A Beautiful Place to Get Married!

As a vendor, I have been at Caffe Luna dozens of times in my career and I can tell you that they are very kind professionals! Their food is always amazing and the staff's friendliness is even better! I always love getting to come downtown to party with Darcey and her staff!

Amazing Food and Service

I can't say enough about the fabulous job that Caffe Luna did catering my daughter's wedding. Darcey was so professional, organized, and competent from the first meeting to the end of the event. Beautiful Venue! Couldn't be happier with our special day!

My husband and I got married at Caffe Luna this November and we were so happy with the venue! We had both the ceremony and reception at Caffe Luna. It was great to have it on a Sunday as the restaurant was closed and we had the whole place.

Darcey was super helpful throughout the planning process, always happy to answer questions and replying quickly. The day of the wedding, the staff helped with the setup of the centerpieces, served the food and helped cut and serve our cake. And not to mention the food was delicious! Everything went so smoothly and we were able to just have fun and enjoy the day with our loved ones.

Rehearsal Dinner of my dreams

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here over Labor Day weekend, and it was perfect! Darcey was so friendly and easy to work with, responding very timely to emails and phone calls. All the food was amazing (we went with the Ravioli and the white cream pasta dish as our pasta choices, the latter being a huge hit); people said it was probably one of the best rehearsal dinners they have had! It was so easy to just have an open bar of wine and beer. The staff was very attentive, and spaced out the courses perfectly. Both dessert options were delicious. We had a couple people who had to eat gluten free, and the staff was able to use high-quality GF pasta for those people. We had 37 people in our group which felt like the right amount of people; if we had the max amount of people allowed (50), it probably would've felt too crowded and too loud. The room/decor felt very classic and elegant without feeling stuffy. We invited our guests to the speakeasy (Watts & Ward) below the restaurant, which was a huge hit with our guests! Overall, I would 100% recommend this establishment for anyone looking to host a rehearsal dinner or a large party. My husband, my in-laws, and I could not imagine picking anywhere else!

Blown away!

We had our wedding reception at Caffe Luna at the beginning of August (our ceremony was at JC Raulston Arboretum). I mainly chose Caffe Luna for the price because we were trying to have a "cheaper" wedding. It is incredibly reasonable and it makes it so easy that food + alcohol + venue + service is all included. Cost effectiveness aside, I was absolutely blown away by Caffe Luna as a wedding reception venue! Darcey, the catering manager is such a joy to work with. Not only is she nicest person ever, but she is so quick to respond and so flexible. Caffe Luna staff helps with setting up & breaking down & they also serve the alcohol. They helped my reception run so smoothly and were so great to work with. I highly recommend having your reception here if it is on the smaller side (room fits about 80 people with room for the dance floor). You will love the food & the staff! Also we took some amazing pictures outside super close to Caffe Luna (see attached).

Amazing Food, Amazing Service

Caffe Luna was one of the preferred vendors for The Stockroom at 230, and we are so glad that they were! They were affordable (comparatively speaking), the food was delicious, and the service was amazing. Darcey was an absolute dream to work with! We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Darcey kept in touch with us the entire time. Even when I had to make several adjustments to what we needed, Darcey worked with us to make sure we were able to stay within our budget and still get what we wanted. I highly recommend Caffe Luna for anyone looking for an amazing, delicious, and affordable service!

Perfect Venue with AMAZING Food!

What a beautiful venue. The food was amazing (as it always is) and the staff was wonderful. Darcey was committed to making our day special. She was so organized and efficient. This is probably the best value you will get for your money. The buffet price includes wine and beer!

Absolutely wonderful!!

Caffe Luna was very quaint, yet such an elegant experience. Not a lot of decor needed. The food was delicious and the staff was professional and very helpful with all aspects of my wedding from beginning to end.

Great food! Great staff! 1 price for food & alcohol

Cafe Luna catered our wedding at the Cannon Room on 10/23/21 and we couldn't be happier! I'm vegetarian and their normal buffet has a lot of meat on it, but they were very willing to work with us and make sure it was a delicious, largely vegetarian menu. We got lots of compliments on the food!

The staff on the day of the event were wonderful, joyful, and helpful all night and Darcey is a legit pleasure to work with! She was very helpful during our planning process, quick to respond to questions and generally wonderful to work with.

Other things we appreciated: they were open to serving desserts from anywhere and would also serve alcohol we brought in at no additional fee. Another big plus for us was that their is one price per guest that includes food and alcohol. This helped us avoid surprise bills at the end of the event, which was important to us. They also had real plates, glasses, silverware, and linens available as part of the cost.

Amazing intimate venue

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here. Had eaten here before so we knew the food would be top notch. Darcey will be your saving grace! She was always very responsive and very flexible. She made planning everything so easy! Our whole day went smoothly because of her and the amazing staff. Great value and delicious food. Wine and beer included! It really is a beautiful space for any occasion and our wedding was definitely a wonderful day for us and our guests. Look no further, you won't be disappointed!

