Unforgettable wedding weekend!
Steve and Mariluz are incredible. Our wedding was so carefully thought out, so perfectly planned, so elegant, and honestly so far beyond our already sky high expectations, it’s difficult to even describe how impressed we are and how grateful we feel to have had them in our corner. They are VERY good at what they do, they have relationships with high quality vendors for everything we could have wanted, and their staff were absolutely perfect, taking care of our every last need throughout the weekend. And the decor - oh my god - pictures cannot do it justice…it was jaw dropping. We cannot thank them enough for giving us even more than the wedding of our dreams.Champagne Events Mexico's reply:

Almost every guest came to tell me, this was the best wedding they had ever been to, between the flowers, the band, the food, they made sure everything was top notch. There is always an element of unknown when planning a destination wedding, but Steve, Mariluz and the team at Champagne Events ensured our wedding day was everything we’d dreamed of and more! I’m not over exaggerating when I say it far exceeded our expectations. The team extremely attentive on our wedding day, making sure everything and everyone was on schedule. It’s not easy to coordinate so many moving parts, but the entire day went seamlessly. As soon as we walked into the venue, we were awestruck. The FLORALS!!! Literally everyone at our wedding could not stop talking about how stunning the decorations were. Mariluz really brought our vision to life, taking into account every little detail during the planning phase. If you’re looking for planners to help with your destination wedding in CDMX, look no further. It was an absolute pleasure working with the team. We’re so thankful for their expertise and guidance. The team at Champagne Events exceeded all of our expectations. We had a good feeling from the moment we met them and knew they would be the perfect people to help us plan our wedding. They took the time to get to know us, answered every email, every WhatsApp and made sure the planning process was as easy as possible.
We told countless people that the best decision we made besides marrying one another was hiring MariLuz and Steve to plan our wedding.
The Champagne Events team created an unforgettable wedding WEEKEND, not just one day. They were respectful of our budget and have a total “can do” attitude. Their attention to detail was unmatched. The whole weekend we were able to fully enjoy ourselves instead of worrying about all the details. The Champagne team made us feel loved and so excited to be marrying one another with all of our people around us. Not only did they take great care Adrian and I but they also took the time to take care of our loved ones. 10/10!!
The decor was beyond my wildest dreams. The way it all came together was picture perfect. I could go on and on about the Champagne Events team but I’ll leave it at this…many people at our wedding told us that this was the best wedding they had ever been to, by FAR. This is all thanks to Champagne Events.

Steve and Mariluz were wonderful to work with. They spent an entire day driving us around to look at possible venues, and helped us make our final selection. Once we picked our venue (Gran Hotel —— which we loved!!), they handled every last detail for us — nothing was too small to merit their attention. As a distracted new mom trying to plan a wedding from another country, their assistance was invaluable. And Mariluz’s designs were so beautiful. We got compliments from all of our guests — many said it was one of the most memorable weddings they’d ever been to, and one summed it up best by saying he “felt like he was in a movie.” I would 100% recommend their services, and Mexico City in general, for a destination wedding!!Champagne Events Mexico's reply:

Champagne events, run by Mariluz and Steve, made our dream wedding come true. Our wedding had a lot of moving parts - it was about four days total with two Indian wedding days, a ceremony that mixed Muslim and Jewish traditions, followed by an incredible reception and pool party the last day. Champagne events helped us choreograph every step of this wedding, and did so even though we were very budget conscious. They helped us negotiate costs down and delivered a classy and lavish event for a reasonable cost. Mariluz and Steve are incredibly warm as well and working with them was a pleasure (we feel like we became friends!). Mariluz has an eye for design that made every event absolutely gorgeous, and Steve went above and beyond in communicating with the guests and making sure their needs were met. The team that Champagne events works with is also fantastic. They are all incredibly friendly and competent, and all collaborate behind the scenes so that everything goes smoothly during the events. It was so lovely working with them and we cannot imagine pulling off our wedding with anyone else. Highly highly recommend!Champagne Events Mexico's reply:

Real pros, made our wedding incredible
We were very impressed with Steve and Mariluz from the start after interviewing several CDMX wedding planners. They did an amazing job putting together what ended up being a 3 day celebration. Our Sunday afternoon boat ride at Xochimilco was an unexpected highlight and they really made it incredibly seamless with over 100 guests across several boats, everything from renting out the toilets on the landing to arranging food and mariachi to come on the boats. The caterer really dropped the ball for our main event but I thought they handled it pretty well all things considered.
What I particularly liked about working with Champagne Events is that they were open-minded enough to say yes to some of our out-there ideas, but also experienced enough to say "you don't want to do that" to others.Champagne Events Mexico's reply:

