Couldn't Be Happier!

My husband and I are so glad that we found Candace Jeffery Photography! Maegan and Joe are amazing at what they do. Not only did they perfectly capture our day, but we also loved having them around! Maegan was so helpful throughout the whole process and her calmness allowed us to feel comfortable in front of the camera. “Picture Perfect”

Absolutely Incredible

I’m biased because I’ve always been OBSESSED with Candace’s work. But hiring her for our engagement pictures and our wedding was a no brainer. On top of being as sweet as could be, she makes you feel so natural during every moment of your special events. The way she captures exactly how you are feeling towards one another is something not many photographers can do. Anyone can take beautiful pictures, but the way Candace helps you become comfortable enough to show how you feel in front of a camera is magical. Any time we look back at our pictures, we can remember the feelings we felt in those moments. They are certainly something we will cherish forever to help us remember the pure bliss we felt, especially on our Wedding Day!

Candace Captured the Moment!

I would HIGHLY recommend Candace for your wedding photographer! It was great to get to know her during our engagement session, which helped us feel completely comfortable at our wedding! Candace has a great eye for the "perfect picture" and really helped capture all of the special moments on our wedding day. With her partner, Meghan, we were able to capture all of the pictures of our family and friends, as well as great shots of me and my husband. Meagan and Joey truly know their craft! My husband does NOT like his photo taken and I was absolutely dreading our engagement shoot. The second we met up with them they made him feel comfortable and relaxed. We ended up having so much fun that when it was over he looked at me and said "That's it??" They really take the time to get to know what is important to you that you want remembered on your special day. We both have large families and for group shots they were very patient and flexible while we gathered everyone together. Worth every single penny and more! We could not have asked for a better person to capture the moments of our special day. Candace and her associate photographer Anthony went above and beyond our expectations. Not only were the photos absolutely beautiful and timeless, but they also made it easy by giving us great direction throughout the very busy day. Candace also helped us find our videographer and they worked incredibly well as a team. Maegan and Joe were such a perfect part of our wedding day! They were one of the first vendors that we booked after our venue and we were so happy with everything that they did for us. Maegan was great at directing and corralling our large bridal party (18 including my husband and I) and she did a great job at keeping us on schedule while also ensuring that she captured everything on our shoot list. Our pictures turned out so beautifully - they truly captured the essence of each part of the day so well and I know that I will treasure the pictures for many years to come!

If you are thinking of doing a boudoir shoot, you absolutely must use Candace.
I was recommended to Candace by a friend who had used her the year before who raved about her finished product. I wanted to give my husband a nice album as a wedding gift, but I was obviously nervous about being in such a vulnerable position with a stranger.

In the end, the shoot ended up not only being a gift for my husband, but for myself as well. If you have any ideas of doing a boudoir shoot, my advice is to jump in without any hesitation!

The price included exceptional hair and makeup by an incredibly skilled artist, which I noticed a lot of other photographers did not include. After hair and makeup, I got into my first outfit and Candace started shooting. After just a few clicks, she had me perfectly relaxed and not feeling self conscious or nervous at all. I ended up changing into three outfits total for the shoot.

I knew that a few shots had come out looking great since Candace had shown me some while we were working, but when I returned to see everything fully edited, I was floored. Each and every shot came out absolutely stunning. I couldn't believe it!

Waiting the two weeks to see my album was torture, I was so excited to see the final product! When it finally arrived, I nearly died at how perfect it was.

So did my husband.

Candace was a true professional from initial contact to final follow up. She was quick to respond and provided excellent advice. He set up for the shoot was warm and inviting and immediately put me at ease.

Maegan and Joe were such incredible photographers for our wedding, and exceptional people! I had several phone meetings leading up to the wedding and we had an intro skype call in advance of booking this dynamic duo to ensure our personalities were compatible. I had an extremely detailed wedding plan and timeline, these two were so accommodating and did everything they possibly could to make sure we captured as many photos as possible. I had planned for four different shoot locations pre-wedding and we were able to shoot everything due to their skill and ability to quickly capture each special moment. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, they slid into the background to catch more candid moments, and took control when they needed to corral the wedding party, our families, or anyone else involved in pictures that were included in my “must have shot list.” They nailed the day-of execution and were, again, so accommodating when it came time to sort out our photo album. They took time to get to know us in advance of the wedding so we were comfortable with them day-of, it was so nice having these two be a part of our day. Check out their photos online, if their photographic style matches the kind of photos you’re looking for your wedding, I assure you their professionalism, character, value and experience will leave you 100% satisfied, can’t recommend them enough!!!