Awesome venue

We were originally planning to have a 150 person wedding, but 4 weeks out we had to cancel at our original venue due to COVID. We ended up having a smaller wedding and moved it to Caffe Luna - it was incredible! The team (namely, Darcey) is AWESOME- very accommodating, flexible, responsive, kind, and helpful. Although re-planning a wedding 4 weeks out was stressful, they made it as easy for me as possible. Food is amazing- good variety of meat, seafood, and vegetarian options. They even let you have a DJ! Highly recommend for baby showers, rehearsal dinner, and weddings. Can't thank them enough for helping make our wedding day so special!

Excellent food/reasonably priced

We booked one of their private rooms for a wedding rehearsal dinner for our son’s wedding in November, for 40 guests. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our guests were very complimentary about the food and service.
My Italian-Canadian family members who grew up with homemade Italian cooking all enjoyed the food..The catering manager, Darcy Tinga was very responsive and accommodating during the planning. There were several options of meals to choose from, and you can’t beat the price for a sit-down, high quality meal, inclusive of wine. I highly recommend Caffe Luna for private events as well as for dining.

Amazing Rehearsal Dinner

We had our son's rehearsal dinner at Caffe Luna. Everything about it was phenomenal! We had 74 adults and children. The buffet food was amazing and above and beyond our expectations. We had a number of celiacs in our party and Darcey and Erin along with the chef went out of their way to have so many gluten free options for them - and they were knowledgable about the need to avoid cross-contamination. The staff at the restaurant did most of the work setting up my table decorations before I arrived. Darcey was super helpful in getting the menu set like we wanted. She helped me by coming up with the table floor plan. We had so many compliments from the guests attending the dinner. Everyone thought the food was delicious! Eat, drink, and be married!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Caffe Luna. From the incredible food to the outstanding location, Darcey and her team went above and beyond to make our 100 person wedding reception a success. Everything was included-- the meal, the linens, the alcohol, and more-- which made the wedding planning process that much easier. Darcey was so easy to work with throughout our wedding prep, and offered helpful feedback and advice immediately whenever we had questions. And the food... oh my stars! The consensus among our guests has been "best wedding meal ever," and we have to agree!! We are so grateful to Caffe Luna for making our big day one for the books.

Fabulous, Fun, Fantastic!

Our wedding reception was such a blast here! We sat 80 people comfortably. It is a dazzling, enchanting, beautiful gem in the heart of downtown Raleigh. What you get for your money is a delicious buffet of some of the tastiest dishes the restaurant has to offer, unlimited wine and beer with a bar tender, linens (we used our own), silver and glass wear, breathtaking atmosphere, and a kind and friendly staff. They also have a private room where the buffet is held where my husband and I got to chill, sip some beer and nibble on our own plates of appetizers made specially for us before we were introduced. That certainly calmed the nerves and took the edge off! Darcy was a pleasure to work with and was very professional and thorough will the whole process. She helped us out immensely and is very good at what she does! Parker, the owner, is also fantastic! He is very personable and got involved with us, making my mom laugh several times as he has en excellent sense of humor! We very much appreciated this venue and everybody who helped make our day truly magical! I would HIGHLY recommend to anybody!! Pictures coming soon!

Caffe Luna is the best place to have a wedding

I have to start by saying that I looked at a bunch of options, and some places had a great location but limited catering, others had good catering but not the best location, until I realized that I'm going about it all wrong and I need to have my wedding at a restaurant. That's when I called Caffe Luna and from the get go the pricing was great, the owner was so responsive and accommodating, and I finally felt that I had found the perfect place for me.

Now, I have to mention Darcey. SHE. IS. ABSOLUTELY. AMAZING. She was so responsive, answered all my questions promptly, knew so much about weddings, and was so organized and helpful that I wouldn't have been able to do it without her. I didn't even need a wedding coordinator because between her and me, we were able to execute everything to a T. Thank you so much.

Next comes the location, and honestly Caffe Luna is so beautiful that you really don't need to even decorate it that much.

The food was absolutely delicious - some guests told me it was better than the food they had at their own wedding. They had so much variety in the buffet, there was an adequate amount of food for everyone, and they even made accomodations for gluten free guests. I'm a vegetarian myself and still found that the menu was not limiting in any way whatsoever. For me the most important thing was that the food should be good, and the guests should have enough of it, and these two things were true for Caffe Luna. We also got so many boxes of leftovers - it is well appreciated. Plus, let's not forget the unlimited drinks!

Finally, the staff at Caffe Luna were excellent and helped setup everything, cleanup afterwards and were so sweet to me the entire time - even when initially I was a little frazzled by everything. I want to thank the entire staff again for making it the best day of my life and for everything going so smoothly!

I would HIGHLY recommend Caffe Luna! Darcey was wonderful to work with - very responsive and accommodating. Having the 20 or so years of experience coordinating numerous weddings, Darcey has it down pat. She knows what works, what hasn't worked well in the past, how to plan out the timeline for the event to make it flow smoothly, and provided great recommendations for vendors.

The venue is so nicely decorated that it requires little in additional decor aside from centerpieces, which helps save some cost. And I literally can't explain how amazing and plentiful the food is! Everyone had rave reviews for the food, including us as b&g. The beer and wine options were also wonderful and we had it on our budget to offer an additional few wines and local microbrewery options.

Absolutely amazing evening and I can't say enough great things about Caffe Luna!

