We absolutely loved Canna Country Inn! It was like having our wedding in our back yard with all our friends and family. If your are a DIY bride this place allowed me to make my vision come to life. The owner were so nice and answered any questions we had. Canna Country Inn is budget friendly. Everyone who attended loved the charm and the grounds are very well kept. With having a big family and lots of gatherings I know we will consider this venue for years to come. The Inn sleeps up to 26 people and there are many bathrooms for everyone. Each bedroom has its own theme and charm. I would recommend this venue to everyone! -

The Canna Country Inn
Our wedding was on Saturday, August 28, 2021 with the help of the owners of the Canna Country Inn our experience was wonderful we were able to let our entire wedding party stay at the Canna . All of our Guest loved the experience the atmosphere of our ceremony in the upper cove area. Several Beautiful locations to choose from for your outdoor experience. Any questions we had owners were there with a helpful idea or answer for us. So very pleasant to work with for our happiest day. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic outdoor wedding ! -

My husband and I fell in love with this venue from the start. Not only is the grounds beautiful, the inside of the Inn is amazing. We love how all our guests from out of state could stay right there with us. We also really liked how we didn't have to set everything up & take it down all in one day, making it more of a relaxing weekend event. Our wedding weekend was definitely going to be a very cherished memory for all who attended. -

The Canna Country Inn had everything we wanted for our outdoor wedding - Beautiful gardens and surrounding forest, the perfect space for a big tent, games for kids and adults (including poker table!), plus numerous guest rooms to host our bridal party and excellent cooking facilities with two kitchens! We cooked our wedding rehearsal dinner for 60+ people at the Inn and every piece of cooking equipment that we could think of was there! Incredible!!! The owners, Susan and Dan, are very friendly and and assisted us in finding other local vendors. This property is absolutely gorgeous and very affordable considering we were able to rent out the entire Inn for the whole weekend. Thank you, Susan and Dan! -

Canna Country Inn and the grounds were the absolute best setting to our most perfect day! Daniel and Susan are so accommodating and were there through every step of the way in answering questions and allowing us to visit whenever needed. The beautiful Inn itself sleeps up to 26 people for the entire weekend which made it perfect for out of state family and friends to enjoy the entire weekend together! The outdoor space was perfect for entertaining all of our guests all while enjoying the peaceful, serene nature around us. I can’t even begin to describe how much we enjoyed our stay and the absolute perfect wedding that took place! If you are looking for the rustic, laid back and extremely amazing setting to have a weekend wedding we highly recommend Canna Country Inn! -

What can I say, this venue is absolutely beautiful! Our guests traveled upwards of 3-4 hours for our wedding here, and they were all amazed at how stunningly beautiful this establishment was. So much so that a few are planning to take family vacations to the Inn themselves.
We fit our entire bridal party, and their families in the Inn comfortably. The owners were beyond accommodating! Connecting us with local vendors and going out of their way to help ensure our day ran smoothly, it was everything we could have asked for! The perfect setting for our country/bbq style wedding! -

Caitlyn Sent on 12/13/2016We had the most wonderful weekend at the Canna Inn. Having everything in one spot was a huge relief. We were able to have all of my family members from out of town in one location and it gave us additional time to spend together. Our guests are still complimenting us about how beautiful the setting was. This is a great location if you are looking for a nice, intimate outdoor wedding. The amount you spend to rent the entire inn and grounds for an entire weekend is less than what you would spend renting hotel rooms, a ceremony site and a reception venue.
The owners, Susan and Dan, were just wonderful to work with as well. They were always timely in their responses and very accommodating.
If there was any negative about this site, I would just say to be aware that they have mulch around the grounds and in the reception tent area. If you have a dress with a train it will get caught in that, but you should be able to have that cleaned fairly easily. -

The price you pay for the Inn for the entire weekend vs. the price you pay for 5 hours at most other places is about the same. The extra time you get to spend with your family and friends who stay the whole weekend with you is priceless. It's cozy, yet roomy. It's country, yet can be very elegant and romantic. And the innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating. Selecting the Inn as our wedding venue was the best decision we made. You have so much flexibility and can really have your dream wedding here. -

The inn is spacious and beautiful, and we were able to have our wedding party and immediate family stay with us there for the weekend, which was really convenient and fun. We had so many comments from guests about how much they loved the venue and what a unique setting it was. The innkeeper Susan was also lovely, professional and sweet. They also provided us with ingredients for smores so our friends and family staying at the inn could could enjoy them over the firepit at night. The only possibly negative thing about the site was that we had to shut the music off at 10 pm because of the local noise ordinance, but that isn't the fault of the inn and we had plenty of time to dance before that. I would definitely recommend this site for a wedding/party or for a family get-together! -

Our wedding here was beautiful and everything went smoothly. We had full use of the property and the Inn, and had several friends and family stay the weekend with us to spend quality time and to help us set up. The owners allowed us the use of their ladder and hand cart to help us with some tasks, which was nice. The property is beautiful and the price is fair. The owners were generally very friendly and welcoming.
The inn is great, sleeps tons of people, has multiple kitchens, pool table, bar, etc. and the master bathroom is very nice. There is a jacuzzi tub and plenty of space for getting ready. The deck outside is great, and there is a fire pit and firewood for use. The tent area outside is great, and is in close proximity to the inn. This makes it easy to bring things in and out during your event. The other two outdoor event areas are beautifully maintained and have plenty of capacity. You will have your choice between a heavily shaded wooded area and a sunnier, slightly more open area. We had our ceremony in the shaded "Cove" area and it was perfect.
We gave lower marks for flexibility. This was primarily due to the venue's handling of the pandemic. Our original wedding date was in June of 2020, and it was disallowed in PA to have a large gathering at this time. We were held to our contract at Canna and had to select a new date, or forfeit the $4000 we had paid so far. This forced us to push our wedding off for a full year. If given the option, we would have taken a refund and just had a small private ceremony. In fairness, the owners were within their legal rights not to offer a refund, but they were also the only vendor we were working with who chose to enforce their contract in this way after Covid hit.
A couple of other things to note - there is a midnight curfew on the property. This is not a typical "quiet hour," it is an actual curfew. You must be indoors after midnight. Parking is also somewhat awkward. The inn has roughly ten spaces available for you and your guests to park in. I think there are a couple more in total, but the owners cars are parked in them. Other parking is available a little ways up the street. You can also park on the neighbors property, which is right next door. This makes it convenient, but also means there is a private residence right next to the tent/deck area. We had some miscommunication over parking, but the owners did refund us afterward for an additional $100 parking fee that we had paid.
All in all, we had a very good experience over our wedding weekend at Canna. We are grateful to the owners for having us and recommend Canna to others for weddings and other events.
