Having planned several weddings, we were very very happy with Carrollwood Country Club for my daughter's wedding January 17, 2026. We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a wonderful experience. The catering managers Tori & Heidi are Terrific !! The venue was very beautiful for the ceremony and then steps away we had a wonderful reception and dinner. The pricing is more than fair and the venue is beautiful.

Our wedding at the Carrollwood Country Club was a dream. Everything came out gorgeous and all the staff was so helpful and friendly. Hiedi and Tori were amazing to work with and made the whole process easy and fun. The grounds and the ballroom were a stunning background for our event. I’m still in awe of how well everything turned out and went. Highly recommend this venue!

I am so very thrilled with how our wedding turned out at Carrollwood Country Club! From the stunning scenery, diverse options for the reception and cocktail hour, and the amazing support we had from Chastity and Michael made it all perfect. Even despite a last-minute hiccup with our coordinator not working out, their meticulous attention to detail and dedication to our vision ensured everything was flawless. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception, everything was just exquisite. The venue offers not only their huge locker rooms but also a convenient condos that can be rented, which made getting ready so much easier. The venues breathtaking backdrops provided fantastic photo opportunities, and we received countless compliments on how beautiful the wedding was. It was truly a dream come true. I highly recommend Carrollwood Country Club for any event. A perfect 10 out of 10!

Superb in every way! We just had our wedding rehearsal dinner here at the club and it could not have been a better experience. Stephanie Laine, Catering Sales Director was efficient from the start in helping us from long distance plan our event. She went above and beyond to accommodate our wants and needs down to the very last detail with patience and kindness. She kept in touch and promptly returned our calls for any inquiry. The serving staff were excellent as was the bartender in making sure everyone was attended to. The food was beyond delicious and served in a timely manner. An enjoyable time with family and friends was had by all. We are greatful that God led us here. Thank you Carrollwood Country Club and Stephanie.

Our company Holiday Party was held at Carrollwood Country Club for the 1st time this year and the experience was fantastic. Our staff had a lot of positive feedback about the facilities, staff and food being very nice and enjoyable. The recommendations for the supporting staff (DJ & Photo Booth) were also right on and provided exactly what we expected.
We are looking forward to next year.

Overall my experience with CCC was great! They were very efficient and accommodating! Everything turned out beautifully with minimal issues. Stephanie was VERY helpful and was on top of everything! The only down fall was the day before the wedding I dropped off a lot of the decor etc. My cake topper was some how misplaced or discarded, so come the day of there was no cake topper. My bouquet was taken off my sweetheart table and placed on the cake table(not sure why or who decided to do that) so when the employees started to clear off the cake table my bouquet went missing/got thrown away which was very disappointing as I wanted to keep it. Other than that everything went smooth, the food was delicious, and the room turned out wonderful!

CCC is such a beautiful place to get married at. I could not have asked for anything more perfect. The food, staff and atmosphere was everything and more. Stephanie (our coordinator) was AMAZING!! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect, special day thanks to her. We highly recommended CCC for your wedding venue!:)

I have to say the people at carrollwood country club excesses all of my expectations. The only thing I had to do was show up on time and everything else was taken care of. Stephanie was excellent in helping my special day very special.

Stephanie was phenomenal to work with. She was always timely with responses and honored all of our special requests. The food at CCC is incredible! I loved that this location included so much: food, alcohol, tables, chairs, linens, table settings, etc. All the guests loved the cocktail hour on the beautiful terrace and the room setup was spectacular!

Todd, Stephanie and the entire team at Carrollwood Country Club put on an amazing event for my son and daugher-in-law's wedding. We had many many compliments on the food (we had unique food stations). The event ran very very smoothly and they anticipated our every ask, BEFORE we knew something was needed. They were very easy to work with when we were planning the wedding and were able to accommodate any request that we had. We have hosted several events at Carrollwood and they never cease to amaze us!