Our daughter and son-in-law had their rehearsal dinner at Caffe' Luna in May and it was one of the best experiences we ever could have hoped for! We had a private room (and were allowed to bring in centerpieces and personal photographs for one of the tables earlier in the day), the limited choice menu offered something for everyone (and we had great guidance on those selections), the bar was well-stocked and well-managed, the food was wonderful and appropriately served, the service was world class (we had two servers dedicated to us and they could not have been more accommodating), Daniel even helped us load our car after the event. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion --- in fact, I just recommended it to a friend yesterday!

Our wedding experience with Caffe Luna was amazing. Darcy was so accommodating, she listened to everything I wanted, and found a way to make it happen, while still giving her professional opinion. She worked with my wedding planner and vendors to make sure everything ran so smoothly. The whole staff made the whole experience incredible. Let's not forget the food! It was incredible all of my guest loaded their plates and there was still plenty of leftovers. Multiple people came up and told us how good the food was. The fact that we didn't have to worry about tables, chairs, or linens made it so we had one less wedding stress to worry about.

I was worried about the space for our 100 person party, and the fact some people would have to eat in the separate room, but everyone fit comfortably and those that don't dance enjoyed the fact there was the separate room that they could sit and talk without the noise of the DJ. There was definitely plenty of room for people to bust a move! The space, the food, the staff, and the price made Caffe Luna the perfect place to get married.

I got married at cafe Luna May 6th, 2018 and it was wonderful. Darcey was amazing! She helped me with the itinerary, making sure everyone was on the same page, and not pushing to go past any budgets we were on the same page that less was more and that with the venue itself you didn’t need a bunch of decor it was simple and beautiful on its own it didn’t need flowers draped everywhere or on every table it was just everything I wanted. The buffet style was incredible all the different options of food and leftovers galore! The food was delicious, the fruit was fresh! There was plenty of room for guests. It exceeded expectations. I 100% recommend. I have such high praises nothing went wrong the entire time.

My wedding was just late week but I had to share my wonderful experience with Caffe Luna. First Darcey was the best, she promptly answered every phone call and email. She reassured my husband and I throughout the whole process. She explained everything in great detail. We dropped off our decorations the day before and both the owner and Darcey greeted us, and also reassured my mother-in-law that everything would go smoothly. They were also very accommodating to my family's dietary needs. We did use chair covers and our own napkins, but the space is so beautiful and has such a great view you can really transform the space to your personal style. The staff was so friendly the day of the reception. All of my guest loved the space. We chose the buffet and it was delicious. Everyone raved about the food. There was so much food we had guest that purchased coolers to take food home with them! I would recommend Caffa Luna to anyone looking for a great wedding venue.

Caffe Luna was the perfect venue for my daughter's Bridesmaid Luncheon. We held it the day before her wedding and included many special ladies in her life. Darcey was a joy to work with throughout the process. She and her staff are top notch and go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. We had the luncheon in the Palm Room with 36 guests. The food, service, and setting were all spectacular. Having searched the Triangle for just the right venue, I am overjoyed that we chose Caffe Luna and had the opportunity to work with Darcey.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Caffe Luna and loved it! You will get great (and a lot of) food, a cozy atmosphere, a beautiful old building, and prompt / friendly service. What's not to like?

The value is super b/c everyone gets unlimited beverages (incl. beer and wine) included in the per-head pricing, which makes it one of the best deals we found. The location is also perfectly central for out-of-towners staying in downtown Raleigh, and for after-dinner drinks at Watts & Ward, like we did :)

The one thing that was a little tricky was, we had a lot of speeches at our rehearsal dinner, and b/c we had only booked one half of the space (around 50 people), it was loud and tough to hear at times. But we knew that would likely be the case, and it by no means held the night back.

Final word -- loved working with Darcey the whole way through as well! She is one of the sweetest people I came across in this whole wedding process. Seriously, so kind and accommodating. So knowledgeable, thorough and responsive.... She is a real gem!!!

Wow... where do I even start?

Darcey is wonderful. She is the event coordinator at Caffe Luna. She was very responsive and organized. She worked with me on everything I wanted. I didn't have a wedding coordinator and could not have done it without Darcey.

Staff on wedding day was all so nice and professional. They helped me set up all the decor before the reception & made sure that everyone's tables were cleared and drinks were filled.

The owner of the restaurant congratulated us during one of our first visits and treated us to one of their desserts.

Food is just amazing! All the guests raved about the food. Some even mentioned going back with their family members after the wedding.

Venue? If you have ever been to the restaurant, you already know how beautiful it is inside. So elegant.

I did a lot of research before choosing Caffe Luna for our wedding ceremony and reception. If you're on a tight budget, they are the most affordable, elegant, and beautiful venue you'll find.

We used Caffe Luna for our small wedding of 40 people and it was perfect! Dinner was amazing, the staff was wonderful, and the location is beautiful. We could not have had a better experience.

I am so happy with my decision to have our intimate wedding at Caffe Luna and could not be more happy with the service that they provided from the food, drinks, decor, etc. Darcey and the entire service staff were beyond accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process and the wedding day. We loved our wedding and Caffe Luna was a huge part of its success!