Maegan and Joe of CJP were professional, personable and so easy/fun to work with. They really listened to what we were looking for, must-have photos and also gave great suggestions on logistics (especially with our large bridal party!). My husband and I each had one of them by our side getting ready and I am so happy we did. Maegan made me feel so relaxed on our wedding day and really went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything went smoothly. Most importantly, Maegan and Joe are incredibly talented. Our photos came out STUNNING! They have a great eye and I love the combination of the style of photos - informal and natural portraits, candids of laughter, tears and some pretty intense dancing. Candace and Josh were absolutely AMAZING for our wedding. I am usually a pretty shy person, but Candace kept me at ease. I knew that I wanted Candace Jeffery Photography to be our photographers before I was even engaged! Simply The Best!

I have followed Candace for a little while now as I have always admired her work. When my Fiancé and I got engaged it was an easy decision on who we wanted for our engagement photos. It’s always easier to admire other couples photos but when it comes to your own I feel like you always think maybe some shots will look odd or they just aren’t going to come out as nice as others you have seen. Boy was I wrong. Per usual, the shots were absolutely gorgeous. They were true to the moment, sincere and the photos captured Chris and I perfectly. They are photos we were so excited to share with family and friends and will look back on for years to come. Candace will also be shooting our wedding and we know those will blow us away juts like our engagement shoot did!

We got our pictures back a few weeks ago, and we are just so so happy. Candace and Josh captured every little detail, from beautiful pictures of my table numbers to great candid shots of our guests. Jeff and I had the opportunity to work with all of the photographers at Candace Jeffery Photography. We cannot say enough nice things about Candace and Josh and their associate photographers Maegan and Joe! They were more than accommodating throughout the whole year in planning for our wedding. They respond very quickly, are very professional, creative, and a blast to work with. We did our engagement shoot with Maegan and Joe and had a lot of fun just being our silly selves; they captured our relationship so well! They would always be available for advice or even recommendations as we were planning for our wedding. We were unsure if Maegan and Joe were going to be available for our wedding day, without any doubt, Candace and Josh stepped in assuring us they would be available if they needed to step in. Candace and Josh ended up photographing our wedding day and we cannot thank them enough for capturing every special moment! Candace is very easy to work with and it was as if we had shot together before. Our guests complimented how they shot our wedding, being very humble and respectful of everyone. I do not remember seeing them during our ceremony, yet they captured such beautiful photos as if they were right there in front of us. As always, nothing ever goes as planned and we were behind schedule once we arrived at our reception. Working with Candace and Josh was such a pleasure. They are professional, personable and so talented. Candace and Josh are absolutely amazing. They are kind, professional and personable and really went above and beyond to ensure that we felt at ease on our wedding day. I have been in weddings where the photographer is unable to keep order and it feels like chaos. This was the complete opposite. My husband George and I were blown away by the professionalism Candace and her husband Josh have. It was a nerve-wracking day for us, but they made us feel so comfortable, relaxed, and at ease. We spent the day enjoying the moments instead of feeling uptight. From the moment Candace walked in while the girls and I were getting ready, I felt like she was a part of the bridal party and not just the photographer. The important thing is that they really listen to the vision your going for. From pictures you want to take, or don't want to take, to a pose or side you might favor, they truly hear you and that's an awesome feeling to walk away with. We are so happy we had Candace as our photographer for our wedding in July! Her photos are flawless, she is so easy to work with and her and her husband Josh make the perfect team! Our engagement session was so much fun despite a little rain and it was the perfect opportunity to get to know Candace and learn a little bit about how to pose for photos before the big day. After being part of other weddings, Candace's experience has been unmatched - she was able to efficiently capture all of our large group photos as well as a huge assortment of fun reception photos! I cannot say enough great things about Candace and Josh. The first picture I had ever seen from CJP was about 6 years ago, and I have been following her work ever since and knew there was no other option for a photographer at my wedding. I proactively booked my venue a year and a half before my wedding because I needed to ensure Candace was available on my wedding day, and I am so thankful I did. Candace is so well organized and attentive to her brides. When I asked for suggestions on other wedding vendors her advice was spot on and I was able to assemble a group that I completely trusted and that took so much stress off the day of the wedding, knowing I had nothing to worry about. We had a very large and outgoing wedding party and Candace & Josh didn’t even bat an eye, they kept everyone focused and where they were supposed to be and made sure to get all the photographs taken that I had asked for (and then so many more) all while feeling so comfortable, like they were friends we had known forever. Candace and Josh have a way of turning ordinary settings into incredible pictures, almost to the point where whenever I look at other photographers the photos look amateur. They are so talented and their photos stand out from the crowd. I 100% trusted that our pictures would come out absolutely perfect, and they did. Candace and her husband Josh make an incredible team and are worth every penny! You only get to capture these memories once and Candace has an incredible talent to capture all of these moments beautifully. During our engagement session we were immediately put at ease when we met Candace. She gave us tips and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She will also place you in different settings in the chosen location to get as many beautiful and diverse pictures as possible. On our wedding day Candace spent the morning with me and my bridesmaids, taking pictures as we got ready, and taking pictures of our invitations and other special details. She even helped me get into my dress! Meanwhile her husband Josh was with my husband and groomsmen taking pictures as they got ready. The two were in communication so that my husband and I wouldn't run into each other before the wedding. After the ceremony the duo took photos of our bridal party and families and sent them on their way so they may enjoy the cocktail hour. Meanwhile were able to take photos of just my husband and I before the reception, and they even stole us for a moment toward the end to take some more photos of just the two of us on the wedding venue grounds. She also had previously worked with many of my vendors so it made it very easy to coordinate things for the special day. Her photos are amazing and you will feel so beautiful in front of the camera! We had the Associate Photographers, Meagan & Joe DeCrescenzo as our photographers for our engagement shoot and wedding. From the very start we knew that we really liked Meagan and Joe. They both have a very relaxed approach and made us feel so comfortable. Having reviewed their work prior to meeting with them, we knew they could produce amazing photos. It wasn't until our engagement shoot that we saw what goes into getting the best out of their subjects.