This is the second year we have held our Company Christmas Party at Carrollwood Country Club. CCC has done an outstanding job yet again, with everything from food, service, to the lovely holiday décor`. To serve nearly 300 people in a buffet is not an easy task, but the food was excellent and the staff managed to keep the lines orderly. Everyone loved the party and were wowed with the beautiful setup and décor as they walked into the ballroom. Thanks again to Stephanie and all the staff at CCC!

We loved this venue from the minute we stepped on the property. It has a classic but not old feel and the staff was very informative. Stephanie Laine was like my fairy godmother and was so accommodating of every request and was so kind and patient in answering all my questions. My ceremony and reception were behind my expectations! She was so organized and made me feel at ease that everything was taken care of and on schedule. You can tell she genuine,y cares about you and that this isn't just a job for her. She even cried when she saw me in my dress for the first time! She was also amazing in helping handle all the family dynamics that were swirling the wedding weekend. The food is so amazing! We have received so many compliments on the food. Service was great as well. The venue was just beautiful and setup perfectly. I just can't praise Stephanie enough for everything she did to make the day perfect because in all honesty it went so smoothly and was genuinely perfect. We are so grateful we chose this venue over the 5 others we considered. They also have a resort on the property so guests could stay right there and I was able to get ready in a room in the property. Everything is just so convenient!

Carrollwood, and Stephanie Laine, made the entire process very simple. Our requests were handled quickly and professionally. We were offered a wide selection of menu items, and the opportunity for special requests. The costs of the event were made clear up front, and were more than fair. The venue was lovely, the staff helpful friendly, and professional. The dinner was delicious, and bar service was outstanding. Most importantly, our guests had a wonderful evening.

We selected a brunch buffet, with a champagne bar including orange juice and cranberry juice so the guests could mix their own mimosas or poinsettias, in addition to the coffee and tea that is included. The per person charge was very reasonable, and the setting was perfect! The room has a very nice view of the golf course and has outdoor access, as well as private bathrooms for your guests. The buffet set up was done well, the food was excellent tasting and served hot. The pastries, muffins and croissants were fresh and delicious! I will use this facility again for any future events.

We had our company summer picnic at Carrollwood Country Club pool and it was fantastic as we had plenty of space, a tent overhead to combat the heat as well as a large slide for the kids to play on. They were non-stop between the slide and the pool and most of the adults enjoyed swimming as well. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was great.

The staff at CCC are very easy to work with. They are very accommodating and professional. I have used them for multiple events and I plan to continue to use them regularly in the future. I highly recommend them!

The staff is wonderful, the location convenient and the room with the terrace was a perfect setting for our company dinner.

We have been hosting bi-weekly Parent Information Meetings for our school at Carrollwood Country Club since June 2015. The venue is beautiful, the staff are all super friendly, and the food is delicious.

Stephanie was a pleasure to work with, she responded quickly to all phone calls and emails, and gave great recommendations for vendors. My guests were very impressed with how beautiful the venue was, and how well everything was decorated. There are condos on site were my family and friends were able to stay after the wedding. I will definitely recommend this venue to my friends and family!

I recently had to schedule a last minute celebration of life memorial event following my grandmother's funeral service. I spoke with Stephanie and her team at Carrollwood Country Club and they pulled together a reception for 60 people flawlessly! The tenderloin carving station was a hit and they suggested a wonderful menu for the guest. In addition, they displayed the remembrance table and used special colors for the display as we had requested. I strongly recommend this venue for various events -- their team is highly dependable and customer focused. Great location and price as well.

I could not have chosen a better venue. Stephanie is amazing. She is organized and responds to emails quickly! She is very detailed oriented which made my rehearsal and wedding day very smooth. Everyone who attended loved the food and commented on how gorgeous the property is. This is a perfect place to have a wedding!

Stephanie was flawless in her planning of this event. She made this an "easy" experience for us. We NEVER felt uncomfortable or worried about ANY of the details. The best compliment to her is that the event "far exceeded our lofty expectations".