We had our wedding with about 50 guests at Cafe Luna last summer, both ceremony and reception. It made life so easy to have everything in one place and also have food, tables, chairs, linens, tableware, alcohol all in one place and taken care of. It's been almost a year and people are still talking about how good the food was (go with the buffet, seriously!) Darcey and Parker were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Darcey & the whole Caffe Luna staff was amazing throughout every step of our wedding! We had a small Sunday afternoon wedding and it was just perfect. The food was phenomenal, the wait staff was on point and everything looked just beautiful. We could not be more pleased with how our big day went. Highly recommend Caffe Luna!

Ms. Tinga and the Caffe Luna staff are wonderful, and we cannot emphasize our gratitude enough. Every step of the reservation process was taken care of expertly by Ms. Tinga. We told her what we wanted and a way was made for all of our little ideas to materialize. She was also very honest with us about any financial contingencies we should plan for for a wedding in the new year. We ended the event under budget because of this. Ms. Tinga made sure to host follow-up meetings. She responded promptly to all of our messages. The staff took care of everything for us the day of our wedding. We didn't need to worry about a wedding planner. Also, the owner of Caffe Luna is such a sweet soul. We met him twice. He made sure to have a conversation with us each time, and he seems to take wonderful care of his staff. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with the delicious food and beautiful decor. Do consider your photographer's experience level as Caffe Luna can produce darker photos. Ms. Tinga can provide a list of recommended vendors too.

We used Caffe Luna for our catering, and you cannot beat the deal that you get. The food was delicious, and all at a very reasonable price. Everyone there was so accommodating and helpful- always willing to put in the extra effort to make sure everything went well! We had tons of food left over, and everyone was scrambling for the leftovers because it was so delicious. i'd recommend them for any wedding or party you're putting on!

If you want a wonderful place to have your wedding and/or reception for <100 people, have it at Caffe Luna! I want to shout it! Darcey was wonderful to work with, and the venue and food were awesome. We were a little afraid when we were planning our wedding that this venue may be a little too small, but it was perfect! We had our Wedding and our Reception at Caffe Luna. All of our guests raved about the food at our wedding. As expected, I did not get a chance to eat at the wedding, but the next day when I finally got to sample it...omg...so good and it was in abundance! Beer and wine were included in the per head price...most reasonable rate we found in Raleigh. The venue, paintings on the wall and lighting made the setting so intimate and romantic. I really cannot say enough good things about this venue!!

Darcey with Caffe Luna helped us from the first day to pull off a perfect wedding. We first toured the restaurant several months before our wedding and we instantly fell in love with the place. Darcey was extremely easy to work with and accommodated us along every step of the way. The staff were excellent and the food was amazing. Our only regret was not getting more food for ourselves!

One word: Amazing!

Caffe Luna is the best-kept secret of Downtown Raleigh Weddings. We looked at approximately 10 downtown wedding venues before stumbling upon Caffe Luna, and I'm so lucky that we found them. From my first interaction with Darcey, their catering manager, I knew that they would be a perfect fit for us. Through our 15 months of planning, Darcey was always available to answer every single question, no matter our tedious.

The wedding weekend was perfect, from our rehearsal the Friday before to our Sunday wedding. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves and were able to accommodate nearly 100 guests. The food.... oh my! What can I say about the food that would adequately describe how seriously delicious every single thing on the menu was?? Then there was the service. Everyone who worked our wedding was so kind and professional. Our family and friends cannot stop raving about how beautiful, unique, delicious, and fun our wedding was.

Extra bonus? Everything we envisioned about our dream downtown wedding was significantly cheaper going through Caffe Luna. Our entire bill at Caffe Luna would have been what we paid for just catering and alcohol for another wedding in downtown. Plus, the venue essentially decorates itself, so we had to provide very little in terms of decorations.

From my first phone call to Darcey at Caffe Luna for information to picking up my decorations the day after the wedding (that the staff had already boxed up and had waiting for me) my entire experience was phenomenal! We had our small wedding of about 24 guests in the VIP Room on a Friday night. The room was gorgeous with very little additional decorations other than a few flowers and candles. We had a small ceremony before dinner in the room. The food was delicious! (Make sure you go for a tasting so that you can pick your pasta entrée selections.) We had an open bar of beer and wine. The service was on point. My wedding was everything I had dreamed it to be! Darcey was very easy to work with and always quick to answer my millions of emails. I can't compliment Parker and his staff at Caffe Luna enough.

Cafe Luna was the perfect place for our small rehearsal dinner! The food was amazing, the services was great, and Darcey was super easy to work with. Setting up the rehearsal dinner was really hassle free which was perfect because we had so much going on, planning the wedding on our own. It was so nice to be able to set up the rehearsal dinner and then forget about it! And once again, the food was absolutely amazing! Our guests really enjoyed it!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Darcey, who helped us making our wedding absolutely perfect, and the entire venue and staff at Caffe Luna! Our guests raved about how delicious the food was, the speedy service, and seamless transitions from beginning to end - it could not have gone better! We had a 90 person rehearsal dinner at Caffe Luna, and couldn't be more pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere. Darcey was a pleasure to work with and followed through with everything she promised. She and Parker accommodated our special requests, and the crew executed it flawlessly. It's reassuring to know that once you've put a lot of thought into your plans, the professionals will make it happen. You can't go wrong with Caffe Luna!

