    The BEST most exceptional experience from beginning to end!!

    We cannot thank Kelly, the chef, and team for the most amazing time, attention to detail, flexibility, and the most AMAZING food and ambiance. We couldn't have picked a better reception location. Our family and friends are still talking about literally everything and how spectacular it was. They raved about the food. Top notch experience and we cannot thank you all enough!!!! Thank you for making our wedding ceremony beyond our expectations!!!!!

    Wedding Weekend

    WOW! Thank you so much for everything! Jennifer, Taylor and the entire Casa Monica staff are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Thank you so much for a fabulous weekend over the Night of Lights of 2019! This was our wedding weekend and we had our welcome party at the Casa Monica by the pool area. Our guests are calling this event "the first wedding." They had so much fun and the food was delicious, just overall an outstanding experience and amazing customer service. Our guests felt that our welcome party could have been our wedding! We received a meet and cheese tray during our first and second night stay it was delicious. Complimentary champagne upon our arrival was a fabulous touch as well! Our guests are still talking about it, we did our room block with you as well. So happy with our decision. You are all amazing to work with, Jennifer threw us an outstanding event! Bill the bell hop was awesome and gave us so many tips for our guests! We cannot wait to come back for another trip and come for our anniversary every year! :)

    Best night of our lives

    Best of St Augustine, best food, best service, all our guests were happy with the entire experience Kessler has to offer. Flexible and worked with us on everything. Great value.

    Best Overall Experience at Casa Monica!

    When we did our walk-through at Casa Monica, we knew from the moment we stepped in that having our wedding there would be magical. Every step along the way, Elizabeth and her staff made us feel special and important, and the level of service is incredible. Each and every staff member was well informed of decisions and the details of the day, and they were all willing to step up and help with any requests we had. Elizabeth is also extremely organized and calm - so if there was ever a moment of doubt on my end - she was quick to ease my nerves. The entire wedding weekend was flawlessly executed and against a beautiful backdrop at the hotel. Would 10/10 recommend!

    We had our cocktail hour on the pool deck and the reception in the larger ballroom at the Casa Monica. We LOVED this venue and working with their event planner, Elizabeth. Booking was easy and the pricing was transparent. As we neared the date of the event, Elizabeth was very responsive and easy to work with. We had a few unexpected issues with our guest list and RSVPs, but Elizabeth worked with us and our wedding planner to adjust as necessary. On the day of, Elizabeth took care of everything and it went off without a hitch! We would absolutely recommend the Casa Monica as a reception venue!!!

    Lisa was amazing, the wait staff was amazing, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing! Very, very satisfied with my rehearsal luncheon! Could not be happier!

    We knew when we walked through the door, we were in the right place. The location, the ambiance, and the facilities looked top notch. But you really never know how things will turn out, until your day has come and gone. So for anyone considering the Casa Monica for you wedding, don't think twice. From our first tour, to the contracts, to the food tasting, the room block and the venue itself....it was outstanding. It starts with the professionalism, and warm caring manner of the staff. And that never wavered from day one through the brunch the day after. Any concern we had was handled graciously and in a very timely manner. We were made to feel that our wedding was the most important wedding they had ever done. They promised us we would be able to relax and enjoy our wedding day, and we did. From the valet who first greeted our guests, the front desk who delivered our welcome bags, and the staff of well trained women in sales and catering who really made our magical day happen, Casa Monica gets an A++ in our book.

    Looking for a place that is reasonable and doesn't require a lot of decorating this is it. Place is gorgeous and even gives the bride and groom a free wedding night stay.

    Hands down the best choice of my entire wedding. From first meeting to the morning we checked out of our hotel after the wedding, Casa Monica exceeded my highest expectations. Tessa was our coordinator and she was stellar. For example: Tessa found out that my dad's birthday was the night of our rehearsal, so she had a bottle of scotch sent up to his room! Pretty much every evening my husband and I returned to our room we found some little surprise - like extra wedding cake after the ceremony, or a bottle of bubbly when we checked in. They helped us in every way imaginable, including making sure all our guests had rooms, even at the very last minute! I cant wait to come stay again and re-live the magic :)

    As a graduate of Florida State, majoring in history, one step into this hotel and you will see instantly why we chose the Casa Monica hotel for our wedding. Tessa and the event staff were absolutely amazing from day one to the day we checked out after our wedding. We had our ceremony on the Sultan's Pavilion, with the reception in the Flagler Ballroom. All of our guests had an amazing time and gushed about the hotel. We live in the panhandle of Florida, with all of our guests coming in from all over the country. So, being a destination wedding for all of us, planning could not have been any easier thanks to Tessa! Everything was perfect; the food, the drinks, the decor and ambiance. If you are thinking about having your wedding in St. Augustine, the Casa Monica needs to be on your list to check out. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary weekend!

