Wonderful traditional wedding cake!

Gail was an absolute pleasure to work with! Everything was perfect -- from the initial meeting and cake tasting to the fabulous finished product. Use Cheesecake Etc. for your wedding cake!

I used Cheesecake Etc. for my recent weeding. Our wedding cake was above all my expectations! Gail was great to work with, and make the wedding cake process easy! We had no worries when we left our cake tasting, and Gail handled everything from there. She was very considerate with our budget and worked through my theme and colors of our wedding to come up with a cake design that fit our wedding perfectly, as I had no idea what I wanted! Oh...and the cake was delicious!!!! We highly recommend Cheesecake Etc.

The cake tasted incredible!

Gail was such a joy to work with! She was timely, organized, professional, and kind. Our cake was designed exactly how we requested and it tasted AMAZING! Our guests gave multiple compliments on how moist and delicious the cake was! Everyone was so impressed. We could not have been happier!

Absolutely Fantastic and Delicious

When my husband and I were planning our wedding we knew the cake was going to be one of our favorite decisions to make but we didn’t know where to start. Cheesecake Etc. was recommended to us by our venue and we couldn’t have been happier! The cake was gorgeous and absolutely delicious! We had 5 tiers on our cake and each was a different flavor! When we went for our first tasting everything was so delicious we couldn’t just choose one flavor! Gail was so great in letting us kind of run wild! My husband and I love chocolate icing which isn’t a typical wedding cake look but she made our bottom tier with chocolate icing and it looked absolutely beautiful! She is truly an artist with her cakes both in the flavors and the decorations! We have been recommending Gail and Cheesecake Etc. to everyone we know! Gail was so professional and fantastic to work with! All of our guests were telling us how delicious our cake was and how they have never seen a cake with so many options! There was a tier and flavor for everyone!

Amazing at what she does

Met with Gail for our cake tasting and she was so laid back and easy to work with! My husband isn’t a big cake person and even he cleaned his plate of options! Her frosting is out of this world. On the day of our wedding, everything was delivered promptly and the guests said the cake was delicious! We didn’t get a chance to eat any at our wedding but had some the next day and it was perfect! We cant thank Gail enough for everything she did.

gone by the end of the night (except our top). I had some family and friends calling me days after asking did I have any more cake left! Now that’s a good cake😋

Amazingly Delicious

Cheesecake Etc. was a joy to work with. Gail is very talented at what she does and makes sure that each cake she designs is unique. I have been to several weddings but our cake was by far the best tasting cake I have ever had. My now husband almost finished the top layer by himself!!!

Delicious and Beautiful Cakes

Gail was the easiest vendor to work with! Her experience and models in her bakeshop allowed me to visualize my entire cake before I left! She even checked in on me a few weeks before the wedding to confirm head count and insure I had not had a change of heart in cake flavors. Speaking of flavors all were delicious! I cannot wait to eat the tier that we saved!

Wonderful Experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Cheesecake Etc.! My wedding cake was exactly how I had envisioned it to be. Cheesecake Etc. also made a grooms cake for my husband. I sent them the picture of what I had in mind and it came out perfectly! The cake flavors are also very delicious! I would definitely recommend!

Gail made the most perfect cake for my wedding! Her gold foil technique she used was just beautiful...not to mention how amazingly delicious it was! I've been a wedding photographer for 10 years and have tasted many cakes but hers have always tasted the best! Ours was vanilla and strawberry...so good! Thank you Gail. I could write a book about my happiness with Cheesecake Etc! From the initial consultation until the unveiling with a breeze. We are still receiving so many comments about how great the cake tasted. My cake, the day of my wedding (07/01/17), was gorgeous - it was exactly what I envisioned. It tasted even better than it looked. I deliberately waited until our first anniversary to write a review because I wondered how the topper would hold up. Of course, it doesn’t taste like it tasted the day of our wedding but it’s beautiful and tastes better than anything I could have bought to mark this beautiful occasion. Working with Gail was so easy and the result was not only beautiful, but tasted amazing! We had several tastings around Charlotte, and hands down, Cheesecakes, etc. had the best tasting cake. We had an almond cake with chocolate ganache and hazelnut filling. We did not need fondant, she worked wonders with the buttercream, which tasted heavenly. I would recommend Gail over and over again!