We booked Caffe Luna for our ceremony and reception venue and we were beyond happy with our choice! We worked with Darcey throughout our entire planning process and we also had her as our day-of coordinator on our wedding day! She, and the entire Caffe Luna team, did everything in their power throughout our planning process to make sure we had the best experience possible. They were so responsive to us and helped make all of our requests come true! They made everything so easy and at such a great price!! Our guests loved the intimate and beautiful venue and the food was delicious--family members are still raving about it! We would HIGHLY recommend using Caffe Luna for your entire wedding, it was so easy to keep everything together at the same downtown location and guests enjoyed spending time in Downtown Raleigh for the weekend. Again, I cannot stress how awesome they are and how beautiful everything turned out and stress-free it was!!

Caffe Luna was a wonderful addition to my wedding festivities. My reception was a blast, all of my guest loved the venue and had nothing my glowing remarks for the staff. If you are seeking a location for your wedding that is beautiful, elegant, and cost effective, with delicious food and kind, caring, helpful owners and staff, Caffe Luna is it! We are so happy that we found Caffe Luna for our wedding ceremony and reception, and so grateful to the owners and staff for their wonderful service.

The folks at Caffe Luna genuinely care about pleasing their customers. Darcey is incredible - she listened, provided advice, and on our wedding day she was everywhere, keeping everything running like clockwork. The preferred vendors list steered us to wonderful vendors, all of whom know Caffe Luna and worked effortlessly with Darcey for a seamless event.

The food was delicious. Our guests are still talking about it. It was a great value for the price. And it was beautiful!

Having the wedding ceremony and reception in one place was convenient for our guests and us. Everything combined meant a stress-free, beautiful, fun day for us and our guests.

We highly recommend Caffe Luna to anybody planning a wedding.

The four from Caffe Luna was INCREDIBLE. We received so many compliments from guests! They give you the most food for your money. Where other caterers only offer one or two entrees and one or two sides, Caffe Luna gave us about 15 different food choices for the guests. They were very easy to work with and were flexible with any and all menu changes we wanted. We barely had any food left over because our guests could not stop going up for more! The servers and bartenders were very professional and attentive to our guests. Absolutely love eating at this restaurant and highly recommend for catering!!

Planning our rehearsal dinner at Caffe Luna may have been the easiest and most rewarding vendor interaction of my entire wedding. I emailed Darcey a request...she instantly replied with all info and options...I booked the venue...and voila, we had a delightful VIP room all to ourselves for the evening. Delicious food chosen from an easy-to-understand catering menu with unlimited wine, great customer service, and zero hassle, for less than $1500 for 27 people.

I just wish we could have had our wedding here, too, but with 110 guests, that wasn't an option...Thanks Caffe Luna! You've made yourselves some loyal customers.

If you're looking for an affordable venue in the triangle, don't look anywhere else!! Caffe Luna provided us with the entire restaurant, all tables and chairs, a buffet (with TONS of food), table cloths, room setup, servers and a bar with wine and beer. They even threw in a free champagne toast because my husband is a veteran! Darcy is the coordinator and she does an amazing job. They do multiple weddings almost every single weekend, so they know what they're doing! The venue was beautiful and everything was pretty much set up when we got there. The food was AMAZING and I highly recommend that you include the chicken and spinach pasta in cream sauce on your menu! We had tons of left overs, which we took home so our family could continue to celebrate at home. With everything included and easy setup, the price is EXCELLENT. It rained the whole time, but they allowed us to take photos even though they were trying to get the buffet ready. They listened to our every request and I honestly had no complaints. I highly recommend this as a venue or caterer!

We had our ceremony and reception at Caffe Luna. The space is so beautiful it requires very little decoration. What I love most about Caffe Luna is how easy it was to plan the wedding of our dreams- you just pay per person and the EXCELLENT event coordinator there handles everything from setting up tables and chairs to ensuring the menu is just the way you want it. Included in the price is the space, table and chairs, linens, set up and take down, wait staff, the meal, and wine and beer for the guests. Speaking of menu, the food is amazing. My guests were blown away by the quality of the food and are still raving about it a week later. I was in grad school while planning this wedding and Caffe Luna and the event coordinator (Darcey!) made the whole process as stress-free as possible.

I write to offer my highest recommendation of Caffe Luna as a wedding reception venue. This restaurant was the perfect size for our small, intimate wedding of about 65 guests, although it is my understanding that they can accommodate as many as 150. The food was delicious and we really appreciated how our guests could order their entrees off of a personalized menu like a regular restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely with paintings by the owner's wife adorning the peachy pink walls. It is a lovely setting for an afternoon or evening reception; ours was during the day and the light was perfect for pictures. Darcey Tinga and her team were a pleasure to work with, always happy to answer questions and amazingly accommodating if we had any special requests. (E.g., we asked for a fruit platter instead of their normal dessert options of cheesecake/chocolate mousse, since we were already having a wedding cake.) Caffe Luna was an amazing venue for our wedding reception on June 20, 2015. The buffet is a great value and includes a huge spread of delicious food as well as unlimited wine and beer. Everyone loved the food and the space and asked if we chose the decor, which was already in the restaurant, for our Monet-themed wedding. Darcey, the catering manager, responded immediately to all of my questions and requests during the 1.5-year planning process and was great to work with. I would definitely choose Caffe Luna for another event!