As the lead, Meagan did a great job of directing us through different poses and suggesting just the right subtle adjustments that made a good shot great. She never came off bossy and only put us in places/ situations with which we were comfortable.

Meanwhile, Joe did an amazing job not only supporting Meagan but also capturing the majority of the candid shots from different angles. The dynamic between this couple team is obviously well versed and it shows in the results.

Speaking of which, the photos from our wedding and engagement shoots were nothing short of spectacular. We received all of our proofs less than a month after our wedding and couldn't have been more pleased. Every moment from getting ready to the reception was captured to perfection.

We'd highly recommend Meagan and Joe for anyone in the New England area. We not only got amazing photos but also had so much fun during all of the shooting. Saying goodbye at our reception was hard and we hope to have occasion to use them again in the future.

I am SO glad that we chose Candace and Josh for our wedding photos! My goal was to have polished and timeless portraits as well as images that captured the emotions of the day. Candace and Josh are excellent at both and the pictures on their blog don't even compare to the amazing photo collection they provided for us. In addition, they were an absolute pleasure to work with -- professional, responsive, and amazingly polished in their work. Candace was very open and honest about what would and wouldn't work in the portraits and had some amazing suggestions, including shooting near the cherry blossoms in bloom for our May wedding, that absolutely made the portraits. Josh did in amazing job of capturing those special moments that make a wedding, from couples sharing a private smile to children laughing with joy and of course us (bride and groom) and our parents and families experiencing the day. I am going to look back on these pictures with love and gratitude for years to come.

Not only are the pictures beautiful, the whole experience with working with Candace and Josh was wonderful. Candace was exactly the type of photographer that I was looking for. My husband and I are so happy we chose Candace Jeffery Photography for our wedding photography needs. Candace and Josh were helpful and professional from my first inquiry to the very last minute of our wedding day. I cannot say enough good things but the most important points to me were any questions I had beforehand were answered quickly, they were extremely organized the day of (including reigning in our excited bridal party and giant families), and went above and beyond to help with things having nothing to do with photography (Candace helped bustle my dress when it came loose mid way through the reception). We received our pictures within the promised time and they are outstanding. The posed pictures are beautiful and I also am so happy to relive some of the best moments of the wedding through the candid shots. We will definitely use Candace again in the future!

Candace Jeffery is amazing! my entire experience working with her and her husband was a positive one. Right from the beginning Candace was easy to get in touch with, every phone call and email was responded to immediately. She is flexible and very accommodating, for our engagement pictures she met us at our college which was about a two hour drive! On the wedding day, Candace went at the speed that worked best for my wedding party and myself which was really great. Best of all, the photos are so amazing, Candace captured the day exactly as i remember it. Her candid shots are so much fun, I really wanted to get photographs of the guests dancing the night away and she certainly has a special skill for that! Candace was the best. I would absolutely recommend using her, She is extremely professional and talented. She did not take one photograph I do not love!

