We had a wonderful experience working with Chelsea at Chad Biggs Events for our wedding at Donovan Manor. The wedding was beyond my expectations!
Even with our partial planning package, Chelsea provided thoughtful guidance throughout the planning process and did an excellent job keeping us on schedule. She helped us stay organized, focused on key milestones, and confident in our decisions without ever feeling overwhelmed.
On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly and felt seamless from our perspective. Chelsea ensured the timeline stayed on track and handled coordination behind the scenes so we could fully enjoy the day without stress. I was able to be in the moment on the big day, confident that Chelsea was keeping everything running behind the scenes.
We’re very grateful for her steady support, vendor insights, and go-with-the-flow demeanor when we had to adjust or adapt. We would gladly recommend her to other couples planning their wedding. -

Chad planned our December 2025 wedding--it was without a doubt the right choice to hire him. He brought his impeccable taste, significant talent, and outstanding vision to building a weekend that was truly impressive. My spouse and I are both busy, type-A professionals from Washington, DC with a great deal of event planning experience ourselves. As such, we were probably difficult clients--on top of the fact that this was a very large wedding with guests from all over the world. Chad delivered. He exceeded expectations of the florals, design, and overall execution. Weeks before the wedding, Chad injured his foot and was in a great deal of pain leading up to our events. As a sign of the professional that he is, he still performed with remarkable strength and carried out an event that stunned even our most discerning guests. We will always be thankful to Chad and his team for the beauty that he created and the story that he told through the art of his event planning. If you intend to carry out a luxury wedding in the Carolinas, you need to hire Chad. -

We had the pleasure of working with Chelsea for our very large, traditional southern wedding. From our first meeting, Chelsea took our project on headfirst, and we could not be happier with the results of our wedding. She seamlessly navigated a very large guest count and worked with new vendors as well as an unfamiliar venue to her to bring our dreams to life. She truly took the time to get to know us both, so every detail was intentional. By the end of our planning time, Chelsea knew what I liked better than I did! She was there from wedding dress shopping to signature cocktail tasting to packing up my veil at the end of the night for me and she became an amazing friend in the process. She truly prioritized our every need, no matter how big or small.
Since our wedding 1 month ago, at least once a day we have gotten compliments from guests that our wedding was not only one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever been to, but also so much fun. She truly made my dream day a reality. -

From the minute we met Chad, we knew it was a done deal. Chad was so warm, funny, professional, and an absolute expert at all things wedding planning. He put us at ease from the start and provided a complete run down of costs, our meeting cadence, and all expectations from his end and ours. Chad went to work linking us with his tried-and-true preferred vendors and even stepped in and stepped up when I made a huge mistake in booking a shady vendor on my own. Chad was kind about it and worked quickly to resolve the issue and completely over-deliver on what I needed. Halfway through planning, Chad brought in his wonderful team member, Rachel, who was just as warm, kind, and wonderful as him. I then began meeting with both of them and we spent half the meetings laughing because they are a hoot! Since this was a destination wedding for us, and we were not even going to see the space until right before our wedding, Chad personally drove over an hour to the site to take videos and show us the space. He also went to our vendors and helped me pick out linens, chairs, and everything in real time-talk about above and beyond! The level of service Chad and Rachel provided was just incredible. And let me just tell you, the decor, the flowers, the cake, the set-up....absolutely stunning! Chad told me he wanted me to have my dream pink wedding and my goodness did he ever deliver! Honestly, it was more than my dream. Seeing the space for the first time took my breath away. Chad knew how important it was to me to honor my sister Eileen who passed away from breast cancer, and what he created was so touching and just beyond words. I could go on and on about our experience with Chad, Rachel, and the whole team. Planning a wedding at a venue sight unseen, choosing vendors from across the country, it all could have been so stressful, but it wasn't. We knew we had the best from the start and I even told Chad that I was sad it was all over, and we wouldn't get to have our meetings anymore! I truly cannot imagine a more perfect day created, orchestrated, and handled by the best man and team in the business! -