I had my reception at Caffe Luna and it was perfect! Darcey was always very helpful and made things as stress free as possible during my planning process. My husband and I recently got married and had our rehearsal dinner at Caffe Luna. It was the perfect location and gave all of our family and friends a little taste of Raleigh. Planning the rehearsal was easy and Darcy made sure everything was perfect. It was wonderful to have a private room for our dinner, as we had 46 people. Caffe Luna is very professional and scheduled the evening perfectly. They have hosting events down to an art. The atmosphere and food were wonderful and it was a great time to catch up with friends and family. We would recommend Caffe Luna to anyone looking for a delicious rehearsal dinner, easy planning experience, and warm atmosphere!

This is what you get for $65/person + $300 ceremony fee:

(1) beautiful ceremony space with big windows that let in plenty of natural light, hardwood floors, nice wooden chairs arranged in ceremony seating

(2) similar reception space with tables, chairs, dishes, silverware, white tablecloths, black linens

(3) bar tender that served 3 wines (chianti, pinot grigio, white zinfandel) and 3 beers (amstel light, miller light, heineken)

(4) we chose buffet, this was our menu: "cocktail hour" with cheese and crackers and fruit platter, and lunch with pork tenderloin, shrimp with cocktail sauce, sliced smoked salmon, calamari with marinara sauce, poached salmon, grilled beef tenderloin, grilled chicken breast, penne pasta with tomato sauce and mozzarella, rigatoni pasta with chicken and spinach in cream sauce, asparagus, green beans. And cream puffs. OMG, the cream puffs. All the food was so good. And there was plenty to go around and our families can EAT.

(5) no cake cutting fee, Caffe Luna also provided a cake table and a gift table.

(7) one amazing and very experienced event coordinator who was very responsive and gave great suggestions on everything from menu choices and table layouts to how the day would flow. We got the impression that Caffe Luna genuinely wanted us to have a beautiful wedding and did everything they could to make our day run smoothly.

The only drawback is parking and traffic which are both out of Caffe Luna's control. On weekends, there's a small lot across from Caffe Luna that is reserved for restaurant patrons only. A parking deck is right behind it. Downtown Raleigh traffic can be tough to navigate for out-of-town guests but a good map and clear instructions should help clear up any confusion.

Now, scroll back up and remind yourself of the price :) If you're looking for good bang for your buck, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better venue in downtown Raleigh.

They did an amazing job! Darcey was very responsive and flexible. We were waiting to go down the steps at our venue, and she brought us some small snacks to take care of us. The staff professionalism and courtesy are of the highest value. Our guests are still raving about the quality and quantity of food. We had a ton of leftovers. They have helped to pack up those leftovers for us. They have helped to make our wedding day wonderful and stress free. And it was very appreciated because a lot of guests had difficulties getting in that weekend due to storms.

We chose Caffe Luna for our wedding and reception because we enjoyed their food, the price was right and so was the location. As we started to tell our friends and family, we heard from more and more positive experiences. We hoped it would live up to the hype – and it did!\r\n\r\nIt was a breeze planning our event there. The owner is almost always there, out front greeting people and working hard, and Darcy, the event coordinator, is indeed amazing. She was cheerful, energetic, engaging, extremely accommodating, easy to reach, and always helpful, from start to finish. \r\n\r\nThe venue is beautiful. The food was fantastic. It\'s served buffet style: Shrimp, sausage, pasta, salmon, meatballs, fruits, cheeses, veggies, creampuffs, breads...everything was really, really good. People raved, and got their fill, and there were leftovers. We had guests with shellfish allergies, and they were incredibly accommodating.\r\n\r\nI really just can\'t say enough about how great our wedding here was. It\'s definitely a Raleigh institution, and would recommend it to anyone that wants a classy, gorgeous downtown wedding at a great price. \r\n

We used Caffe Luna for both our reception venue and our catering. Darcey was absolutely amazing to work with. She always responded to my emails (and I had a TON of emails) in a timely manner and I never stressed about anything. Darcey will answer any questions you have, and will go above and beyond to give you the best answer possible.
Not only is Caffe Luna so beautiful it practically decorates itself, the food is amazing. We got SO many compliments on how good the food was. The waitstaff was very friendly and professional, and made sure all of our guests had the best time they could!
I would recommend Caffe Luna to anyone who is looking to make their wedding affordable and amazing!

This was the perfect venue for our Saturday afternoon wedding, Caffe Luna does lots of weddings and they know what they are doing. Darcey the event manager was easy to work with and had good suggestions for us. Everything ran smoothly. The restaurant was beautiful and the food delicious. We have enough leftover to feed my large out of town family for a couple days. I would be happy to recommend Caffe Luna as a wedding venue.

I can't believe how amazing and beautiful my wedding turned out at Caffe Luna! All I can say is, Caffe Luna's prices were almost half of some other wedding venues we visited! Darcey Tinga, whom helped coordinated everything, is worth her weigh in gold! The staff was amazing, and folks raved about how delicious the food was! Caffe Luna is so beautiful that you need very little decorations. Tables and chairs are included in your rental. You don't even pay a rental fee, you just pay a price per person. If you want to have your ceremony there, it's only $300 for 100 people seated. The deposit is what got me! Only $600. The ask for payment in full about 1-2 weeks out. Now, that is very helpful for a budget bride. You will love this place!

