  Beautiful grounds and Stunning pavillion

  I saw some pictures online and new I wanted to hire them immediately. The place is even more gorgeous in person. I had an amazing time taking all the pictures I could. It was the perfect setting for a wedding. Everyone was so quick to respond to any and all questions we had. Absolutely perfect experience.

  Beautiful Venue

  The Arboretum offers a unique space for your wedding day! We were able to rent both buildings for our rehearsal dinner and wedding day and have the entire grounds to use for the weekend. The staff is very friendly and easy going and made for such a smooth wedding day. Most vendors in Waco have used the Arboretum before which makes for a smooth and easy wedding day! Definitely recommend this venue!

  This venue was absolutely beautiful and so inexpensive compared to other local venues. The office staff were so easy to work with and planning was very easy. All tables and chairs are provided and there is bridal suite and full kitchen. Restrictions would be that there is no place for the groomsmen to get ready and there are lots of restrictions when it comes to what you can use for the departure (no sparklers, etc) but I still give this 5 stars because of the money we saved and how gorgeous everything is. We held the wedding inside, but there is are several pretty spots to have it outdoors. We got lots of compliments on the venue and I still want to go back again and walk through the gardens. I've done lots of research and this is by far the best value around.

  We booked both the Whitehall Center and the Pavilion for our wedding. We used the Whitehall Center as our ceremony venue and it was absolutely perfect. It provided an intimate feel for our guests and us. We had only about 85 people but the space was able to hold SO many more if I needed to. The Pavilion was absolutely gorgeous. It was more than enough room for everything and it looked like a dream. Meredith was our helper throughout the whole process and she was very nice and professional.

  The staff at Carleen Bright Arboretum were extremely helpful, from the booking of the venue to all of the day-of set-up. This is a beautiful venue with a fantastic view. If you are looking for a wonderful venue with lots of space for your guests and for dancing, this is the place.

  This is one of Waco's treasures! The arboretum was a perfect venue to have our outdoor wedding an reception! Reasonable rates and great customer service!

  If you haven't seen the Pavilion at the Carleen Bright Arboretum, you have missed the most beautiful venue in Central Texas to use for your special occasion. The staff, Janet and Hollie, were absolutely precious and fun to work with. I priced every venue around town, and this one gave us the most for our money. Besides being new, it was set up perfectly, lots of room, beautiful views, and just an absolutely fabulous place to have a wedding. We had our ceremony at the gorgeous gazebo, and the reception at the new Pavilion, and it worked out perfectly. If you are planning a wedding, or any other important event, please check their website for the pictures that they display, it is a gorgeous place!!!

  It was really a beautiful place to get married, I would have liked it if they would have been more willing to remove the pictures that were hanging in the reception area. But I will say they were did allow us to come in earlier (than in contract) in the morning to set tables and such up. We booked them right away but that was because we did it a year in advance.

  We had our ceremony and reception at the Whitehall Center. It worked out nicely because we had a small budget and guest list, but I'm not sure I would recommend this place to a friend. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it could have been better.

  This site is very beautiful for a wedding and reception. The only problem I had was that the staff were rude and unprofessional. When I booked the place they almost gave it to another person, they told me I was lucky I was the first one there with money or else they might have given it to a later appointment. I was suprised to hear that after I THOUGHT I had already secured the site. Then when it came time to recieve my deposit back they made stupid excuses as to why I hadn't recieved the full amount back. I wasn't very impressed with the people, but the site is beautiful.

  The positive: I'd like to start by saying, the venue was absolutely gorgeous the day of my wedding. Holly, the event coordinator, was great. The grounds were in pristine condition, and the tables and chairs were setup exactly how we discussed.
  
  The negative: My fiancé (now husband) and I booked the arboretum over a year before our wedding, and when we initially toured, we were told that if no one booked the pavilion the Friday before our Saturday wedding, we could go in Friday and decorate.
  
  The week before our wedding, we went to the arboretum to discuss room layout, and we asked if anyone had rented the space out on Friday. No one had, but we were informed that the arboretum does not allow people to set up a day early unless you book the space for the whole weekend. We were a disappointed about the incorrect information we received, so Holly, being helpful, spoke to the director of the arboretum, Janet.
  
  Janet came out and immediately began yelling at my husband and I, insinuating that we were lying and trying to get something we hadn't paid for. She also kept demanding we tell her who told us the information. We looked at many venues in the Central Texas area, and decided on the arboretum more than a year before this discussion, so we could not remember. That wasn't a good enough answer for her, and she continued her rude, aggressive behavior. I asked her to stop being so aggressive with us, and explained we were not making it a huge issue, we were merely inquiring about something we were told.
  
  She then told me there was no way we booked the arboretum when I said we did (even though she had a copy of my signed and dated contract with HER signature on it). When she realized she was wrong on the contract issue, she just stopped talking and left the conversation. If I would've had more than a week, I would've changed venues.
  
  I am on the fence about recommending this venue, simply because of Janet.
