Cassie is the best photographer! We wanted photos that really captured the emotion of the day and to last a lifetime. Although we did do some posed photos what I absolutely love is all the candid moments to relive the day and remember it. She captures light/dark like no other and we will treasure these photos. If you are on the fence just book her, you will not be disappointed! -

From the moment we booked with Cass, she became so much more than just our wedding photographer. She became a friend. 🥹 She was a steady, calming, supportive presence throughout the entire planning process, someone we could lean on, reach out to, and even vent to when things felt overwhelming. Her energy was exactly what every couple needs during the chaos of wedding planning; grounding, reassuring, and genuinely caring.
We had the best time during our engagement shoot with Cass. We had no idea what we were doing but she made it so easy and most importantly- FUN. The photos left us absolutely speechless. We always knew Cass was the right choice, but we could never have imagined just how beautifully, and how magically she would bring our memories to life 🥹
On the day of the wedding, I was so overwhelmed and she continued to bring me back down to earth with her calm presence and unwavering kindness and support. She and her team were iconic on the day and everyone had so much fun with them.
When we received our wedding gallery, we were absolutely blown away. Every image felt ethereal—soft, emotional, timeless—and yet so true to who we are. Cassie shot our intimate wedding ceremony in the park this past fall. She was so flexible with our plan and really made us feel comfortable the entire time. Her professionalism was pointed out by family members and her expertise really put us at ease. We loved how she gave direction on where to stand, where to put our hands, poses to do, etc. the pictures are absolutely gorgeous. She captures the light in such a beautiful way. Ontop of all of that, she is super sweet and friendly! Highly recommend! -

Cassie is the best photographer we’ve ever had experience with! We chose her for our engagement photos as well as our wedding photography and videography with super 8 film.
While looking into photographers, as soon as I saw her website and instagram I knew she would bring all the magic & moodiness style into her work like she does her page.
She was everything we could hope and wish for in a photographer from the first experience to the big finale. She was lovely, kind, attentive, easy going, informative, playful, and a true professional! Her assistant with super 8 was also very nice and did a wonderful job filming our special day. They both were also extremely patient with our crazy bridal party of 10 bridesmaids/ 10 groomsmen, parents, family and more!
If we ever get the chance to book Cassie again for something else one day we 100% will! Highly recommended- 1000/10 experience.

As soon as I saw Cassandra’s work, I knew she was the one that had to capture our wedding! Her work is just stunning, some shots looking straight out of an old romantic movie, and others like a painting from a master artist. She did a great job at moving us into spots where the lighting was good, and found a spot at our venue that was never used for photos before. It ended up having the most whimsical and ethereal photos that were my favorite! She has such a great vision for what will make for the best photos, and her editing of the lighting and colors is so well done. Everything from our wedding day looks even more beautiful in the gallery she sent, and I’m so glad we had such an amazing person capture the day so well.
Not only were the photos and our 8mm video beyond gorgeous, but Cassandra made the whole experience as easy as possible and made us feel so comfortable! I never know how to pose and usually feel awkward in front of a camera, but Cassandra and her team made the whole experience much easier by slightly directing us to do things to create natural and genuine expressions. She also had a timeline and gave a great rundown of what to expect on the wedding day. Going off her timeline made everything run so smoothly and we had so much time to just relax and enjoy the night soon after the ceremony.
I would HIGHLY recommend Cassie and her team to anyone looking for a photographer they can trust, and for someone looking to have the most magical gallery that WILL make them cry when they get the photos back (which we got way quicker than we thought too!). I would also highly recommend the 8mm video, it captures the feeling of the day so well and has a nostalgic, beautiful quality to it. We are so happy we found her and booked her for our wedding, and I hope you do too! -