Caffe Luna was by far the best decision I made, aside from my groom. The entire staff was wonderful. Darcey walked me through everything and helped whenever I had a question. Brent was apparently around on the day-of the wedding but he had things running so well, I don\'t think I ever got to meet him. My guests are still raving at how beautiful the restaurant was and how delicious the food is. Our wedding ended up with 59 guests total and if you are in the same general range, I DEFINITELY recommend looking into this place!

Darcey and the team were GREAT! From my first tour of the property to taste testing, to those final plans the week before .. everything was a breeze. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and how great the day turned out! I got nothing but great feedback on the actual décor/feeling and the food/service on our big day. Working with Caffe Luna was a breeze.

I really feel like Caffe Luna is the best value, most flexible and has the best food in town for a wedding reception. They offer a decent price and they don't skimp on anything! We had beautiful linens and plenty of ways to customize the set-up. They were very accommodating with all our vendors and our unique preferences. The catering package offered is simply perfect; there is something on the buffet and bar for every one of your picky guests! The food was delicious. The staff was kind enough to set aside plates for the busy bride and groom so we could make sure to enjoy it. They also handled the cake cutting and provided the service. The bar stayed open until the reception was over and they handled all the clean up. Darcey, the wedding coordinator, is incredibly easy to work with and has great ideas for how to customize your preferences.

We loved this venue. Darcey, the catering manager was a pleasure to work with. The rooms were set the way we requested. We had both our ceremony and reception here and both were flawless. The staff was very attentive and cordial. Everyone at our wedding loved the food and the ambiance.

Caffe Luna catered our daughter's wedding at All Saints Chapel. The staff was punctual, friendly, and hard-working, especially Darcey, event manager. Caffe Luna offers high-end dishes including smoked salmon, steak, shrimp, and many vegetarian dishes: everyone was raving about the food! Sooo delicious and classy. The buffet is reasonably priced considering it includes unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks for a 4-hr period: plenty of time for social hour and reception. It also includes set-up, service, and clean up. I simply cannot recommend Caffe Luna highly enough: hire them, and then eat, drink, and celebrate!

I had my wedding reception at Caffe Luna recently and it was amazing!! We had it on a Sunday, so the restaurant was not open to the public. We used 2 rooms for the reception, and the main dining room for the buffet of food and it was a perfect sized venue for 65 guests. It was intimate, but not crowded. And the dinner was FABULOUS!!! Our guests could not stop talking about the variety and quality of the food. They still comment to us how good it was! And the rooms are so beautifully decorated already, so all we needed was a few simple centerpieces for the tables. The alcohol was included in the price, so we didn't have to estimate how much people would drink. And the wine and beer selections were really good! Darcy was so great to work with. She was professional and flexible and she really spent time working with us to make sure our night was perfect. The entire reception was really affordable, but also extremely classy. I highly recommend Caffe Luna for a wedding reception!!

My daughter had her wedding and reception at Caffe Luna with 65 guests. It was absolutely perfect!! Darcey worked closely with us from the day that we reserved the date. She was always available to help. She suggested great vendors and was prompt with her responses to our many questions. Our guests loved the buffet that Caffe Luna provided. It was a huge spread of food with something for all tastes. It was truly some of the best food that we have ever eaten!!

Our reception was absolutely perfect! Caffe Luna relieved me of any stress the days leading up to my wedding. Darcey is amazing to work with. She is so accomodating and knowledgeable. And she answered all of my annoying emails quickly!!! The food was delicious and our guests are still talking about it. AND, they boxed up the buffet leftovers for us and we had enough food to last us weeks (we froze some of it so we could get more out of it)! I highly recommend Caffe Luna for wedding receptions. We had about 60 guests so the space was perfect. We had plenty of room to dance and mingle. Best day ever!

Caffe Luna has a great buffet with a wide spread of good food. The food is also not the typical buffet food, which is why we went with Caffe Luna. We worked with Ryan who was very professional and responsive.

Parker was so sweet and accommodating to our wants and needs for our wedding day. We were more than pleased with the professional service the wait staff gave our guests and the food was absolutely amazing! People are still talking about how wonderful the food was and it's been almost a year now!

We held our ceremony in the front room at 4:30 on a Sunday and the lighting was perfect. We put sheers over the big doors that we stood in front of and it looks so pretty in the pictures.

We are very happy with our choice to have our wedding ceremony and reception at Caffe Luna!

Selecting a caterer for the wedding reception can be very overwhelming, especially in an area where there are many to choose from. Caffe Luna was on the list of our venue's preferred caterers and we checked out several of the other caterers of the list. It was very difficult to make the final decision - Raleigh has some AMAZING caterers out there! Delicious food, friendly staff, and top notch service.

We decided to go with Caffe Luna because of many reasons. First of all, we were happy to support a local business that has been around for so many years. I even went to Caffe Luna for prom my sophomore year of high school! Secondly, the staff was very responsive and accomodating. Between my parents, me, my wedding planner, and the catering manager at CL, it was a blessing we were all able to meet so many times to plan!

