My daughter and her fiancé, were married at the Cass House September 2023. We can pretty much say it was a perfect experience. Our guests expressed several times what a wonderful wedding and reception it was . Their chef and catering service was 5 star. They truly met every need and made us all feel at home for the two days we rented the venue. I had the pleasure of staying in the house with my daughter the night before the wedding. The house is amazing. The Cass House coordinator was a pleasure to work with and worked well with our coordinator. The wedding and evening was truly magical. We would definitely choose Cass House all over again.It was perfection.

Alex Fuss was simply superb. Polite, engaging, available, professional, supremely responsive, she applied her intimate knowledge of locations and vendors that surpassed our every hope. Policies were clearly explained, concise conversations resulted in a crystal clear exprectation of the event and the events leading up to it.
Simply put, if you want a professionally organized and operated wedding, party or event; this is the place to go and Alex is the person you want to work with.

My husband and I just got married here this past September. We wish we could relive our wedding day at The Cass House! It is a hidden gem and Alex Fuss, along with The Hatch Rotisserie, were so fabulous. Everyone raved about the food and noticed how amazing our coordinator was. We love you guys so much!

Cass (and Alex!) were the perfect choice for our wedding. The venue is of course gorgeous- but the Cass House Team is what deserves the real praise. Alex is a zen master who will make you feel so comfortable and relaxed through the whole process. She is the one who made our day so perfect. Even when we asked questions or asked to change things- she was extremely flexible and calm. Everyone we encountered from the team that day was friendly, personable, and added all the best vibes for our special day. 10000% would recommend!

Alex certainly made this wedding effortless for my fiance and I. Her calm demeanor and obvious experience with wedding planning made our special day absolutely flawless. The Cass House was first described to me as a “well-oiled machine” and that absolutely rang true. My husband and I wanted something small and intimate. Neither of us knew where to start. Alex guided us through the whole process with thoughtfulness and kindness. She understood our “vibe” right off of the bat, even when we weren’t quite sure ourselves. Wedding planning has a way of throwing you off course, particularly with family opinions and social pressures. Alex helped remind us of who we are and why we were there. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. We worked with the venue’s recommended vendors - Cate Beth Photography, Daniel Freeman (Officiant), and DJ Malik. All were fantastic. The Hatch catered and WOW. The food is phenomenal. Both our families still comment on how perfect our wedding was — both because we stayed true to ourselves and because of the beautiful, intimate setting. Not to mention, the beach and the bluff right next to the venue made it the perfect location for activities and photographs. Cayucos is a hidden gem and so is the Cass House! We are so grateful to have had our most special day there. It all came together perfectly.

Alex, Chef Cory, and the entire team at Cass House was an absolute dream to work with. They answered all of our questions along the way and made for a day that was truly perfect. The property is beautiful even without decor, and everyone RAVED about the food. Seriously, we had multiple friends go to the Hatch in Paso Robles (the sister restaurant that does the catering) the day after the wedding to get the same meal they had at the wedding again! Alex truly felt like a friend throughout the planning process, and made it as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. She was so warm, kind, and communicative, I'd love it if she could plan my entire life for me! All that to say, Cass House was absolutely worth every penny, and all of our friends and family had nothing but wonderful things to say about the wedding.

tl;dr - If you’re looking for an intimate wedding venue and an all-star vendor team, stop whatever you’re doing and book a venue tour at Cass House. You won’t regret it!!

My husband and I found Cass House serendipitously. We were looking at other venues in the Central Coast area and wondered if The Hatch, one of our favorite restaurants in Paso Robles, was available to cater. Instead, we discovered that The Hatch is the exclusive caterer for Cass House and our curiosity led us to the small, quaint beach town of Cayucos. Everyone seems to know everyone in Cayucos, and the family-oriented vibe is exactly what drew us into Cass House. Friends become family here.

Cass House is so dreamy with a lot of charm and character; the beach is also right across the street. Estero Bluffs is less than a 5 minute drive away and the perfect location for sunset photos. The venue is the perfect setup for a wedding during COVID since both the ceremony and reception areas are all outdoors. We had a total of 58 guests and we all felt very safe. Our guests appreciated that our events were at the same place; most of them booked hotels in Cayucos and loved having the option of walking to the venue. It’s a naturally beautiful venue that doesn’t need much to dress it up, and really comes alive at night.