Cassandra and her team were incredible. From the engagement shoot to the day of the wedding, Cassandra made us feel taken care of, comfortable, and most importantly excited!! After seeing my engagement photos, I was so excited to have a photographer I can trust to manage my timeline, make us feel beautiful and provide AMAZING photos. Leading up to the big day, she sent us a timeline to follow the morning of (which is chaotic to say the least), made a checklist of things to have prepared, and ensured our list of photos we needed to take with family were all fulfilled. Our day was truly so calm and seamless. I will look back on these photos for the rest of my life and I could not have asked for better photos from my big day. I highly recommend Cassandra and her team, you will not be disappointed!! -

Cassandra traveled all the way from NY to MA to capture our special day and was incredibly accommodating to our micro-wedding, working within a tight 2 hour timeline. Not only did she help us plan out the perfect wedding timeline to make sure everything was captured, but they also made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. Her photo editing is exactly the whimsical vibe we wanted. My husband and I are so happy with our photos and we can't wait to share them with everyone-which is so hard because they all came out stunning!!! We're so happy we chose Cassandra to capture of fairytale wedding. As a couple with a low wedding budget-her talent is worth every single penny as we consider her art one of our new prized investments :') We couldn’t recommend her more!!

Best photographer ever
Cassandra was absolutely incredible. We could not have hired a better person to help make our day so perfect. Her energy was pure and delightful to have around us through out the day. Which is what you need especially on your wedding day. The details and the perfection of each photo was captured so beautifully. Our friends and family have raved about every single photo and were shocked to see how fast the turn around time was to getting us the previews and final album. Working with Cassandra was absolutely amazing. She helped create a curated timeline to make sure to maximize our time together, and make sure we got all the moments we wanted captured. My wedding was just over a month ago and one of my favorite parts was having Cassandra as my photographer! She’s extremely versatile! When we originally talked I told her and showed her examples of my style and lighting I liked she not only accommodated what I want but added her style and expertise to every photo! I received a sneak peak within a couple weeks of my wedding and now have received the full range of photos ALREADY! Every photo tells a story and really captures the love and excitement from our special day! If you’re questioning, DONT! It was slightly more than what I wanted to spend (as was everything I did for my wedding lol) Cassandra worked with my budget and helped me figure out what was doable in the amount of time purchased. Her service was worth every penny and will provide us with the best memories of the best day for the rest of our lives. Who can put a price on that?! LOVE LOVE LOVE Cassandra and work! -

Cassie and her team were perfect for us! From our initial zoom meeting Cassie was kind and comfortable to speak with, had quick and professional communication, and was interested in our love story and how to capture it! We chose to have Cassie do an engagement shoot for us, which was really great allowing us to get to know her and for her to know us, get some gorgeous photos of us not in wedding attire and get more comfortable having our picture taken a lot! On our wedding day we chose to have Cassie and her team with us for 10 hours which was perfect, as it allowed photos to be efficient but not rushed, and to not worry about getting each event in before she left. We had a timeline worked out with Cassie and general times where she noted that she would like to do golden hour photos. We did all bridal party photos pre ceremony as we did a first look and completed portrait photos after the ceremony with family. We also opted for Super 8 film with her and this was AMAZING. This is such a unique way to capture the day, it is aligns so much with our style, and it is so nice to be able to go back and watch a video of the day as well as look at all the beautiful stills. Cassandra, Olivia and Jules were also the most calm and wonderful humans to work with. Doing their thing while chatting with us and keeping the energy around us elevated but not chaotic. They even helped drive me up the hill to grab my outfit change! We will never stop recommending Cassandra Daye Photography to anyone who asks and we can't wait for the next time we need professional photos done again! If you want gorgeous photos, unique video, and a team of professionals that truly care and listen, reach out the her as soon as possible! -

Second to deciding to marry my husband, the love of my life, hiring Cassie as our wedding photographer was the best decision I have ever made. Totally fantastic
From the beginning, Cassie was an absolute pleasure to work with. My wife (and especially me) are a little goofy and not super comfortable in front of a camera. From our initial zoom chat, to our engagement shoot, we felt totally at ease. We spent our session giggling and got gorgeous photos from it. She captured our silly, our romantic and made us look like rock stars. During our wedding day, Cassie and Beth were incredibly helpful, calm and were the perfect shepherds for our chaos. They reminded us to take moments together and checked in on our needs throughout the day. We received a preview album while we were still on our honeymoon and were blown away. The wedding gallery, also delivered early, was magic. Almost every single guest has at least one beautiful portrait. The joy and tenderness of our day is captured in every shot. The only downside is one we are happy to have - so many photos to choose from when we make our album! We would happily, whole heartedly recommend Cassie and her team to anyone. -

