    Would give more stars if I could

    I had the most amazing experience at Chantal’s with Deena. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful, and encouraged me to try on a dress I would not have initially chosen which I said yes to! I ended up going to a second shop and all I could think about was the dress Deena had chosen. Huge thank you to Deena and Chantal’s for making me feel like a bride!

    My wedding dress dream

    I have no complaints at all for my day at chantals.
    We were instantly greeted as we walked in and I instantly felt comfortable and my nerves subsided.
    We were introduced to our consultant and right aways started looking at and picking out dresses.
    So many dresses to choose from and the perfect amount of time.
    I have to say, my consultant Jenna absolutely killed it. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She figured out what I liked and what suited me best and made sure I had plenty of dresses waiting for me to try on.
    She made me feel very special and I am so thankful for her.

    Went to Chantal's to find a graduation dress for my daughter. She had been other places where the service was not good. At Chantal's she found an absolutely gorgeous dress and received excellent service. We are very pleased with the service we had at Chantal's.

    They were awesome!! I had a fluke day off and was able to get an appointment for the afternoon. I threw out some ideas and told Kelly about my wedding and she was able to bring me such a wide array of dresses that it was impossible to NOT find a dress I liked. As it was I liked 2 and actually had to choose.

    Please note that I am very picky. I had gone to David's Bridal previously and not found anything remotely close to something I could see myself wearing on my wedding day.

    I was gonna get a vintage dress and have it remade to be like poofy and fun. My mom and I were headed to the seamstress and walked by Chantal's. A friend of mine got her dress there, and I was supposed to get a brides maid dress there. My mom and I decided to stop in and just look at the brides maids dresses. The woman there asked me to try on a couple dresses and I was all "No, I don't like beading...No, no bling for me..."

    She then went to the basement and pulled up this ball of fabric. She said it had just came in and hadn't even been tagged yet. She told my mom to put it on me and us both to close our eyes...By the time it was zipped up my mom was crying and I was completely red in the face.
    It was already my size, and waaaay below my budget. It was just way too perfect.

    They were very accommodating considering we had just shown up on the wedding show weekend (BUSY place). When we showed up at Chantal’s and explained our recent loss in family, they were more than happy to help and accommodate! Within an hour I had my perfect dress! They listened, provided options based on my body type, and were very supportive and helpful with my decision. I also loved that they were not pushy.

    Really enjoyed dealing with the staff, felt like they wanted what was best for you and you weren't treated like "just another appointment". Really enjoyed my experience!

    Purchased our bridesmaid dresses here. Dresses were beautiful and prices were reasonable. It was alterations that changed my view of Chantal's. Unfortunately, one of my bridesmaids dresses was ordered one size to small. 3 of my 4 girls needed alterations and were quoted half to more than the original price of the dress for very little altering. We decided to take our dresses elsewhere. Quite glad I did not purchase my wedding dress there due to the price of alterations!

    No good after purchase

    They are only nice to you until they have your purchase and then it is all down hill. You will be pushed aside for new customers who they are trying to sell to. I waited 45 minutes to get a fitting room for my bridal dress fitting because they were filling the bridal rooms with grads and once I did get in, It was on “the gead side” and I was forced to stand off to the side to get my fitting with their seamstress out of view of the mirror so the grads could have their mirror space. I didn’t see myself properly in a mirror until my second fitting where I found the breast cups to Be completely uneven. The seamstress then informed me that I should have mentioned something at the first fitting and that they could not be evened out at this point. but how could I say something when I could not see myself in the mirror long enough to catch it. The manager told me It was grad season. I guess that’s more important than brides who choose to get married in the winter months.