We hosted a surprise retirement luncheon for my mother-in-law in the Emerald Room. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, food was amazing (everyone raved about it!) and the room itself was wonderful, albeit a bit better suited for a smaller crowd -- but it wasn't really a problem, as we also had access to tables and seating outside. For the amount of people we had and the quality of the food, I still can't believe the value. Would definitely recommend Carrollwood Country Club to anyone looking for a spot to host a party.

We booked the Emerald Room to host a Surprise Retirement Party for my mother-in-law. Meagan Zitnyar helped me plan the event and was helpful in explaining all of our options from the menu to tables for seating.
The room was setup beautifully with tables and space for people to walk around and mingle, we had access to the terrace too for guests to go outside.
The food was outstanding, everyone raved! I requested a special meal to suite my food allergies and it was carefully made and absolutely delicious. The event servers were very nice and helped keep the tables clean, they even brought out a cart to help us transport my mother-in-laws gifts to the car.
This was a memorable and fun event, everyone had a wonderful time, especially my now retired mother-in-law!!

Our event was a buffet brunch after our daughter's wedding for out of town wedding guests that were staying at Emerald Greens and immediate family of the wedding party. Stephanie was so accommodating and the food was delicious. Staff working the event were so professional and helpful. We had about 60 people and everyone enjoyed it. I would highly recommend Carrollwood CC.

I had an outdoor wedding planned that got rained out. Three hours before my ceremony start time my wedding was picked up and moved to CC. They were amazing! Helpful beyond belief. My day ended up perfect thatnks to them!

Renee at Carrollwood Country Club did an AMAZING job for our wedding. She is very professional, helpful, and very sweet. The manager, Todd, was also very friendly and helpful. I received many compliments on how great the food was. I HIGHLY recommend them as a venue!!!

Carrollwood Country Club was wonderful! Our guests still complement us on the service and quality. It was well worth it!!

We hosted this wedding for our oldest daughter. It was our first wedding and everything about planning the function was new to us. The entire staff at Carrollwood CC could not have been more accomodating to our needs from initial meeting to the reception itself. Renee Constantine coordinated every detail and based on the feedback we received from our guests it was truly a success. The facility is great because of the spacious ballroom, ability to utilize outdoor terrace and indoor foyers, plenty of close proximity parking, beautiful golf course for picture taking, and the adjacent villas for out of town guests. The food was served hot and efficiently due to the attentive wait staff. The bartenders kept everyone in good spirits. We have another daughter who will be getting married one day and we intend to celebrate the day at Carrollwood CC again!

Carrollwood Country Club (formerly Emerald Greens) was a fantastic place to have my wedding reception! The Coordinator, Maggie Dillon, went above and beyond to make every detail perfect. My mother and I met with her many times in order to go over time frames, food choices, room set-up, etc, and she was very patient, warm, and accommodating! I could not have picked a more perfect place! Thank you again for everything!

My wedding at Emerald Greens was truly one of a kind! We were so happy with the venue! My husband and I got married under the Oak tree on the golf course and had our reception on their pool deck!! We were the first couple to do this, and Emerald Greens was very accommodating to all of my crazy bride requests. The staff was super helpful and made us feel very special on our day. I loved my venue and the pictures I have are unforgettable! Have the wedding coordinator show you some awesome shots they can do by the oak tree!

Firstly, I want to say a HUGE thank you to ALL of the staff at Emerald Greens for making my wedding an absolutely incredible, fairytale event that I will never forget.
Ali & Maggie were wonderful to work with–despite never having held a wedding like ours at EG, they immediately understood our vision & went out of their way to make every detail perfect. Any little detail my mom or I suggested was met with an enthusiastic, "We can DEFINITELY do that!" Ask to see a picture of the fruit tree they created based on a picture I had–it was an amazing display of fruit for the dessert table!
One of the many things our guests raved about was the outstanding service they received by every single staff member. Our guests never had to ask for anything because the staff was proactive–an empty glass prompted the staff to offer another drink or take away the glass, an empty plate prompted the same; the staff constantly asked our guests they needed anything!
All of the food was delish–the pasta station, the pool-side BBQ, the passed hors d'oeuvres, the custom-made salads. Chef Tino was wonderful to work with & very willing to take input or try new things.
The difference is in the details at EG–small things you wouldn’t notice if they weren’t done, but when done, wow you–Ali working with me to craft special cocktails; Maggie sending me lunch between the wedding & reception when I hadn’t eaten much; both of them pulling me aside at cocktail hour & insisting I peek in the ballroom, knowing I wouldn’t take it all in once the reception started & not wanting me to miss all the beautiful details that took months to plan!

