  Food was Delicious!

  Catering was something let my now husband decide on for our wedding. We were deciding on more traditional hawaiian food or chef elmer. The traditional hawaiian food would've been cheaper but Chef Elmer was so personable and kind that we decided to go with him- also his food is phenomenal! So worth it! Food was something I was most concerned about for our wedding as I know that's something that your guests remember so I wanted to make sure it was great! We got a lot of good feedback from our guests and couldn't be happier!

  Catering was something let my now husband decide on for our wedding. We were deciding on more traditional hawaiian food or chef elmer.   Chef Elmer is the best! His food is amazing and he even customized our menu options based on our taste and budget. What he was able to create was more then we could have ever imagined. I was able to do a tasting with my family at one of his restaurant locations, poke stop in Mililani (which by the way has amazing food as well! Absolutely love that place) and he and his staff were so nice and accommodating. Great experience working with him. At the wedding all of our guest were in love with the food and couldn't stop talking about it! We used not only his food service but his bar service as well and they were all so kind and professional. They made our specialty drinks perfectly based on the recipes we provided them and they were even careful not to open and waste alcohol bottles for our open bar so that we could return the unused bottles to Costco which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!!!!! (food and drinks not pictured below : garlic mash potatoes, salad w/ papaya dressing and the beef sliders w/ tomato bacon jam on taro bun, chili mango margarita and dark & stormy)

  So delicious! I'm so glad we went with Chef Elmer. Tristin (THE best communicator) made the planning process so easy. We had passed appetizers, a buffet, and a little dessert while we waited for our cake to be cut. Everyone loved the food! I highly recommend Chef Elmer Guzman's Island Cuisine!

  we chose chef elmer to cater our wedding at sunset ranch. the waitstaff was super sweet & the service was top notch. they even made bride and groom little to go boxes which was perfect since I didn't really eat during the reception and was thankful to have some food post wedding:)

  Food, one of the largest aspects of the reception (in our mind). We had food allergies that were taken care of without issue. We were indecisive on our menu, and Tristin was very accommodating with our changes and requests. We went with a buffet and passed appetizers. All the food looked amazing (presentation for the appetizers was top notch!!) and tasted great too. All the guests loved the food. The fry bar was also a big hit! We had musubi as our parting gifts which were awesome- individually wrapped and delish!
  We were hesitant not being able to do a tasting, but based on calls with Tristin and descriptions of the food and knowing the ingredients, we were very happy with our choices.

  I wish I could get married everyday just so I could eat this food!! We were having a small wedding with 12 people total and Tristin worked with us to figure out the best option, which ended up being delivery. The food was AMAZING and we had so many compliments! We ended up having way more food than we could eat, even though we ate it the rest of our trip and we ended up donating it to a local homeless shelter, I hope they enjoyed it just as much!

  Our communication with Tristin was always prompt and helpful...
  we had them cater a plated meal for our wedding.
  The food was incredible...and our guests were very pleased with everything.
  The plates were visually appealing as well as the taste.
  The servers were so polite and friendly. .we really had fun .
  My nephew at the last minute changed his meal after he saw another boys...lol
  And the chefs just said no problem and he had his spaghetti! !
  We were very pleased with the menu.
  We will try put the Poke stop next time in Hawaii.

  We had the opportunity to work with Tristin and staff at Chef Elmer catering and had a great experience! Tristin was very helpful and responsive with all of our questions and suggested options to help us save some money here and there. We did a tasting in Mililani and loved all the food. They were so attentive to all the tables and kept making sure my husband and I were taken care of. Thank you guys for the great food and service! It made our night.

  Chef Elmer Island Cuisine (also the owner of Poke Stop) catered our wedding at Lanikuhonua. We chose various stations, verses a buffet, which included live chef's, wait staff, and a bartender. Out of everything from our wedding, the food was what we received the most compliments on BY FAR. Every person that attended our wedding went out of their way to tell us how delicious the food was.
  
  Our stations included a seafood station (assorted pokes, oysters, parfaitini, seared ahi rolls etc.), prime rib carving station, kalua pig/rice/baby bock choy station, pasta station (shrimp scampi pasta and creamy mushroom pasta with truffle oil essence), bacon and brussel sprouts/fingerling potatoes with parmesan station, and last but not least a MALASADA STATION (a huge hit by the way)! Another benefit with using Chef Elmer, was their flexibility. They offered a variety of station options but also allowed us to substitute and/or add certain dishes to each station. We weren't stuck with a set menu.
  
  The wait staff also hand passed plantation iced tea and water with lemon as guests arrived at the ceremony, served tasty appetizers during cocktail hour, and personally waited on the groom and me at our sweetheart table. They went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I were comfortable, they even had a waiter follow us during our extremely long photo session with drinks and snacks to make sure we didn't pass out (it was pretty hot)! They were lifesavers. The wait staff and bartender were true pro's.
  
  Every station was incredible, my guests told me they had 2nd, 3rd, and 4th helpings! Some people were so stuffed they couldn't even move! All of my guests were able to sip a few delicious cocktails, eat some incredible food, and stare off into the sun setting over Lanikuhonua's beach. What more could you ask for, it was incredible! Thank you Chef Elmer!

  We had our wedding catered by Chef Elmer. Best decision ever! Not only was the food great (we got a lot of compliments), the staff was friendly and helpful. The staff worked like busy bees before the event all the way through the end. They helped set up our center pieces, decorations, flower arrangements, just about everything! They were also spot on with bringing around the apps as well as refilling waters. They looked and acted very professionally. They really held the event together. Thanks chef Elmer!

  Chef Guzman and his staff were very professional and the food was amazing! For an outdoor, under the stars wedding the food was a perfect fit. All my guests were delighted at how great the food was! Their staff was polite and friendly and on time. They took care of everything and made things extremely easy on me.   We catered a buffet dinner through Chef Elmer's Island Cuisine (the fancy, catering side of Poke Stop) and couldn't have been happier with the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. We used the set-price menu through our venue Sunset Ranch Hawaii, and we were really pleased with the value we received because of their established partnership.
  
  We went for a tasting at Poke Stop when my mom came to visit about eight months prior to the wedding. The food was delicious and Chef Elmer was there to talk about the different things on the menu. Flexibility wasn't a problem when we asked for something on the side or a different salad dressing, etc.
  
  The operations manager Tristin was very responsive throughout the whole wedding planning process, and she worked well with our wedding coordinator clearing up the details. Our guest count went up by about 20 people just in the last month prior to the wedding, because of this the cost of catering went above our budget, though we were able to save some by bringing some things on our own (i.e. ice tea, lemons, condiments from Costco, etc). We didn't anticipate needing to hire wait staff (which also drives up the cost), but it really was wonderful not needing to assign a friend to help fill up the water/tea dispensers, clear dishes, etc. We're a pretty low-maintenance no-frills couple, but having catering staff pass out appetizers during cocktail hour and fill up water glasses? Fantastic.
  
  And since catering=food, may as well add, the food tasted great (we were fortunate to be able to sit down and eat for a few minutes during the reception) and our guests said nothing but good things!