Okay. I don't even know where to start. Cassie was THE BEST wedding photographer who exceeded all of our expectations. I knew we would vibe based off just our first phone call, and I have to admit, I didn't look at too many photographers because I immediately knew Cassie was the one for me. I loved her style - it's so unique and fun. The goal for our wedding was the throw an epic party, and Cassie's photos perfectly captured that! We were looking for a wedding photographer as I found Cassie through Instagram. Right away her photos captured my attention. I inquired and Cassie got back to me right away. We set up a time to have a phone meeting to discuss details since both of us were not familiar with photo shoots. Cassie made the process of booking very easy and comforting. She was super friendly and answered all of our questions and concerns step by step as well as what to expect throughout the day. The day of the wedding Cassie and her lovely assistant showed up early to scout the location and go over all the timeline details. She captured our entire day from the bridal suite, first look, family photos, ceremony, the reception, and most importantly all the laughs and special moments. The whole process was very smooth and the photos came out absolutely stunning. We never had our photos taken professionally before and she made us look like naturals! We would definitely recommend Cassie :) -

Winter Wedding
Book Cassie ASAP! We were so so so happy working with her. She is so nice and has the best eye for portrait locations. I mean, I knew our venue was beautiful but Cassie scouted the best of the best locations. And we couldn't be happier with our photos.
The day of Cassie was a huge help. And she has such a calm and professional attitude, she put myself and my wedding party at ease. We had a blast with her!
Cassie was more than willing to help with any wedding aspect, not always relating to photography. I didn't take advantage of her wedding knowledge and I regret that so I'm telling you all - she's a genius and will make your wedding/elopement/event an incredibly memorable experience. -

Perfect wedding photos
I found Cassie on Instagram and my husband and I were immediately drawn to her work. We booked her as soon as we could! Cassie was easy to communicate with and quickly had our engagement session scheduled. From the first time we met for our engagement shoot, Cassie made my husband and I feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. Our engagement photos turned out STUNNING! I knew we made the right decision. Unfortunately we did have to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and thankfully Cassie was available for our new date. She coordinated with my wedding planner and my husband and I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of our wedding. Cassie had a second shooter with her the day of and Beth was also very accommodating and pleasant to be around. Again, my husband and I were instantly at ease in front of the camera with Cassie and Beth. They were able to capture our wedding day and touching moments perfectly. From detail shots to family portraits our photos were beyond our expectations. Cassie was professional and courteous to everyone involved. All of our friends and family are blown away by our wedding pictures. My husband and I cannot thank her enough and would recommend Cassie to anyone getting married! -

Best decision ever, must book Cassie!
My husband and I are so happy that we worked with Cassie as our wedding photographer. She was very accommodating when we had to reschedule another year out due to covid, honoring our contracted rates. I really fell in love with her aesthetic, which was much more unique than the typical light and airy wedding photography that is common these days. If it isn’t her photo style that wins you over, it’s her warm and thoughtful personality that really closes the deal. Cassie and her assistant photographer Beth were a dream for us to work with, neither my husband nor I are naturally comfortable in front of the lens, but Cassie instantly made us feel at ease. Since we got married in December, we had limited light to work with, but Cassie pulled together the timeline flawlessly (with time to spare) and we were able to get some incredible shots offsite as well as in various locations at our venue. Our offsite location was undergoing major construction but you can’t tell at all in the final results! Cassie also went above and beyond her photography duties and helped me with details getting ready and working with the Maitre’d on various requests throughout the reception. Overall, I cannot recommend Cassie enough! The final photos are just incredible and we are having a really hard time picking our favorites to order prints!! Best decision we ever made throughout the wedding planning process was choosing Cassie! -

