  Must hire best ever

  I had Chris and Ella for my wedding. They were so amazing. Chris helped calm me down the week of my wedding helping me find a perfect location for photos. He listened to all I needed and helped with everything. Elle was so amazing. Especially with the kids getting them to pay attention for photos. She helped grab my shoes or random things. I just appreciate them both for helping making my day so special.

  Best photographer ever!

  Chris always puts you first and is always there for you, literally anytime you need him. He strives to make your day as smooth and perfect as you do! He will not disappoint, and even with my now-husband who's not huge into photo keepsakes, even HE is excited to get our photos back from him because he was so talented and went above and beyond for us on our special day ❤️

  Perfect Photography Experience

  Booking C. Tyson Photography was probably the best decision my husband and I made throughout the wedding planning process. For years I have teased my husband about how awkward he is when he gets his picture taken and joked that our future wedding photographer would have their work cut out for them. Well, Chris made it seem easy. From our initial meeting with him, we all hit it off because Chris is so easy to talk to and get along with. During that meeting, our engagement session, and on our wedding day, Chris knew exactly what to do and say to put my husband and I at ease, make us laugh, and get amazing photos throughout the process. He took the time to get to know my husband and I and it was clear that he genuinely wanted us to enjoy our day and have the wedding of our dreams. Chris was there all day with us, making sure that everything ran smoothly and photographing everything along the way. He brought along an amazing second shooter who was equally as fun and caring as he was. Our wedding photos came back faster than I had expected and they are absolutely gorgeous. He captured every important moment throughout the day and a lot that I hadn't even realized had happened. Looking through our gallery was like getting to relive our wedding day all over again which we truly loved. I can;t say enough great things about C. Tyson Photography and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great photographer and amazing pictures to cherish for a lifetime.

  Quality Photographer!

  Chris is the best choice for a wedding photographer. He is very professional, but personable and extremely skilled at what he does. We couldn’t be happier with the photos or the experience! My husband and I had the most amazing time on our wedding day. Chris and his assistant were an integral part of our day. They kept the day flowing smoothly, and made sure things stayed on track. They had worked with many of our vendors in the past, and things just happened around us with very little input needed from us. That was honestly the greatest thing. We were able to truly enjoy ourselves! We had 3 flower girls and 2 ring bearers, who were a little mischievous at times, and both Chris and his assistant were so great with them. While the price point may be considered a little higher, you absolutely get what you pay for. The quality of service he provides on that special day and end product of the photos and wedding album are incredible. I can’t imagine the day with any other photographer. I am so glad we took the time and allotted the budget for a quality photographer. You won’t regret the money paid to get such an unparalleled experience! Five stars!!

  Incredible person & photographer!

  Chris was more than a photographer for us on our wedding day; he was there with us from the early morning to the very late night, capturing every special moment, and just helping in any way he could. We are so incredibly thankful for him. When we first met him he spent the time to really get to know us and understand our story.   Perfect Photographer

  Christopher was such an amazing photographer! Our first meeting with him was very laid back and he took the time to ask us questions and get to know us a couple. He took our engagement photos and we loved them! He made that moment very special and it was filled with a lot of laughs. Our wedding photos turned out beautiful and he was able to capture every moment perfectly! Him and his second shooter, Elizabeth, were there our entire wedding day to make sure nothing was missed! Not only did they take photos, but they helped with little details and kept us on schedule. We have gotten so many compliments on our photographs and we can't thank Christopher and Elizabeth for capturing our perfect day!

  AMAZING Photographer!

  Booking Christopher to be our photographer was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding! Because of him, we will be able to live forever through the moments he captured. We all want exceptional service and even more exceptional photographs on our wedding day. Well let me tell you, Christopher delivered. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and enjoying our day while capturing every amazing moment - all without intruding and while encouraging us to be present in the moment! He helped us achieve better photographs than I could ever imagine! In addition to his amazing photographs, Christopher was approachable, fun and professional. He is very experienced, knowledgeable and passionate, and it shows! We also felt his packages were fairly priced and truly ALL inclusive. I can promise you that you will not regret making him apart of your special day!

  Simply the best

  Chris is simply the best. If you want a photographer that cares about you and the photos you of your big day this is who you want. He truly fits in with your group and makes your day smooth. We have double divorced parents and I got Very overwhelmed during that portion of the day... Chris made it seem like he needed to take a break for something camera related just so I could take a few minutes to re group. One of the groomsmen in my wedding loved him so much just based off of how he handled and moved the day along that he just booked him for his wedding!! Chris is the best. End of story.