We highly recommend working with Alex Fuss, wedding planner extraordinaire. We had to cancel our first wedding in Portugal due to COVID, but Alex put all of our fears, worries and concerns about planning a second wedding at ease from the moment we first exchanged emails. She is an incredibly empathetic, genuine and overall gem of a human being. Throughout the planning process, she was very communicative, thoughtful and supportive about our ideas. Alex is determined to give you the wedding of your dreams and remove all the stress that comes associated with planning a wedding. She worked with us closely to incorporate small details that were meaningful to us on our wedding day, and made everything feel so easy. I will never forget the image of her chasing down the Harmony Valley Creamery ice cream truck on Cayucos Ave because they were lost and late to our welcome event -- pure dedication on her part! It's been two weeks since our wedding at Cass House and I'm missing our regular interactions dearly.

The two added bonuses of choosing this venue include getting to work with The Hatch for catering and Bijou Bakery, the on-site bakery at Cass House, for our cake. As expected, the food did not disappoint. From our extensive tasting to customizing our menu, Chef Cory really understood and valued our love of food and turned our ideas into a reality. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the food was and everyone said it’s the best wedding food they've ever had. It’s still something we all talk about to this day! Our wedding cake from Bijou Bakery was also a dream. Jeniece and her team did an amazing job creating the cake (vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting - so simple but so good!) and we loved getting treats delivered every morning we stayed at Cass House. :)

We also highly recommend the rest of our all-star vendor team: Meg's Marvels Photography, Brooke Edelman Floral Design, DJ Malik Miko, and The 805 Booth. Each one made our wedding night incredibly special. I wish I could relive that night over and over again!

Cass House was an incredibly beautiful venue to host our August 2021 wedding that brought together friends and family from all over the country. From when we started planning in Jan 2021 to the Sunday goodbye brunch, Alex (Sage & Stone) helped us pull off an amazing and seamless event. We loved the whole team she helped us bring together (people are still talking about the roast chicken + apps from the Hatch!), but we were most grateful for Alex going above and beyond as our coordinator for helping us create the most memorable gathering.

I do not have enough amazing things to say about Cass House Cayucos. My husband and I toured many venue sites, but once we found Cass House, the rest was history. There is something SO beautiful, quaint, classy, yet modern about this venue. It truly speaks for itself. Being right next to the coast was just perfect for us as well. We wanted to be as close as possible to the ocean without having our wedding on the actual beach, this ticked all the boxes. You can literally hear the waves crashing from the venue. And the beautiful bluffs are a minutes walk away from the venue, perfect for our sunset wedding photos overlooking the ocean. The day of my wedding, my bridesmaids and I woke up in the Cass House to freshly baked goods from Bijou Bakery (the onsite bakery). Bijou Bakery also did our cake which was just so delicious! I will also say, Alex, the onsite coordinator, is AMAZING. Our wedding day would not have happened if it weren't for her. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding matched our vision, she coordinated everything with our vendors, never hesitated to hop on an phone call or respond quickly to emails, was so kind and genuine with the whole wedding process, always supporting us, offering her all her knowledge on the local vendors, and doing all she could to make our day happen. And most importantly, she made sure all our wedding planning was FUN! My husband and I look back at our wedding day and could not have picked a more beautiful, dreamy yet unique wedding venue. We highly, highly would recommend Cass House Cayucos and Alex to anyone!

Cass House was the perfect venue for us. It allowed us to keep our numbers small during unprecedented times. Alex was phenomenal and a great help to our wedding planning success. Her response times are almost quicker than mine. ;) The venue itself we chose because it's naturally beautiful and located between SF and LA allowing all of our guests from out of town explore a new area of California. We were so happy with our venue choice and never had any regrets. I can't say enough good things about Cass House.

The only thing more perfect than the cass house is Alex Fuss the wedding coordinator of your dreams. Everything was perfect for our big day, I could not recommend this venue or Alex more.