Absolutely the best decision we could have made. Working with Candace and Josh for both our engagement and wedding photos was wonderful, effortless and fun! Candace and Josh are true professionals and I am glad that my husband and I each had one of them by our side as we got ready the morning of the wedding. They were discrete throughout the ceremony and reception, yet after looking at the stunning pictures, they were EVERYWHERE! We have already recommended them to other family members who are getting married next year! We are so glad we chose Candace and Josh as our photographers for our August wedding. Who we chose to capture our special day was the one area that I knew I wanted to make the right investment on. I searched through dozens of photographers from MA, CT, RI and NY but once I viewed their portfolio I knew we had to have them! Candace was so sweet and allowed us to take our time in creating our own chemistry in front of the camera during our engagement session. She even had some great ideas on what colors worked best in photos for our wedding planning (bridesmaids dresses, flowers, decor, etc). We received a preview of our wedding images within 2 weeks of the wedding and all digital images within a month! I was amazed by all the photos Candace and Josh were able to take throughout the day. Candace photographed both our engagement photo session and our wedding. We could not be happier with both sets of photos. They are beautiful! Candace (and Josh) are extremely talented photographers. Going through our photos, we have everything we could ever want: we have candids, ones with smiles, ones with laughter, and ones that are more serene. The quality of the photos are incredible and we loved that we get to have the cd/usb of our photos so that we can print as many as we want, whenever we want! As the mother of the bride, you worry about everything going smoothly the day and night of the wedding. A year of planning and you hope there are no problems. Candace Jeffery Photography are the BEST photographers in the New England area! We chose Maegan and Joe (associate photographers) and LOVED working with them. The level of talent these two possess is simply stunning ~ they have an incredible eye for photography, composition, and capturing memories so beautifully! As a graphic designer and visual person, I wanted to select photographers with a very tasteful eye and I definitely received that above and beyond my expectations with Maegan and Joe as our photographers. Our family and friends raved about how beautiful our engagement photographs came out at Gouveia Vineyards. We had a blast posing with Maegan during our engagement pictures, yet it was so much fun, natural, and playful, which of course led to amazing photos that I now have as canvas prints hanging on my wall. After viewing our engagement photos, our friend said that when the time comes for her to get married, she wants to hire Maegan and Joe they are so good! Our wedding photographs were equally incredible. They captured every beautiful detail ~ the dress, the veil, the shoes, stationary, jewelry, along the expressions and laughter that made our wedding day so fun. Candace and Josh were so easy to work with! We had worked with Candace for a great engagement shoot, and adding Josh into the mix was the icing on the cake. They arrived ready to make the day flow just as we wanted. Candace and I had talked at length about the flow of the day to ensure we covered everything. We had a list of family photos and dynamics we needed to work with Candace and Josh were all over it organizing people just as we wanted in a smooth and seamless manner. Everything moved perfectly.
Waiting for the bus we even snuck out in the flurries to shoot something different, and then out on Pratt street to wrap up the night. They worked non-stop of hours and from our sneak peaks I cannot wait to see the rest of the photos. These two are so easy to work with and truly make the experience fun with a little diva poses mixed in to ensure we're all having fun. You feel like you're working with friends and it's just so easy!

Candace Jeffery Photography was my photographer of choice for my wedding, March 7th, 2015. I work in the wedding industry, myself, and have worked with Candace and Maegan for countless weddings. They are two of the sweetest people I know and are so talented.

Brian and I felt so comfortable around them, which made our snowy engagement shoot all the better because we were able to throw snow at each other, kiss, snuggle, and even roll around in the snow without feeling like we were on a photo shoot. It made for the most spectacular photos that we will cherish forever.

And they captured all of our special details from our wedding, big and small. We put so much time and effort into our wedding; flowers, cake, gifts, hair & makeup, the band… it was all captured in the gorgeous photos. Candace and Josh shot our wedding photos at Hartford City Hall and the Society Room. We haven't seen any photos yet, but they were absolutely wonderful to work with. When you are picking the photographer for your wedding your entrusting them with capturing the story of your wedding day. To say that Candace Jeffrey Photography was able to do that would be an under statement. The photographs that Candace, Josh and Meagan took of myself and my husband that day are simply breathtaking. I am sure I am biased, but the locations, the lighting and the art that went behind them created the most incredible photos, more than I had ever hoped for, They exceeded in every category. Josh was incredible to work with the boys, he helped tie the ties, put on tie clips, get them dressed. He was so much more than a photographer that day, he literally stepped in and took care of everything the boys needed.

The Candace Jeffrey photography team from the beginning was incredible to us, we ended up getting short notice that we were moving and Candace was able to help pick a beautiful location and take the time to get our engagement shoot in for us before our move. She was always prompt to respond to any and every question and provided me with the strongest recommendations to ensure that every person I worked with on my wedding day provided me with impeccable service. She understood my style and what I wanted captured and she went beyond it.

I have followed Candace and Josh's work for a long time. When my husband and I got engaged and set a date, I called Candace immediately! I had never met her before but was so excited to hear she had availability for our wedding day. We met at our engagement shoot, which she made so easy & fun!
I want all future brides that are looking for the perfect photographer, or have already booked Candace & Josh, to know that these two are extremely professional and down to earth. They honestly have a way of making you feel like you are the only wedding they have ever photographed. That alone makes them so special and unique from any other photographers! Your wedding day & satisfaction is obviously very important to them.
Having Candace & Josh as our photographers was honestly the one thing we really didn't have to worry about during our wedding planning process. And we ALL know there's a lot to worry about! ;). They are perfectionists and make sure they capture every moment. I have gotten so many compliments on our engagement shoot alone and actually had guests at our wedding who were watching our slideshow ask me, "who are your photographers? these pictures are unbelievable."