Where to even begin!? My husband and I were interested in a destination wedding in Mexico City. I stumbled across Champagne Events and reached out to Mariluz to learn more. Not only was she quick to respond, but she immediately understood my vision, our budget, and what we wanted. She recommended a venue and we booked it - sight unseen. From that point on Mariluz and Steve helped us plan not only the wedding but the entire wedding weekend for our guests. They were patient with our questions and solutions oriented to provide the most exceptional experience within our budget. The day of the wedding the decor far exceeded our expectations. Mariluz's design team pulled together the most incredible and beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen. The table decor was stunning. Lovedddd our wedding
After checking with a few planners, we went with Mariluz and Steve. Our wedding was seriously amazing. We were nervous that our vision wouldn’t fully come to life, but we were both stunned when we first saw our venue the day of the wedding. It was stunning and absolutely perfect!!!!! My husband and I spoke the morning after and couldn’t think of one thing we would have changed. Everyone told us it was the best wedding they’d been to and raved about the attentiveness of the waitstaff/catering Champagne recommended. Mariluz, Steve, and the Champagne Events team were so involved the day of the wedding. It made things very easy on such a big and hectic day. I already miss working with them. The Best Wedding Planners Around!
Firstly, I’m going to preface this review by saying no amount of words possible could ever convey just how blown away we were by Champagne Events - but I’m going to try anyway. Mariluz and Steve turned our wedding day into one of the best days of our entire lives.
From the planning to the budgeting process and of course the execution, Mariluz and Steve were thorough, kind and transparent about every step. Being that we lived in California, one thing I really appreciated was the list of trusted vendors that Champagne Events had at the ready: photographers, caterers, DJ and more - it was extremely helpful to know that these vendors had worked with Champagne Events before and came with a level of trust. On the day of the event, these relationships really shined through as Champagne Events seamlessly coordinated with the vendors to make all the magic happen.
During the course of planning, I had a major family tragedy that took me away from planning for many months. Mariluz and Steve not only gave me the time and space that I needed to support my family, but kept coordinating with vendors on our behalf and soliciting quotes and locking in services. During one of the busiest times of my entire life, they took the initiative we needed to ensure that we were on track with our wedding day - an additional initiative that I will always be grateful for.
Champagne Events took every idea, suggestion or wild thought we had and turned it into a reality beyond our wildest expectations. Coordinating a destination wedding is difficult, but their professionalism, bright personalities and endless creativity allowed us to feel like we were in the best hands. To top it off, Mariluz and Steve are also kind and happy people, which made the experience even better. We are forever grateful to Champagne Events for their hard work on our event, and cannot recommend their services enough.Champagne Events Mexico's reply:

Words cannot describe how incredible Marliuz and Steve are for event planning. Their professionalism and skills were beyond our expectations!
They were incredibly thoughtful of what we wanted and very respectful of our budget. They put so much detail into planning everything, from a schedule of the day's events to creating a decoration package for us to choose what we wanted. It was amazing seeing everything come together the day of the events. We told them exactly what kind of venue we were looking for, and they delivered with 6 different options. They drove us around to take us on tours, and we fell in love with 3 of them!
Not only did they plan our wedding, they also helped plan our Welcome Party for guests, they took care of the planning for decorations, drinks, food, and music. It was the perfect way to welcome guests to Mexico City as most of everyone has never been before. It got our guests excited for our wedding day!
The wedding day was beyond our expectations. The Ceremony was exactly what we wanted, and everything was absolutely perfect. They have such a good relationship with vendors. They recommended us a photographer, makeup/hair stylist, DJ, specialty bartenders, officiant, and more - every single vendor was top tier and catered to everything we wanted & needed. I definitely trust Mariluz and Steve's opinions and suggestions greatly.
Additionally, we wanted to plan a group trip of 50 people to Xochimilco a couple days after the wedding and asked Champagne Events Mexico to help us. Marluz and Steve happily did so, and it went so great. We all went down on the canal, singing, drinking, eating and having so much fun! The way they organized the trip was incredible.
Not only are Mariluz and Steve amazing, their team of assistants are incredible as well. You will realize quickly that they hire the best, and trust them greatly.
I cannot say enough how much I recommend Champage Events Mexico for your wedding planner, or any event you would like. I am so appreciative with everything they have done for us!Champagne Events Mexico's reply:

