  Terry and her team are as professional and amazing as they come. From day one, Terry was responsive both to email and phone call. We had some unique communication challenges with our venue (Deer Park Villa) and she prepared us for those and advocated for us as needed, making the overall experience smooth and wonderful. Because of Terry's competence and level of experience, we were able to save the cost of having a day of wedding planner, as she coordinated directly with our cake drop off and florist to make sure the venue was set up as needed. The food was amazing (and she plated our meals and encouraged us to eat during the wedding -- something we might not have done otherwise). Everyone told us how good the food was; there was definitely not the nightmare experience of having a great tasting but lower quality food at the wedding -- every bite was cooked to the same standard. I could not recommend CaterMarin more highly, especially if you have a wedding at DPV.

  The very BEST!!!! I cannot say enough how much we love Terry and CaterMarin! They are just wonderful.
  We had our wedding at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley. The created the most wonderful day for us and our guests. I had so many people tell us that it was the best food they've ever had- and not just at a wedding! They especially loved the mushroom strudel, potato souffle, vegetable sautee, and chimichurri! I had one guest with a very specific and challenging dietary need- no sodium. Can you imagine?? Terry and Nick went above and beyond to make sure he had a meal. He was so happy and grateful that they were able to accommodate him. He told me that he has been to many weddings, but he has never been able to eat the food. He just sits through the dinner with an empty plate- even at the weddings for two of his daughters!! He was thrilled that he got to have salmon AND steak and kept giving me thumbs up and smiles from his seat. And my mom- the toughest critic of all- had only positive things to say. She said everything was "the best." Our guests were so happy and well cared for, and we sincerely appreciate that.
  But besides the amazing food, Terry and her staff could not be any nicer! We thoroughly enjoyed working with them. They are organized and helpful, and worked so hard to make sure we were happy. They truly care and want the best for their clients. They thought of everything to make sure we had the perfect day. For instance, Terry called me one evening to ask me if I wanted them to bring in outdoor heaters because she noticed that the weather was getting colder. How amazing is that??
  Looking at all the positive reviews here, there really should be no doubt that CaterMarin is the way to go!

  I have hired CaterMarin for a school event as well as my wedding. Terry's chef really cooks up some fine food and Terry herself knows how to put on a fine event. She and her staff are always professional and courteous. They leave your event location cleaner than when they arrived! Terry is really knowledgeable. She was instrumental in helping us figure out our wedding schedule, ordering up all the equipment we would need, and working with the DJ to ensure the flow of our event. She made sure we were fed, and at each event, packs up all the leftovers for us. She and her staff are a joy to work with and I will be sure to call again to book my next event!

  Terry with CaterMarin catered our wedding in July. The entire process start to finish was so easy. Terry worked with our budget and created a truly delicious dinner menu. We left the tasting completely full, but also confident that we found an amazing catering staff! The set-up, service of dinner and cake, and clean-up by Terry and her staff went without a hitch. Or if there was a "hitch," they handled it without anyone knowing! I had many family members tell me the next day how much they enjoyed the appetizers and dinner. Terry prepared an appetizer plate separately for my husband and I to eat privately before joining the cocktail hour. We had a buffet dinner and Terry personally made 2 plates for us and served us dinner. Those extra touches were greatly appreciated! Terry and her staff are amazing and we highly recommend CaterMarin!

  We first took notice of Terry and CaterMarin at the wedding reception for two of our friends. At the time, we noted the quality of the food and the service, so when we were planning our own wedding, we called Terry first.
  
  We couldn’t have been happier with the food and service we received from Terry and her staff at CaterMarin. Terry worked with us from the start to help us work out the small details of scheduling and timing throughout our wedding, color coordination, and the layout of the tables and food during the reception. We had the added complication of hosting our reception at the same intimate location as our ceremony, but with Terry’s help and the quiet professionalism of her staff everything came off without us, our guests, or the catering staff bumping into each other.
  
  Terry took care of ordering the rentals needed, and having them delivered and picked up. The menu options she provided were extensive with quite a variety of foods from which to choose. The menu we finally selected was excellent, and our guests have had only rave reviews since then. Terry coordinated very well with the homeowners to make sure setup and take-down were as unobtrusive as possible for them.
  
  We highly recommend Terry and CaterMarin for your catering needs, and we look forward to the next opportunity we have to use her services, or at least experience her wonderful food at another event!!

  Four days post wedding and we're STILL getting compliments on the food, which we had family style Californian. From the fresh greens and beets salad, the honey roasted chicken, salmon, butternut soup squash (to DIE for-- tastes like it has cream, but does not!) and mashed potatoes-and-parsnips, our guests and we devoured the food. Being vegetarian, Terry also specifically prepared sauteed vegetables and beet-tinted quinoa for me since I couldn't partake in the main courses: nutritious, tasty, well-seasoned, and perfect fuel for my wedding.
  
  My (hard to please) Chinese parents and many other guests also couldn't stop raving about the excellent service, and the fantastic appetizers (crab cakes!! yum). This is monumental since the food was American, and they are Chinese...! Everyone we've talked to during and afterwards said that the food and service were easily the best they'd experienced at any wedding.
  
  Also, the service! The attentive waitstaff was always one step of my husband and I, making sure that we were well taking care of. Thanks to their foresight, we were able to eat on our wedding day" Every time we had a chance, someone was there armed with bites to eat, a drink, or just making sure we were okay. And at the end of the night, we got take-home boxes for extra fuel.
  
  Best option ever in Marin county. Would totally use them again!

She also knew our venue really well, so I trusted her to tell me the best layouts, floor plans, and timing. For me, one of the most important things was that I knew I could trust and rely on Terry on wedding day. She was also pretty responsive via phone and email; you might have to start bugging Terry on her cell once wedding season starts as she gets super busy, but she never let me down.
  
  And of course, you want to know about the food right? Well, the food is amazing as well. Hats off to Chef Nick! Everything we tried at our tasting was delicious (my fave is the chimmichurri sauce). After the wedding, we got so many compliments on the food. I can tell they're sincere when people are wondering if they can ask for the recipes. The food also looked gorgeous, colorful and full of seasonal ingredients.
  
  We didn't check out many other caterers since we were so blown away by the food at our tasting, but I think that CaterMarin's prices are very competitive and fit within our budget.