Thirdly, and the best reason of all to choose CL, their procedure to book and use their catering service is EXTREMELY easy! Choose anything off the catering menu and you're golden, but they are very organized there and helped choose some excellent options. Everything is about $40 a head which includes the food, beer/wine (yes - alcohol included!), linens, dishes, glasses, flatware, etc... Many other caterers are all "a la carte" so it really adds up when you have to consider each menu item and each fork you have to rent for each individual guest.

We opted for an additional beer selection, Prosecco toast, as well as passed hors d'oeuvres so it was a little more than $40 per person but totally worth it.

One thing to note about the linens is that the linens they offer are the ones they use at the restaurant. We had to rent different table linens since we were using large round tables at the reception. But we did use Caffe Luna's dishes and napkins!

Set-up and break-down was a cinch. I did not even notice the staff unless they were handing me a drink. All of our guests also complimented how great the staff was!

From the first tasting to the end of the reception, Caffe Luna was a dream to work with! And yummy too!

I had my ceremony and reception here and I must say for the price it was absolutely amazing. The food was to die for and my guests continued to rave about how delicious everything was. The staff were so accommodating and willing to help out any way that they could. For those brides planning an intimate wedding on a budget I would highly recommend Caffe Luna

Delicious!!! Good food is important for a wedding, and Cafe Luna takes the cake, so to speak. The food is phenomenal and the service is great. We had our reception at the Duke Gardens and they provided all the linens and tableware, and they even served the cake. Wine and beer were unlimited as well. I wasnt a fan of the beer selections, which are mandatory, but the wines were FANTASTIC. Great value and great food. You can even take home all the buffet leftovers, which was a huge hit at the afterparty!

We are so happy we chose Cafe Luna for our ceremony/reception venue! The food was great, and there was plenty of it! Ryan helped with everything we needed and always responded quickly. Cafe Luna and Ryan Hill were the perfect choice for our small, intimate wedding. I loved not having to worry about the food, linens, tableware, bar set up, etc. They did it all and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this venue!!

Fabulous value for your money. Ryan was easy going and fun to work with. There are no "hidden fees" with Caffe Luna, which you have to look out for with wedding vendors. The food was to die for and the service amazing!

We used Cafe Luna for our rehersal dinner. The food was great, there was a ton of it and its a good value since it includes unlimited beer and wine. Ryan was very helpful. She had suggestions for reception halls and did all the work coordinating with the one we chose so we didn't have to worry about anything.

I am so thrilled with our choice of Caffe Luna. I knew nothing about Raleigh and this location was a referral from the officiant that we selected, Kayelily Middleton. I didn't know Kaylelily either, so to choose both of these without a lot of history was risky, but I am so happy that I took the risk. Ryan, the manager, that I worked with at Caffe Luna was superb. I was so happy when I saw her at my reception helping out. Not only was the food spectacular, but the service was impeccable and they decorated the space beautifully! We hosted our wedding reception at Caffe Luna, with a beautiful lunch buffet. The prices were outstanding, and the service was exceptional. Our coordinator, Ryan, made everything happen exactly the way we wanted it to... we could not have been happier. The restaurant is a beautiful setting for any celebration. We had room for everyone (about 130 guests) and a dance floor and DJ too. Our guests loved the unique setting and delicious food.

This was the most beautiful and tasty reception many of our guests had ever been too! Parker is wonderful. Several times my husband and I have said we need to get married again so we could have another reception there! The place is so well decorated that we got hand-tied bouquets for the bridesmaids and they put them in vases on a couple tables, and we were done decorating for the reception. The paintings are wonderful.

My husband and I got married the day after Christmas and woke up to snow on the ground! Despite the wintery set back, our coordinator had Caffe Luna ready and awaiting ours and our guests arrival. The food was wonderful and all the staff was extremely accommodating to our every need. We had both our ceremony and reception at Caffe Luna, and it was absolutely gorgeous! One major perk - set up an appointment to meet with the wedding coordinator and lunch is on them!
We highly recommend Caffe Luna to any couples considering the romantic downtown Raleigh location.

Great Venue for your wedding !

We had our wedding here April of this year, 2023. Darcy was so helpful during this entire process of planning and was available to answer any questions. Our wedding was so amazing and the staff working our wedding was great and polite. I would definitely recommend Caffe Luna. The only reason I took away 1 star was because in the middle of our ceremony while we were saying our vows (literally the most important part), a worker in the kitchen was either sharpening a knife or using a blender, unsure what was going on, but it was super loud. Other than this everything was perfect. I included some pics of our special day at Caffe Luna.

Amazing food

Darcey, the catering events coordinator, was so great to work with. She was very flexible and made sure that the day was exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing--our guests loved it. No food was wasted--they brought to-go boxes and we brought all the leftovers home and froze them!

The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. The food was fantastic and we received multiple positive reviews from our friends about the food. The staff also worked well with our other vendors and were able to do a quick turn-around from the ceremony to our lunch. The only critique is that the ceremony is in front of a window along the street and a fire truck went by during our vows with the siren on. However, this is not Caffe Luna's fault and it made for a funny story.

Caffe Luna was a great place for the reception. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting. Ryan Hill the catering manager was very flexible with the arrangements and prompt in answering emails/phone calls. The staff was very courteous and the buffet spread was awesome! :)
