Mark is more than just a caterer! We had a semi formal wedding with about 115 people by our pool and canal at our home on Jan 16th. The food and presentation were amazing but thats not where Mark stops. He helped us throughout the planning of the wedding and used his experience to help us make decisions about where to put tables and chairs for the best flow, figure out the best way to manage the food without it be crowded or congested and advised us on every aspect of how to make the night run smoothly. He is extremely easy to work with, knowledgeable and professional. His expertise is worth every penny! He was responsive with any questions we had, listened to our needs, was on time throughout the entire night and even had our leftovers in containers in the fridge for us by the time the night was over. His staff was friendly and professional and made the night that much more fun! My aunt lost a diamond tennis bracelet and without knowing she was missing it, one of the staff members who found it brought it to me. To me that says everything about the integrity of Mark and his entire team! We were so impressed by Mark leading up to the event we decided to have him cater our family and friends brunch the next day and the brunch was delicious! We will definitely use Mark in the future for events and highly recommend him for any couple planning a wedding that is looking for a stress free, amazing experience! -

Catering By Mark exceeded every expectation for our son, and future daughter-in-law's engagement party! From start to finish, Mark and his incredible team made the entire evening seamless and unforgettable. Communication was a breeze, and Mark’s attention to detail was impeccable.
The server and bartender were not only punctual but also fun, professional, and wonderfully accommodating to all our guests. The passed hors d'oeuvres were a hit—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The interactive mash martini bar and pasta station added a fun and unique touch, and the steak was cooked to perfection.
No guest ever had an empty glass, and the entire evening was executed flawlessly. We’re so grateful to Mark and his team for making this special occasion so memorable. I couldn’t recommend them more highly for your next event! -

Mark and Blanca from Catering by Mark was such a pleasure to work with from beginning until the end for my daughter's wedding Oct. 5, 2024. They communicated constantly with quick responses to any questions we had. Mark was great in giving advice from food choices and what to do during the reception. There professionalism dealing with events was evident at my daughter's wedding. He took very good care of the bride and groom.
He absolutely had a great staff from the servers to the bartenders. He made the reception dinner go smoothly and the ice cream bar was a hit. Mark was right along side serving with his team. I would absolutely recommend Catering by Mark and rate them over a 10! It felt like we were working with family. Recently, we entrusted “Catering by Mark” to provide and serve food for a wedding celebration at our home. They also coordinated the rentals of tables, chairs, high tops and linens. From the beginning, we knew we chose the right caterer. Throughout the process, Mark and Blanca were very quick to respond to any inquiry we had.
Mark helped create a stylish affair with passed hors d'oeuvres, a self-serve appetizer table and a variety of dessert shots. We were impressed with the number of options available. The food was FANTASTIC. Everything was fresh, nicely presented and delicious. All of our guests commented how wonderful everything was. Mark insured that everything was ready on time and kept the food flowing. The servers, Gilda & Dionne and the bartender, Carolina were also excellent. They were professional, friendly, efficient and made all of our guests feel welcome and well fed. And, at the end of the night, everything was cleaned up and put away which was “icing on the cake”!
Thanks to all of their hard work, they helped make our celebration a HUGE success! We definitely recommend “Catering by Mark” to everyone and I am sure the guests that attended will all do the same!Catering by Mark's reply:

Mark and Blanca were wonderful to work with! Both made the planning process run smoothly and provided great insights when it came to not only catering, but overall logistics. The food was delicious and the team was wonderful to work with. So many of our guests raved about how delicious the taco buffet was. From the tasting, to the wedding, and even packaged left overs we got to enjoy for a few days, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you for being an amazing part of the best day of our lives! -

Best Caterer Ever
We enjoyed working with Mark and Blanca from our very first interaction. They were helpful in all decisions, thinking about our needs and guests' needs. As the time of the event drew near, they made sure all details were addressed. The food was incredibly delicious and each guest reported enjoying the meal from appetizer to dessert. We are so grateful and want to give a tremendous thank you to Chef Mark, Blanca, and their team for executing our Wedding Day in January 2023. You and your staff were highly organized, commutative, and overall easy and professional to work with. Everything was precisely as we imagined: the floor plan and flow of the buffet, linens, table setup and food was extraordinary. For a couple that was planning a destination wedding, you created trust and executed it exactly as discussed. The staff managed to pour drinks, pass hor d'oeuvres, make dozens and dozens of Cuban coffees, bring guests desserts and made everyone feel welcomed. You and your team executed beyond our expectations. The best caterers!

