Cakes by Karol did an amazing job on our wedding cake! We have dairy gluten and nut intolerances in our group of guests. The cake was just what I asked for! They were happy to use the topper and stand I provided for my look, and the cake was moist, delicious, very eye appealing, and flavorful! Even the gluten free layer! Great job!!

I recently got married in Marathon Florida and was recommended to Cakes By Karol for my wedding cake and I can’t express enough how happy I am that I was! My entire experience was just flawless. Karol herself got back to me so quickly and was such a pleasure to deal with. She is so sweet and was always extremely professional. She was very accommodating and willing to make all my wedding cake dreams come true and did! You can really tell how much she cares. I sent her a photo of the look I was going for and she absolutely nailed it! And of course the cake was delicious! Since I am Jersey and I was getting married in Florida I wasn’t able to walk in and do a cake tasting but Karol offers a cake sampling that she can ship right to you which was so convenient and much appreciated. Absolutely can’t recommend her enough you won’t be disappointed!

I had such a wonderful experience with Karol, she made a Porsche themed cake for my husband as a "grooms cake" for him to have with the groomsmen before the wedding. It was such a nice touch. The cake itself was amazing, I wish we could have had more! Karol was great to work with, easy and quick to communicate with as well. My husband and I just celebrated our first anniversary so we thawed the top layer of the cake that we saved, and even a year later, it was delicious! Cakes by Karol was hands down amazing. She was super responsive and very quick to respond with any questions I had. Her creativity is mind blowing. I added 3 cake toppers of each of our pets and she very easily was able to accommodate the last minute change to add them. Planning a destination wedding in 3 months was stressful. Cakes by Karol made the wedding cake process fun! We ordered the cake tasting kit to be delivered to us in NYC. My now husband and I loved getting to try the different combinations of cakes, icing, and filling. We decided on the key lime cake, raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. So good!! I love you, I know... and other conversations I've had with our cake.
The vendor who received the most compliments at our wedding was a tie between the DJ (who you could only enjoy if you were there) and our cake baker/designer extraordinaire! My now-husband wanted to cut costs by not getting a cake. Specifically he told me, "no one ever remembers a cake." The cake was a non-negotiable for me. I live for good food, especially desserts. So, in my search of a cake design to spite my future husband, I located some inspiration on the internet and reached out to Cakes by Karol. And they clearly made it happen! My husband loves Star Wars (the Lego Death Star is our dining room centerpiece) and he absolutely adored, and will always remember, this cake. Perfect cake for an intimate wedding
For our guests peace of mind we postponed our guest-attended wedding to the end of the year and decided that just the two of us would get married in Key West. Cakes by Karol made us the perfect wedding cake and we personalized with our own toppers. They kindly delivered the cake to our hotel and ensured the staff stored it properly for us. The Best cake you could wish for.
Cakes by Karol made the cake for my daughter's wedding. It was the most beautiful and delicious cake I had ever had. Karol replys to every request immediately, and has a huge array of beautiful cakes. She decorates like an artist, and can very quickly interpret exactly what you want. She does almost any flavor you want, and everything tastes heavenly. The whole cake was eaten before the end of the night, and we had a lovely dessert table, but everyone wanted the cake. We booked from NJ, and ordered a cake sampling box to be mailed to us. It only took trying the first sample to know that Cakes by Karol was going to be our choice. There actually wasn’t anything we didn’t like! We ended up getting a cupcake tower with a small cake on top. The cupcakes were mixed in with tiny key lime pies and chocolate covered strawberries. Everything was amazing, and I am very picky about my cakes. She was able to take the information we gave her about our wedding, has us drop off our cake topper a couple days ahead of time, and made it into something wonderful. Definitely recommend!

Picking out a wedding cake from afar is difficult to do. However, Cakes by Karol made it so much easier. They have so many designs and flavors and they will work with you to create whatever your vision is. They were also very reasonably priced. They offer cake tastings that can be sent to you. This was a destination wedding for us so picking vendors was not super easy. We reached out to about 5 or 6 cake vendors receiving immediate responses from just a few. Karol was the MOST responsive and a delight to work with. We were able to make a quick trip before the wedding for a tasting and the presentation and options were wonderful. She was able to work with our budget still providing the look we wanted and our cake turned out exactly how we had visioned it. They tasted as good as it look too which isn't always the case! We plan on getting a mini cake from her when we go back for our anniversary.