This is THE venue to hold your wedding! Before choosing this location, my fiancé and I went to at least 8 other venues around the Tampa/St. Pete area and were not satisfied with any of them for one reason or another. Finally I convinced my fiancé to look at Emerald Greens with me (he was hesitant to have it at a golf course originally) and boy was it the right decision. As soon as we met with Maggie we knew this place was the one! She's young, vibrant, welcoming and very bubbly! We also came to know her throughout the process as being so smart and helpful in planning. She was open to all our ideas and gave us her helpful input as well. Also whenever I emailed her a question, I always got a response right away which is so important, especially when the big day gets closer. As for the venue itself, its gorgeous! It has been recently updated and feels so welcoming as soon as you enter. The lawn for the ceremony is great too with the boardwalk and the beautiful tree to get married under. They also close off the surrounding golf courses when you have your ceremony so it's just you and your guests out there. They really do make it all about the bride and groom. Very important we also have to compliment the entire staff we worked with including the receptionists at the onsite resort, the other planners and absolutely the AMAZING wait staff! You usually don't hear about how great the servers, waitresses and bartenders are but at Emerald Greens they really are the BEST! My entire group of wedding guests just raved about them. Efficient, attendant and so very friendly! You wont be without a drink in your hand for more than a minute! They made our night! Finally you should plan to stay and have your guests stay at the onsite resort. Again, updated, the rooms are huge and sparkling clean. Wow just an amazing, amazing place and we will absolutely be booking more events there and you should too!! P.S. The food is 100% DELICIOUS!! The BEST mashed potatoes ever!

Maggie Dillon at Emerald Greens did a fantastic job for our wedding last month. I was very nervous because he had several hiccups in the planning but I couldn't believe my eyes the day of our wedding. She was amazing and everything turned out beautiful!! The food was delicious- I still have guests telling us how great the food was, even the salad dressing received great compliments! The drapery transformed the banquet room into a beautiful wedding ballroom. Everything I have Maggie to lay out she had in the right place. Thank you Maggie for everything!! I would highly recommend your wedding there. The hotel part was a different story though!

The staff at Emerald Greens went above and beyond for my wedding reception. They made all my requests possible. Their food was extraordinary! All of my guests raved about it. If there was a problem on my wedding day, I did not know about it because everything went so smoothly. When we were taking pictures out on the golf course, they brought us drinks of our choice. At the end of the night, they never rushed us to leave the ballroom. Also, most of my guests stayed in the resort condos, which are very luxurious! What a perfect weekend that I will never forget!

My wedding was FLAWLESS! I literally could not be happier. The've totally redone their ballroom and its GORGEOUS. The outdoor ceremony under the tree overlooking the golf course was just what I wanted. Maggie, the Wedding Planner there, was so great! She helped us all the way and the day of took care of everything. We showed up and it was completely perfect. Go see this place its worth every penny!

I loved this location when I went to visit it for the first time. It was recently renovated and the decoration was beautiful. The final price for our wedding was very affordable. Jessica, the director of catering, was really great and helpful. She took care of contacting our vendors and making arrangements with them. She was also there most of the wedding day to make sure all details were as we had agreed. We were happy with the final result and would recommend this place to anybody if you want to have great service at a moderate cost.