Best Choice Ever!
Cassie was an absolute gem, a true artist in her craft. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with a photography team. Neither my husband or I are naturals in front of the camera and she made us feel so comfortable and at ease and she got so many beautiful shots. I'd be remiss not to mention how well she managed the more rambunctious of the groomsmen, I don't know what kind of voodoo magic she had up her sleeve to pull that off but it was seriously impressive! -

Trust me, hire Cassie. If her gorgeous photos don’t fully persuade you to book with her then her warm, thoughtful, kind, attentive nature should solidify it. Cassie made us feel at ease since the very beginning. We had to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID and Cassie was incredibly accommodating and reassuring every time. We finally met her the day-of and it honestly felt like we had known each other for ages. She managed to wrangle the entire bridal party full of Hispanics all by herself, kept us on time and made the whole process easy and enjoyable! And the photos, OH MY GOD. The final results are so stunning that I’m having a *very* hard time narrowing down my favorites because it feels like they’re all my favorite. By far the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding journey. 10/10 -

Creative, Passionate, Easy to Work With!
We are so happy that we worked with Cassie for our wedding photos. We initially found her on instagram, and I was immediately struck by how her photos seemed more animated and emotional than other photographers I looked at. She was able to capture genuine feelings and expressions. My husband and I are not naturally good at taking photos but Cassie was able to put as at ease. Her style of candids/prompts took away all pressure, and we both ended up having a lot of fun. Cassie has a beautiful vision but was also very flexible in working with us as we are both very busy and did not have time to meet with her before the wedding weekend. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Cassie. She was professional, very sweet and very organized. Her photo schedule also allowed us to get the shots we wanted without having to miss any of our reception. We have already referred another friend who is using her for their wedding photos this summer because they loved our album so much! -

The PERFECT photographer!
I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Cassie! I found her via Instagram and fell in love with her "look". When we decided to have a private COVID mini-mony I reached out to see if Cassie was available during our short turn around. The minute we spoke to her, she was so personable and easy going I knew we would vibe. She was flexible with our timeframe and plan which helped us to be at ease through the process. Having the engagement shoot prior was the best thing. She definitely makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and get in the mood for all the love during the wedding process. We went into things feeling so awkward and yet we had the MOST fun - and the pictures turned out amazing! One short month after engagement photos, we had our private winter rooftop ceremony. Cassie was there bundled and ready to capture every moment. It was the best day I could have hoped for, and after seeing the photos I am truly blown away. I literally love every single photo. She captured the feeling of the day, every moment that we shared- and DAMN we look good too! I brag about her constantly and I promise you this will be the best & easiest decision of your wedding. Thank you Cassie for capturing my favorite day. -

Cassie was hands down our best wedding day investment. From our first conversation, I knew she was passionate and dedicated to her craft. Her creativity speaks for itself in her photos, but it also drips from her whole aura and down-to-earth personality. We first met Cassie in person at our engagement shoot. After some unfortunate weather challenges and a location change, I was a little cranky, but my salty attitude disappeared within 5 minutes of sitting with Cassie. She asked us some gentle, but pointed questions about our love story and suddenly I was having a blast! We bounced around for a bunch of different shots and backgrounds; she kept us moving, which we loved. She also provided thoughtful suggestions on how to place our hands or where to look, but gave us plenty of space to still be ourselves. Nothing felt forced. Needless to say, the final product was incredible! On top of it all, we had what was probably the most fun and romantic evening of our entire wedding planning experience.
Fast forward to the big day, Cassie and her assistant were like an extension of our friends and family. Their vibe was so genuine and helpful! Our day was perfect, and a big part of that was thanks to Cassie. Without her input on our timeline, I think we would've missed some really sweet moments alone together, plus the incredible shots that came with them. Cassie definitely doesn't play when it comes to golden hour! She organized some beautiful group and family photos without making any of it painful. When I was ready to say screw it to any additional photos, she took out my request list and brought me back to earth, reminding me I would want these pictures in a few weeks. Boy was she right.
We just got our full gallery a few weeks ago and I still can't quite put to words how perfectly she captured the essence of our special day. They are some of the most stunning photos I have ever seen. She caught every beautiful and raw emotion, every small and large moment. There was so much love there that day, I'm not sure anyone else could have captured it so exquisitely.
Cassie turned us into art.
So as I said before, hands down, Cassie was our best wedding day investment and I can't recommend her enough. I promise you will not be disappointed when you hire her! -