Let me start by saying I cannot recommend this venue and Alex (the onsite coordinator) enough!! I, like many 2020 brides, had to completely change our wedding. We booked the Cass House Cayucos within 3 months of our wedding day and it could have not gone smoother! Not only is the venue immaculate, it is reasonably priced for all that you get! Alex had so many local recommendations and followed up with every vendor so I didn't have to. Alex is a wonderful person and incredible at responding to emails quickly. Also, our cake and desserts from the onsite bakery, Bijou Bakery, were TO DIE FOR! Best desserts we have ever had. The Cass House is a perfect "covid" wedding venue because...
1. It is a 5-room hotel that we all could stay in away from crowds for the whole weekend.
2. Outdoor ceremony site.
3. Heated & covered outdoor reception site.
4. Literally across from the beach but the beautiful gardens protects you from the street crowd. Very private!
The Cass House crew were so accommodating and the venue has such quality and style without being a typical stuffy wedding venue. I would choose this venue a thousand times over, even if we didn't have to think about all things Covid! I am a bride who scoured many wedding websites for the perfect venue all over California and I didn't find another venue as unique as the Cass House Cayucos. Contact them now and you won't be disappointed!

There are not enough available characters to adequately describe how INCREDIBLE it was to work with Alex and the amazing Cass House team - they are the one in a million DREAM TEAM. In every way they went absolutely above and beyond for us and made the wedding planning process so much better and the wedding day that much more positive and FUN. She was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, meticulous, caring, positive, and mindful of what we wanted and made sure to bring it to life in the most amazing ways. After planning several iterations of the wedding (cause #coronabride), Alex's energy and the Cass House's good vibes completely transformed our vision of the day and made our microwedding absolutely everything we could have ever dreamt of and more.

The Cass House itself is absolutely gorgeous and you cannot beat the photos in and around the grounds. Through the package we chose, we were able to have use of the grounds for the whole weekend and it was so fun to have everyone get glam, get dressed, and get married all in one place! Alex even helped my MOH organize yoga on the lawn Friday morning for my family (literally like sitting in childs pose listening to the ocean pre wedding? sign me UP!!!).The facilities themselves were wonderful, clean, and give you the most perfect California beach town vibes- there is even the most amazing bakery on site that filled our bellies the morning of!

We worked with Hatch Catering too for dinner and WOW we still cannot get over how incredible not only the food was but the team that brought the experience to life! Every single dish was absolutely extraordinary and they took care of all of our dietary restrictions with incredible grace (like gluten free fish and chips?! DREAMY)

If you could not tell already we are massive fans of the Cass House and if you have any hesitation you should JUST DO IT because I guarantee you will not regret it one bit and it will bring so much joy to your wedding planning process.

The venue and staff are absolutely great! My brother and his wife were married there and they were fast and pleasant to accommodate us and all of our needs. The planner, staff and organization was top notch and extremely amicable. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and quaint. The house itself is beautiful and victorian style. The landscape was well maintained and perfectly groomed. It's a short half block walk to the pier and you can see the ocean from the front porch. On top of all of that, the food was delicious! I would highly recommend to interested parties!!! Thank you Cass House!

My daughter Kathryn and her Husband had their wedding reception and goodbye brunch here. I was somewhat apprehensive as I had never heard of the location let alone the venue. Prior to deciding we traveled to the location and MetJenna who guided us through the process. We fell in love with the venue and Jenna. Her attention to detail as well as making sure EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING was perfect made this an amazing event. We did not have a wedding planner but Jenna attended to things that she was not responsible for just BECAUSE. The grounds were perfect. The food was amazing with great table settings and wait staff that had a can do attitude and service with a smile. Jenna was everywhere and left nothing to chance. The brunch the next morning was just as amazing. I also was impressed with the rooms we had on site as well. If you are looking for a beautiful setting with great service look no further. I was no longer the nervous dad, and was just able to enjoy the smiles on my wife, the Bride and Groom. And our guests

The place:
Cass House is set in beautiful Cayucos, CA. My now husband and I stumbled upon this beautiful historic house when we were adventuring during one of our weekend getaways. We had lunch at The Grill and were impressed with the wine list, the food options, and the ambience. The outdoor pavilion looked perfect for events because of the décor, open patio area with twinkle lights above, and ample seating under the pavilion with simple yet elegant table and chairs underneath chandeliers. The landscaping around the pavilion is simple and manicured to not take away from the big beautiful house that is the bed and breakfast. When we went back months later to learn more about event options, we were in awe of the beauty of this house, bakery, and grill. It truly had everything we wanted! A space for 100 people for our reception, a gorgeous garden with gazebo to have the ceremony, a house for the bridal party to stay in for the weekend, and AMAZING food and wine. Since the grounds are manicured so nicely, you can either use that blank canvas to transform the space or dress it up with some extra floral to accent the beautiful greenery already on the grounds.