    Courtney planned our amazing grooms dinner at the Casa Monica (pool side and pavilion). It is a stunning venue with an elegant/dreamy vibe. I wanted something a little more casual since we were having a formal wedding the following day and she and the chef provided us with a fun menu that hit the spot perfectly. We had a taco station, slider station and French fry station! It was all amazing! We also had two passed appetizers that were awesome as well. Courtney was great making the sure the night flowed smoothly and she responded quickly to all emails. I would definitely recommend the Casa Monica for any event! She also provided great recommendations for other vendors that were needed! Overall, everyone was so impressed with the food and how beautiful of a venue it is, there is simply nothing like it.

    The Casa Monica hotel was an amazing place to have our wedding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect. I would absolutely reccomend this to anyone looking for a wedding venue. We also received so many compliments from friends and family about how awesome it was.

    We chose the Casa Monica because they are the very best at hosting events in Northeast Florida. They lived up to our expectations. We left most of the details to them and did not fuss over décor as the venue itself is absolutely stunning. The food was 5 star - prepared by a Michelin trained chef from France. While we did not eat because we were too busy at our reception, our guests are still raving over the food. The event staff went out of their way to make sure that the bride and groom had drinks and opportunities to eat - even leaving a selection of the menu in our room to enjoy after the party ended. The guest rooms were gorgeous too.
    I would recommend this venue to friends and family for weddings, meetings, romantic getaways and more. We can't wait to go back!

    We are having our cocktail hour and reception at the Casa Monica hotel. I'm reviewing early because we were very pleased with the Event Coordinator, Noel. She answered every question we had thoroughly, has responded to every email or phone call we've had so far immediately (believe me, we've been a pain). So far they receive a 5/5. I will re-review after actual event!

    I was a destination bride planning a wedding from a long ways away. The Casa Monica was so easy to work with and on the big day everything was beautiful and perfect! I would recommend them to anyone!

    My wedding went perfectly and it had so much to do with the casa Monica! I never once felt stressed out about the venue! Linda and Courtney were amazing to work with. Courtney handled all the details and made me feel at ease the entire time. The food was amazing as well and I know my guests had a fabulous time as well!

    Everything was amazing! Since my first meeting with Linda Henry to plan my daughter's wedding to my last meeting with Courtney, all items fell into place just was we talked about, The food, service and atmosphere was over the top.

    Out guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Thank you Casa Monica!

    We actually had our son's rehearsal dinner and us along with numerous guests stayed at the Casa Monica.
    We were more than pleased with the staff and the family, friends and wedding party are still ranting and raving about the food at the rehearsal dinner. It exceeded all our expectations and would highly recommend The Casa Monica to anyone. We rented the Kessler Suite for the weekend to have a hospitality room for all our out of town guests and it was perfect except the air condition was not great. We did have quite a few people in the suite at all times so that may have been the problem. Other than that, no complaints at all.

    What an AMAZING reception venue! The hotel is perfect, Courtney and Linda are GREAT, and they made my day a WONDERFUL experience. I could not have asked for better service, a more caring staff, or a more beautiful place to hold our reception. Our day was perfect! Thank you to the whole Casa Monica team for making our day everything we dreamed it to be!

    Courtney with Casa Monica was fabulous with her ideas and suggestions. She helped me to stay within my budget. Everything went off without a hitch. I was planning from TX as my dtr lives in FL and I was worried about not being around more but was truely excited to know all details were covered. I did not have to hire another wedding coordinator as the Casa Monica did it all. The food was delicious and all details were covered. Everything happened on time and without incident. We did not worry about a thing and truely got to enjoy the day. Thanks you again Courtney.

    Our entire experience with the Event Planning group at Casa Monica was extremely positive. We were always treated kindly with patience, respect, and understanding. Courtney was our primary contact throughout the process and she did a wonderful job. The venue itself was beautiful and inspiring and was a significant reason why we did not have to spend too much time, energy, or money on decorations. The hotel staff was very accommodating and polite to not only us but all of our guests. Lastly, the food was absolutely delicious!!!

    We cannot put into words the gratitude we have for everyone at Casa Monica. They were so amazing to work with. They bent over backwards making sure everything was perfect, even when weather 18 hours prior to the wedding forced us into hours of changes. Our day was unforgettable because of Linda, Courtney and Karen who put so much thought and energy into our wedding. The food was phenominal, we received so many compliments that it was the best food they've had at a wedding. Top notch! Thanks so much!!!