Month of Coordination Rockstars
Cameron was the month-of coordinator for our large Indian-Jewish wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to work with him and the Chad Biggs team! Cameron is kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and just an overall great human being. Having a mutli-cultural wedding, we were initially worried about all of the different aspects coming together, but Cameron quickly absorbed all of it and made sure it was all tracked. From start to finish Cameron was organized and not only helped with major planning items (rentals, floorplan, timeline, etc.), but he also set us up for success for all of our planning prior to the month of the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, we did not have to worry about a single thing! We provided much of the linens and decor ourselves and trusted Cameron to see our vision through. The involved setup and ceremony-to-reception flip were handled seamlessly and all of the decor was exactly as we had imagined. During the wedding, Cameron and the team kept everything on time and addressed any surprises quickly and effectively (we're not sure if anything did go wrong, but we never had to know if it did!). We received compliments throughout and after the wedding day about how beautifully organized and smooth the entire event was. At the end of the night, the team also helped us pack all of our items so we could be out of the venue on time without feeling rushed. If you want the perfect wedding look no further, choosing Chad Biggs was one of the best decisions we could've made! -

I could of not imagined what my wedding would of been like if I did not have Chelsea. Chelsea took so much stress off of me and she made sure everything was perfect. She thought of details that would of NEVER crossed my mind. She created our whole timeline and handled all communication with our vendors which was so nice to have. I was actually able to enjoy the day of the wedding because I did not have to worry about any of the behind the scenes. She kept me on time and handled any road bumps. We even had our officiant show up late (thanks to my Husband) and I had no idea until after the ceremony because Chelsea still made everything run perfectly. I was hesitant about spending wedding budget on a planner, but if I had to do it all over again, I would honestly spend more money and upgrade from the "more than day of coordination" package because of how amazing Chelsea was. This company and team is the dream time and if you are thinking about hiring them...do it. Chad was also a major help along the whole process and has such a keen eye for detail. They are pros when it comes to wedding planning and also such a fun, energetic, caring group. -