Best day of my life occurred at this wonderful venue. I was really organized and a little paranoid and Stephanie assured me everything would be great and not to worry. My day was perfect, a lot of wind but we made it work and it was beautiful. Not only have we had people rave about the food but that the venue itself was fantastic and all the employees were so kind and responsive to my guest. I would definitely recommend this venue to others. Its reasonably priced and they cover a lot of things you would never think about.

We had our wedding reception at Carrollwood Country Club in 08/2015, and it was amazing! We were initially working with Renee and then worked with Stephanie. As an out-of-state bride, I really appreciated that for our reception, everything was pretty much taken care of and coordinated at Carrollwood. Phone was the best way to get in touch, with follow-ups via email. Stephanie did a great job having the layout and details all set up. And on the day-of, the staff took care of us and our guests so well. I really felt like I didn't have to think about a thing. Our guests were all impressed with how good the food was and how beautiful the site was. It was also nice for us that the country club is attached to Emerald Greens Resort, so we were able to set up room blocks, and it made it easy for us in the days before and after the wedding. Our day was perfect!

Great staff, setting, and food which so many of our guests kept complementing about it. The honoree for the event was so surprised and the staff was a big part of making that happen. Great place to hold any type of event.

The personnel at the Club were wonderful working with us even when we changed things up a bit (and quite often) during the planning process. We also had the rehearsal dinner at the Club and used the Resort on the premises so our guests did not have to travel once they arrived. They literally arrived at the venue for the weekend and never had to leave. The wedding turned out perfect. Stephanie and Todd were helpful and knowledgeable and they have a wonderful support staff.

Carrollwood Country Club exceeded our expectations. They were an amazing venue. The golf course is beautiful and the facility is so wonderful. I received many compliments on the food, it was delicious! I had a change in management a couple weeks before our event, but the transition was smooth! One quick conversation with Stephanie and I knew she had it handled. She did! She was on top of everything. Very professional, very efficient. She thought of everything. If you're looking for someone where to say your vows, this is it. Loved it!

Great Place to have a wedding!

I had my reception only here and it was amazing! They went above and beyond to meet my expectations. They really know what they are doing and made the whole night run very smoothly. Price is very reasonable for this location. It pretty and they have a great set up for receptions. We had an open bar and fully got our moneys worth. They did all our food besides the cake and it was all amazing, everyone complimented how great the food was.The event planner was a huge help and answered all my questions, even though sometimes it took a while for her to get back to you, which was the only stressful part. Overall I loved the location and they fully met my needs with no hesitation

Our wedding was wonderful with the help of Renee. Once we made the decision about the food with Renee it was great. Many of our guest expressed how beautiful the event was. The food really turned out just as I hoped it would. We were told by friends they did not know that the club did such nice events.

We recently held our 55th class reunion at the Carrollwood Country Club and we were very pleased with every aspect of our event. The venue, food, and accommodations were excellent. The friendly and very cooperative staff, along with the flexibility of services, made this one of the most memorable reunions we have ever planned.

There was little to NO effort to ask us IF we would like to have the food items that were untouched & perfectly edible. WE were upset that so much that was paid for was removed without a discussion .

During our wedding planning, there were a lot of changes for the better at the venue. The new team does a great job of communication and has high expertise when it comes to weddings. The event space is beautiful - we used all three spaces and held our ceremony in the outdoor area. Although it did not rain, the team also does a good job in assessing the weather and explaining the contingency plan if the weather gets rough on the day. As with any venue, there were some down sides. For cocktail hour, the bridal party didn't receive any hors d'oeuvres nor drinks to sip on during photos. It was a shame given that was our immediate family members so we wanted them to experience the complete wedding vibe. The venue also decided to uphaul the area directly behind the ceremony space which created an eye sore and did not photograph well. There was also an issue with the golf carts/golf ball baskets not being cleared from the area surrounding the bride entrance. It didn't ruin it for me personally, but my family was extremely upset about that so it is something to think about if you're nit-picky. I'd suggest adding that in the contract on what clubhouse items/accessories will be removed from the ceremony and reception spaces given when discussing with the staff, they mentioned it would be clear of carts, golf balls, and misc items/people.