Candace Jeffery came highly recommended to me from a friend. I liked what I saw from looking at her website so I called to inquire. We met with Candace and her husband Josh at their home studio for a consultation and loved their work. We were between two photographers and ended booking Candace Jeffery as her work was superior. Although she knew we were considering another vendor, she never pressured us into signing on. We did an engagement shoot and were nervous at first as my husband and I had never been professionally photographed together. Candace made us feel relaxed and guided us through so the nervousness went away in about 5 minutes. The engagement and wedding photos came out beautiful and we received many compliments. Vendor was responsive to email and delivered final product before the promised date. I liked our engagement photos so much that I ended up doing a boudoir shoot as a wedding gift for my husband. Another nerve-racking experience, but again, Candace made me feel comfortable and my husband loved the photos. We will absolutely be contacting Candace Jeffery for our future photography needs.

I spent hours trawling the internet for the right photographer for our intimate wedding. I compared every photographer in Connecticut (and beyond). We wanted something modern, creative, and original, with traditional touches, and Candace’s work was exactly what we had in mind. Candace was very accommodating, giving us any information we needed before we booked. The transaction was smooth and professional even though we made the arrangements from England.

Candace and her assistant Kasey were amazing on our wedding day, and we will always be grateful for their work. They were kind, patient, and most importantly, listened to us. They worked in perfect sync with one another, making it seem effortless as they moved from place to place, recording our wedding day from every angle. After being with Candace and Kasey for a few minutes, it was as if I’d known them all my life, it was a pleasure to share our day with them.

Candace’s photographs are beautiful, artistic, and timeless. We have a stunning album that people are always, massively impressed with, and that we will be proud to show our future grandchildren. She photographed the important things, the sentiment, as well as the finer details of the day. Amazingly Candace was able to capture the intimate moments we remembered, as if she was standing right there next to us, and seeing what we were seeing. Candace had clearly perfected the art of predicting, and capturing heartfelt moments, as she recorded meaningful expressions in the seconds that they passed our faces.

Candace sees opportunity in the ordinary, and uses the location, light, color and texture to the optimum, making her work breath-taking. She has an immense amount of talent, of which you’d expect from a photographer three times her age, and with a lifetime of experience. I’m sure she makes many a photographer envious.

Any photographer can take a good picture, but I doubt they could capture a moment in time, as beautifully as Candace Jeffery.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about CJP's work. Before we booked them, we had the advantage of seeing their work speak for itself at a wedding two years prior our own wedding and were very impressed with their photos. Candace and Josh are amazing to work with and they are incredibly flexible. When we booked them for our wedding almost a year in advance, we also set aside a few potential dates the during the slower winter season to do our engagement shoot. Since we really wanted to have our engagement pictures on a day with a fresh snow on the ground, Candace was willing to work around a few days to make it happen (despite the fact that we live almost two hours away from them); we really appreciated their flexibility! Throughout the whole time, Candace was completely responsive and professional to any and all requests or modifications to our package. On the days of our engagement shoot and wedding, Candace and Josh kept us completely at ease. Outside of our portraits, it almost felt like they weren't even there (I mean this, of course, in the best possible way). The pictures they took were amazing; Candace truly has an eye for lighting and a gift with the camera. Considering the volume of pictures they took (over 100 photos per hour), I was floored by how many of the pictures turned out well; it will be tough to narrow it down to just 40-50 photos for an album! Moreover, I loved how they managed to take pictures that suited everyone's taste (i.e.- some artistic pictures for me, some photo-journalist shots for my husband, and some traditional portraits for our parents). All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend Candace Jeffery Photography to anyone looking for preserve the memory of their wedding with the perfect keepsake that will last a lifetime.

I cannot praise Candace, Josh, and Maegan enough, and would highly recommend them to all future brides and grooms. Every aspect of my interaction with Candace was simply outstanding. Candace is incredibly communicative and responsive via email and phone. Any time I had an idea or a question - she was there with the answer.

In-person, Candace and Josh are friendly and professional yet easy-going. On the day of the wedding, Candace and Josh made everyone feel very at ease and they were so knowledgeable about making the photos look the best. Candace had us fill out a detailed form of what we wanted photos of on the wedding day - this was a brilliant idea - I didn't have to think about ANY of the portraits or the still shots of "things" I wanted - it was all taken care of beforehand.

Candace has an amazing eye. Our engagement photos came out so beautiful. Even when the weather didn't want us to have engagement photos. (we were rained out 2 times, and Candace not only rescheduled each time, but ended up coming to NYC because it was easier for us)
She also takes a great combination of "artistic" photos, candids, and portraits.

Also, I want to mention I am writing this review just 2 weeks after my wedding. I haven't seen one photo yet, but I know they will be exactly what we wanted. I know Candace, Josh, and Maegan took amazing photos - I don't need them in my hands to write this review. They are a stellar crew.

Candace has very competitive prices, particularly when you consider the quality of her work and business. I feel I got an excellent value for my investment.

Simply put, I cannot recommend Candace, Josh, or Maegan more highly. I believe all future brides and grooms would be thrilled to work with them.

