Excellent!
It is a beautiful venue and the owners are great to work with. The process was stress free as they provided several services that made the process smooth. The caterer who works with them and their staff were all wonderful. The food and service was great! They set up and clean up everything except the decorations you bring. It isn’t a necessity to have an overload of decorations as the bare bones of the venue is stunning. I have kids and had several kids at my wedding, they were laid back with the kids playing making it easy for me to relax. They have a bar that has all you need, you only need to bring the alcohol and certified bar tenders. The bridal suite is a perfect place to get ready and many good photo opportunities there. We also rented the house they own that had several separate bedrooms that lock and a common area for all. This was perfect for family to stay as it was only two doors down. It also provided the perfect place for the groom to get ready. Being it is close, the photographer also has the benefit of less travel time to get from one place to the other for getting ready photos. Also it is another perfect photograph opportunity in the house. The ceremony was held upstairs and the reception was downstairs making travel a non issue. There is an elevator for people who struggle with steps to easily access the second floor. They also record your ceremony and first dances that are then emailed to you or those loved ones who cannot make it to your special day. You have the opportunity to buy the video on a dvd if you wish, the link emailed to you/guests is active for a period of time. If you want low levels of stress on your big day, Chateau d’Argy is your place. -

I will start by saying that we were a COVID-19 couple. Our original date was set for 6/13/20; however, we chose to postpone for family reasons. Kari was so accommodating when we reached out to postpone. We had no issues, they simply worked with us to find a new date and we were good to go, Fast forward to our new wedding date 4/24/21, it was the wedding of our dreams. Kari made sure everything was set up and taken care of the days leading up to the wedding and during our wedding day. The venue is simply stunning in itself, and it’s so convenient for guests. If you choose to have your ceremony on site, it’s held on the 2nd floor where the beautiful bridal suite is located. If you have handicapped guests, no need to worry - there is an elevator in case guests cannot use the beautiful wooden stairs. The reception is held on the 1st floor. The meal was absolutely delicious and the servers did a wonderful job. The Chateau d’Argy truly knows how to throw a beautiful wedding without any hiccups. This venue is also located near I-80, making travel easy and conveniently located to several different towns for hotel stays or even cabin rentals in the Cooks Forest area. We rented the G.B. Carrier House next door to the venue that Kari, also is in charge of. This was great for our bridal party to stay and the groomsmen got ready here. I only have wonderful things to say about this venue! Book here!! -

We had an absolutely amazing experience with the Chateau d’Argy from the first moment we met with them. Kari and Patty were always very helpful and quick in answering questions whenever they arose and managed to help keep our anxiety low through the whole process. The days leading up to the wedding nothing was left up to chance and they coordinated with our outside vendors making things even easier for us. When we had our rehearsal Kari was there so she knew everything that would be happening the next day and on our wedding day they had everything ready in the bridal suite so we didn’t need to worry about anything. During the ceremony and reception they were able to keep things moving and pretty much exactly on schedule when things started running over. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an amazing wedding experience. -

Choosing Chateau d'Argy was the best decision I made for my wedding. Kari and Jacob went above and beyond to make my wedding the best ever. With this being a fairly new venue, you would never be able to tell! They were so organized, easy to reach and answered all of my questions with ease. They were super flexible with things I had requested and it was really a pleasure to work with them.
The catering team that also works with them were phenomenal! Seriously, I have never had more compliments about the venue and the food about a wedding before. They have a pretty wide variety when it came to choosing a menu. The staff was also quick and very polite.
We had over 300 guests that attended my wedding and when we realized the night before we needed another table, the staff quickly set one up as if it stood there the entire time. The building is so large and spacious, it was easy to navigate through people and tables. No one felt crowded at all. I also was in a few weeks before my wedding when they were setting up for a baby shower and optimized the space for that as well. So large or small, they got your events covered!
The Bridal suite that is upstairs IS AMAZING! My photographer had a field day taking pictures with all the victorian furniture upstairs along with the natural lighting that we had from all the windows. It had all the accommodations for my wedding party and the day of, myself and my girls got dressed there before the ceremony up town. We were able to leave all of our belongings in the room with no worry at all. All the beautiful details of the building made decorating that much easier for me.
I never though that I would be able to get married in my hometown but thanks to Chateau d'Argy- they made that a reality for me. I really can't say how appreciative I am that I got to have my wedding there. From beginning to end, everything was perfect.