Karol was super responsive and accommodating to us while we were in town over the holidays for our cake tasting. All the flavors are amazing- it was hard to choose. But we ultimately decided on a chocolate and peanut butter layer and a red velvet and cream cheese layer. Truly delicious- and not to mention that the cake was STUNNING! We received multiple compliments from guests about how tasty the wedding cake was. Highly recommend Cakes by Karol!!

Cakes by Karol was a delight to work with for our 3/3/19 wedding at Fort Zachary Taylor. We picked out one of her many designs, and it was a key lime cake with raspberry filling and white fondant icing, and it was delicious. She was well priced, and the cake was beautiful. If you're getting married in Key West, we strongly recommend Cakes by Karol.

Amazing and delicious!
My cake was absolute gorgeous. Since I ordered a small cake for 2 I wasn't sure if they would be able to capture our love and they did! A beach scene with adirondack chairs, flip flops, shells and a heart. We couldn't be happier with the cake and the service we received. I would definitely recommend Cakes by Karol!!!!

Cakes By Karol created the perfect wedding cake and grooms cake for our wedding. Not only did they look exactly like the pictures I showed, they also tasted wonderful!! I had several guests tell me they ate multiple servings and it was the best wedding cake they had ever had. It is not too often that you get both a beautiful and delicious cake. She made us a special vegan cake tasting for us to take with us, and then made us a three-tier vegan wedding cake with each tier a different flavor/buttercream combination. Cakes by Karol hosted the desserts and cake for our wedding day last week. I have Celiac Disease and other food allergies so I stick mostly to a gluten free/vegan diet. Given that, we did a one tier gluten free, vegan cake with chocolate cake, peanut butter filling and vanilla buttercream icing with a blush flower on the side. Not only did our cake look beautiful, but you would have never known it was a gluten free, vegan cake - it was DELICIOUS! I totally recommend them whether you have food allergies or not. Our guests loved the dessert display we put underneath (key lime shooters, chocolate trifle shooters, peanut butter chocolate shooters, chocolate covered strawberries). Our guests ate them until they couldn't eat anymore, even after our reception had ended. Cakes by Karol worked amazing with all of this and the fact that we live almost 2,000 miles away. They kept in contact with us through emails, calls, etc. and always responded in a timely fashion. That was such a breeze to feel important so far away. Thank you Cakes by Karol! If we could give you more than 5 stars I would!

Not only was the cake beautiful, it was amazingly delicious! We chose the coconut flavored cake with the key lime filling and it was to die for! We didn't end up taking the top layer home but we did take the rest of the cake and ate it over the rest of our honeymoon out of the hotel refrigerator! It was still delicious! From the initial contact to the final moments of our wedding, the staff were available 24/7 and our final product exceeded our expectations! The forms we filled out online were simple and made the creation of our cake simple. We loved our wedding cake!!! They were so easy to work with (via email), which really helped in planning our destination wedding. Their prices were lower than another cake shop, but that definitely does not reflect on the quality of the cake and their service! We visited Key West months before our wedding, and Cakes by Karol delivered the cake tasting to our hotel, super convenient. We ordered a 3-tier cake for 50 people; two layers were almond cake with ganache and almond buttercream, and the center layer was chocolate cake with almond buttercream. The cake looked just like the picture I sent and the sugar flowers were realistic and beautiful. Next time we're in the Keys we'll order something just to eat their cake again, YUM : )

We picked this company in Key West to help us with our wedding cake. We wanted something with a beach theme and boy did they deliver. This company and its employees are so wonderful! They were always helpful, quick with responses, willing to accommodate special requests and patient with us with all of our little special requests and even changes. We sent them pictures of cakes we saw online where we liked something about one and something different about another and wanted something that had the best of a few, and they pulled it off for us; What a Wow! I must also say that the cake tasted Great. We even went off diets to enjoy left overs. Our wedding cake looked and tasted amazing. We went with the key west version and had key lime cake, raspberry filling, and buttercream icing. It was delicious. I didn't finish my meal, but I sure finished that slice of cake. We were encouraged to upgrade to a larger cake due to the number of guests we had, but I'm not entirely sure that was necessary given the thickness of the slices everyone received. But, I wont complain. For about $40 we played it safe. Very happy with this vendor.