Cassandra's ability to capture the moment is pure magic. Her professionalism shows through in so many aspects. Her cues felt effortless and then captured the best photos of us as a couple. My wife claims to be awkward in front of the camera but the gorgeous photos say completely otherwise. Cassandra was able to make us both feel comfortable and relaxed.
My wife and I eloped in the midst of the pandemic in May 2020. Cassie was so accommodating about all of our changes in plans and helped us recreate our special day once again in October and the photos came out spectacular. I literally cried when I saw what she was able to capture.

I found Cassandra through instagram after searching alots photographer for my wedding. I was hoping to find the perfect one to capture my big day and as soon as I saw the profile of Cassandra on instagram, I immediately fell in love with the concept and the soul of every picture.
When I finally meet Cassandra on my big day, I knew everything will turn out amazing as I expected. And yes, she captured the Fall tone perfectly and the joyful feeling in ever photo, I couldn't ask for more. Cassandra works professionally and patient with me so I could get all the moments in this big day. All of my friends and family members was surprised with the final pictures when I show it to them. They said my photos could compare to the popular magazines. Hire her!!!!!!!
Cassandra was absolutely amazing! My husband actually picked her and I am soooo glad he did! It started with out engagement shoot, she picked an awesome location for us and met us an hour before the shoot to really get to know us! The pictures were amazing. For our wedding Cassandra was incredible and so accommodating. As every bride knows weddings don’t always go as planned. When the groomsmen weren’t ready when they should have been she immediately had another plan! I was so amazed by her photographs! I would highly recommend using her for your wedding/elopement!!! We loved her photos and she is the sweetest human ever! -

Devon and I first met Cassie while she was working at a friends wedding. Not only was she HIGHLY recommended, it was obvious just by looking at her pictures that she is really puts exceptional effort into every photo she takes. During our engagement shoot, Cassie eased our nerves by making us laugh and creating such a fun experience! She was very attentive & accommodating helping us plan our wedding in just a month. The timeline she created for us for the day of was so helpful and made the day stress free. Looking back at all the photos now, I am truly amazed on how she was able to be in all the perfect spots at the right time. It made us feel right back in that exact moment. Beautiful photography that captures the soul
Cassandra was first recommended to me by a mutual friend. Unlike the classic, light & airy photography that overran my social media, her style was bold with romance and adventure. When it came to meeting her, she was approachable, authentic, and the complete vibe we needed without even knowing.
Fast forward to rescheduling our June 2020 wedding and her true test of character came. Like all small business owners, I could only imagine the hit she felt due to the Pandemic. She remained understanding and rescheduled our new date into a tight schedule, with no fees or passive complaints -- just the utmost empathy and love.
When our wedding day finally came, I had a hard time picturing how it would go. Even despite the Pandemic, I’ve noticed photographers at other weddings who told couples where to stand, how to look, when to freeze. Cassandra is the complete opposite of this posed-perfectionism and instead let us create our own moments (with some guidance & Covid safety measures), making for the most emotional moments my entire life thus far.
Beyond capturing those moments, Cassandra was our wedding day time keeper, limo dj, dress taper, veil fixer, family portrait taker, and I may have even called her an honorary bridesmaid...
Ultimately, I hope you brides (and grooms) find what you are looking for—someone who captures your heart and soul, meets your vibe, and sees your magic. Looking back, I know there was no other other photographer for us but Cassandra. We will cherish her photos for the rest of our lives, show our grandchildren, and relive the best moments of our life. Cassandra has talent coming out of her pores! Not only is she a brilliant photographer, she hosts styled shoots for other photographers as well. I can genuinely say that the styled shoot i attended that was hosted by Cassandra Daye Photography was the most organized, well thought out one I’ve ever been to. Gorgeous florals, amazing vendors, stunning models, epic location. Not one detail was missed. She kept everyone safe (by taking precautions with COVID) and satisfied. I highly recommend her photography and styling (through her styled shoots as well as styling help for weddings & elopements). -