    My Husband and I got Married at the Casa Monica Hotel April 26th 2013 - It was the perfect venue for our Wedding! We reached out to them to set up a meeting and met with Linda who showed us the ballrooms and the pool deck and we fell in love! Once the planning started we worked with Courtney on all the details! The Casa Monica Team and Courtney were HUGE life savers with our decor issue that popped up 3 days to the wedding! The Food was Fabulous and our guest commented on how AMAZING the food was! I would recommend anyone who is looking to get married in the St. Augustine area to get married here!

    Several years ago my now husband and I were in St Augustine for New Years and took a picture outside the Casa Monica and at the time I told him "coming to a theater near you in a few years"..I never dreamed we would actually get married there! The hotel itself is amazing. The ballrooms have character that allows for the convenience of a hotel without having the traditional boring ballroom with sliding wall feel. The decor is incredibly ornate and provides for a more boutique feel than the traditional corporate hotel. Everyone we worked with was responsive and professional and truly worked to meet our needs! Courtney was our wedding coordinator and took time to respond to my many long emails- making sure to answer any and all questions up until the last minute! The food was out of this world as was all of the staff that faciliated a smooth reception. Furthermore, after looking at numerous venues both in Orlando and St. Augustine, the Casa Monica was the only site that offered a full cocktail hour and 4 hour reception which I think made the difference in allowing my husband and I to have time to actually experience the reception (and eat!). We couldn't be happier with the way the reception went and definitely will be back to visit the hotel in the future!

    I cannot begin to tell you how pleased we were with this venue. The food was the best food I ever had in my life! My guests all agreed. It made me so happy to see everyone enjoy themselves so much! I think my Dad went to get oysters four times. All of the food was AMAZING! Erin Johnson, the wedding coordinator, and the talented staff at Casa Monica are top notch. It was worth every penny. We will forever be grateful for having our wedding reception at such a beautiful and magical place.

    I had the wedding of my dreams! The Casa Monica Hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing. We had our ceremony and reception on the pool deck. Erin Johnson and the staff were truly fantastic. Several people said it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to.

    We had our reception here & they were amazing! Everyone loved our food & the filet mignon was the best we ever had! Caroline was very helpful & flexible. They even made special plates for some guests who came two hours late! The Flagler ballroom was so beautiful we didn't even need decorations!

    My husband and I just got married on 4/10/2011 and it was the best party every! Erin and Caroline were AMAZING! I would not have changed a thing. And the food was AMAZING!! Can't wait to go back for our anniversary. I planned our wedding from SLC, UT and they made everything so easy. Thank you!

    My husband and I had our honey moon at Casa Monica and we totally loved it!
    We are in love with that hotel! The staff was wonderful from beginning to end and the restaurant 95 Cordova was out of this world! The food was amazing and the service was impeccable!
    We definitely are considering Casa Monica for our anniversary next year!

    I can't say enough about the Casa Monica Hotel. We had our reception outside at the Sultan's Pavilion by the pool. Our reception was like a dream. Walter, our banquet manager, made everything run smoothly and seamlessly. Megan, our coordinator, was so extremely helpful and great to work with throughout the entire planning process... responded to emails and calls quickly, and was cheerful and honest. The bellboys, valet staff, maid service staff, front desk staff... all the guests were impressed with every level of service at the hotel. It's 100% class all the way. Everyone was blown away by the quality of this venue.

    We rented this facility long distance. The events office kept us updated via e-mail and phone. They were so easy to work with and helped us walk through this totally new experience. When at the last minute it looked like rain they helped us scramble to get our reception inside and they did all the work. Everything was so perfect that it almost still feels like the best dream. The food was amazing, the room stunning and the employees and staff were so friendly and helpful. I could give you at least 20 examples of how amazing they were. I know we spent a lot of money but it was well worth every penny.Our friends and family say it's the best wedidng and reception they've ever been to, and much of that has to do with the Casa Monica.

    The Casa Monica hotel was such a beautiful location we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. Everyone there helped make our day so perfect. Everything went off without a hitch. We would recommend the Casa Monica to anyone looking to have a romantic, classic wedding.

    Casa Monica was the most beautiful event space in our area and would recommend them to everyone. The staff is beyond helpful and freindly. The entire night went with out a hitch thanks to everyone at Casa Monica!!