For the reception, we had a great time. Food for me and my guests was most important. When I tell you it is now September and my guests are still raving about the food!!!??? It was so so so good. The options they have to choose from are fantastic. We chose plated dinner but really you cant go wrong here. If food is something that is high on list of importance for you - pick this venue!

There were 170 people in attendance, the venue does a fabulous job hanging the ceiling swag as well as the other items they provide (long list, it really and truly was worth every penny). The reception space looked so dreamy and the staff also help with the floor plan. Dance floor is generous, and its also a classic wood which looks fantastic.

All in all, I'd recommend this venue for your wedding. Here are some photos of our wedding - and congratulations!!!

This venue worked out beautifully for our wedding. The room looked amazing and the food was great. Our guest were all very complimentary of the food and the room set-up. An added bonus was that our guests were able to stay close by at Emerald Greens resort which is in walking distance. Stephanie did a great job in bringing our vision to a reality. She was very responsive and professional.

Responsiveness is so important when planning a wedding and I was a little disappointed in CCC in this department. The event turned out great, and all of my guests raved about the food but I had little faith leading up to the event that it would go smoothly. Renee is very friendly and courteous but also EXTREMELY busy. I really didnt get the sense that my event really mattered until the final few days leading up to it. There were a few details here and there that were forgotten. Before the tasting it was very difficult to get a hold of Renee but after the tasting, the responiveness kicked up a notch. All in all, the event went off without a hitch, I just think it would have been less stressful if the responsiveness was there the whole time. I said yes to would you recommend this vendor but only if they hire another Renee (she's so busy!)

Beautiful Venue! Carrollwood Country Club offered great pricing all in convenient packages. They pay attention to details and know what to do to make sure the wedding turns out smoothly. Prior to the wedding itself, communication was difficult; waiting 1-2 weeks for answers to simple questions. During the wedding, they functioned as they normally would and did not take our specific requirments (noted months prior) into account. Overall, we are happy with our wedding and would consider booking other events with them.

November 2023. Outside. Why the lower rating?
Issues:
The Shrubs around the wedding site near the stairs and platform were not trimmed neatly and were unsightly. This was very surprising since all the bushes and shrubs near the clubhouse were all very well trimmed. As the wedding party was arriving for dressing and prewedding photos the bride's father and several groomsmen went out and pulled weeds out of the shrubs and broke off tall parts of the shrubs to make them presentable. These shrubs were right in front of the invitees and would be in many of the pictures.

Some of the beef portion of the buffet was found to be inedible by some guests due to an off odor and "bad" taste. This seemed to be limited to one tray and it was speculated that that particular tray may have been recycled from another prior event.

Attention by the event service staff fell off sharply about mid-point when the event coordinator had to leave. The bride's mother was informed that there was a contact person in the kitchen if needed. She and our assisting family friend had to go to the kitchen multiple times for assistance such as: forks for the cake, spills, to go boxes... Shouldn't there have been service personnel on duty on the floor throughout the whole event?

Margaritas were to be available at the bar but were not available. The event coordinator did offer to get a margarita for the bride's mother from the clubhouse bar.

The wedding party missed out on the cocktail hour snacks. The service for this hour was cut short of the allotted time, and several trays of appetizers were taken back to the kitchen nearly full rather than to continue serving guests.

All of this was explained to an event captain when we picked up decorations since the event coordinator was not available at that time.

A very pretty event site with large event rooms that can be configured for a variety of event sizes. They have contingency plans for bad weather situations.

Coordinator and bartenders were extremely rude. It made the wedding day much more stressful and gave us a bad look to our guests and bridal party. If we had a different coordinator and different bartenders the day would have been perfect but their attitudes were not appreciated. If I could take back the 20% service fee I would in a heartbeat. They were not worth it and for that reason I would never recommend someone gets married there.