Ms. Gail is perfection! I knew the moment that I tasted that first morsel of cake that she was the perfect choice for our wedding cake. The cream cheese icing and strawberry filling is a combination made in heaven! I was impressed with the entire experience and things could not have gone smoother. Gail made the best cake for our wedding! Every part of it was amazing. We selected vanilla pound cake with lemon curd filling and buttercream icing and all of it tasted fabulous. We had a cascade of sugar flowers that were so life-like they fooled some of the guests. Throughout the whole process Gail was very attentive to making sure she gave us the exact cake we envisioned. From the amount of lemon in filling to the decoration of the buttercream to the color of the sugar flowers. The final result was better than we could have imagined.

Amazing!!!!! Gail created a groomsmen cake of our dog that was such a talking point all night. For our wedding she made the most amazing cake along with cheesecake and cannolis. She delivered it and picked up other dessert for us on the way. Crazy not to use her.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw our wedding cake. It was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Gail outdid herself, and she was an absolute joy to work with!! She responds to emails in minutes and is a true artist. We brought some pictures of cake designs to the tasting session, and she was able to sketch out a gorgeous, unique cake that looked better than anything we had envisioned. I have been showing the sketch to all of my friends for months, and it was an absolute show-stopper in person! And it tasted better than any of us could have hoped--it was GONE in minutes. I saw some people going up for 3rds! Thank you so much, Gail, for giving us the cake of our dreams <3

Gail is absolutely amazing!! I gave her a vision of what I wanted our wedding cake to look like, I changed it 3 times, and she still made it perfectly! Not only was our cake gorgeous, but it tasted amazing. All of our guests commented on this too. We also asked for a small paw print on the back for our dog, and not only did she make this happen, but without even specifying, she put it on the top layer since this is the one we kept. Don't look any further, Gail can make you the perfect wedding cake out of any vision you have and make you the best tasting wedding cake you have ever had.

We had a wonderful experience with Cheesecake Etc.! Gail was so easy to work with, and the cake tasted absolutely delicious! Gail took the time to go over each detail with us, sketch us a picture of what to expect, recommended our very, reasonably-priced florist, and worked well with our florist to ensure that our flowers would be decorated around our cake. We were extremely happy with the presentation and artistic design of the cake. We had many compliments on how good the cake was, and we agreed! It was fantastic. Gail did an amazing job, and we couldn't have been happier.

Gail (the mastermind between Cheesecakes, Etc) is incredibly talented and was so easy to work with. The cake was BEAUTIFUL and tasted so good! I have alternating layers of almond cake with raspberry filling and vanilla cake with lemon filling. My guests raved about the cake - both it's appearance and deliciousness. Gail was easy to work with. From setting up the tasting to talking through what I was looking for and what Gail could do, I felt confident throughout the process that the cake would be fabulous... and it was! Finally, her pricing was better than some of the other options I looked at... an added bonus. You will have the cake of your dreams if you choose Cheesecakes, Etc. I cannot recommend Gail enough!

We highly recommend Cheesecake Etc.! Gail recently did our wedding case and man oh man did she exceed our expectations!!!!! We were worried there would be allot of leftovers but people liked it so much they went back for seconds and some for thirds which I've never seen at a wedding before. Not only did the cake taste good but it was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Gail. Our 8 year old son came along to the tasting with us which I was a little worried about given his limited attention span but Gail had a place set at the table for him as well and he provided input right along with us. It was nice to have him involved and he felt so proud to be helping :-). The cake arrived in plenty of time the day of the wedding and Gail was happy to let us use one of her cake stands. It all looked so beautiful when setup!

