she blew away. She asked the right questions, she got a feel for what we were looking for and ran with it. We could not of been happier with the results. She got all the shots we wanted and more. She was so subtle and organized that we never noticed her taking most of the pictures. Both of our families have voiced how impressed they were with her work. To say that Chelsea exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. We could not be happier with how our photography package came out and we still, to this day, get compliments on how fantastic our photographer was. Before our wedding day, Chelsea provided us with a questionnaire asking us specific questions on how we wanted certain things done and asked if we had any special requests. This was a great starting off point for her to understand what our vision was and it gave her an opportunity to tell us what she can do to help us achieve that vision. She was so helpful during our wedding day figuring out the details with our DJ and with the onsite wedding coordinator. She even helped all the groomsmen put their boutonnieres on their jackets! During the ceremony and reception, She was able to capture every angle imaginable while being stealthy and barely noticeable. If she had a question for us during the reception, she would very discretely ask us and then disappear into the crowd. She was so discrete, we even had a guest ask us why we chose not to have a photographer!

A few weeks after the wedding, we received a lovely package from Chelsea containing a hand written thank you note and a special doggy treat for our pup. The package also contained information on how to view our wedding photos online. The turnaround time was quick and the pictures came out amazing.

I would recommend Chelsea for any event where photography is needed. She did an outstanding job and we could not be more thankful for the service she provided.

Chelsea was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with! Chelsea is fun, easy going, and knows how to handle the crowd when things need to get done (or when crazy families like ours need to be reeled in). Chelsea was always very responsive and open to all suggestions that we had. After our wedding, we had family members comment on how great Chelsea was. They were highly impressed with how Chelsea was so fun and friendly but still very professional at the same time.

Chelsea's work is absolutely breath taking. We could not have asked for better pictures. Weddings days come and go so fast but these priceless pictures will last forever! I can't help but look through our pictures often. I feel like it's our wedding day all over again.

We contacted Chelsea about a year and a half in advance of our wedding date. She was more than willing to sign a very professional and clear contract with us a year prior to the event. This was a huge relief as you get into the trenches of wedding planning. We knew Chelsea was going to be there for us.

On the day of the event, Chelsea was punctual and very focused on the task at hand. Photography is a huge part of weddings these days and Chelsea was alert, responsive and thinking three steps ahead of us. During the entire day she was upbeat and positive, reassuring us that everything was going smoothly. She was comfortable with all of her equipment, logistics and taking charge when necessary. She was great in pulling together family members for group photographs (which is not an easy task)!

We received all of the photos VERY quickly after the event and we are so happy with the results! Chelsea captured moments we don't ever want to forget. Thank you Chels!

AMAZING!! Our wedding pictures are more beautiful and dreamy than we could have imagined, and we also walked away with a breath-taking engagement session that will always remind us of how we were when we fell in love and the places that we cherish the most. I highly highly recommend Chelsea Proulx Photography. She did an amazing job on our engagement and wedding photos. I could not have been happier with Chelsea's services from the start- we booked her about a year and a half in advance (first thing I did!) because my coworkers had used her for weddings/kid's photos and raved about her! The wedding planning was a breeze- she gave us a great questionnaire to get all the important questions answered way before the day of- things that you could miss on your own!

Most importantly, the day of the wedding, she was amazing. She gets the photos she wants without being "in the way"- she has a very natural way about taking pictures that put everyone at ease. I loved having her with us for the day- she was a great addition to the bridal party as we drove around taking photos around Boston. The pictures are just amazing as well- I am so happy with the way they turned out and can't wait to see more. :)

We cannot say enough about how wonderful Chelsea and her photography are!! We knew that Chelsea would be a great match for us after she turned what could have been an awkward round of engagement photos into a super fun and creative shoot. Her energy and organization made our formal wedding photos fly by and she managed to capture so many beautiful shots of all the little details. The natural candid shots and breathtaking formals had us laughing and reliving the day all over again - as did our friends and family!

Chelsea photographed my daughter's Bat Mitzvah on Martha's Vineyard and the pictures are gorgeous. She was super organized and made sure that all of the pictures we wanted taken were done. She even took some great pictures of sights around the island and included them for us, which make a great addition to the photo book. I would highly recommend her for any type of event that you need an amazing photographer! She continues to do our family portraits each year as well!

I had a wonderful experience working with Chelsea - not only does she have an inspired and practiced eye for beautiful shots, but her energy and enthusiasm are infectious. Posing for what felt like innumerable photos with family just after our ceremony could have felt like a chore, but because of her organization and efficiency (and that energy!), we enjoyed ourselves a great deal.

Chelsea has been such a joy to work with. We had Chelsea photograph our engagement photos and our wedding. Both times we were extremely happy with the quality of the photos and we continually receive compliments from friends and family on her beautiful photos.

For our wedding, Chelsea went above and beyond anything we could have expected from a photographer. She was great at directing our wedding party while we took formal pictures and made sure that everything ran smoothly. During the wedding reception, Chelsea put together a slide show on her computer to display a sneak peak of our wedding photos for our guests to see. Everyone absolutely loved getting a chance seeing the photos from that day.

I would highly recommend Chelsea as a photographer. I hope to use her services again in the future for family portraits or other special events.

Chelsea was amazing! She was so great and got all the pictures we wanted. The pictures turned out fabulous too. She came while I was still getting my makeup done so she went off and did the detail pictures. She snapped a bunch of us getting ready too which was great. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Chelsea was such a breath of fresh air. Neither my fiance or I are particularly fond of having our picture taken and definitely didn't want a bunch of cheesy poses. Chelsea was supper easy going and it was easy to be natural with her. We didn't feel like we were forcing unnatural poses and smiles :)