Kaisey, our wedding coordinator, was incredibly beneficial to the success of our daughter’s wedding this weekend! She truly listened as our daughter described her vision for the wedding, offered creative ideas, shared expert advice as we chose vendors, kept us on schedule throughout the entire planning process, patiently answered a million questions, and calmly troubleshooted when unexpected issues arose (like when the guys were sent the wrong vests less than two weeks before the wedding). I don’t know that words could even describe our experience with Kaisey, but I will try my very hardest. A little about my husband and myself: we work in healthcare, have conflicting schedules, we both just wanted to get married and aren’t concerned with small details for the most part, we are fairly laid back (him more than me), I am very organized and like having a checklist of action items, so nothing falls through the cracks, we are both foodies and particular abut food. We were originally planning a wedding for November 2020 and as you know, the pandemic began in the Spring of 2020. We live in Florida and were wanting to get married in NC, where my husband and I are both from. We attempted to plan ourselves, but after a few days of looking at venues online we realized we needed help. We had several planning groups on the books to interview and Chad Biggs Event Planning was our first meeting. My husband and I met virtually with Chad and Kaisey and we knew that was all we needed. We cancelled the remainder of our appointments with planners. We worked primarily with Kaisey and Chelsea. This team uses an event planning website that was incredibly helpful. We were able to keep track of budget, seating arrangements, guest list, etc. Chad Biggs offers several packages including day of services all the way to full blown planning. We chose the whole shebang. Kaisey planner our entire wedding. Twice. They are not commission based so we paid one flat fee.
Kaisey is extremely organized and very good at her job. Our initial meetings we went over inspiration and vision for the wedding and go to know each other. I basically showed her some Pinterest inspo and told her I just wanted to show up to a beautiful wedding with great food and an open bar. She first set out to find us a venue and the first handful were not quite what I wanted. She was not offended at all and we re-grouped on vision and she had perfect venues to pick from a few days later. We picked the one that we liked best and made the most sense for us. She made sure all contracts read well, explained verbiage, etc. Later on down the road, COVID was surging and our venue was not very flexible. We wanted to postpone because it would happen in the middle of one of the worst COVID surges with a deadly variant and we had several family members and friends who would be considered high risk. Kaisey helped talk us through next steps and when we said we wanted to explore other venues, she handled it quickly and with grace. I’m not sure what I would have done without her. She is a voice of reason, knows how to navigate any situation that could come her way in the planning process, and she does it flawlessly. We had to come to NC a few times to do tastings and other appointments and Kaisey booked all appointments and communicated with all vendors. Our wedding planning process was always seamless. We also had an issue with our original caterer who ended up going out of business and taking our deposit with them. Kaisey very professionally let us know and had recommendations lined up and ready to go. She is very prompt and responsive; any random question we had or concern she would handle. When I didn’t love my makeup trial and was too concerned with hurting feelings to speak up, Kaisey was my advocate and found a different artist to do my makeup the day of the wedding. She also lined up our initial engagement photo shoot with props in hand. She was able to let us know if prices vendors were proposing were unusual or a good deal. We also decided last minute to have everyone attending the wedding, including vendors, to take a rapid COVID test. She communicated with the vendors and helped us navigate.
Day of was also a complete breeze with Kaisey. She let me know before we came to NC what I would need to give to her prior to the wedding day. She checked on me the morning of and was at the venue with everything ready the day of. I felt like I had a fairy godmother around me all day. If I needed water, she knew and was handing it to me before I could ask. She made sure everything was in place on my dress. She bustled me after the ceremony. She made sure my dad had what he needed when he was feeling ill, she kept all wedding participants and attendees in line. I remember nothing going wrong the day of our wedding. We talked to her a week after the wedding and she let us know she requested a refund for an umbrella that wasn’t up to her standards.
I could write about my experience with Kaisey for days. She became a friend throughout the process and I miss having our zoom meetings and constant texting. She was always compassionate, encouraging, professional, and graceful. She navigated one of the most stressful times for us and made it a breeze. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, you should. And it should be Kaisey with Chad Biggs.

I don't know where to start singing Janna's praises. She was by far the best part of my wedding planning process. We met Janna when we toured The Distillery and instantly connected with her. By the time we left our tour, we knew we wanted our big day to be at The Distillery and we knew that we needed Janna to help us plan it. Throughout the planning process, Janna turned into my best friend who had all the greatest suggestions and advice. I would find myself celebrating successes with her, venting to her, and most importantly problem solving with her. I knew she had our best interest at heart and was going to do everything in her power to give us the day we dreamed of. There were two moments when I realized just how great Janna was during our planning. The first was one of our design meetings. I had a general idea of what I liked, but I had no clue what I actually wanted and how it was going to come together. Janna listened to me talk and then delivered a design plan that was so perfectly me. I would have never been able to do that on my own! She suggested some "wow" pieces that make our reception pop and then also suggested areas to cut back and save money. The second time Janna was a true rockstar was our wedding day. She has so calm, direct, and organized. She transformed our venue so quickly. She knew the plan and rarely had to check with me on anything which allowed me to enjoy time with my family and my friends. My wedding day was perfect and I attribute most of that to Janna and her hard work. I am so excited to be married now but I truly am going to miss spending time and talking with her. I can't recommend her enough, she goes above and beyond what is expected of her and will stop at nothing to make your day perfect. We love Janna! -