    The Casa Monica was a perfect venue for our St. Augustine wedding--it is by far the nicest venue in town and the staff was amazing to work with, especially Amanda and Erin! They worked with our budget, schedule and ideas to make the evening truly perfect! We got married in the courtyard and had our reception in the Flagler ballroom. I would highly recommend the Casa Monica--the banquet and bar staff was awesome and very professional and our guests are still raving abou the delicious wedding food, especially the steak! Casa Monica made our wedding perfect!

    Our reception was held in the Flagler ballroom. Erin and the rest of the staff were a joy to work with. Erin went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. The entire team was patient and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and our guests raved about the food. I would highly recommend this venue.

    My Husband and I were married in St. Augustine Florida on October 30, 2010. I went to school in St. Augustine but both my husband and I were currently living in Northern Virginia, When my husband proposed I told him I wanted to be married in St. Augustine because the town is so beautiful and Romantic and it still felt like home for me. We had our Wedding Reception at the Casa Monica for over 100 guest, The staff was very professional and helpful to my out of town guest. The ballroom was beautifully arranged and the food was unbelievable. My out of town guest are still raving about the reception. My Wedding coordinator Carolyn from the Casa Monica was such a sweetheart she was very attentive and help out a lot with in questions I had since I was planning my wedding from Northern Virginia. I would highly recommend the Casa Moncia Hotel

    I knew before I met my fiancé that I wanted to get married at the Cathedral Basilica in downtown St. Augustine. I stayed at Casa Monica a couple years ago and was really impressed with the decor and service. I loved working with Courtney and her staff. She helped in a major time of need a week before the wedding when we found out how bad the church was under construction. Within five minutes of running into her she followed us to the church and called one of her draping vendors and set up a meeting to hide most of the mess. She went above and beyond to help with the church which was out of her job description. During the big day the staff at Casa Monica could not be nicer. We throughly enjoyed our experience with using Casa Monica as our reception venue for our big day

    My friends and I were floored when we first went to Casa Monica to view the three venues available for special events. Tessa has been so helpful with all of the planning involved, and we couldn't believe the level of service that was provided before we even signed a contract. We were given why my friends called, "The Disney Experience," because we truly felt like royalty.

    We stayed at the Casa Monica for the night before, the night of, and the night after our wedding. The hotel is so romantic, absolutely gorgeous and a fantastic setting for your photographer to get those once-in-a-lifetime shots. The staff was very professional and courteous, including the maintenance man who was trying to unclog our shower & sinks the day of our wedding! We had a corner room, which is smaller than a suite, but larger than a normal room and it was the perfect size for all of our gear, getting ready and for taking photos in the room. It is fairly pricey, but a wedding-night hotel, it was definitely worth it. My only complaint is the soundproofing - the hotel has jazz music playing on the room's CD player after they clean your room - apparently the room next to us never turned off their music, as we could hear it through the wall at any given hour! Our ceremony & dinner reception were both on St George Street just north of the square, so we were able to walk from the Casa Monica to our ceremony site (taking photos the whole way), then from our dinner reception back to the hotel without having to rent additional transportation. All in all, it was a great experience and a perfect hotel if you are getting married on/near the square.

    Perfect location for a wedding and reception!!! They were incredible, so easy to work with and made everything so beautiful!!!! The food was probably the BEST wedding food I have EVER had. It was exactly like the tasting and what they serve at their restaurant. They had 2 other weddings there and made me feel like mine was the only important one that day! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!!!!!

    We also had our rehearsal dinner there and it was JUST as perfect. The location was beautiful and again, delicious food!!!! Kind of on the pricey end, but totally worth it!!!!

    The catering manager & event manager were absolutely amazing to work with. Super flexible with menu changes, etc.

    The only issue we had was that the room block rates are a rip off. We had to negotiate a lot just to get a rate of $299/night. Which is terrible. Not to mention, Joannie (or whatever) was beyond rude & condescending.

    But like I said, aside from that, we were very happy with the Casa Monica for our ceremony (on the pool deck) & reception (the grand ballroom). The room accommodated 175 guests comfortably.

    The Casa Monica staff and Courtney did an amazing job with our wedding! So many of our guests complimented on how nice of a venue it was. The pool deck fit our vision for a beach/tropical wedding so well. The day of our wedding they took care of every detail for us, including setting up the reception site exactly as we had hoped with all our small personal touches. They even cleaned up everything and packaged our decorations for us. All the staff were very nice and always had food or drinks at the ready for us. They even provided towels when many members of our wedding jumped into the pool at the end of our reception. We can not say thank you enough for all their hard work to help bring to reality the vision that we had for our wedding!