    Horrible experience

    I went wedding dress shopping here and found “the one” and was told THREE separate times that this dress could be strapless.
    Once going in with my parents for the FOURTH time, I was told by the owner/general manager that the dress was not able to be strapless and would need to keep the original straps. She basically said if I didn’t like the straps, it was not my dress (they were terrible hence, why I wanted to change them).
    So! I found another dress and requested they order lace to do the dress similar to the first one with the lace details. Once the dress came in and it was altered, it was not at all like I requested because they didn’t order enough of the lace.
    When approached why I was told three times that I could have it strapless and then that retracted (likely because the second dress picked was much more expensive), the owner actually argued/raised her voice to me in front of customers. Both managers I dealt with actually lied to me - and given that I had four witnesses to everything, they outright said my witnesses would be lying.
    The alterations ended up costing 1200!!!!!! I was shocked.
    Honestly, the only saving grace for Chantal’s was the seamstress - she’s the only reason I was happy on my wedding day. Besides her, Chantal’s completely ruined my wedding dress experience.
    I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there because they wouldn’t even cut me a deal even though we spent 5000 at their store.
    I’m not one to do a bad review but I have to!
    Good luck to all the brides shopping! Beware of Chantal’s though 😘

    Big thumbs down! My daughters grad dress was shipped from China damaged.The store called me to pick up the dress, on arrival I was told to check the dress before I signed for it; good thing because the dress was damaged.One would expect that when you purchase a product from a " specialty store" that they would check the dress before pick up from the customer as to not waste the customers a time.We went through the dress and pinned most of the flaws, the manager told me " we will check it with a fine tooth comb"; I was told they would fix all the flaws; when I returned the dress was still damaged and not fixed. No refund or exchange policy. The store manager minimized the issue citing it wasn't a $3000 dollar dress. We paid almost $600 dollars for this dress, for some folks this isn't just spare change. The manager dare not acknowledge my frustration given I had now wasted my time returning to the store a second time to pick up a damaged dress. I was told It was too late to order a new one. You really are kinda stuck at the mercy of the store; you either have no choice but to have them attempt to fix the flaws or you go with out nothing - you cant order a new one, there is a no refund or exchange policy. Lets not forget that the store manage ever so inappropriately referred to me as "sweetie".Terms of endearment are not appropriate and not professional! In my opinion the employees at this store need a course in communication and customer service. Isn't that why we pay && at the " specialty store"; Oh thats right..I didn't spend $300 dollars so Im not as important as the customer who did. I do not recommend this store to anyone interested in buying a grad dress or bridal dress.

    My husband and I did a vow renewal and I chose to go with Chantal’s Bridal since I found a dress I had liked there. Everything was fine until it came time for the alterations. All I can say is they completely ruined the dress in the bust area. The dress had been fine in the bust when I first purchased it and they were only supposed to let out the hips a bit. Instead they let out the entire bodice. They charged me over $500 for the alterations and never did fully fix the problem. I was constantly pressured to just leave the dress in it's terrible state and not require them to correct it. Even after 4 fittings and 3 seamstresses working on it they could not correct what they had done to the bust of the dress. They basically took the cups in the bust out and made it look like I was completely flat chested! I am a size D cup! I was not at all happy with the end result and ended up having to spend the day before our vow renewal swinging one of my own bras into the dress myself, just to try and make it look half way presentable! I still cringe when I see the way the dress fit in any of our photos. I DO NOT recommend this place at all!!

    We bought Grad dress October I was checking out the front the lady's that was looking at the back I was trusting that she would have told me there was two holes in the back !! We pulled out the grad dress After we purchased the shoes We had seamstress here with to if we needed to get taken off the bottom ! In are home town I was straightening out the dress in the back that's when I noticed the two big holes In the back of the dress !!! I called the store and they said I have to drive it there and they might be able to help me We four hours Away it cost me $140 to drive there +8 hours drive and they don't even know for sure if they can fix it for me ! When I can get it fixed here for 75 but they're not willing to pay that Are my gas ! And even if I wanted to throw out $140 out the window I really don't have time I am driving to Regina three times a week because my sister is dealing with breast cancer It is in chemo right now I guess if you want to shop at a store that doesn't have a heart be my Guest but I would recommend not going there !!