By far my best decision
Being a bride from NY having a wedding in NC was nerve-racking but cannot express the gratitude I have for this team, I was truly blessed and could not have asked for a better planner. Not knowing the area, or being nearby was stressful but Janna had this perfect way of knowing exactly what I wanted and presenting me with the best vendors I could choose from so that all the biggest burdens were taken care of. She made all of the work of wedding planning unbeliveably smooth and fun; she knew the type of wedding we wanted and delivered far beyond expectations. When we had to reschedule, she made the smoothest transition for us and took care of everything- in a heartbreaking time she managed to help us through not only with logistics but the emotions of rescheduling and the support for any and all our decisions will always be appreciated. I had the most incredible time at our wedding and was not concerned nor had to deal with anything because this team's experience, knowledge and expertise was so extensive and comforting. Their organization and communication throughout planning and on the day of allowed for such minimal stress. I would make this decision 10 times over again and honestly want to have more events in NC just so I could work with this team again. Every one of our guests is still raving about the elegance, the design, the music, food, and overall wedding and I cannot credit Janna enough for making that happen- the experience and outcome I received was easily worth 3 times what I paid, full service was the best choice I made with absolutely zero regrets. -

Kaisey was amazing
I always dreamt about my wedding day since I was a little girl. When my now husband proposed, I searched hard for who I thought would help me have that fairytale wedding I SO wanted. Well Kaisey, did that and SO much more!! When we got engaged, I made 3 very important hires: our officiant, photographer, and Janna, our wedding planner extraordinaire. I cannot even begin to explain how lost I would have been without her. She was always available to answer a quick question or hash out a decision. The wedding world can be very overwhelming, but her expertise made the process so much easier to navigate. I enjoyed our planning meetings so much as she's not only such a joy to be around, but also incredibly organized, professional, and intentional. She talked me off several ledges, did not hesitate to warn against any of my "bad ideas" , and dedicated so much time to making sure I was on schedule throughout planning. Chad Biggs Event Planning and Design is hands down the most important vender you need to hire for your wedding day! My husband and I chose the partial planning package and worked with Janna. She was a joy to work with and helped us know everything we needed to do leading up to the event. The day of seemed like a breeze because Janna and her assistant had everything so organized and communicated so thoroughly with all of the vendors, wedding party, and guests as needed. My wedding also got rescheduled for a year later due to the pandemic and Janna handled all the communication with the vendors to get the new date secured. Save yourself the future headache and book this team- they are all fantastic!!! -

We had to use Chad Biggs company for our wedding due to the venue we chose. Honestly if we didn't we probably wouldn't have hired a planner at all and that would have been a huge mistake. We worked with Janna and she was honestly perfect with everything. There are so many things you don't know you even need to think about before the wedding that she told us about and helped us plan. Literally not a single thing happened on the wedding day that wasn't planned or at least spoken about in the weeks before. The last thing you want on your wedding day is a surprise.
Day of coordination was also perfect. I had gone over the timeline countless times prior to the wedding but on the big day I forgot everything and if she hadn't been there it would have been chaos.
All our guests complemented us on our wedding (and we had several German guests that definitely love to nitpick and would 100% tell you if there was something wrong).
Chad Biggs is a great company and I would definitely recommend Janna if you pick them. -

Friendly and organized planner
I met Janna at our first tour at Rose Hill and was so happy she became our planner. Our venue required a "day of" planner, but I am glad because it would've been hectic without Janna. From the beginning Janna was very communicative and by the end we formed a nice friendship. She was so flexible with my strange schedule and always found a time to meet. Two things that stood out are when Janna offered to take some of our supplies a few days before the wedding so we wouldn't have to worry about it day of. I also forgot a few things at the venue after the wedding and she made sure to grab them for me. During the wedding Janna always made sure I was okay/had a drink/had food. She is so sweet, but also gets the job done. -