Candace Jeffery Photography is the very best in the profession! One piece of advice that I would offer every bride is to be sure that you invest in a talented photographer - Candace and her husband are just that and SO much more! Candace and Josh made my husband and I (as well as our bridal party, family and friends) feel so comfortable and relaxed the entire day of the wedding. Candace was very responsive and extremely professional throughout the planning process, yet at the same time so much fun - I felt like she was part of the bridal party the day of the wedding, it wouldn't have been the same without her there! They captured every single detail and each beautiful memory from our special day in their photos and we couldn't be more grateful that we have such amazing photos to cherish forever. Candace was a dream to work with from the beginning! From our first consultation with her and Josh, we knew we wanted to work with them. We booked them within a few days of meeting them and began planning our engagement shoot! We had the best time! Candace and Josh made us both feel comfortable and we never felt posed. We used our engagement pictures throughout the details of our wedding day. On our wedding day, Candace arrived 30min before she was scheduled and went right to work! I was amazed by this! We barely knew she was taking photos of us as we prepped and got dressed. She never once made me or my girls uncomfortable. Fast forward throughout the day and again we barely knew she or Josh were photographing us! During our reception they chose photos from throughout the day to display and thats when I truly fell in love! I could not believe how gorgeous our photos were! I cried as I watched my wedding photos displayed on the screen for all my guests to enjoy. Everyone could not stop commenting on what beautiful work Candace does! She has been so easy to get in contact with throughout the whole planning process and even helped me make our day-of timeline. I absolutely will recommend Candace to every bride I know. I can't begin to say how wonderful it was to work with both Josh and Candace for our wedding. During our engagement photos, we sat and had coffee with the two of them and they got to know who we were as a couple. I really feel that through getting to know us, they tailored our wedding day photos to fit our personality, which was evident when we saw them. They were beyond accomodating to us and were willing to make their way down to MA for our wedding day. More so, our pictures looked like they came out of a magazine! We took our pictures in a place they had never been before and they were so creative with the photographs at both our venu and downtown Newburyport. To this day, we still get compliments of how unique and absolutely gorgeous our wedding photos are. They are absolutely AMAZING and I would recommend them to anyone. My husband and I cannot wait to work with them again in the future :)

My husband and I got married Friday, September 7, 2012 in Hartford, CT. We had the privilege of working with Candace and Josh Jeffery of Candace Jeffery photography. I have to admit, I stalked Candace’s work before choosing her to be our photographer for our special day. There wasn’t one thing I didn’t like while looking through her many portfolios online. It seemed as though every picture told a story and that is what sold us! We meet with both Candace and Josh and could tell right away we would all work really well together. Their professional yet friendly attitudes was exactly what we were looking for. They really went out of their way to ensure we would be getting exactly what we wanted on our wedding day and even provided suggestions for other vendors. On the day of our wedding, Candace and Josh showed up on time and ready to work. Like most brides, I was feeling a bit nervous but as soon as Candace started to do what she does best, my nerves were lifted and I really had the best time. Both Candace and Josh made my husband and I feel really comfortable and I think that shows through in all our pictures. They are absolutely incredible at what they do and could not be happier with the pictures they captured. We didn’t have a videographer at our wedding but I truly think the pictures they captured told the beautiful story of our wedding day. I would highly recommended Candace Jeffery Photographer to anyone who is interested in getting incredible photos for any special event. I hope to work with them in the future ;)

Candace and Josh were absolutely amazing to work with!! They were flexible, professional, had some great suggestions and I just love the style of their photography. As soon as I met them, I knew they'd be perfect.

They were unobtrusive, creative and made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole evening.
I wanted to take some photos at night in downtown Hartford and Candace provided some great ideas of where to take the photos before and during the reception.

Their level of professionalism, experience, knowledge, attention to detail and their personalities in general make them such a joy to work with.