    Everything was great until the end when I had to clean and box up things. I mean things like my toasting flutes, pictures and memorial candle among other things. In my opinion, this all should have been done for me at the end of the night. I was staying at the hotel and it was my wedding day. Everything else was amazing.

    The Casa Monica Hotel is such an enchanting place to get married! We are from Northern Virginia and our guests felt in love with the old charm of the venue! The hotel staff made us feel so special and were all very nice not only to us but also to our guests. We even had guest comment on how accommodating the staff was with regards to their special requests. The Casa Monica was also the perfect backdrop to the most amazing outdoor photographs!

    Casa Monica is a beautiful hotel, the grounds are impeccable and the ambiance and setting is just what you need to create an unforgettable experience for your wedding. I wish there was more feedback and communication along the way to the wedding as I had a difficult time getting verbal responses from the staff however once we connected they did go above and beyond to make the experience impeccable.

    The Casa Monica is a truly amazing venue. It's very unique and simultaneously offers a tremendous amount of charm, elegance and quirkiness. It provides an opportunity to have a truly unique experience. The staff is also very receptive, courteous and professional. We worked closely with Courtney to coordinate our event and she was very friendly, easy-going and professional. She ensured that all of our details were managed effectively and was responsive to our requests.

    In addition to high quality service, the rooms were quite elegant, the amenities were solid and the food was excellent. Given the need to cater for a large group (~60 people), the food was universally praised and maintained a sense of freshness despite the required mass production. The Key Lime Cheesecake was immaculate!

    If the Casa Monica falls into your budget, we highly recommend it.

    The location was beautiful and the staff had everything set-up just as I had wanted. When we arrived in our hotel room after the wedding they had placed chocolate covered strawberries on our bed and had smooth jazz playing softly in the background. I couldn't have asked for anything more from the staff at the Casa Monica.

    It was extremely important to my husband and I to have our wedding in St. Augustine FL. The historic city was my late mothers favorite and it was important for us to have the wedding there in her honor :)
    The Casa Monica was wonderful to work with for the most part.. Our wedding was more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed of!!!

    The event location is beautiful, however, the hotel had a few flaws that really go to me. Our ceremony was in a pavillon off of the pool, and although we knew this ahead of time, they would not close the pool for the ceremony. Also, they did not clean our honeymoon suite (from the night before) for our wedding night, and the presents and cards cluttered the front entrance - the room was a mess! Other than that, it was a whirlwind of a night and it was beautiful.

    I'll begin by saying the Casa Monica Resort is the only place (and I toured nearly every venue in St. Augustine) I would ever choose for my wedding reception. It is romantic, antique, full of art, and perfectly positioned in the heart of downtown.
    With that being said, I was not pleased with the event services manager or her team.
    Our initial conversations and venue tour were with another coordinator, who helped us meet our budget and responded to numerous phone calls/emails promptly. Unfortunately she left shortly after we made our first deposit.
    I was introduced, via email, to our new "Event Services Manager" to work out a couple of payment processing problems, which she said were on their end.
    Our real issues didn't come until our date was looming. I had to make several requests for the outlines we had discussed during the tasting. Another payment processing issue came up. I could not arrange reservations for our bride/groom suites. We needed to pay for/distribute vendor coupons.
    Through all of these problems I could not get our event services manager on the phone, and she took 1+weeks to respond to emails. I decided to hire a day-of planner, per the manager's recommendation, and make another trip (since we live 1.5 hrs from St. Augustine). Needless to say, our event services manager was not available to meet us that weekend, and sent a colleague. My day-of planner was very polite, but made sure to express our concern about the delayed responses from the event services manager.
    The truth was, I was overwhelmed with stress knowing my wedding was a month away.
    When we made it to wedding week there were still questions waiting to be answered. And on the day of our wedding, the event services manager was touring another couple around the ballroom at the time she had assured me she would help set up.
    I am so grateful I hired my day-of planner. Anyone having a wedding at the Casa Monica should hire one, for peace of mind.

    The hotel is gorgeous; however I was not happy with the reception set-up. It was opposite of how we had drawn it out. The wedding party sat on the other side of the room from the dance floor. So, when we did our dance and toast, etc. we had to get up and separate the bridal party. It was akward. Most of the hotel staff were not very helpful. For instance, we asked if we could have a cart to bring in our luggage and we were told they we could not because there were a lot of people checking in. Other reception staff were not accomodating when I was asking for a special request to pay for a night of hotel for a guest.