La boda de mis sueños
No pude esperar más! El grupo Champagne Events fue súper atento y detallista en absolutamente todo. Mi boda fue un evento de 4 días y cada dia salió Perfecto.
Primer día: Taverna/Bar con karaoke
Segundo día: Preboda, fiesta mexicana con buffett mexicano
Tercer día: Ceremonia, Cocktail, Cena y Baile
Cuarto día: Fiesta en la alberca con DJ
Ellos estuvieron atentos a todo lo que necesitábamos incluso que nuestros invitados estuvieran cómodos. Mariluz se encargó de conseguir proveedores y Steve se encargó de darnos el mejor precio. Steve también se encargó del transporte de TODOS los invitados. Nadie se canso de decirnos lo hermoso que salió todo y le doy gracias a nuestros organizadores por hacerlo posible.

Steve and Mariluz are an absolute dream team!
Planning a wedding during a pandemic, booking a venue site unseen, coordinating everything virtually, is not something that should seem easy to do. But it was, and it was all thanks to Steven and Mariluz.
Their organization, communication, patience, and attention to detail is unparalleled, I honestly don't know how they do it all.
I could write a ridiculously lengthy review about why you should hire them as your wedding planners but I will keep it simple.
If you are looking for planners in Mexico who will make your dreams come true, blow your expectations out of the water, and have your guests talking about your big day for years to come, then look no further. The dream wedding for a fashion forward couple!
Wow! Words cannot express how perfect our wedding was. I still get butterflies thinking about it.
I love fashion and style. My Pinterest boards are filled with the outfits of Haylie Bieber, Gigi Hadid, and so many other fashionistas. I had my sights set high on three day red-carpet trendy, non-traditional, statement wedding. Combine that with my desire to have a wedding that stayed true to my Polish and Catholic heritage. Seems impossible and a lot of work, right? Not for Mariluz and Steve! We enjoyed three days of a fashionistas love story straight of Vogue magazine.
We started by telling Mariluz and Steve how we wanted to feel, and they gave us an event that was beyond our imaginations. I wish I could show you that I am not exaggerating. There was no detail left behind. They understood every abstract word and feeling we gave them - Tulum-vibe, jungle disco, club-restaurant, a party but intimate, polish tradition with a Mexican vibe, and all of that while keeping true to our Catholic and Polish roots. They nailed it! It was magical for us and our guests. Our words turned it into a reality, and it was only made possible by Mariluz and Steve listening to us, taking the time to get to know us, and becoming our friends.
Pro-tip - If you are like us and are looking for a cool couple, statement wedding that is in the trendiest places of Mexico, hire Champagne! Listen to their recommendations. They are honest and will go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. We are so lucky to have met Mariluz and Steve, and will forever call them friends!Champagne Events Mexico's reply:

Trustworthy and professional!
Steve and Mariluz are incredible to work with. Deciding on an international destination wedding, we put a lot of trust in them. At every stage they communicated professionally and were enthusiastic about helping us create the exact experience we wanted.
They found us a venue that we FELL IN LOVE WITH. The decorations they designed and executed took our breath away. All of our friends and family were blown away and truly had the best time. The entire weekend felt effortless because of all the detailed and committed work Steve, Mariluz, their staff, and vendors put in.

The Best Wedding Planners in CDMX and Beyond
Mariluz and Steve of Champagne Events were the best vendors we worked with through our whole wedding experience and we can't recommend them enough. They were thoughtful and caring, full of advice, managed so many details for our destination wedding, built gorgeous decorations, and made the process so much fun. I can't imagine having to have thrown our wedding without them and for anyone doing a destination in or around Mexico City - please give them a call. They provide exceeding value for the money and their work is top top top notch.
They managed items for us such as - covid changes, full transportation to and from the venue, additional activities, Friday and Saturday night events, payment and communication with all other vendors, wedding theme and decoration, flower sourcing, specifics asked of the venue, budget management. MariLuz and her team did an amazing job planning our proposal. All communication was done via email and one zoom call so I was a bit skeptical about how everything would turn out. I asked MariLuz to change things around up until the last minute and she made it all tie nicely in the end.
My expectations were definitely surpassed in all aspects. I loved everything: choice of venue, entertainment, decorations, furniture, flower arrangements, and dinner options.