Several friends recommended me to Chad Biggs Event Planning and Design, and I am so grateful that they did. My husband and I worked with Kaisey Wilkinson and hired them *very* early on in the process as a day of coordinator. Most day of coordinators only work with couples 8 weeks max before the big day, but Kaisey was with us every step of the way from the moment signed on. She gave us tips on vendors, a rough timeline, and planning resources up front and was ALWAYS available when I had a question.
The last 2 months is when we really started the nitty-gritty coordination, and I don't know what I would have done without her. She managed all of the little details that I'd never have thought of and took over drop off/set up/clean up with all of my vendors well in advance. The photographer I worked with said that it was the most organized planning service he'd ever worked with, which says a lot.
On the day of the wedding, Kaisey took care of everything. She kept my easily distractable family on track, kept the party moving on time, cleaned off the ceremony chairs when it decided to rain 10 minutes before the wedding, helped me get into and bustle my dress, bandaged my feet when I got blisters, AND she kept a constant stream of food and drinks coming to my husband and I to make sure we got everything we needed. If there was any hiccup, she handled it before I was even aware.
For the price, you are getting so so much more than a day of coodinator. I can't say enough good things about Kaisey and this company and would recommend them in a heartbeat. -

I don't have enough words to thank Daniel enough for being there EVERY single step of the way through our crazy wedding planning! I booked Chad and his team for the day of wedding planning because they were required to be used with our venue. I was a little hesistant at first, but I don't think I could have done it without him! Daniel went above and beyond with making sure all of our details were perfect, helping create a timeline of events, and just checking in on me throughout the planning process. Although I hired him for the day of planning, he worked with me throuhgout the entire time and met monthly leading up until the wedding. Although we had set monthly meetings, we would call and text anytime he had updates or if I had questions. He was always there to answer any questions (even when he was on vacation he would call and talk through details). In addition, our wedding had to be postponed due to the virus and he ensured that I was calm and collected throughout the entire time. He was there for me to talk through switching venue options, offering to take me on tours of different venues, just listening to me cry on the phone and offering comforting words.. he didn't have to do that, but he is invested in his brides and wants the best for us! He was professional and always giving me the best ideas and I couldn't imagined our special day without him. I would 10/10 recommend him and Chad's team for all of your wedding plans! My husband and I consider ourselves VERY LUCKY to have found Kaisey Wilkinson as our wedding coordinator!! We have said many times during wedding planning and after the wedding that we don’t know what we would have done without Kaisey. She is so much more than a planner, she is a saint!! At every step of the way, she was right by our side ensuring that our day was absolutely perfect and helping us navigate all the intricacies of wedding planning (including the FOUR times we had to replan because of COVID-19).
It may sound like I’m exaggerating, but it’s true. She made planning such a breeze and was our savior throughout the entire wedding process. In fact, she single handedly saved our wedding day not once but TWICE. First, when she found us a new venue last minute and secondly when she helped us solve for a big hiccup the day before the wedding.
Please believe me when I tell you that on my wedding day, I wasn’t nervous or stressed out AT ALL. In fact, I was surprisingly relaxed the entire morning. Why? Because Kaisey had helped us plan everything out to the T and executed it with such ease that I had absolutely nothing to worry out and was able to kick back and enjoy the day.

We hired Kaisey for day-of coordination and she exceeded all expectations! Most day-of coordinators don't start helping until a month or two before your wedding, but not Kaisey. From the minute we signed with her, she was highly responsive, helpful, and made me feel confident through all of the decisions. The week before our wedding, the weather shifted to be much colder than anticipated. Knowing how much an outdoor ceremony meant to me, Kaisey's creativity kicked in and she designed incredibly beautiful blanket and hot apple cider stations to make sure all of our guests were comfortable during our fall sunset ceremony.