I had known before we were even engaged that I wanted Candace Jeffery as our wedding photographers. A few friends had booked Candace Jeffery for their weddings and their work was breathtaking! I love photography and having really good and talented photographers was my #1 as far as importance for the wedding... more important than the venue, day of the week, or dress. I knew if I had Candace Jeffery at our wedding it would look beautiful no matter what. This said... Candace Jeffery was the first thing we booked. We met with both Candace and Josh at the consultation. Their studio in their home is welcoming, modern, and artistic. Our engagement shoot was a ton of fun! Both Candace and Josh were there and we had a blast! Candace and I met before the wedding to talk about a timeline for the day. She not only gave me advice around taking pictures for our wedding day, but she gave me hints and pointers about other things that I asked about regarding the wedding. The day of the wedding, she was beyond helpful... she helped me with my dress and veil throughout the day... I should have had her as a bridesmaid! She wasn't only like this with me... she was very helpful to two of my friends who also had her as a photographer. She just went above and beyond her role as a photographer. Candace and Josh are an awesome, young, talented and fun couple. They are people you want to hand out with on a Friday night and people who you want to shoot your wedding. Candace Jeffrey Photography is AMAZING!!!! Stop your searching for a photographer b/c I can guarantee if you go with them, you will be beyond satisfied and happy!!! Both our engagement and wedding photos were perfect. I spent so much time looking for a photographer and finally decided to go with Candace and Josh given their reasonable price and their unique artistic style. Their photos on their website and blog really speak for themselves. But some things that I really appreciated about Candace and Josh were the fact that they come as a couple. Candace stays with the bride while Josh works with the groom. This is an awesome match because they literally ensure they capture every little detail of your wedding. Being that I’m one of the first few of my friends to get married, I have very little experience in wedding planning and was trying to figure out all the logistics for the day of your wedding which seemed to be extremely complicated. However, after meeting with Candace before our wedding she was able to help me figure out the entire day…down to every little detail. Even though she’s not a wedding planner, I would say she is an EXPERT when it comes to wedding. Really, what makes Candace so great is that she is so passionate about what she does. As you can image the day of your wedding you are so stressed and what I loved about both Candace and Josh is that they were both such a calming influence throughout the day. Another thing that we thought was invaluable is that both Candace and Josh were so extremely organized. They are very flexible when it comes to making payments and every time we submitted a payment, they would send us an invoice immediately after which we really appreciated. It helped us a lot because we worked with many vendors that we had to contact to get billing, invoices, etc. but Candace and Josh were so organized we never had to worry about any of this. Also, I really loved that for my Bridal Shower I was able to register for Candace Jeffrey Photography. Candace and Josh made up these adorable cards that had photos from our engagement session that I was able to insert in my shower invitations. This really helped when paying for our photographer and purchasing the extra we wanted (i.e. CD of Engagement photos, Album etc.). I would recommend Candace Jeffrey to every friend I have getting married and definitely give them 5 out of 5 stars. I also have 3 other friends that have used Candace Jeffrey photography for their weddings and were thrilled with choosing this vendor!!!

Candace Jeffery Photography was amazing and did well over our expectations! They accomadated all of requests, were very professional, very friendly, and felt part of the family at the end. We have seen some of our pictures already and they took some of the most beautiful pictures we have ever seen! I can't wait to see them all!
Our wedding was a destination wedding with a reception back home. Candace Jeffery Photography took the time to travel with us to our wedding location. Now we have the most wonderful pictures of our ceremony so we will never lose the memories. And their ideas for trash the dress pictures in a foreign area was a lot of fun. During our reception back home, they knew the best locations for pictures. They were highly organized and had a great time frame to make it easy on us and our wedding party.

Candace and Josh are GREAT. If we could rate them higher we would.

Candace and Josh took the most amazing photos of our wedding. They anticipated all the special moments and with out attention capture them beautifully. They are very friendly, flexible and extreamly easygoing. Josh helped my husband get dressed and Candace's calming presence calmed down those hectic moments.

Artistically they are tops. My husband commented on how he could see Candace thinking about the shots as she took them...this is evident in the product. They are not just pointing and shooting they are actually considering the photo. And they do this w/ out you realizing it.

Candace made a few suggestions and we are so glad we took her up on them: 1. engagment shoot. This was the best. We got to know Candace and get familiar w/ the camera. And we also got some amazing photos. 2. Doing wedding party photos before the wedding. This was great. It cut back on anxiety and it allowed more time for some great shots. Also after the wedding gave us some down time to reflect and mix w/ guests. 3. Photos at Hartford City Hall. The location was perfect. It is like a big marble wedding cake in there.

I can't say enough great things about Candace and Josh! They definately made our wedding experience the best it could be.

Choosing Candace Jeffery Photography was one of the best decisions that I could have made when planning my wedding. As a bride, you have a MILLION things to worry about on your wedding day...Your wedding photos should not be one of them!! I only had to see Candace and Josh's work once to know that they were the right photographers for us. My only worry was whether our wedding date would be free with all their previously booked weddings, engagement sessions, boudoir and maternity shoots. Luckily for us, my husband and I had the extreme honor of having them photograph us on our wedding day! Months before the wedding, Candace drove to meet us in the locations of our choice, where we took engagment photographs. What an absolute blast!! Even the rain made for some AMAZING photos on the beach that I will forever cherish.

On our wedding day, Candace and Josh were there to capture ALL of the special moments..even ones we were not expecting! The best feeling of all was knowing that I didn't have to worry about not getting a photo of this or that beacuse I knew there was no reason to worry. Not only are they extremely talented, flexible, professional photographers, but they are kind, genuine people as well, and an absolute pleasure to work with! THE WEDDING WAS APRIL 2010 AND NOW IT IS FEB. 2011 AND CANDACE IS STILL HELPING.

Candace and Josh were amazing photographers! They were really flexible and a pleasure to work with. Our photos came out fabulous...our family and friends have been raving about them. Candace was able to capture every moment of our wedding, from the emotional faces during the toasts to the smiles and laughs during the first dance. She is creative and artistic and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Candace and Josh are the BEST wedding photographers in CT!!! They are so sweet and SO good at what they do. Their prices are reasonable too, and include an engagement session. Candace was very easy to work with and was very responsive and helpful during the planning process. The day of, we hardly even noticed they were there, but they were constantly taking photos. Many of our guests commented on how great our photographers were! Thank you, Candace and Josh, for making our wedding day so wonderful!!!

