I was beyond impressed with the incredible hair and makeup done on me as a bridesmaid for my sister's wedding! I rarely do my hair and makeup so I wanted to ensure it was natural to highlight my assets and I can truly say, I was blown away with the results. Cari and her team provide a trustworthy and fun setting, allowing you to focus on the present moment with your bride, friends and family instead of worrying about whether you're in good hands or not. Cari did an amazing hair and make-up job using her skills and her magic airbrush. Her prices are very reasonable compared to other vendors who try to rip you off. Cari was able to transform me into exactly what i wanted to look like from my wedding day. I highly recommend Cari R Duprey as a professional hair and makeup artist. -

She is kind and honest, as well as professional and flexible. I found Cari to be easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and she was also accommodating when we were setting up a trial. She was a great addition to the laid-back getting ready vibe on the morning of my wedding!

Rachel Sent on 06/01/2012Cari was amazing. I don't normally wear much makeup, and when I do, it's minimal. Cari managed to make me up, but she made me look like myself. In my pictures so far, it looks like I'm not really wearing makeup. I look so natural.
She also did hair and makeup for my mom and wedding party, and it was perfect. She styled the girls' hair into this perfect rendition of what I was hoping, made my mother look like a glamorous supermodel, and made me look and feel prettier and more beautiful than ever.
Cari is awesome. She did an excellent job on hair and makeup and was super-sweet and cool. -

My elopement was at 9 AM in NYC, making Cari’s arrival VERY early in the AM to allow time for me to get changed and travel. Cari was on time and she is truly a professional- she had absolutely EVERYTHING in her kits to do my hair and makeup!
I sent Cari inspo from Pinterest and she nailed it! It was very windy at our elopement location (Top of the Rock) and my hair stayed put- which is incredibly impressive given the strong winds that high up! My makeup was soft and not overdone… it made me feel beautiful- not just like I had glam makeup. I would recommend Cari to anyone and appreciate her patience, timeliness, and expertise! She’s a true artist!!! -

Cari was amazing! I absolutely loved my wedding day makeup. She stayed on track all day and ensured that we were sticking to a tight schedule. She was also SUPER calm which helps a lot throughout a hectic day. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone for their wedding or a special event. Cari, thank you! -

Cari did a wonderful job on my hair and make up. She helped me picking out great quality hair clip ins. She did her magic and transformed me into a beautiful bride, she topped my expectations and was worth every dollar. She was punctual, flexible and it was a pleasure to get my hair and make up done with her. It was the hottest day of the year, but the make up and hair was lasting very long. She even was so thoughtful to give me some wipes for the day to wipe of the sweat. I highly recommend her. -

I had a very low key elopement ceremony with immediate family and knew I wanted to splurge on a beautiful and simple updo by a professional on my wedding day. I was recommended to The Birdhouse which is how I was introduced to Cari. She was amazing to work with and so fun to talk to during the trial and day of! She was easy to communicate with to schedule the trial and even helped me coordinate the right timing for the morning of my wedding. Would highly recommend for your bridal hair needs! -

I can't say enough good things about Cari and her team! She was an integral part in making my wedding day stress-free and everything that I'd want it to be, with on-site hair and make-up for myself, bridesmaids and my mother that we all loved. She worked so well with each one of us, and was able to balance a range of styles (and personalities!) seamlessly. I truly felt like she understood what I wanted and what worked for my features, and I've never felt more beautiful. When I look at my wedding photos I beam with happiness, and Cari is a big reason why! -

Excellent Hair and Make Up Artist!
Cari was the epitome of professional. I got married in August 2020. My wedding went from a 130+ affair to just immediate family. Our venue ultimately couldn't host us. Siblings couldn't travel. Changes were happening constantly. Cari's positive attitude and kindness began with our first email interactions and lasted through my special day. She made me look (and feel!) beautiful! She was easy to work with and timely with her responses to emails. Love her! -

Best decision I ever made…
It was the best decision I ever made for my wedding to hire Cari Duprey to do my hair. I planned a destination wedding from across the country (from CA > NY) and Cari made my experience unforgettable and SMOOTH. She did an INCREDIBLE job making my hair inspiration come to life, and she calmed me down the days leading up to and throughout the day while she was with me and my wedding party. She picked up extra extensions for me also, a week prior, and was flexible with what I wanted. She REALLY knows what she is doing and I would choose her over and over again for any event, especially weddings! Cari & team - THANK YOU!! Cari is the absolute best hair and makeup artist. Her goal is to make people tell you how beautiful you look, now how great your makeup looks, and she succeeds! I don't really wear much makeup or get my hair done, so I was nervous and wanted to look like myself. Cari totally got it and worked with me to make sure I was happy with how I looked. We did a hair and makeup trial which was great. When the day of came, I felt beautiful and comfortable and like myself. Cari also did my sister's hair and makeup and she looked stunning. Cari was also such a great presence as I got ready with my mom and sister. I highly recommend Cari! -