With my type A personality and love of spreadsheets I thought for sure I could manage planning a wedding by myself and wrangle everyone and everything together perfectly, but our wedding would have been a nightmare without the assistance of Chad Biggs Events Planning and their Senior Planner, Janna Brown. Janna gave me a checklist that was a lifesaver, but meeting with her each time made us feel so much better. She was so helpful (and critical) in working with other vendors, developing our timeline, and all the day-of things that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. Some people might think coordinators might be expensive or an unnecessary wedding expense, but you will not regret having one because our wedding day was perfect thanks to Janna and Chad Biggs! As a funny side story, Janna really did it all for me and was hands down one of the most professional people I’ve had the pleasure to ever work with. She literally went above the call the duty to change my shoes for me while we were eating dinner and it’s a moment my husband and I still laugh about. We had almost 300 guests at our wedding and so many people were trying to come up to talk to us during our reception that we didn’t have a moment to breath. It was just about time to start dancing for the night and I knew I wanted to change out of my high heels and into some comfortable ballet flats. Janna fetched them from one side of the venue to the next and while I’m talking to one of our guests at our head table, she discreetly went under my dress and slipped off my heels and put on the flats like a pro. Meanwhile my husband and I were trying so hard not to laugh and I was having the most difficult time focusing on the conversation at hand while switching shoes. I wasn’t so successful, but Janna pushed through and made it happen because she’s amazing. That’s the kind of team you want helping you on your wedding day :) -

We used Chad for my daughters wedding at Rose Hill Plantation. I have to say that he and his staff exceeded all my expectations from start to finish. He is the ultimate professional and has the creativity and design expertise to work with all budgets. I can't even begin to explain how amazing Steph Smith was not only on the day of my wedding, but from the moment I booked with Chad Biggs. She was very responsive, profession and just gave me a peace of mind from day one. They had provided me with suggested vender list, which helped me greatly. All of their close venders were great to work with. Steph had answered so many questions throughout the whole process that when It came down to the 8 week meeting (when most are usually frantic) I felt very organized and excited for the following weeks. THE BEST OF THE BEST. Daniel Varela was our main planner and he was amazing. I hired a planner so I wouldn't forget anything and he made sure our entire wedding dream came true for my daughter. He always made us feel as if our wedding was the only thing he had going on and no matter how small or big the issue with any vendor, he always made us feel in control and calm. During the actual wedding, Daniel ran the show like a well oiled machine. We stayed on our timeline, but never felt rushed or regimented. He blended in to our crowd and never looked like he was "at work." Several of my guests said they watched him and he was handling everything with ease. He was always there with shoes for our aching feet, a drink, loading the car with gifts, fixing a wrinkle in a dress - EVERYTHING. My guests said they felt like they were at an impressive event in New York City. Daniel has a great relationship with many other local wedding vendors which helps streamline the set up of the wedding day. Chad Biggs and his team are a dedicated group of professionals who went above and beyond to craft my dream wedding. Planning for a North Carolina wedding in Texas, I knew having a wedding planner would help ease the stress. I put my trust in Chad and his team and they delivered excellent results. Their communication was excellent; we had multiple phone conferences in order to discuss all details well in advance of the date. Chad's assistants emailed me confirmation of all details so I could review and make changes if necessary.
On the day of the wedding, Chad's team members were there to help during every step to make sure everyone knew exactly where to be. He coordinated with all vendors so I could be stress-free and focus on enjoying my wedding. He knew the venue (Rose Hill) very well, and was able to coordinate catering, linens, and all other on-site concerns beautifully.