Great photographer! Candice photographed our wedding day from beginning to end. She is very professional and accommodating to work with. Our pictures and album came out absolutely beautiful. She has a great eye for taking photos. We couldn't be more happy with Candice as our wedding photographer and highly recommend her and Josh, who photographs with her.

Truly an amazing couple who really puts their all in each of their client's special days. They are very inspiring and professional photographers who use their artistic eye to capture joyous moments. As the bride myself, I never once doubted their judgments; and or decisions. They captured breath taking shots that we will have for a lifetime. We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer! Candace and Josh were great and all the wedding pictures turned out wonderful! Candace followed through on every promise she made to us and we cant imagine working with a better photographer for such a special day. Not only did the pictures turn out incredible but Candace and Josh were so much fun to work with. If it wasn't for Josh the Groomsmen would have never been able to figure out the Boutonnière's. Now we have a beautiful set of pictures to last a lifetime, including our engagment photo's which were included in the package!! Thank you Candace & Josh!!

As the groom, I never thought I would get excited about our vendors. About the day, absolutely, about the food, sure, but not about things like flowers or photography. After we met Candace and Josh for our engagement shoot, my attitude changed (about the photography anyway...I never really got into the flowers). Our pictures were amazing, and they were so much fun to work with. By the time our wedding day came, I knew the images would be phenomenal, and Candace and Josh really caught every detail and every ridiculous turn (like our impromptu "first dance" to an AC/DC song when the DJ skipped the plan). My wife is already planning our first anniversary shoot, and I have to admit...I'm excited too.

In a nutshell, hiring Candace Jeffery Photography was the single best investment we made in our wedding...and in many ways, it was an investment in our future, too! We made the decision early on that we'd have two things to remember our wedding day by--our own stories and memories, and the photos, so we wanted them to be top-notch. Candace delivered, capturing perfect portrait shots for Mom's mantle as well as all the tiny unexpected moments in our day.

The engagement shoot wasn't something we'd planned on initially, but when Candace explained why it was important to her process, we jumped on board and were thrilled with the results. Long before the wedding, my mom and his were in tears over their photo albums from our engagement session!

On our wedding day, Candace and Josh were there for every turn and felt more like the wonderful friends they've become than anyone we'd hired. Not only did our family and friends fall in love with them as people over the course of our day, the display of pictures that Candace set up during the reception actually cleared our dance floor at one point--and I couldn't have been more thrilled!!

As far as flexibility goes, I should add a few points:
- Candace and Josh came to Boston from CT for our engagement shoot, and shot during a cold and cloudy afternoon into the evening. Changing locations, changing light? No problem for these artists!
- Our wedding day lasted nearly 17 hours, including two ceremonies. I don't know how, but Candace and Josh didn't miss a shot.
- When it became clear in the months before the wedding that my Grammy couldn't travel up for the day, Candace assured me that she could turn our wedding pictures around while we were on our honeymoon so that we could spend a day with my Gram in FL to show her the pics while everything was still fresh. Not only did she deliver (at what cost to her sleep and sanity, I'll never know!) but that will always be one of my most treasured memories.

I knew our images would be beautiful, but I never could have imagined how completely they could capture the emotion of the day, and bring back memories of tiny little moments I didn't even realize I had. Candace is a true artist, and I look forward to her capturing many more moments for me, my husband and our family.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Candace Jeffery Photography!!! We happened upon them through friends while we were frantically trying to find a "the right" photographer for our wedding. As soon as we met them we knew it would be a perfect fit! They were so personable, proffesional and more then willing to work out a custome package to fit our needs. Not to mention their work was AMAZING!!

On our wedding day, not only were they super flexible but they really helped to make our day less stressful and helped to remind us that the day truely was about us. Though, they encourage First Glance pictures, we didn't want to see one another until I walked down the aisle. However, while waiting for our minister to show up, Candy came to me and asked if I wanted to see Mike. I didn't even think twice. I said yes! We met Josh and Mike outside, and it was hands down the most amazing moment of the day! It just goes to show that not only do they have a great eye but they also have a fabulous instinct!

Although we knew that their work was amazing, we were totally blown away when we sat down and looked through all of our images. It took my breath away to see how perfectly they had captured our love for eachother as well as such special moments between us, our parents and friends.

Finding Candace Jefferey Photography not only gave us priceless images, and a memorable exprience but a life long relationship with two great people! We plan on using Candy and Josh to capture our special moments for years to come!

Candance was very professional and an excellent photographer. She captured our moments perfectly with her photo journalistic approach. Preview photos were available immediately on her website and the shots were amazing. I highly recommend her to everyone.