Throughout the entire process he reassured us and reminded us that its our day and he is there to support us in anyway, beyond just taking beautiful photographs! We got married at the Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms and he advised us on exactly how our day would go and the best places to take photos at the best time. Some of my favorite photos are during the reception when we snuck outside to grab pictures around sunset. He took beautiful photos, and sent us all the photos shortly after the wedding so we didn't have to wait long.

  I cannot say enough great things about C. Tyson! Of course he delivers amazing, unique photos, but that's a given. What's even more amazing is how genuine and dedicated he is to his wedding couples. Throughout the day Chris was our photographer, wedding planner, bodyguard and therapist. When the venue was trying to push us to have the ceremony indoors due to possible rain, he looked up the weather forecast and helped me stick to my gut to stay outdoors. When we were still being pushed to be inside, he helped both my husband and I put our foot down and stay outdoors. I'm not sure our ceremony would have been as gorgeous if he hadn't been there! In the end we had only a light sprinkle throughout our vows and then a rainbow afterwards, which Chris caught on camera, naturally! The little things are some of the most memorable also, like holding my train of my dress up from the mud, as well as my shoes when my feet were hurting. These are things that you would never expect from your photographer.
  The communication was always great, and responsiveness was perfect. I felt like throughout the entire process he really took the time to get to know us as a couple. He is one of the best investments that I think one could have on their wedding day!

  I met C. Tyson Photography at a bridal show. I was a fellow vendor there to showcase my services. I was new to the business and I think we could tell. He was friendly and introduced himself. We started talking and I went up to his booth to take a look at his work. I was stunned. I loved everything! At that point (way before I was engaged), I knew he was going to be my wedding photographer. Just take a look at his gallery and you will see for yourself the amazing work he does. He captures the moment and you feel the emotion with it. My wedding was on New Years Eve and from day one he never made me feel like I was taking him away from his holiday. He was totally committed and it shows in his work. He is very easy to work with. We did our engagement photos with him as well and after he finished them he asked for feedback so that he could have a good sense of what we were looking for in our photos and so that he could ensure we get that. I liked that he was open to taking serious and fun pictures. He really understands you as a couple and plays off of that. He also had a great turnaround time as we received our photos much faster than others in the industry. Once again, he was open to hearing feedback and asked if there were any changes to the photos that needed to be done. We were so happy with them! I shared them with my closest friends and family first and received compliments of "breathtaking", "I knew your photographer was amazing", "gorgeous", and many other lovely words. Chris and his assistant captured our day beautifully. I cannot thank them enough for getting all the excitement, emotion, fun, beauty, love, and joy in our photos. His work will be forever loved.   LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER YOU WANT!! The photos speak for themselves, but with Chris you get much more than just amazing photos. Throughout the planning process, I lovingly called him my co-planner. I still think he should start a side business as wedding planner, but he disagrees. I don't think we made any big decisions without getting his input first. Thanks to him we picked a kickass production company/DJ, the food was awesome, and we have one of the best wedding videos you'll ever see.   LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER YOU WANT!! The photos speak for themselves, but with Chris you get much more than just amazing photos. Throughout the planning process, I lovingly called him my co-planner. I still think he should start a side business as wedding planner, but he disagrees. I don't think we made any big decisions without getting his input first. Thanks to him we picked a kickass production company/DJ, the food was awesome, and we have one of the best wedding videos you'll ever see.   If you want THE ABSOLUTE BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE ROCKFORD AREA LOOK NO FURTHER. When I say Chris was mine and my husband's favortie wedding vendor, I mean it. Chris not only takes amazing photographs but he is so personable! When we first met Chris he made us feel as if we had known him for years! He went out of his way to do several things for my husband and I! Even carried my shoes for me on my wedding day :) He is very professional, yet humble at what he does.   Chris is more than a photographer, he has become a friend to both me and my husband. Words cannot due justice to the ride we have had with Chris over the past 9 months. In middle of planning our wedding, I(the bride) got extremely sick and was in the ICU for a week and on treatments through a port and unable to walk for a few months, he found out about this and went out of his way to call my Fiancé and ask what he could do for us, and not only one time he was checking in with us regularly. He has gotten to know us as a couple and has learned our story so on our wedding day he was able to capture everything that was important to us. From the breath taking pictures of our ceremony, to the sweet moments of getting ready with my girls, and the candid moments of the groomsmen, to the most touching sentimental pictures of all the details. The day of the wedding my body was exhausted and I was having a hard time getting around and Chris went out of his way to help my now husband with me and still give us EVERY beautiful shot we wanted, even though I was limited. He is amazing and we have had countless people tell us from our bridal party and family, that he was the best they have ever seen and we agree. We would pay every cent again to have Chris, We are so grateful to have had him as a photographer and now as a friend! Thank you C.Tyson we love you!
