  Cera will be doing my flowers for my wedding. I love her professionalism as well as her passion for the industry! She is hands down the greatest.

  Went with a different wedding planner

  I was so excited to work with Cera after reading the glowing reviews of her and speaking with her on the phone (she is really nice and friendly!), but unfortunately she did not live up to the wedding planning that we needed.
  
  We had a few issues from the beginning. Cera emailed us to let us know that she would be unavailable quite a bit during the months we had initially requested for her to be available to look at venues with us, although she didn't let us know about this until after we'd signed contracts and sent her our deposit. Rather than engaging with us proactively, I had to remind her to send us the documents she'd mentioned she would send to us, and then when we received them, they were disorganized (e.g. our wedding date was incorrect, the timeline was a full year shorter than our actual timeline). I was most disappointed when she asked us to send her a list of the venues we'd already found, and when she provided us back a list that she thought might work for us, it was the same as the list I'd sent, plus one additional venue - a Mexican restaurant.
  
  Somewhat fortunately, we ended up moving out of state after we hired Cera but before our wedding. We ended up canceling with her, and because she had done nothing for us at that point, we were refunded less the deposit, as stipulated in our contract. Of course, we understood that we wouldn't get our deposit back, but we were still disappointed that we'd spent so much money and it seemed likely that, had we continued working with her, we would continue to be disappointed in our experience.
  
  I'd highly recommend working with any professional on a smaller project before making the mistake we did and hiring a full-service planner before knowing whether it will be the right fit.