Perfect photos!
Working with Cassie was an absolute dream! She was the most responsive and attentive out of all of our wedding vendors. We did both engagement and wedding photos with her. We were nervous about our engagement photos, but she made us feel so comfortable and it made photos on our wedding day that much easier. On the wedding day, she was great at keeping us moving along and corralling family, but was still relaxed and having fun with us. She is a true artist and takes the most beautiful shots. Knows how to get the right lighting, positions, editing, etc. I can't recommend her enough. The photos speak for themselves! -

There’s really no need to write a review, photos speak louder than words and if you just check out Cassie’s portfolio you’ll want to hire her! I’m sure she’s just as talented as capturing a traditional wedding, but I imagine the skill needed to capture an elopement is that much greater, and Cassie has definitely got it! She was wonderful to work with, was so flexible throughout our covid elopement planning, and for beautiful photos to us quickly. I am so so happy we hired Cassie as our photographer. The day was perfect and she did a beautiful job documenting it! -

Cassandra and her team were simply amazing. I cannot get over how kind, professional, talented, and most of all HELPFUL Cassandra was for our wedding. My husband & I live about 2 thousand miles away from were we got married, and Cassandra not only gave her best recommendations for vendors, but she showed us around a couple days before our wedding when we arrived, and she was our wedding coordinator for the day. She was on time for every single step, kept us on track, and provided the absolute most gorgeous photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
Our first encounter with Cassandra was when we took a trip to NY to see family and scope out potential wedding venues. I looked online for hours (because I am very picky) to find the perfect photographer, quite honestly, it was a top priority for us to have the best photographer we could afford. I came across her website & fell in love with her aesthetic. I could tell that she puts a lot of though, time, and creativity into her work. I randomly reached out to her to see if she would accompany us on a hike (within a couple days notice) to take our engagement photos. This lady TOOK A HIKE with us during a mildly cold afternoon and shot all of our engagement photos.
She is truly committed to making your day as special and memorable as possible. I cannot say enough great things about what she does for couples.

Cassie is a true artist. She is a complete dream of a photographer, her passion and love for her art is incredible! She is patient and takes the time to make sure every shot counts. Working with Cassie was one of the best decisions that we made regarding our wedding. We highly recommend Cassie! We chose her because her photos were so amazing and we hoped that ours would look as good. Wow, she delivered! All of the photos she sent us are amazing and better than we could have imagined. Selecting our favorite photos is literally impossible!!! She did excellent job of taking very cool styled photos but also taking the most adorable candid photos capture all of the feelings. I found Cassie on Instagram and was immediately drawn to her style. She had some of the most beautiful backdrops for the photos and most of the photos are candids. When I reached out to her, she was welcoming, informed, and professional. she was easy to work with from start to finish and knew what she was doing the whole time. She came to my home in Brooklyn for an engagement shoot and took the time to get to know my fiancé and me before beginning the session. It was a nice touch and she certainly didn't need to do it, but it made both of us trust her and feel more comfortable awkwardly posing over the next two hours. On the day of the wedding she was self sufficient, finding her way around the campgrounds to get all the photos of the morning. After the ceremony she organized over 100 folks who needed to get pictures with me and my (now!) husband. For the bridal party and couple photos, she really captured "us". The pictures are authentic, stylish, and beautiful. I've seen other photos of people who got married around the same time I did and while their photos are nice, they're stock photos anyone could have taken. Cassie really put her own touch on each photo and knew how to capture each moment of the day. I'm so happy everytime I look back at how she captured the best day of my life and I'm so lucky I found her. Thank you, Cassie!! -

