When you go into wedding planning, you don't expect to become best friends with your caterer. But that's exactly what happened. Valerie and I hit it off, and she worked tirelessly - while pregnant! - to make Max and I's special day flawless for us. Nothing deterred her. Her mother passed away early on, and Valerie kept at it. Our contact at the Harn Museum changed and some new policies were enacted, and Valerie was unfazed. From setting up a last-minute tailgate to arranging tables by tea bags, priming a memorial table and decking out Scottish plaids and favors all over the place, taking excellent care of my friend's homemade centerpieces and giving us the perfect numbers for a booze list, even staging a buffet in a tiny space and making the best damn potatoes I've ever encountered, our guests could not stop raving about the delicious food, generous portions (our cake was at least 2 inch thick blocks!), tasty sangria, and beautiful presentation. I'm thankful that Celebrations always had their doors open so my MIL and I could drop off items. I'm grateful for the tastings so I could perfect the vegan jackfruit option. I'm ecstatic that Valerie is my bud, so I can see what life brings her way. If it's anything like what Celebrations put on for my wedding, it'll be nothing short of spectacular. Classy business, even picking up slack for other vendors and comping items like extra tables when the write-up from a vendor was incorrect. This company treats you like family. I'll remember them like family, too. -

My now husband and I worked with Jessica and she was amazing! She was honest, helpful, personable, and made the planning process much easier for me. She is really great at what she does!! I appreciated that she listened well, and offered her insights at the right time. On the day of the wedding, she worked closely with my coordinator and other vendors to make sure both the ceremony and reception went smoothly. They went above and beyond to make us happy, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. The food was tasty and the bartenders did their thing for our guests. Everyone raved about how much fun they had and that was largely due to Jessica and her team. If I could do it over again (which me and my husband joked about because it was SUCH an amazing day), I would totally choose Jessica and Celebrations. Our wedding was such a memorable experience! Thank y’all so much for coming through for us and doing a phenomenal job! -

Celebrations, and Branden specifically, did an incredible job with our wedding!! We knew that Branden was something special when he spent---no joke--two hours with us at our venue walk-through going over the potential layout, different decor we could do, variations on the menu, how to design the cocktail hour, you name it! This was on the same day as our tasting, where everything was delicious, and the displays were beautiful! We were planning from out of town, so it was imperative that our caterer could take care of food, set-up, bartending, linens, high-chairs, and (to our delight) much of the actual decorating! We made a powerpoint with slides from Pinterest of different decor ideas based on what Celebrations had in stock (crates, signs, etc) and Branden took it and ran with it---and did an amazing job! Much of our communication was by email, and we appreciated Branden's quick replies and quick edits to our invoice when we requested any changes. We met the week of to go over everything, and Chef Dennis even stopped by to review the different options he could do for our requested Cuban-style chicken dish! We did a "pre-set" the day before, where we went out to the venue and got to see some of the decor and set-up, and were thrilled with how everything looked. On the actual wedding day, everything went super smoothly---the drinks were delicious, the food was hot and yummy and there was even a personalized chalkboard menu display! Branden designed an entire "dessert lounge" display that was straight out of my Pinterest page---we loved it! The tables looked so classy and we got multiple comments on how good the food was--thank you Chef Dennis!! We feel so lucky to have found Celebrations and cannot recommend them more highly! -

Our Celebrations team of Jessica (and Brandon on the day) were amazing. We were going a non-traditional root and they jumped right in, worked to get an understanding of what we wanted and what we needed and then made it all happen with very little effort on our side. Jessica always had anything we needed at hand and always went the extra mile ... she even went to get a pacifier for my baby niece when my sister had forgotten one. No change was ever too annoying and they really worked to get within our budget. THANK YOU CELEBRATIONS! -

Erin was very supportive, helpful, kind and always there for me throughout the planning process. She went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding was everything I imagined & more! Thank you!

I was deciding between two vendors and my husband wanted to go with celebrations because he knew from attending different events in the area that they catered, that they did a great job. We might have paid just slightly extra but I did not hire a wedding planner or so I fit that nicely into our budget. I actually found that a wedding planner wasn’t needed between myself and the beautiful young woman that was the head cater the day of my wedding. This woman was more than spectacular! She thought of small details that I overlooked and got it completely taken care of. She brought extra stuff just in case I overlook things and was right on the money. We ordered beer for our guests and it was not my husband’s preference of beer. She actually got a six pack just for the groom! If that’s not going an extra mile I don’t know what is!

Linnea Sent on 03/06/2016After my wife and I moved up our wedding by 4 months I was frantically looking for caterers when I stumbled upon Celebrations. I emailed them and Erin immediately responded to me. She was so very helpful with EVERYTHING. I changed everything at least once, but she made it seem like it was not a big deal at all. I will definitely use her for more events! Everyone loved the food, and it was perfect! -

She was so on top of everything and brought awesome ideas to every meeting. And the food was SO GOOD. We are still getting compliments on the food from our guests months later.
If you are getting married in Gainesville, you NEED to work with Celebrations. They really do take care of everything and they are so organized and professional through the whole planning process. Working with Jessica was just as good, if not better, than having an overall wedding planner. They made planning from across the country so easy. Thanks for making our wedding so perfect! -

Celebrations catered my own wedding just over five years ago, so I was THRILLED to finally work a wedding with them as a photographer. I knew what to expect: delicious food, flawless presentation, & timeliness. Jessica & the team really knocked this one out of the park though. The reception was hosted at the Alachua Senior Center, which isn't a place historically used for weddings. The way that place was transformed was incredible! I wasn't sure what to expect about the location's ambiance & feel for a formal event (since the place mostly hosts daytime activities for our local senior citizens) but upon seeing for this wedding, my opinion is changed. I would recommend this venue for weddings in the future, as long as a talented & high-performing team such as Celebrations is in charge! -
User1203374 Sent on 06/17/2013The food was excellent - great flavor, hot, nice presentation - and the service was exceptional! They did everything and I didn't need to worry a bit. I had the coordinator's number and could text her whenever I thought of something and she was always very good about responding and solving whatever it was. They made my space look beautiful and were very good about coordinating with my other vendors so that everything worked together perfectly.