Cari was like my fairy godmother adding the perfect amount of makeup and perfecting my hair down to the very last bobby pin. I had sent her pictures of what I liked and she went above and beyond what I ever imagined, also adding her own Cari flair. She was prompt, professional and friendly. She is a true makeup and hair master/artist. My hair was absolutely stunning and makeup was elegant and natural. People are still commenting about how beautiful I looked and I can't recommend her to enough people! Also, my hair and makeup lasted into the wee hours of the night!! I felt like a celebrity and will continue to use Cari for all my upcoming glam needs. :)

Deciding on beauty stylists for me (and my 12 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 1 grandmother!) was a somewhat stressful experience until I was referred to Cari. The process of working with her prior to the wedding was easy and refreshing. I wasn't able to make a trial appointment because I live out of state, but I trusted that I was in good hands and I was right. Cari and her girls were so accommodating to our large party, made us all look & feel beautiful, and had so much fun - nothing like a room full of giggling ladies getting all done up the morning of your wedding to get rid of nerves :) -

Personable, Professional, and Highly Skilled
Cari has done my HMU three times (engagement photos, a backyard wedding, and a larger celebration later on in the year). I would’ve been able to tell you after the first session with Cari that she is simply remarkable. She is indeed incredibly talented at what she does. But what sets Cari apart from others in her field is that she sees the person sitting before as a human first and foremost, not just another face to work on. She chose make up and hair style completely according to my skin type, skin tone, hair type, and, of course, personal style. She did give suggestions of what she could do for me, but she mostly sought to create a style that best exemplified who I am. She helped me to feel so beautiful, not just by using the perfect eye shadow or lash extensions, but by using her words of affirmation and encouragement. She is also a steady and calm presence — exactly what a bride needs when nerves are at a high! I loved being able to start my wedding day(s) with her as it truly helped to center me. Hire Cari. You will not regret it and I could not speak more highly of this confident, kind, and hard working woman. -

Bridal Hair & Make Up - AMAZING!
I cannot thank Cari enough for working her magic on our wedding day 24th March 2022.
We eloped from Scotland to get married in NYC and Cari was the first person we met on the morning of our wedding. She was so friendly and felt like an old friend straight away.
Cari was very prompt on the wedding morning and set up swiftly. She worked in a very professional manner, always asking me my preferences and ensuring I was comfortable throughout.
Thank you for being so relaxed, chatty and full of recommendations for our trip all whilst doing such an amazing job on my bridal hair and make up.
I sent over some inspo for hair and make up and Cari matched it perfectly. The hair and make up was absolutely stunning and lasted all day.
Highly recommend, Cari is extremely talented in her work.

I have very long and thick hair and my hair came out exactly how I envisioned it for my wedding day. She also did a flawless job on all my bridesmaids hair styles and the girls could not get over how amazing their hair looked. We all had such a fun morning getting ready and looking beautiful with Cari! I would highly recommend her for any bride to be and her bridal party!

Hiring Cari to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day was such a great decision! She showed up at my apartment with all her supplies, talked through the look I wanted to achieve for the day, and got to work. When she was done, she left the space she worked spotless. Most importantly, she did a wonderful job! I felt so confident and pretty when she was done, and both my hair and makeup held up great for the full day. -

Starting with my hair trial, she was such a delight - super friendly, easy to communicate with, understanding of the look I was going for and she also used the most delicious smelling hair products. We started off with one look that was great, but as all women are indecisive, I asked her after if she could switch it up a bit and also got her input of hair pieces that I wanted to incorporate. My wedding was on 9/10/17. Cari and her colleague Joanne were on time at my hotel and ready to go! They were so efficient , lovely and really listened to each person in trying to create the perfect hair for a perfect day! I was so appreciative of their efforts to stay on schedule to make sure we were ready to leave by a certain time - it was SO helpful. My hair turned out AMAZING and it really lasted the entire day - through the wind and all of the crazy dancing! Thanks so much Cari in helping me look my best and for beautifying my crew!