We choose a three-tiered cake, consisting of: lime sponge with raspberry filling, red velvet sponge with cream cheese frosting, and vanilla sponge with strawberry filling. Each tier was better than the next: As we had a destination wedding, we did not take the top tier back for our first anniversary, though it meant we did try them all! The cake was beautifully decorated: One tier was smooth fondant, another decorated with buttercream rosettes, and the final tier covered in buttercream ruffles. Karol decorated the cake with fresh flowers from our chosen florist, which was the perfect final touch for this simple but elegant cake. Thanks, Karol!

Wedding cake was exactly as ordered. The Key Lime with Raspberry, Coconut and Carrot Cake were absolutely delicious. Still trying to decide which was our favorite. With a destination wedding we were unsure what we would be getting...

Cakes by Karol made our cake and designed it based on the colors and flowers we were using at our wedding, reception and cocktail-hour. They also allowed us to drop off fresh flowers and orchids from our florist in order to personalize our cake, it came out incredible. The cake was excellent, rich and descant to the very last piece.
We chose a 3 layer cake in order to save the top layer for our 1 year anniversary and then ordered the other two layers in different flavors to accommodate approximately 50 guests. I would definitely recommend them not only for their expertise but also their customer services and their prices were spot on.

Cakes by Karol did such an awesome job with our wedding cake. We had a four tear cake each with different flavors as well as a back cake. We provided a picture of how we wanted the cake to look and they did such an awesome job recreating the image we had found. The cake was delicious. We had hoped to have left over cake for us after the wedding but it was so good that there wasn't any left for us to take with us. They are EXCELLENT Cake Bakery!

After speaking with a number of cake vendors in Key West, I decided to use Cakes by Karol. I had a specific design I wanted for my cake. I sent the picture to Karol and she happily said she could do exactly what I wanted. The cake turned out even prettier than I imagined it would look. We added a few additional details to the original design during our discussions online and in person while we visited Key West for our tasting and wedding venue walk through. Karol was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Not only did the cake decor turn out gorgeous, the cake tasted amazing. Our cake had three tiers and each one was a different flavor. During our tasting, we had the hardest decision finalizing our three choices, as all the flavors were delicious. You were able to pick from a variety of flavored icing and fillers. Everyone at our wedding was blown away!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our wedding day even more special! Karol, you are truly amazing!

We were married on February 12 through Weddings to go Key West and received two extremely delicious cakes from you! We wanted to send a huge thank you! We received so many compliments, and even heard "Best cake ever!" from a few of our guests. We are from Iowa so we checked to see if they would ship a cake for our party back here! Unfortunately they don't do that, but we will definitely be back to try this cake again.

We chose the cake on website and we chose the delivery to the place where we celebrated the marriage .

Our cake was gorgeous and beyond delicious! We chose a chocolate flavor and the key west flavor, 3 tiers. All communication was very friendly and I would highly recommend Cakes by Karol to anyone!

My name is Faith and I own an event planning company called Smashingly Events. We go all over the country and this particular event was in Key West -- a very elegant, special 40th birthday event. Cakes by Karol made four-two tier cakes, all different flavors, fillings and frostings with a very special monogram designed for the occasion. Other cake makers in Key West were not willing to give the clients exactly what they wanted. Ana at Cakes by Karol went above and beyond, with a wonderful, upbeat attitude, giving our clients exactly what they asked for. The cakes were beautiful, reasonably priced and executed perfectly. They tasted fabulous as well [at least according to the clients]!!! I would highly recommend using Cakes by Karol in Key West. We are soooo excited about our wedding cake
Our wedding is in April and Are from out of town so we came for a visit to see venue and taste cake but only for 24 hours Karol was sooooo wonderful in not only delivering or tasting to the hotel while we were doing our food tastings but for no fee and was always great w answering emails! All the cakes were AMAZING ! We had a hard time choising ! thankfully we had 4 choices since we have a 3 tier cake and a grooms cake ! Karol is WONDERFUL to work with highly recommend !

I had an amazing experience with Cakes by Karol for my Key West wedding! I had to plan from a distance so I was worried that things would be out of order. This vendor, like my others were amazing! Everything from tasting the cake to having it delivered was flawless. The cake looked EXACTLY like the photo I submitted. Everything down to the fresh flowers looked exactly the same. Super easy to work with. The cake also taste fantastic! I would highly recommend this vendor!