Mark is great to coordinate and plan with. We went over our 200 count wedding venue details by phone and in person at the location only a few times and everything was low stress, easy planning, and everyone on the same page. On the day of, most of my vendors were late and had a domino effect of issues. Mark and his team were if not the only one, one of the few that when I went to go check on status, they were already there in the kitchen and hard at work and I heard of zero issues or need to check in all day. All the guest gave me many compliments on Mark and his team, the way they were dressed and spoke was very upscale as you would want at a formal event. Food looked great and had many compliments. Everything went according to plan and beyond to help out where needed and my favorite was the overall professionalism and on elegant side presentation of staff and food. They also passed out food during cocktail hour for our guest. We will be hiring Mark and his team in the future for other events we have going on! Appreciate you guys!Catering by Mark's reply:

My wedding was perfect and that was in large part due to Catering by Mark. From my initial inquiry to the day of, the communication was great, and I never felt worried or stressed at any point during my planning. I was able to completely customize my menu as well as my set up with no issue. Mark is very knowledgeable and had some really great suggestions but was open to what I wanted as well. Most importantly, the food was amazing too. I received so many compliments.Catering by Mark's reply:

Excellent service, outstanding professionalism and delicious food!
Catering by Mark was a hit at my wedding. Food was delicious from the appetizers to the main course; and their entire staff was amazing and so professional. I hired catering , bar services and all rentals from them. Everything came out beautiful and delish! My husband and I, and all guests were extremely happy. All I can say is WOW. Mark was absolutely amazing, not to mention his wonderful team and wife. She was so quick to respond to all of my inquiries, and Mark always showed up to all meet and greets on time. His food was delicious, his customer service was amazing, he was incredibly on top of all of our needs during our wedding, and he was so kind doing it all. His wife also helped us put together our dream arch. I will certainly be using him for any events I plan and I highly recommend him. Jennifer Sent on 07/03/2018Perhaps the biggest component to planning a wedding is hiring a caterer. My husband and I reached out to a few caterers in the South Florida area, and we went with Catering by Mark because of their selection, pricing, and how easy it was to contact them. (Denise orchestrates everything, and Mark does the cooking.) What I love about them is that they are accustomed to catering for a wedding, and pretty much have everything scheduled out as soon as you hire them. They were able to rent the linens and additional tables and chairs, which was a huge relief. Perhaps the most helpful part was how easily Mark was able to create a timeline for our wedding day. We used that in other aspects of our planning, and were confident that the timing would work.
The day of the wedding went exactly as planned. I could just enjoy the day, without worrying, which makes them worth it. Everyone really seemed to enjoy the food and drinks. I noticed that all the staff were extremely friendly to our guests, which was great to see. My family even took me aside to tell me about one particular server who went above and beyond for them. These are truly great people.
My only gripe was that some guests wanted the vegetarian option that we made sure was available, but some didn't know about it, and others said they had to ask for it as if it was from a secret menu. Overall, I would definitely recommend them for their value, friendliness, and taste. -

Thank you Mark & Blanca for all your hard work! The food was very good. I enjoyed the h’or dourves, and the buffet. However, 4 tables didn’t receive rice. I know this wasn’t your fault, this was the venues lack of attention, as the servings they were giving the first couple of tables was a mountain of rice. I do wish Mark was present to oversee the servers who were serving the food, to correct them on the proportions. -