If you don't want to read this entire article: Daniel and Kasey are wonderful. I could not have asked for a better team. I am a skeptical person by nature and I do no relinquish control easily but Daniel had my and my husbands best interest in mind from the get-go. I would not have enjoyed the last 3 months of planning or the rehearsal at all and the wedding would have been stressful, to say the least. The Chad Biggs team are incredibly thorough, creative, and thoughtful and they cannot be matched.
When I first met Daniel in March of 2018 I liked him immediately. I was a little embarrassed at how few ideas I had and how little i had prepared thus far. (I did not have expectations, 'wants', 'needs', or specific plans for my wedding. I just wanted good food, good music and fun. Pretty broad-huh?) He listened and offered suggestions and creative advice, he commented and complimented on (the few) choices I had made at that point. Leading up to the wedding we had 3 or 4 meetings 4 weeks apart to catch up on vendors, linens, colors, music choices, décor, procession/recession, seating, etc. It was so much more than I had ventured to think about and Daniel walked me through each step with TONS of patience and humor. I got myself in to a bit of a bind by delaying booking my hair and makeup - he sent me 5 or 6 known and trusted vendors and even reached out to a personal connection. He was very responsive and flexible; he always made me feel like a priority. The rehearsal was quick and went smoothly - I couldn't have loved Daniel more that day, honestly. He gently reminded the group that it was 'John and Alexis' Day' thus politely squashing the distracting side conversations while the Officiant directed everyone and soothed me when I started to get flustered. He and Kasey (his assistant for our wedding but she is also a solo rockstar of a Planner) met us at our rehearsal dinner and it honestly felt like friends had arrived for some after dinner drinks. They are so energizing and sweet and comforting. And finally, the Big Day. They had every detail covered. I didn't have to think of one thing. The ceremony was perfectly calculated and counted. Photos were timed and we were able to make it down for our cocktail hour. Honestly, every 'stage' of the day went smoothly. Daniel and Kasey didn't interrupt conversations or 'suddenly' DO anything - it was all gentle and flowy. They ensured that John and I had our cocktail of choice at all times and that we sat and ate dinner before whisking off for photos. They were incredibly calculating and considerate at the same time. I hope to have an event for them to lead again. I didn't worry about one thing that I put in their more-than-capable hands. -

I want to start off this review by saying I know that my husband has already written one but there are not enough reviews or even words to express our gratitude for Chad Biggs Event Planning and Design. Chad, Janna, and Daniel are all fabulous; you cannot go wrong with any of them as your planner. Even though we ended up not having our wedding at our original venue, it led us to these fabulous planners. Honestly, hiring Chad Biggs Event Planning and Design as our Full Service Planner was one of the best decisions we ever made. My husband and I do not have a lot of free time together during the work week and having Janna give us to-do lists and lists of preferred vendors helped reduce the amount of time we spent researching/planning.
Chad and Janna truly moved mountains for us. Two weeks before our wedding, we had become so fed up with the unfulfilled promises by our initial wedding venue and their lack of working with us on wedding details, we decided to try to switch our venue. To our good fortune, Chad Biggs Event Planning and Design had just become the exclusive planner for Rose Hill Plantation and July 14th, 2018 (our wedding day) was possibly available. Chad was more than willing to extend his already long day to meet my mother and I at Rose Hill even with it being July 3rd. After seeing the beautifully manicured landscape nestled around a historic plantation house, I was in love. Chad was great with talking me through the pros and cons of moving our wedding venue less than 2 weeks out.
Unfortunately, the next day my mother notified me that Chad had gotten back to her and a family reunion ended up booking our wedding date (the same day we toured). I was absolutely heartbroken and devastated. There was so much negativity surrounding our initial wedding venue that I was dreading our wedding day, which is not the way a bride should feel. Janna was out of town for the 4th and went out of her way to find cellphone reception so that she could reach out to me. Chad along with our florist (Shelley at Expressions of Love) continued to reach out to other venues to see if they had July 14th, 2018 available. At this point, there was nowhere else that we could make work to move the wedding.
3 days before my wedding, my father reached his breaking point with the management and owners of our original venue that he said our wedding would not take place there. By midday the next day, everything magically fell into place due to Chad and Janna’s determination and vigorous efforts; we were officially having our wedding at Rose Hill Plantation. With round the clock planning on their end, Chad along with Janna and Daniel made the venue transition effortless for us. They even took care of notifying all the vendors and notifying guests of our venue change.
Chad and his staff rallied together to made our wedding day exceptionally special as I know they do for all of their couples. Chad Biggs Event Planning and Design honestly exceeded all of our expectations and executed/delivered the wedding our of dreams in 2 days!
I promise any couple thinking about hiring Chad Biggs Event Planning and Design as their planner that you will not regret it. Chad, Janna, and Daniel have truly touched our hearts and will always be considered a part of our family.
