Working with Cassandra and her team is literally like a dream. They are professional, talented and really care about the overall client experience. Setting a calm yet fun tone to the beginning of our client's wedding day which gives them the boost for the rest of the day. I highly recommend working with Cassandra when you get the chance! Made my dream wedding
I cannot express enough the amazingness that is Cassandra Kennedy beauty. From the beginning consultation, to the trial, to the actual wedding day; I was beyond thrilled with everything. The business is handled wonderfully by Cassandra, who is so responsive, flexible, and kind. But even though I didn’t work with Cassandra her team was incredible! Megan and Christina knocked it out of the park! They are so professional and down to earth and extremely talented ladies! They only added to the memory of the day! Highly recommend booking with these ladies, your wedding dreams will come true. -

Best decision ever (both for actual services and critical calming presence)
Cassandra was positively amazing - had initially decided to go with another company but after a poor trial realized I needed someone who really knew their craft. Cassandra was worth every penny and then some. Not only is she a master at her craft, but extremely intuitive, calming, and generally fun to be around. Her years of experience in the NYC wedding scene really shows through and she is able to capture your best self with the least amount of product needed. She also had the most incredible presence - I was really stressed during our trial and she immediately made note and sat me down to talk about it, providing a lot of guidance and laughs to get me out of it and on my way. She made my MOH & mom feel like rockstars as well which I really appreciated. I cannot overstate how critical she was to the day and how much more confident I felt with her help. 100% recommend. -

Whelp, I visited this site, Wedding Wire, and The Knot, hoping to post a big ass review praising everything about Cassandra, but everything on those rave reviews is true, so I'm just going to upvote them. A couple stories instead.
1. My niece ( 2 1/2 years old) who, like any toddler, is more interested in running around in circles than anything or anybody else, stopped in her tracks when I emerged from the make-up room with Cassandra on my wedding day. She gasped. "You look puh-reeeeety!!!"
2. My nephew (10 years old) who, like any young boy, is not interested in complimenting his aunt, had a jaw drop and said, "It's still your face, but better!"
I mean...what two higher compliments are there?
In sum, Cassandra is a calming artisan. She chats to you about your vision before she does anything, she'll keep the vibes ideal and, if she brings an assistant (we had Renee), she will also be a goddess of beauty. As an aside, my mother and my mother-in-law were both anxious cases, with my mom having all kinds of makeup allergies, and my mother-in-law scared to death of looking too done up, and I had to worry not at ALL with Cassandra and Renee in charge. Those women were, as Cassandra said, "totally feelin themselves" when they walked out of that room. Thank God. Instead of dealing with it myself, I just had a mimosa and kept on living my life.
Attached are photos of me, my maid of honor (Renee did her hair!), and my mother in law at the very end of the day, mind you! Her pic was taken 8 hours AFTER getting it all done, on an 85 degree, humid, day!
Anyhoo, I love Cassandra and she is a shooting star. Get her while you can. -

We've had the pleasure of referring clients to Cassandra and her team for several years. All of our brides and their ladies have loved their looks. I took this referral for granted until having Cassandra do bridesmaid makeup on me. As a new mom, there haven't been many days where I've worn much makeup and I haven't really felt like myself in... well, years. Cassandra made me feel so beautiful - a younger, fresher, more alive (awake) version of myself. She's truly an artist and such a sweet person to boot. Thank you, Cassandra for not only taking care of all of our ladies over the years, but for making me feel beautiful too. You're a gem! -
Kristi Sent on 08/22/2018Can I give more than 5 stars?? Cassandra and her assistant did a stellar job with bridal and bridal-party hair and makeup for my summer wedding. She is funny, no-fuss, honest, and so chill/calm (very important on your Big Day!) Super professional-- arrived EARLY and brought all her own setup equipment. My mom was so thrilled with how Cassandra did up her short, tricky curly hair-- such a pretty MOB-do! She ALSO pulled off some kind of magic with my hair-- seriously, the girl has some real tricks up her sleeve and was able to install a hairpiece in my super-fine, super-thin hair for a gorgeous updo that looked totally real. It held up like concrete, too, even with a veil-stepping-incident pulling at it, and a windy/sweaty day. My makeup was perfect-- exactly what I wanted! It looked like the prettiest version of me, without seeming like I had a ton of makeup on. She even did eyelash extensions! The makeup also held up beautifully for the whole wedding, no running mascara even with tears... I felt guilty cleaning it off at the end of the day! Most of all, though, she was a calm and soothing presence during a very hectic get-ready. She even stayed later than her contracted time to help out my photographer, and touch me up during our first looks, and wrangled my wedding party too. Cassandra was my wedding HERO and I am so grateful to her. She truly went WAY above and beyond-- so worth the pricing. HIGHLY recommend!
PS--- her assistant artist did an awesome job, too-- my stepdaughter is obsessed with makeup and said it was the BEST makeup job she's ever had (high praise!) -

Jessica Sent on 07/15/2017I worked with Cassandra's associate stylist, Jessica, and she was amazing! Both of the mother's and myself got both our hair and makeup done and it turned out perfect. Jessica really listened to the specifics we all wanted and during my trial run, offered suggestions along the way to help customize the look. Also, Cassandra was very responsive with any questions that I had and made the process super easy. Would definitely recommend! -

Sara Sent on 12/30/2016I was flying in from Arizona to have my wedding in Portland, Oregon. My photography friend gave me a list of bridal makeup/hair artists she knew. Out of that list I emailed Cassandra and she was so open to help and explained everything to me. I decided to go with her because I knew she'd respect my wishes of a very classy, clean, minimal style. It's so hard to find someone who does makeup the way the client wants it and not do the same style on every girl because that's what they're good at. Cassandra was amazing!! I flew in 3 days prior to my wedding and met with her right when I landed. She was very understanding when I was a little late, and made me feel like home in a new state. After the trial run I was beyond excited for my actual day! The day of the wedding she seemed to effortlessly to keep away my "wedding day jitters" with other fun stories and lighthearted conversation. She's progressional, personal, respectful, and far beyond talented! I had so many compliments on my hair and everyone loved the makeup. I even had my husband's friends tell me how great my makeup looked weeks after the wedding. If Cassandra could make my husband's friends marvel, she'll definitely make your wedding day a day you'll love forever. -

Lisa Sent on 06/23/2013Cassandra is such a talented artist! She made me look so beautiful on my wedding day and it still looked like me! She listened to my concerns and ideas and gave her expert opinion.
I also had her do my sister, my mother and my 15 year old niece bridesmaid. She made everyone look so beautiful and age appropriate.
Additionally, she is hilarious and so fun to be around. She adds so much laughter and joy to what could be a very stressful time. I highly recommend her!

Jonquil Sent on 06/11/2017I'm so glad that I found Cassandra! I'm someone who rarely wears makeup and knows very little about it. She was approachable and down-to-earth while also being incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in her work. The trial went great and she was open to my input. She made some suggestions (eye cream!) that made a big difference in the months leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding she applied my makeup and I hired her to do hair and makeup for some of my bridesmaids in my home. She was organized, prompt and just plain fun to have around that day! Also I just loved how my makeup turned out and lasted for the wedding. I received many compliments. I look forward to seeing more of her in her new salon/studio!