Gail made a beautiful wedding cake for us for our wedding in July 2017. From the start, Gail provided great service and designed a wedding cake that was perfect for our vision... wet elegant. Seeing pictures and designs of pervious cakes she's done... Gail is truly gifted and an amazing designer. The cake flavors we chose were absolutely wonderful and very yummy! Some designers/bakers can do wonderful designs while the cake itself is not good.. but Gail nailed it all!! She was very responsive and timely in delivering and setting up for our reception. The cake was so beautiful, I didn't want to cut the cake! I will definitely plan to use Gail again for future special occasions. Everyone raved about the cake at our reception. I've had quite a few people inquiring about "who did our cake"?! I would highly recommend Gail to future brides and for those who are looking for great quality... beautifully designed.. yummy, delicious cake for whatever occasion!!

I loved my cake , it was not only beautiful but it taste freshly baked. Cheesecake etc (Gale) was so professional. Very inviting from the time I did my tasting until it was time for her to deliver. I didn't do much communication but the delivery was everything I wanted.

I have been to over 12 weddings in the past 20 years and never tasted a good cake. Gail is the best! Cake was moist and delicious! I am originally from Long Island so I had to have some cannoli's as well. They were just like I remembered when I was living in NY. You must at least go to a tasting...Enjoy

Gail's cake was delicious, but you can taste for yourself at a complimentary tasting that she provides. Email her a picture and let her know your budget - she will take care of the rest. As my mother-in-law so eloquently stated...SHE PUT HER FOOT IN THAT CAKE! For those who are not familiar with that phrase it means that was was super duper delicious, awesome, great, fantastic, amazing!!! The experience was flawless. We communicated by email, and set a date for a tasting. The cake tasting was my husbands favorite appointment. We decided on having a cake with two flavors almond and red velvet. I showed Gail a picture of what I would like the cake to look like. She sketched it out on a piece of paper, and low and behold the cake looked like what I imagined it to be on the wedding day....BEAUTIFUL & TASTY!!! Gail definitely did not disappoint. The cake was so good that we have already eaten what was supposed to be saved for the one year anniversary. So, when our anniversary comes around next year we will call Gail and ask her to make us a small cake. Gail you are simply the best!!! XOXO K&J

Amazing cake! The taste and quality is great. The cost is also really good considering most design elements are included. The cake tasting was free and we were able to sample several cakes and fillings. Gail is easy to work with and the delivery and set up of the cake looked amazing during our wedding.

Gail was amazing! From the very beginning when I contacted her to hear more about her appointments to setting up the tasting and then having the tasting( her cakes were amazing and we knew we wanted to use her!) She has wonderful ideas and is very affordable for what you get. She was helpful and there when I needed her and my cake topper broke about 2 weeks before the wedding, I brought it to her and she fixed it for me. You won't be disappointed going with Gail!! We can't wait til our 1 year anniversary to have our cake again!!

We used Gail for our Wedding Cake, along with the Groom's Cake for the rehearsal dinner (with her amazing Cannoli on the side!) As I expected, Gail did a phenomenal job executing our vision for both cakes. We were thrilled with the way everything turned out and would HIGHLY recommend Cheesecake, Etc!

Gail made the absolute BEST wedding cake that I have ever tasted (and not just because it was mine). It was so good that I couldn't get our caking cutting photo right because I was too busy eating the cake! (LOL) But aside from the phenomenal taste, Gail made the entire experience absolutely amazing. My husband and I live in California and got married back home (in NC) so there was lots of planning and coordination from afar. Gail was super flexible and accommodating with my schedule and even worked with my friend who was my stand-in taster. Gail was able to match my "vision" and colors all over email. And meeting her in person, she's just as wonderful. If you are undecided, look no further. Cheesecake Etc is where you need to be!

Gail was so easy to work with and we were very happy with the end result. She was very receptive to what we wanted and helped make it even better. She was very clear in her pricing. Prices are quite seemingly quite reasonable for the wedding cake industry and there weren't any hidden costs. We were very pleased with the process! Would work with Gail again!