So attentive to our needs and understanding of our vision!!
Cassie made everything about our wedding day easy and enjoyable. She was SO understanding when I changed my mind 3+ times about ‘getting ready shots’ and made our lives so much easier by helping coordinate our entire timeline. We ended up doing a first look prior to the ceremony and I’m so grateful for Cassie giving us the freedom to be ourselves while she captured our private moments throughout the day. When the weather shifted halfway through, she was quick to make a new plan and adapt to our needs. During the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, Cassie did a wonderful job of getting some amazing candids of our guests, which has helped up relive the entire experience over and over again. I reached out to Cassie because her style of photography and the content on her website resonated with me. When I contacted her, I shared that my partner and I were getting married. It was our second marriage. It was a destination wedding. My partner lives in Belgium. I live between in Wisconsin. We each share placement with kids from our previous marriages. For nearly five years, we've spent about 7-10 days a month with each other. While it will be a little quirky navigating a long-distance marriage, our parents can join us now. A few years from now and we aren’t so certain.
All that said, we wished to create a day that felt romantic, intimate and inclusive. We hoped to create connections between our friends and family across an ocean. They all know us. We hoped that when they left Albany, they would know each other. We also wanted to create an experience that was an expression of who we are – authentic, playful, adventurous and grateful to the people who make our lives and relationship possible.
As I worked with Cassie, I knew I made a great choice. Through the whole process she made it easy and on the day of our wedding she helped us capture the photos we knew we wanted while navigating the dynamics of our crew. When Ruth and I looked at the photos, I was and am incredibly grateful for our choice. Cassie’s photos captured the essence of what we hoped to express that day. -

Working with Cassie was one of the best parts of our wedding. Like most couples, we weren't used to being photographed and Cassie put us completely at ease from the engagement shoot (definitely do one even if you don't think you need the photos!) to pre-ceremony photos through the end of the night. It ended up pouring on our wedding day which could have been a disaster but Cassie's incredibly calm demeanor made us forget it was even cloudy out - and we got some incredible shots. Her ability to think on her feet, anticipate great shots, and work with your ideas is unparalleled. It really felt like hanging out with a friend rather than having a hired photographer around. Plus the final product is beyond - I literally gasped aloud when I saw the first shots from our day. I was not looking forward to getting my picture taken as I don't consider myself comfortable in front of the camera, but she made those moments and that day SO easy! Nothing about our wedding was really "conventional," so to say that she rolled with the punches is probably an understatement. From wrangling 13 (yes...13) groomsmen, our winding road to the bottom of the a bridge, & the rainbow at the end of the night, she was there every step and captured every moment perfectly! I'd highly recommend Cassie for anyone who wants amazingly beautiful memories!

Our wedding was a bit unconventional because it was broken out over the course of 2 days (City Hall and Reception a day later) and required 8+ hours of coverage. I spent weeks looking for a quality photographer within our budget but always found myself disappointed. I happened upon Cassandra from her Instagram and was immediately drawn to her style. When I reached out I also really appreciated her communication style and that she understood our particular circumstance and was willing to work with it.
My fiance and I were flexible to a fault and really wanted to give ourselves over to Cassandra's vision and photographic eye. I think a lot of photographers would have found that lack of guidance alarming but Cassandra arrived to City Hall having scouted some areas nearby and had great ideas of what we could do. Over the course of 2 days we bounced around from Manhattan to Brooklyn and the results are just epic.
When I reached out to other photographers I definitely felt like I was just another number to them and they didn't care about the uniqueness that we were going for. It was great working with someone who not only has talent but still made us feel like we were special. Cassandra gave of the vibe that she was just as excited to be shooting our wedding as we were being in the wedding.
In short, Cassandra was great. I would highly recommend her because when its your special day you want a good person with a good energy to share it with you. -