The staff:
The staff at Cass House is like family and I cannot say enough positive things about these kind, welcoming, and amazing people. Everyone associated with our event was treated so kindly and even when we would be there for a planning meeting or just to grab a bite to eat at The Grill or The Bakery everyone was so friendly! During the wedding weekend I felt like everything was taken care of and we were in good hands. The feedback from our guests said that the staff during the wedding weekend was amazing and so kind! The staff, especially Jenna our planner, is one of the main reasons why we chose Cass House. Her ability to individualize an event to make dreams come true is a talent like no other. She is able to provide so much input or none at all depending on your needs. I felt like I had the support I needed and was able to ask questions, get clarity, and different ideas to help create the vibe we wanted.

The food:
One of the reasons why we chose Cass House was for the food. Fresh ingredients, seasonal menu, and staples that The Grill is known for- like their empanadas –made deciding what to serve so tricky… we wanted everything!! We had so much fun planning out the food and trying different things but ultimately went with what my husband and I found to be our vibe. Again, the feedback from guests was that the food was phenomenal.

The planning process/coordination:
Planning a wedding while living 3 hours away wasn’t difficult with Jenna’s support. Everything was so clear and I felt like I had all the information I needed including what great vendors had already done events at Cass House as well as when I needed to have things decided. Personally, I made quick decisions and I truly believe that the space and beautiful grounds made everything so easy for me to plan and outline. No matter the intricacies or special family dynamics, Jenna can help guide you to make sure everyone is included in a way that feels natural and comfortable and is beyond professional and kind to everyone. Jenna is great at wrangling the circus the day of and making sure that everything is smooth. I have absolutely no idea what and if anything went wrong or didn’t go with the timeline during our wedding day because Jenna made everything seem so perfect and seamless.

I can truly and honestly say that my wedding day was better than I could have ever hoped because of the coordination from Jenna and staff to make sure we were well fed and watered, and smiling the whole time. It was amazing and I would have another event there just to work with this great staff and stay in that beautiful home!

Our experience with the Cass House was wonderful from start to finish. We knew it was the perfect venue for us instantly with it's mix of classic/historical and beachside California vibes. Plus, the food is AMAZING. Jenna and the whole team made the planning process effortless and so much fun. Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more, and we couldn't imagine it anywhere other than the Cass House.

This was the perfect day. I can’t think of a single thing that went wrong. From the ceremony to the food, everything was incredible. Jenna did such an amazing job making sure every little detail was perfect. I am so thankful to have had her and her team’s help. They really brought everything together. Jenna and the Cass House team helped to make my weddding weekend so special! Jenna made sure to handle every detail with class and poise so I did not have to worry about anything the day of.
We stayed at the Cass House all weekend, and loved our morning coffee and pastries from the Bakery, and enjoyed lounging in the parlor as we sipped champagne while getting ready.

This place is a gorgeous coastal garden dream! The grounds are beautiful and meticulously manicured - lots of green and beautiful flowers are everywhere. The event spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dance party made for perfect flow of events throughout the evening. You can see the ocean from the reception area and there was the glowing light around dinner time as the sun was going down that was just magical!

The house is charming and historic, with modern updates. Each of the 5 rooms are cozy, and have their own character. The downstairs master and salon area were perfect for setting up getting ready stations.

The food is TOP NOTCH! I am a total foodie and their high quality, beautiful presentation and locally sourced, seasonal menu is one of the reasons I chose this venue. They even have a garden for veggies and herbs in the back of the property. The appetizers, main course, sides, desert, wine and beer were all delicious and presented wonderfully. They cook over an open fire grill which is next to the pavilion dining area, so everything was served warm off the grill! I must also mention their bakery breakfast sticky buns and focacia is to die for!

Working with Jenna made planning my wedding effortless and smooth! She is so on top of everything and just has a great energy and is fun to work with. She quickly answered all of my questions and gave excellent tips on everything from speeches to décor. Everyone there is so sweet and welcoming. This is a special place and I will definitely be back to visit!

The Cass House has always been a dream of mine for my wedding. The people of the cass house are extremely professional and classy. They allow the couple, family and bridal party to enjoy the wedding itself. I wish I could give this venue 10 stars. The venue does almost everything. They take care of providing a gorgeous venue, intimate setting, and the most amazing menu. They are too notch and helped us enjoy the most perfect wedding.
